It's my bone structure and the way face and body is shaped. Like I had a young, cute look when I was younger. But now I have a mature look but the mature look does not suit me at all. I just a bit haggard. Like the facial fat is gone but there is no bone structure there so my face looks empty and a bit haggard because the skin has no bones to rest on. It's like my whole face was made of fat before. I have genuinely never seen anyone with my bone structure- I think I am kind of weird looking tbh …

It's not his lack of experience that's the problem. The problem is that men create attraction in women. They do that with their behaviour and the words they say. This guy didn't just not create attraction, he actually took it away. I am attracted to dominance, confidence, assertiveness etc. The moment this guy started simping for me, he gave me all of the power and it felt like I was in charge and it was a turn off. I'm never attracted to men when I first meet them. It's the things they say or d…

I haven't replied yet and hes sent another text now aaaaahhh!! So I will apologise for replying late and then I have decided I will explain that I was thrown off and put off by the way he is talking and acting. I will do it in a way that is nice and leaves the door open for more while also explaining that I am really not in to the simping. I also think that's the moral thing to do because its honest and now he knows not to simp for the next woman which will actually help him.

Yeah I am trying to change him, you're right. He is 28 but has zero experience with women. I think that's what I will do, thanks! Oh I genuinely wouldn't be bothered in the slightest if he was seeing other people. I think my biggest concern is that if we did have sex, the sex wouldn't be good because I'm not thattt in to him and I'm scared I would then get a reputation for being bad at sex. Also I think my body is pretty ugly (genetically) and I'm worried that he'll think my naked body is ugly a…

This is a summary of the research paper and it's full of gems about how to look younger including the weight thing: The Twin Study: Factors that accelerate facial aging. You have to pay to access the actual research paper but I did check it to see if it was legit through...less legal ways...and it is legit.

Oh wow that's cool, congrats for finding someone! Is he an alpha dominant type or more beta? Do you look younger than your age? Are you very attractive? I'm sorry about your miscarriages :( I hope you guys get to have the kids you want in the end. Miscarriages are very common at any age so don't lose hope.

I think everything I said regarding the wall is relevant. As it says in that post, I am unable to attract the same caliber of man I was able to attract at 22 - 25. I am 28 and this guy isn't perfect but hes not a complete lost cause so I think its relevant that I mentioned the wall because it means I ought to consider this guy instead of straight up rejecting him.

Tbh with you, going by my family, we have very slim faces and gain weight in our bodies so I don't think this is an option for me. When I gain a little weight now it tends to go to my back, belly, ass and thighs. Idk I'm confused because I did get really upset about the changes in my appearance at 26 and 27 but I've started to find my appearance ok again now at 28 but men disagree. I think it's just my loss of youth and cuteness that has made me lose my edge because that's what made men really l…

I mentioned I am post wall because being post wall is relevant. If I was pre-wall, I could reject men who aren't skilled at talking to women. As a post wall woman, I've read that I should lower my standards and be open minded with the types of men I choose. So it is relevant. It's not like I completely dislike him. I'm on the fence. I find him kind of physically attractive and his personality is nice, fun and easy going. It's just the beta simp behaviour towards me which was a turn off. It's not…

Problem is, I think I want to keep him as an option because I am post wall and its not like hes all bad like I feel some physical attraction towards him and he has a nice, fun, easy to get along with personality. It's just the beta simp behaviour is a real turn off. But I do want to hit him over the head with a hammer because he has so much potential- he just doesn't know what he doesn't know. The BURNING desire isn't there but some say women can get a slow burn and slowly fall for guys so maybe…

Possibly. We've only met 2 times before this time and we only spoke briefly the other 2 times. I think I made this post because I'm confused. Like I think I am physically attracted to him for his looks and because he is nice and easy to get along with but I'm not romantically attracted to him because of his beta simp behaviour towards me. So it's not like I'm fully not feeling it. I'm not sure what I'm feeling. Either I want him as a fwb while I look for someone better but then I don't think tha…

How old was he? Was he a single dad? Were you a single mum? And do you have kids together? Asking because I've noticed women in their 30s either 1) date younger 2) date an older man and don't have kids with him 3) date a similar age/slightly older single dad and create a blended family.

