Do you approach strangers on the street? For me keeping them around is the easy part but finding them is hard lol. Im too scared to approach strangers on the street, so Im dependent on meeting them through friends and hobbies etc.

The main problem is meeting people I am attracted to. Once I meet them talking isnt the hard part. Most people who complain about dating experience the same. We just live very individual lives and approaching people on the street is not in our culture so youre dependent on meeting people through work and hobbies which severely limits the pool youre fishing in.

lol I sometimes kissed women 15 sec after dancing. Sometimes they just put their arms around you, lean in with their head and its done haha. Just like men, some women are also on the hunt for kissess. But yea, usually its a proces that takes a while. Talking, dancing, kissing for me.

Believe it or not, many women are also insecure lol. Some will show zero signs of attraction out of fear, just like us.

I was really surprised when a friend told me how many women purely act certain ways so they can tell certain stories, like you say. He told me because I had just experienced something like that. I had met with a girl from class a few times, flirted a bit etc. Nothing physical yet. Then suddenly she didnt reply on text for a month, and when classes started again I asked her for lunch, but she said ‘uhh, I think you and I should have a talk‘. From that point on I knew where it was going. In that ‘…

I lose my interest already when I notice a woman letting me chase her for a week. Dont play games if you dont want guys who play games.

I just cant wrap my head around it that people are like this. I know what I want, its not depended on someone manipulating me into feeling certain things through texting. I either want to be with you, or I dont lol

Stop dating highly educated social science women and start dating engineering/ trade (childrens care, teachers, communication workers, dancers etc) women And its not a leftist country. We have had centre right/ right wing governments since the end of the 90s. highly educated people in the cities just tend to be irritatingly woke.

How do you know they just want you for your body? Do you have sex with them and do they drop you afterwards? Also, what are these guys to you? Do you find them initially attractive? Do they have something in common? What are the guys like you initially wouldnt be interested in at this moment?

I have female friends, but not friends. It is really hard to build a strong friendship with a woman, and I honestly feel like its not only on men. I assume it has to do with both being hetereosexual, it just creates unconcious issues the closer you get, or you dont get close at all due to fears on both sides. It takes two really developed people from the opposite sexes to become good friends. Some examples: Good female friend of mine who started treating me like her side boyfriend, that ended in…

I applaud you for being able to handle it. I would be annoyed as shit and probably called her out on her bullshit lol (and thus ruined the mood haha)

Nice. I experienced something similar while on vacation last summer. I was standing in a club just chatting with a friend of mine and suddenly we were surrounded by five girls lol. One of them was obviously into me from the get go, we talked for a bit (quite serious convo about politics lol (but also jokes and teasing)), but then she asked me to go to the dance floor. 5 min later she pressed her mouth on mine and started french kissing me xD. Goes to show a lot more girls than you think are prob…

Big parts of the metoo movement are bullshit in my circles opinion. Me, female friends of mine, my mother, and her female friends agree with that. Like I said, we live in different cultures. You are probably a ‘woke’ person and I am not. In my culture we can discern between sexual assault/ rape and explorative touching.

women arent weak sheep that need protection, they can stand up for themselves. I learned this from my mother who is the most emancipated woman I know. There is a huge difference between touching a woman and sexually assaulting her lol. You obviously cant go straight for the sensitive parts, that is what forcing yourself upon someone means. Building it up with arm touching, moving closer, putting your arm around while watching a film, is okay as long as you give room for refusal of course. I am n…

okay I guess we really do live in different generations and cultures then. There are ten thousand signs someone wants to kiss and there really is most of the times no need for asking. If they dont want to, they will move their head away when you go for it. If that happens you can apologize and ask whats up. Its not sexual assault lol. And no, this isnt just me. I have had serveral women come at me, show the signs, and kiss me. At any time I could have said no, but I was okay with it so I let it …

So you go from casually talking to straight up sex? lol. Kino to me seems like the natural intermediate step. First you talk, flirt, get closer together, start connecting body parts, start touching like putting an arm around, move closer, kiss. In between this you keep talking of course and the time in between could vary depending on the context. Is this a generational difference? I really honestly am super surprised by your opinion because none of my friends, men and women, do not do kino.

