[ Removed by moderator ]That could not be further from the truth. You definitely have to “shop” around but I’ve had three therapists which two retired and now I’ve been with mine for a couple of years. They all took me to different places but one thing was for sure, they were honest and didn’t beat around the bush. It’s not that therapy doesn’t work, it’s the individual has to take responsibility for the reason they are there and face the ugly truth and put the work in. | /r/seduction | 12/08/26 02:20 AM
[ Removed by moderator ]It sounds like you’re quite cynical and think you know the world around you better than you do. I have friends but there are things they can’t help me with. A good therapist doesn’t linger in making you feel good, they push to see the root of the issue which is unpleasant. Your friend regardless of how awesome you think he/she is will place their life experience and guide as to how they know it should go or judge as to how it should be. I prefer neutral sources where they don’t care about the ou… | /r/seduction | 11/08/26 05:09 PM
[ Removed by moderator ]I think most things are bullshit if you truly believe them. Everyone has an opinion but it doesn’t mean much until you find out if it is. Personally I’ve hit my biggest strides because of it, mostly in the sense that I have to talk to a person who is going to see me with all of my flaws and they are neutral. It’s not pleasant, it’s hard and quite annoying if you’re truly doing it for the right reasons. The hard part is staying honest and not hiding behind victim mentality, it’s so easy to do but… | /r/seduction | 10/08/26 09:46 PM
[ Removed by moderator ]Therapy comes with responsibility though. The first step is being as honest as possible which people have an issue with. I asked my therapist who’s quite good at what he does what the biggest hurdle people have. His answer was “people spend a lot more time trying to be seen as good people instead of letting their therapist know exactly who they really are”. We all look for distractions to justify our insecurities, but the longer those bad habits prevail the more they become our reality. I’m not … | /r/seduction | 10/08/26 05:25 PM
Tall black dude struggling with dating anxiety, rejection sensitivity, and feeling behind. How do I rebuild? You’re doing what most of us do, it’s easier to blame it on ourselves as being the culprit. Failure sucks but it must happen. I think you’re secluding yourself in regular life which makes you feel ugly when you get a “no” or an inclination of one because it’s a especial occasion in your head instead of just a conversation. | /r/seduction | 08/08/26 07:40 PM
I hooked up with 2 girls in one week. Both had boyfriends. What the hell is dating now?So you knew the girl had a boyfriend in the first story and you still continued, am I reading that wrong? | /r/seduction | 07/08/26 01:47 AM
Asked for her number, she says "I got a boyfriend but we can be friends" then gave me her number anywayThis is how people get shot, don’t do it dude. | /r/seduction | 01/08/26 06:48 AM
A girl invited me to her house for a movie nightYou could just have a good time, you know? You’re terrified because it matters to you so you’re looking for excuses to go back where you were. Comfortably uncomfortable. | /r/seduction | 11/07/26 04:25 AM
How do you know if she’s interested? It sounds like she had to answer those questions. I’d say start by making the conversation somewhat interesting. | /r/seduction | 05/05/26 11:33 PM
Went up to a girl for the first timeIt’s completely normal what happened. Women sometimes tell you that so you slow it down and don’t f it up. She may be asking you to chess club so a stuffy date doesn’t happen and she sees you loose and somewhat comfortable without expectations. She could also be nervous herself or she is straight up interested in a friendship. All of those scenarios are possible but for sure treat it as if you’re just hanging out with a friend who happens to be attractive. Good luck to you. | /r/seduction | 28/04/26 11:16 PM
For the guys with 100+ bodycount, what’s the 1 girl you can’t forget? Is over 100 the goal? What a weird metric lol. I’m not saying I’ve had a 100 but enough to know after 25 it’s almost like a game. The ones that stick out are the unapologetic women, they call or text you and they don’t waste much time. | /r/seduction | 21/04/26 11:59 AM
what's everyone's body count here?41 around 35 to 40, 90 percent of them in my 20’s. | /r/seduction | 02/04/26 01:48 AM
Slept with 65 girls last year.. here’s what I learnedSo you enjoy a pointless endeavor? I’ve been down that rabbit hole and it’s essentially just an addiction some get to indulge in. It is exhausting and quite pointless, it’s that thing that never ends. You can have your fun but chasing that will never satisfy you nor will it get you prepared for what’s coming next. | /r/seduction | 07/02/26 02:29 AM
