Yeah, I feel the same. I'm so disappointed with the way we get treated and what men think is okay.

Now I can't stop imagining a victorian era woman being like "Shit, I accidentally dropped my handkerchief while passing in front of George! I'm so clumsy! And now he is looking at me with hope in his eyes, oh no, oh no. Don't talk to me!".

I don't mind a cold approach in public spaces as long as it's "not so cold". Someone approaching me in my workplace, a place I'm volunteering, or in a place that is related to a hobby of mine is actually kind of a turn off, because that would mean I can't escape them. Obviously someone who can't read cues is not worth it, i.e. approaching me when I am at the supermarket or walking in a public place while talking on the phone or sitting down on my own while checking something on my laptop.

The comment "monk-like monogamy" blew my mind. Does this guy even know what sexual lives monks have? Non existent. Total abstinence. Celibacy. So from this guy's point of view to be in a monogamous relationship requires as much discipline and effort as being celibate. Got it. OK bro.

I mean I agree with everything above. But I would take issue with my partner masturbating. Men and women who are single and masturbate using fantasies or non porn material like a picture of a hot person I think it's fine and healthy. Or even toys. That's how you learn what you like. Once someone is in a healthy relationship that is not long distance, masturbation has no place in it. Like, it really does not fit in the schedule. I don't feel the need and I asked my partner if he ever feels the ne…

Hahah you just described what they watch in anime/hentai! That's the only way a woman can look like that, if she is a drawing! The thing with the expectations is real. Men have so many unrealistic expectations of women. And the sad part is that many of us, myself included, have tried to meet their demands. When it comes to appearance it had left me feeling insecure and that I didn't have enough feminine traits, as I could not bring myself to take care of removing hair, putting on makeup, styling…

I mean, there is no info on the wife. He only says she tells him he is a failure for not making enough money. That is supposedly the only thing she does. Is she working? Is she in between jobs so she she is busy with job searching and interviews? Is she recovering from birth or an illness? Does she have an issue with her mental health? It may very well have been the case that he promised her everything she wanted, even lied about his financial status to get her and when she realised (too late) t…

Most men I've met claim to not be pussies (funny how they use the word pussy when they mean coward) but will not go to the dentist. It is a combination of not taking care of themselves because mommy used to make their doctor appointments and being afraid of necessary medical procedures. And yet women are labelled as the emotional ones.

I almost think due to her means she’s better off keeping him legally a little at arms length. This! It's the reason there are so many rich and famous single mothers. But it is not the same when it's about normal women, who aren't rich. It rubs me the wrong way because young impressionable girls will think that if Rihanna did it it's cool. And it is cool, for Rihanna. Not for the woman working 9 to 5. That woman should have a joint account with her husband so they can both take care of housing ex…

I totally get what you are saying. It comes from being fed the narrative that fashion is soooo important and if you wear a jacket your outfit will not be visible and it's the end of the world, lol As a person who gets cold easily, all my winter pictures look like there taken on the same day because I wear the same coat, scarf and beanie on most days. And it's okay. No woman should be fashionable 24/7. Being warm, being comfortable in your clothes should be a priority. When I saw the pictures my …

You blew my mind. And it makes so much sense. Instead of being respected for their labor that took skill and practice and the fact they were financially independent, the word for their occupation was reduced to describing a woman that is past an age deemed appropriate for mariage. And it is used as an insult, while "bachelor" is used in a positive way to describe single men. Language shows how people think.

I believe a man who is dating you or in a relationship with you should actually like you as a person and that should be clear. I've seen this so many times in the women around me. Especially the older ones like my grandma, her sisters, some aunts. Their husbands just didn't respect them, you know, like a human, like another being, like a partner, like an equal. It always rubbed me the wrong way when I witnessed that as a kid.