To me it honestly sounds very weird to ask consent to put an arm around someone. Putting an arm around your date while sitting on a bench looking at the sky seems super normal to me lol. If it were the case that they didnt like that, they could say that and then you just pull back your arm.

hm I think we live in different cultures then. In my friend circles its quite normal to touch each other. I even have some male friends I first thought were gay because they were all over me, but I can guarentee you they are straight. I wasnt really talking about putting my arm around a stranger on the street, more so the girl ive been dating. I honestly dont understand the comments here. It seems physicality is perceived as wrong, yet to me it is a huge part of the connection I have with people…

I would never do that, and if a woman I was on a date with would accept that behaviour I would not like that. She should have not let him kiss her, and he shouldn’t have tried in the first place. Just a dick to both you and your date. I think I would stop him and then tell/ explain to my date I do not like that kind of behaviour.

There is a big difference between asking “How do you think the data is going?” (which is a very mechanical and usually out of context question) and asking “Are you feeling okay? I notice you look a bit closed off suddenly?” ;) Mark Manson’s work is really about creating good relationships, not quick flings. So yes you might come across women who dont like it when youre honest, but do you want those women yourself? People (and me) on this sub often make it much too complicated with all kinds of r…

I think you did great. Remember that the key of Manson’s point here is that by being your honest open self you may scare some people away because you dont align, and that that is okay. The relationship wouldnt be fun anyway if one or both of you couldnt handle the others’ values. In fact, by being this honest self that you were you might as well have escalated it quickly if the girl had been more aligned with you. Its just bad luck she wasnt, not on you. The only thing I advice you to do next ti…

I am like george. I am fascinated by the world, openly discuss a wide variety of topics, I dance latin dances and ballroom, I sail, I surf, I do skiing, I work, I go to university, I am passionate about music, I dress well, I look fit, like being witb my friends, people like being with me, and yet its hard for me to find someone. What you say is true, you need to have your own life and be happy with yourself, but somehow its not everything. I can only guess/ assume what it is, but I think its do…

ah sorry, to me it seemed like you meant that I have robotic dialogue and that you were thus attacking me, hence my remarks on you being insecure because you would be if you were attacking me like that ;p. I mean, look at this thread lol, like you say its rediculous so I guess thats why Inwas quick to interpret your reply as part of that nonsense, but I take what I said back now that I know how you meant it. So yes, I completely agree with what you said :)

what robotic dialogue? Who are you kidding? Youre not even triggering me its just funny. Here you are, trying to make me feel bad because I posted something on a seduction forum you dont like. How much more can you show you are insecure as fuck than by what you are doing now lol.

"I have had sooo many situations of beautiful girls telling me: I hateyou but I want to fuck you so bad. I hate you but I love your dick. You're a bad person, but you make me so horny, I cannot resist you." I do not want women like this, so I also don't use your strategy. For me personally the best realisation was that I didnt have to do anything to get girls. It hurts to say this because it sounds so cliche but being honest about what you want (her) and thus being yourself seems to better way fo…

I completely agree with your point but I wouldnt phrase it ‘make yourself the sickest person’ or refer to how its good to become confident. I would phrase it as be the sickest person you can be. Confidence is not something you become so much, but something you are. Start to belief you are enough, you are cool, and that there is nothing you must do except do what you like doing, and express what you feel. Being honest is being confident!

is this actually true or just something we tell ourselves here? Cant imagine hot women arent hit on because they are too hot lol. It sounds illogical. Yes it might be scarier but at the same time they're really hot so there should also be wider motivation in the male group so more chance at least someone approaches them.

Okay Mark Manson worked. I asked if she actually wanted to and that if would be fine if she didnt, and she replied and now we suddenly have a date lol.

alternatively you can still walk up to her with two and say the machine gave you two, she’ll know your bullshitting of course but with a cheeky smile it could very much work. Its humour so there is a very small chance she’ll flat out wave you off.

I understand what you mean but belief me low self worth and anxiety can go a long way in making you belief no one in the world likes you. I. my experience I in fact think too much, and often assume people dont like me while the opposite is true

Yea I was going for something serious as I like her personality quite a lot apart from this, which I find annoying. And yes maybe she indeed too fickle

Yes lol thats exactly what I was thinking. Just weird cause she did seem into me. Who knows what her reasons are, maybe she is just super insecure and really doesnt know what she wants or whats good for her just like us guys can be
