Omg, the part about losing your mom and not growing up age appropriately hits so very close to home to me. I lost my mom at 11 and now at 25 , I can see how scared I am of growing up and being an adult

I think using them is cruel and extremely unkind bc it is in a way taking advantage of someone's 'weaknesses' and I don't want that negative energy and guilty conscious to haunt me in my life. I also think that the type of HVM that I am attracted to would not be attracted to women who are so cavalier about using someone. Better to save myself for Mr.Right

You brought up something that I struggle with, I have the all or nothing mindset then I just throw in the towel. Whenever I start with something slowly, I feel like I am being lazy and that I am not as 'motivated' or 'disciplined' and I guess I really am not. I've lost and gained tons of weight in the past, and at this point I know that my mindset is the issue. I actually start my first day of the part time job today haha , what do you use to document your activities? Thank you so so much for yo…

100%, I feel like I don't do what I know I need to do bc I use being motherless as a free pass. I love your viewpoint, I need to get out of my own head. I say I take accountability and responsibility but my actions don't necessarily showcase that. You were not insensitive at all, thank you so much for taking the time to reply.

Thank you so much for your reply What do you mean by the 'Me' movement ? I didn't mean to come across as blaming other women for having their mothers, but I think it's more like envy from my side that my life turned out this way and you're absolutely right, everyone has issues, I grew up extremely privileged and the only thing missing from my life is my mom, sometimes I forget that just because someone has their mom , it doesn't mean that their life is perfect. I also can't do keto because I hav…

Where I am from yes, by not having boundaries with men, by accepting 'gifts' from men, talking flirtatiously and giving out your number easily. Also, casually dating instead of being serious about marriage. Also posting explicit attention seeking pictures.

I personally believe with serious matters like marriage it's either a hell yes or a hell no... the biggest red flag was how he didn't want to marry you at first but now you're engaged, I would be careful, wish you all the best

My mom was extremely close to my grandparents so we would have all the family together my grandparents house and that makes me feel so warm since both my mom and grandfather has since passed

I don't know what to say...I wish you all the best in this situation. I'm not married yet but this is honestly a deal breaker for me. I see absolutely no reason for men and women to have friends of the opposite gender once they're married. It just adds unnecessary suspicions and blurred lines

I'm 23 .... I used to never think about kids..it's not that I didn't want them but it wasn't something I cared for but now my heart swells when I see kids..especially when seeing a father with his kids.... I think these things are normal to happen because the female body was meant to carry a child

It's not just in the USA, I live in the Middle -East and a lot of Arab men are starting to be like that due to westernization...some guys think that it makes them more attractive I think...

Yes I am happy to be given the gift of life because I believe god makes no mistakes and this is the life he had ordained for me. Can you imagine him being a good father? I know that for some men, fatherhood changes them and they decide to instantly be mature and responsible. My mom's side of the family were supportive but I have to believe that nobody will love and care for a child as much as their own parents...people have their own lives to lead and they get consumed by it, also a child will a…

Hello, I'm going to be honest here...if you bring in kids to this mess of a relationship , you would be causing them unnecessary suffering and trauma... one also has to take into account all options but god forbid if something happens to you , then he'll be their sole care taker. I'm speaking from experience...my mom married my irresponsible father then she passed away when I was 11...being a parentified child was absolutely disgusting that I had to seek therapy for as an adult

Salaaam <3 I saw that you were a fellow Arab, I'm sorry for your situation...it's sad but a lot of Arab families are incredibly toxic and they carry so much generational trauma and baggage...I've noticed this pattern in my own family and I live in an Arab country too. Feel free to send me a dm, I love meeting other RPW of similar background

My family isn't traditional unfortunately, so they don't have the concept of arranging meetups with guys they think I'd be suited for but I'd be upfront about telling the guy that I'm only planning to work till I get married and that I want to be a traditional housewife one day. I don't want to date behind my familys back , I want to be courted and dating apps where I'm from have such a bad reputation. My desperation comes from the fact that I've never been with anyone before , how I have to cur…

yea that's my main worry, I am literally starting from zero with this whole finding a husband thing, I have never been with anyone and I don't have a female role model figure, so there's so much to learn and I feel like my weekdays are all spent at work when I don't even care to have a career

The closer job would be like a 30 minute commute both ways, my current job allows me to work from home alot of the day but the timings are 9-6 so that's 9 hours spent and it deals with sales so there's a lot of stress

Thank you ! I meant laser hair removal and skin whitening for my hyperpigmentation , I do the rest by myself. Finding a husband is a priority right now because I feel like the time is slipping by and I've never been with anyone before.

Thank you for your reply :) I guess I should've mentioned that by beauty treatments is getting laser hair removal and skin whitening for the dark areas in my body so it's not going to be a long term thing . I don't get my hair or nails done at the salon, but I like to buy good non toxic skin care and hair care products because they help me look better without makeup like you mentioned investing in them would cut down costs on a long term , I'm pretty frugal haha I'm from the Middle East so a lot…

Yesss that is so true, when I look back over the conversations there were so many instances where he shared something personal and I should've taken that as a cue to ask him more. He does seem interested when talking to me and last time wasn't as bad as the first as I had asked him questions where I remembered details he mentioned in the earlier meetings. At one point he was like that's a good question so I hope he sees that I'm actually trying to listen to him </3 Tomorrow, I'll let him speak a…

Thank you ! His money and his status are definitely very attractive because I would like to be a SAHM and take of my family but it's like I feel like I'm subconsciously self destructing just so that I don't have to deal with the situation. I just never thought I'd meet someone like him. I will write down my questions and have like a thing to remind me to STFU and listen to him.

Thank you ! Yea I do suffer from self-esteem issues, I've never put myself out there for a guy and he's the first guy I've seriously been interested in. I 'm just so intimidated because he's just what I wanted and I never thought I'd find someone who I shared so many things in common (I have some uncommon interests). I feel like god answered my prayer because I met him soon after which kind of freaks me out because I wasn't ready but I feel like I'll never be ready to be vulnerable with a guy wh…