I think the point of "the lobster" was to make us think about how society demands from us to find a partner no matter what. Especially pointing out all the people who lie and pretend they have things in common with their crush or that they have to be the same or do the same things in order to be together. In "the lobster" you have a side character, a guy with a limp who pretends to get nosebleeds so that he can be with a gal who gets nosebleeds. In the movie mentioned on this thread you have the…

I agree with everything Jordan Peterson said in this clip and I'm glad someone who is a red pill favourite called them out on their b¥llsh!t. However, I really think the guy is dangerous. He is using his education and his speech tools to argue in favour of conservative values. There is a reason he is admired by straight white Christian men. It's just dehumanizing. I would never rate a guy or a gal using numbers. It's not a meal or a hotel, it's a person.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/11/21 07:56 AM

Can we just discuss how appaling it is to have someone rate you? I would never assign numbers to a person. Outside of a classroom, rating assignments or job performance it's just... awful. I don't think even model agencies do that, where it is essential to judge a woman's looks.

Same. You know how a certain type of man is so selfish he will walk ahead of his girlfriend just because she can't/won't walk as fast as him? Well, if I happen to stay behind my boyfriend because I'm walking slower, looking at something, adjusting my bag, etc. I actually keep staying behind him some more to look at his ass and his muscular back. And he stops as soon as he realises to wait for me. So I'm like don't worry, keep going, I'll catch up in a while, to admire some more the way he moves.

I mean if a woman with slightly above average body fat wanted to date, men would tell her to focus on herself first, lose weight, stay fit and then start dating. Why do men get all worked up when women tell them they need to work on themselves, stop being broke and then start dating?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/11/21 04:58 PM
55

Yeah and then men will say that them being raped is worse than any woman being raped. They claim that women get to keep their femininity intact even when being raped but men are stripped from their masculinity in the same situation. They are basically gatekeeping rape.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/11/21 04:47 PM
13

Exactly! Thank you very much! I would say at least they should drop the act, that it's about realism, but you know what? Even if they were admiting that they get off by violence against women, I'm still getting pissed off. Because nobody should get sympathy points for simply being honest when via their honesty it is revealed that they are shitty people.

Don't feel like a fool, I bet he asked for everything you did for him directly or indirectly. We are conditioned from very early stages in life to be kind and considerate, sometimes it is really difficult to realise when men take advantage of us.

Don't forget the unpaid labor of women cooking, cleaning, doing chores, planning for the future, such as making a groceries list or reminding men to go to appointments, giving fashion advice and organizing group events. Can't get that from a hook-up or fwb. That's why men who are not interested in serious relationship go after women who want a relationship. So they can exploit her.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/10/21 12:22 PM

Totally. I have noticed that it is always men who get nostalgic about former partners and realise they want them back, women on the other hand (might take some time after the breakup) always have the same story about their exes, that they didn't treat them right but they were too blinded and attached to see it.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/09/21 12:51 AM

I think this is because women are conditioned to try and find positive attributes even when there are none. So the friend in this case latched on to some very abusive behaviour from another man and now thinks she should be grateful.

You could wake up with a S.T.D., a missing tooth, beaten up, covered in blood. Why would someone agree to hand over so much power over your body, your health, your safety to anyone? I blame the general notion for women to be agreeable at least and submissive/obedient for a lot of men out there.

And let’s put one lie to rest for all time: the lie that men are oppressed, too, by sexism—the lie that there can be such a thing as men’s liberation groups. Oppression is something that one group of people commits against another group specifically because of a threatening characteristic shared by the latter group—skin color or sex or age, etc. The oppressors are indeed fucked up by being masters (racism hurts whites, sexual stereotypes are harmful to men) but those masters are not oppressed. It always makes me sad when people feel the need to reduce an individual to a number. You are a 7, you are an 8, etc. It's even more sad when they insult all women by saying they will accept a 7 (still a high number) as if they are doing those attractive women a favour, but only because they are more agreeable than 9s and 10s.

"When reached by phone Tuesday, Avery's father said his actions were the result of 18 years of built-up frustration and his emotions got the best of him." And then women are supposed to be the ones who overreact and cannot control their emotions, right? I would understand if someone did that to be petty about paying a fine or losing a bet to a friend. But paying your child support? 18 years of built-up frustration he says. What about about the frustration of the mother who was alone, dude? It se…

I really liked this one. As an older sister with a brother 9 years younger it was obvious to me from the beginning that we were treated differently. Up to a point, I got it, I was the easy child, self-maintaining, and he was always immature. However, I have given it much thought the recent years and I wonder how much of his wild side is due to nature and how much on nurture. He was always expected to be loud, disobedient, rude, making a mess, while I was expected to be quiet, obedient, polite, t…

Yeah, I agree. I don't understand how some women have guys as friends, I have been hanging out with others in mixed groups of course but I never felt any special connection friendship wise. Men just don't have the same level of empathy.

