It's all in about what he's saying that gives the info: age: 38, age range 18-26 = I want someone whom I can control. Any woman my own age is smarter than me and intimidating. 2A = I'm afraid of POC and you should be too. I spend all my extra time and money at the gun range and complaining about the shortage of brass. I also want someone to run out on the target range and put new targets up for me every time I go because I can't walk 25 yards without gasping for air. pro life, no kids = I don't …

So is the 80% casual but 20% formal, like, need you to wear the pink camo #hikelife #camelback attire but with Gucci Soko open toe high heels? Or just the Louis Vuitton holsters for the Colt Double Eagles good enough when you take dates to the student center for the free coffee? lol jesus, I guess he didn't put "must know how to cook" on the list because he still lives at home and his parents provide room & board.

"When the boiling point is reached" Ha, like we already don't get murdered, stalked and raped enough that the threat of more murder, stalking and rape is anti-climatic. If life was according to these numb-nuts all us women would have to do is shoot them, lie to police and get the vapors on the stand testifying and we'd get off scott-free because FEMALES. We are so inferior and disgusting, yet so crafty and devious. A riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma!

Might not be updated yet. I run a virtual machine and cannot block followers either. From an admin on another sub: "Hey there! Unfortunately the feature to view and manage followers has been rolled back until further notice, and I cannot give an exact timeline on when it will be available. " (edit for: i looked on Android mobile app under "my profile" and see the followers (generically) but if you click on it the app does nothing.)

genuine enjoyment about the activity, Yep, don't sign up solo for a mudders event, range shooting, paintball or car club if you don't like it. But if you have family*, specifically brothers/cousins in your age group and you can stay for the after party where the socialization is at (maybe you do like classic cars or guns but didn't want to walk in cold turkey to a firing range or a Krav Maga class). *Assuming your family isn't narcissistic trash

When you have men arguing in bad faith/whatabboutism it is to derail you and put you on the defensive scrambling for facts and research. You can try: "Interesting topic, we can discuss it later / let's focus on this" There are some good techniques in the book "When I Say No, I Feel Guilty" by Manuel J. Smith, PhD. Like "fogging". It's not your job to solve men's problems during your lecture about women's issues. It's like arguing with people about any subject; there's always someone that wants t…

Man logic sample from the movie Mystery Men: Blue Raja: All I'm saying is when we split the check three ways the steak-eater picks the pocket of the salad man. Mr. Furious: Well, you should order more! (Janeane Garofalo and her awesome skull bowling ball in the movie)

What really sucks is they're both pre-retirement age (55 husband/50 wife). If she's been at home taking care of the kids, house and hasn't worked or earned a pension and is dependent on his healthcare through work she's going to have a hell of a time. 45-55 is when your health can take a turn for the shitter fast. A divorce at this age is devastating financially. She won't even qualify for Medicare until 65 (15 years). What a dick.

And/or a work mentor. If you work in the same field and have someone that can show you the ropes/build connections/advise it can be a valuable relationship. Unfortunately, this can be misconstrued easily if you have a dopey old fuckwit like this guy.

I argue this in regards to film. A friend of mine was gushing about Black Swan and the empowering nudity and I was like, "Gee, when's the last time anyone gushed about male nudity being empowering in film?" and the most he could say was, "Well, we saw Willem Dafoe's junk in Antichrist!" Sorry bud, male nudity in films is only surprising because they don't have to do it to be seen as serious. In trying to come up with a list of male frontal nudity movies during our discussion we could only come u…

I equate it to those guys who hate gays and say, "I don't want no man to try and have sex with me!" as they scratch their mud-crusted butt with a filter-less Camel bobbing up and down in their crusty sunburned lips as they spew their nonsense. Duderino, nobody wants to have sex with you. Take it from George Takei (Sulu) * *link is safe for work but you probably want headphones (comedy)

I had a long gab session with a gf last night. She always been the underdog in her family while the brother is the chosen one. Long story short after years of manipulation and being taken advantage of she told all of them to suck it and hasn't spoken to any of them. She told me she felt like a sucker for putting up with it. I'll tell you the same thing I told her: It's not your fault that people that know you used that intimate knowledge to manipulate you for their own benefit. They are the scum…

LVMs don't want to have to meet any expectations. Women have to meet their expectations because the only thing in the LVM universe is themselves at the center of their own downward spiral galaxy. "So I am inclined to assume that without previous seduction children cannot find the way to acts of sexual aggression. The foundation of the neurosis would accordingly have been laid in childhood by adults, and the children themselves have transmitted to one another the disposition to suffer later from hysteria." "6'3, gonna show up high and sort of a fat ass but YOU better use your gym membership." Christ, I come to this sub for the humor. It's funnier when I don't hear about it directly from my nieces about how shite the dating scene is. I'm glad I'm married to who I'm married to.