Theres actually a study on this which says that under the age of 40, women look better and younger when they weigh less. But over 40, women look younger when they are a bit overweight. So you are spot on that at 45, being a bit overweight is to your advantage. Looking at my face and body, I think I am better off as I am. The thing is, I personally don't think I look that bad. Like yes from my post history I have been very upset about my appearance but I've kind of got used to it now and I even t…

I know 28 is early but it does happen. So at 18 - 25 I was hit on all the time. At 26 - 27, I wasn't hit on at all BUT when I approached men first they were often very happy to speak to me and their eyes often lit up. Since about halfway through my 27th year, men are generally irritated or annoyed when I go up to talk to them. And tbh with you, my appearance hasn't changed that much- it's just aging. Like I'm the same weight as before. No car accident (lol). I've just been rapidly losing facial …

You might be right there. I think my problem is I would struggle to respect a man who just throws himself at women like that. Like if he did a basic Google search about how to talk to women, he would know not to act like that around women. But he just threw himself at me. And that made me lose respect for him even though he had potential. Tbf that is true. He could get better with time. But I just can't get over how cluelessly he acted like he just failed basic social rules imo. He actually seem…

When I look in the mirror or at photos of myself, I don't think I look old or bad. I do look late 20s though. Whereas up to the age of 25 I looked mid 20s. And at 26 - 27, I kind of looked in between. But mens reaction to me has COMPLETELY changed. At 25 I was hit on all the time. At 26 - 27, I wasn't hit on but when I approached men first their eyes often lit up and I could tell they were really nice to me. That's amazing that you found someone, especially back in the past where there was more of a stigma around being single. Yeah times have definitely changed and people are marrying much later now. I know it's quite normal for someone of my generation to be single at my age like I know people won't question what is wrong with me. I think my main concern is that men are much more attracted to women younger than me like 18 - 25 year olds will always win the physical attraction thing and I am years b…

I completely agree that it's all possible with hard work. My main concern is my age and aging in general because I am getting my life together at such a late age. But I don't own a time machine so I'm just going to have to get on with it and hope for the best. But I know I can at least achieve the nun mode goals for sure.

Omg yay! I'm glad you worked it all out in the end. And its encouraging to hear a success story that is similar to the beginning of mine. How old were you and your husband when you met each other? I know I am definitely late to the party getting my life together at 27/28 but better late than never I guess. Not true- hot women can have male friends. I'm not saying she should hold on to men who aren't good. I'm saying she should find some new male platonic friends. Because rn she can't even hold a conversation with a man and she doesn't know how to be friends with men. If you can't even hold a conversation with a man or be friends with a man, how on earth are you going to be able to have a relationship with one? Beautiful women can also have a high body count. Good looking = hot. I'm not saying shes…

That's your perspective as a man. But you are one man. I am a woman who has been all levels of attractiveness and I've gone through periods of being approached all the time and through periods of never being approached at all. I also know a lot of women of different levels of attractiveness who have very different experiences of being approached. And the general trend is, the hotter the woman, the more she is approached. Hot women are approached all the time. Hot women are approached literally e…

No worries! And trust me the advice works. I used to be really hot but had no social skills and didn't know how to talk with men- all I got was sex. Then I learned social skills and got a killer personality and had male friends and LOADS of men had a crush on me and wanted a relationship- it was a really weird turnaround. The women who told me that a relationship is a best friend you have sex with were women who were successful with relationships. Also in my friendship group, the women with good…

It actually means a lot. Ask ugly women and older women how often they get approached- the answer is usually never. If a genuinely hot woman doesn't get approached, then she probably has really closed off body language (resting bitch face, avoids eye contact, looks depressed or uncomfortable) or she lives in a location where women never get approached (not many locations are like this though). Trust me I have been hot, average and ugly. When I was hot, I was approached all the time. When I was a…

