My wife said the same thing. Her parents dont have the best marraige, but they love each other and have stuck together for over 40 years. Her saying that always made me uneasy, now i know why. She was projecting.

After she left she said she felt like she made a mistake marrying me and felt that way as soon as we got married. I spent 5 years not knowing this and trying to keep the marriage together before she left for another guy. The entire time she gaslit me into thinking the marraige was bad because I wasn't trying hard enough. Love is a delusion, I kept trying because I loved her, and all that time she was planning her exit. As far as when she actually left, she couldn't give me a good reason. Then ev…

My wife was such a good actor in the beginning I fell for her act head over heels, I dont trust my ability to pick a winner. I don't trust woman at all now. I know there are still "good ones" out there but I dont plan on wasting any time looking for them.

I know its entirely different but antidepressents also have a similar affect. If a woman is going to do this stuff they may initiate it 1)after beginning medication, 2)after quitting medication, 3)after switching medications

You are in love with a dead person. The creature who is out there walking around that looks like her is not her. Come to accept that and it gets easier. I made a list of all the horrible things the "look-alike" person did to me, and that helped me separate the true version of my ex wife from the person I fell in love with, who was an act on her part. Then accept that you were tricked. This for me was the hardest part. This part gets easier when you understand this is just part of female nature a…

After we were divorced my credit score shot up past 800 and my car insurance is less than half. I dont "go out to eat" anymore paying for 2 people, so save a ton of money.

I leave the toilet seat up, and park as far away from the door of the grocery store as possible. Basically all these little things that really meant nothing to me but every woman I've been with selfishly complained/demanded I conform to. I'm a simple guy. I'll buy a $1 coffee at a gas station and enjoy it as much as a $5 startbucks. I sleep on a sofa with a sleeping bag. I could get a bed and 12 pillows but i think ive realized tge main differece between men and women is men can forgoe comfort e…

My ex wife did not come back, and for a long time i was wishing she would. But this is insanity. Bear with me... Now 18 months after she left I had a dream that her and I were getting remarried. I woke up in cold sweats because i realized how horrible that would be. If a woman leaves you, you would be a fool to take her back. She is dead to you. A woman does not leave a man she truly loves. I believe there is a small percentage of women out there that do actually love, but the majority just love…

After my ex wife left to get with some other guy, even her mom told me it was like she changed into another person

Women are actors, and I have no intention of being part of any type of theatre again. Not a fan of make believe and drama.

"Healing" means throwing all morals to the wind and getting some strange.

This 100%. If i was the one who lined up another woman, then abandoned my wife by just not coming home from work one day, then string wife along for 7 months before she finds out about other woman, the cut her off cold like shes dead to me and file for divorce months later. If I as a man did that, I'd have her brothers, dad, and my friends coming after me telling me to man up and get my shit straight and stop treating her like garbage. Ex wife did this to me, not ONE person calls her out. I sure…

I fear i have already gone insane. I've accepted shes gone and was ultimately just a waste of years off my life, and probably never loved me. I get to the point i think i have forgiven, and am moving onward, but then somehow im back in that place in my mind. Its hard to explain but when i end up there it can take days or a week to get out of it.

Yeah my ex wife finally texted me a week ago, 16 months after she left and got with another guy and "apologized" about how hurtful the way she went about things must have been. I don't know what her game is there but i threw that apology right back in her face. The past year has been hell for me. If i survive it i will be stronger, smarter, and wiser. I experienced the shitty part of the experience, but i imagine if i survive it i will get the better rewards in the end as I have become another p…

I have pretty severe PTSD that affects my day to day life (not every day, but some days are very hard), and my ex wife basically demanded i open up, be more transparent, and trust her. Stupidly I did. And the more I did the less she liked me. Ultimately that was the reason she said she was leaving when she left was "if she knew how bad my ptsd was before we got married, she wouldn't have married me". That was very hard, i have to live with it every day and there's no magic fix. Then i found out …