Also, (in the US) Griswold v. Connecticut overturned the ban on contraceptives for married couples (mid 60's). In 1972, the right to contraceptives was extended to unmarried couples. One had to insist on a ring prior to birth control or you could get shipped to a maternity home. This was before abortion was legalized too. And if you were too interested in sex you could be sterilized or ethnic and tricked into sterilization. It's only been 49 years since 1972. Most mom's who had options (money/me…

Always floors me that in high school they don't have a basic finance (stocks, mortgage, checkbook balancing) class and instead of carrying an egg around pretending it's a baby and reading some manky old book like The Red Badge of Courage they don't do a course with assertive training, interpersonal skills and dating/sexual violence... ...but then I remember no one want to fund schools that would teach kids to think as it might disrupt the 1%/status quo etc.

Rare win for today Supreme Court sides with high school cheerleader who cursed online. Justice Clarence Thomas dissented, writing that students like the former cheerleader "who are active in extracurricular programs have a greater potential, by virtue of their participation, to harm those programs." "For example, a profanity-laced screed delivered on social media or at the mall has a much different effect on a football program when done by a regular student than when done by the captain of the f…

I think you've got part of it. There's a societal flux and when people can't "click" into the expected part of the puzzle they get a little lost. The flux is great for former outlier people but the overall formerly privileged average suffers. Take the 50's. White American man utopia. But that had to take into account post WWII MOST of Europe was a mess (loss of manufacturing capabilities eg. USA had no competition), civil rights hadn't happened, women were at home, mass housing for those former …

Just an addition: If you are in real estate / construction and having to go into people's homes, show a house or give quotes try to find out who is going on the walk-through while you're on the phone. ("Will it be just you there or do I need to bring extra (contracts, photos, cool company pens, stickers for kids or someone else there?" or "Is there anything specific do you think your spouse would be interested in that I may be able to bring with me?") I'd bet a couple of dead presidents that the increasing anti-abortion bills are designed to try to turn the tide of declining US population. (increase TFR via restrictions) TFR is Total Fertility Rate. Politicians harp about saving babies but they're really worried about their future Military and cheap labor supply. They can rile up their base about immigrants, keeping American "culture" and standards (*cough* suppressing women with a rhetoric of stay at home and have babies). Everyone Has to Pa…

My lemon square research (horking a few down once they cooled ) regarding this recipe: They're more egg custardy than expected Kinda boring (not as sweet or zingy) I don't know where Betty is getting that canary yellow color like in the picture. I like boring and they're for tea tonight but I'd probably add a lemon syrup or frosting to the top and lemon zest to the filling if I made them again. ;)

Plus, there's other jobs he could do. I get it some of the guys don't like desk duty (booking, security, jail) but it's still a job. He could also go 9-1-1 (operator/dispatch). Most of 'em like field because most of the time they sit behind a business in their patrol car or a park (that they can take home), surf the internet and get free coffee at gas stations until they have to pull people over to make their traffic ticket quota*. It would be interesting to see what would happen just to the clothing industry if women in professional positions (office professional clothing required) pulled the 1 dark pair of slacks and 2 rotating cuffed/collared shirts and a sportscoat until they're threadbare like the guys do.

Yes, we are 50% + of the population but we do not have 50% of the power, wealth or social capital that men do. Yes, yes, yes. (edit for: yes, I agree with you. Our numbers do not equal capital.)

Unfortunately, for some, it's not so simple as refusing to date/marry/have kids. It is also an economic issue too. In the US: "Women in the United States earn, on average, about 85 cents for every dollar men earn. Women are also far more likely than men to live below the poverty line. Of the 165.1 million women nationwide, 12.9% live below the poverty line, compared to 10.6% of the 158.7 million U.S. men. " USA Today Capitalism works because low wage workers keep prices low. Many people have forgotten basic rules of civility. Dale Carnegie tried to teach it in 1936 "How to Win Friends and Influence People" The genial William Lyon Phelps, essayist and professor of literature at Yale, learned this lesson early in life. "When I was eight years old and was spending a weekend visiting my Aunt Libby Linsley." A middle-aged man called one evening, and after a polite skirmish with my aunt, he devoted his attention to me. At that time, I happened to be excited about boats, a…

"what is most interesting is that there is no neediness in desire. Nobody needs anybody. There is no caretaking in desire. Caretaking is mightily loving. It's a powerful anti-aphrodisiac." How do you sustain desire? Yeah, in a nutshell, they want to have sex and a therapist at the same time and pay for neither (pay as in time, commitment and yes, sharing financial burdens - rent mortgage). They think in their heads "I just want a cool chick I can have fun with and dump all my feels on, you know …

On Friday, the mother filed for the emergency pick-up order, which would have authorized law enforcement officials to go the condo and take the child. Lol, gave me a chuckle because of the reference to the lawyer commercials. 2020 Mexico too: "Women make up about 40% of the country's workforce, according to Mexico's Confederation of National Chambers of Commerce. Their absence for one day could cost the country the equivalent of a billion dollars." I've heard the "Asian women treat their men better/low maintenance" line plenty of times and have had more than one co-worker 30-50 year old white guys go to Thailand a wife. All three of them were oddballs, one was outright gross (morbid obesity, boils, dirty) and was never able to land a bride but went every year for a vacation. Some say he's still walks the streets of Bangkok yowling his mating cry "Phom rak khun khrup!"