Wow so she ate the food, felt sick, probably thought something was spoiled, or that her husband didn't do a good job cooking and didn't want to hurt his feelings. But he was purposely hurting her, he might have made this intolerance of hers even worse.

It's not even an unnaturally pretty model, it's a model that happens to tick the most boxes when it comes to the expectations society has at the particular time period and place about appearance. Real beauty transcends the beauty standards. Not to mention heavy photoshop, video editing, professional make up, corsets, professional lighting, and the model knowing how to pose and the exact angles that appeal to the audience the most because, duh, it's her job.

Keeping separate finances and separate friends lowers the chances of suffering if you separate as a couple.

Thank you! I catch myself thinking the same things... I like this mantra! I'm gonna use it. We punish ourselves too much. We scold ourselves because we don't look our best 100% of the time and we scold ourselves after thinking that and not having unlearned those lies yet.

Um yeah, of course it takes less time if you just unzip your pants, do your thing and zip them up again. Men don't pull down their pants and underwear, while simultaneously squatting and trying not to touch the toilet, then look in their bag to take out the tissues or baby wipes that are always necessary because most public bathrooms don't have toilet paper, then put everything back to place, wash their hands, and dry them. Not to mention that women go to the bathroom for period related issues t…

Wth, so the doctors were like "ooooooh yes, it is the known disease guilttripiatis and the patient is also showing symptoms of pityfuckism". Nah, I wouldn't let this man even talk to that woman or be near her.

Hey, I'm so sorry you had such negative experiences. I know how it is like to want to be loved, to want the companionship, the support of a person who wants to be near you and be in a relationship. Sadly, most the times it is not the case, cutting the people you thought were "it" but turns out weren't is the best thing you can do for yourself! You learn, you take what you can from the bad experience and move on.

Yeah, men and even some women are so surprised when you spit a bit of venom. As if you didn't receive it 3x times overs until you can't have it anymore...

Yeah, seems like that is the only aspect where women are equal to men. Gotta go 50-50. Poor guy cannot afford to pay for you on dates, he just spent a salary's worth amount on a new TV, that he didn't need.

I don't really agree with that logic. I think once you break up you should stop all kinds of contact no matter how high value that person is. For the simple reason that if you keep in contact, even just through texts or following them on social media, they are still part of your life, you will still be emotionally attached to them, therefore not able to move forward.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly! I obviously would prefer the first type over the second but I also want to be the one making myself level up.

This! When I said "I cook for both of us, do the dishes and clean. What do you do for me? What do you do to make my life easier or more comfortable? What do I get out of this? Because you clearly gain from me doing those things" And he looked at me with wide eyes and an open mouth like a fish out of the water. He finally found his speech after a while and said that he takes me out for dinner. Once a week maybe if he is not tired and if his bills have not piled up. I told him that as a single gir…

Why don't they just perform pelvic exams to cadavers? Why does it have to be an unconscious woman who did not consent? I mean, it's weird enough when you have to go to the Gynaecologist and be probed, imagine if you woke up and someone was pushing fingers inside you without you know this would happen or consenting to it. I had no idea that this could happen and I feel violated just by reading this. The levels of immorality are through the roof.

No, most men don't want only sex from women. They also want you to clean their house, cook for them for every single meal of the day, do the dishes for every single meal of the day, pick outfits for them cause they suck not only at fashion but on looking presentable too, be there for them to listen when they vent about work/family/friends even though when you do the same they tell you "You worry too much, stop overthinking." And also give them a massage cause they are tired, give them back scrat…

"I'm not rich, but..." so what would be the demands if this guy actually was rich? It disgusts me! I have to say though I laughed so hard at "bonus points if naturally hairless". No woman can be naturally hairless, damn. What do they think we are? We are supposed to be magical beings without any body hair but have a thick mane of hair on our head, eyebrows and eyelashes, no one should have our nudes but we have to be willing to send them to a dude without him asking, because we want to, and also…

"At least". So it's not enough to want to have a kid someday with the right person when you are financially stable, women need to WANT, to crave, to yearn for at least 3 children. As if running after one is easy.