This is your problem. You definitely need to work on this. A relationship is a best friend you have sex with. Right now, all you have to offer men is sex. But you are only having sex about 5% of the time you are in a relationship. The rest of the time, you need to be a best friend to your partner. You need to work out how to be platonic friends with men and then you will be able to have a relationship with men. I suggest you find some new hobbies and interests that both men and women like. Seein…

I disagree with a lot of these replies. OP, if you are getting approached by a lot of men then you are hot. I know this because back when I was young and hot, I was approached by men all the time. My less attractive friends were never/rarely approached. Now that I am older and uglier, I am never approached. So you are physically beautiful. That means your problem is your personality. For sex, men want a hot woman. For a relationship, men want a woman with a good personality (and they often want …

So a lot of those festivals are massive events people from all over the country pay to get in to and you basically pay the money to go to it if you are a big fan of the artists playing. The only one that isn't like that is the pride festival which is more casual and you just turn up to. Bristol has loads of mini casual events just like pride all through the year that you just turn up to and its a more relaxed vibe. Not like a big festival where you essentially stand in a massive crowd full of fa…

It does have activities. It has: eating, drinking, bars, clubs, arcade games and going to certain places of natural beauty a few hours away on the weekend for hiking and water sports. And I think I would struggle to date someone with just these types of activities. But the other city has loads of really unusual quirky activities and daytime festivals and pop up events all throughout the year and the city and surrounding area is teeming with a huge amount of fun and unusual things to do. So there…

It honestly doesn't have that much to offer in terms of good dating activities that would help me play to my strengths in dating. Like if it was just me being alone or hanging out with female friends, theres loads to do in that city. But dating specifically for me in particular, I think I'd really struggle. But I'm just not good at dating like I'm not someone who can sit and talk to another person for hours and hours on end. I'm better at doing activities with other people and bonding through ce…

My limited experience of dating in the early stages has been that I am way way better at conversation and being fun when the location is right which for me is usually when there are unusual quirky passive type of activities to do or stuff like daytime festivals which is what city 2 has a lot of. I'm way worse at dating when it's just food, drink, arcade games, walking about and sports which is what city 1 only has really. Obviously once we get to know each other, it doesn't matter anymore. Amazing! Maybe there are a lot of us late bloomers out there and it's just not talked about. Oh yeah I have 100% experienced that. That's good. Tbh I had that gut feeling last night but now I'm not even sure it's there anymore. Basically I'm not in a clear headspace rn and I really think I just have to move somewhere and then go from there. I really like this plan. I think I might do this. Tbh I'm starting to realise since making this post that I would rather just pick the city that I settle down in. But I've also realised, I don't think I want to settle down in city 2 and I think that's why I was hesitant to go there in the first place. So I'm generally stuck in what city to move to at all at this rate. Oh no that sucks. I definitely relate to that. How old are you? Because if you are younger than me, maybe you could do a bit of moving about and trying things out. I really wish I had done this when I was younger instead of wasting time sigh. I do think it's more complicated the older we get. So I can get good jobs in any of the cities I've been looking at. I'm not sure where I would like to live long term yet so I feel like I might just have to take a plunge and pick somewhere and pray it works out. I'm not close to my family so I consider my close friends my family and they live in Nottingham. That sounds horrifying. I need to avoid this fate and men who end up doing "spiritual searches." I will try to settle down and focus on wholesome hobbies and a wholesome life, not the partying thing. I know a couple of 30 year old asian women who love drum and bass music and got with some 30-something year old guys who are in to that and they are settled down but they still go to raves together as a couple or with good friends. All the other party women I know are in relationships they found in …

That's true. Ok I will focus a huge amount on the stuff outside of partying like wholesome hobbies and interests. I am very inexperienced and behind my age with everything for a long list of reasons so I'm trying to catch up now. I basically have the life experience of a 23 year old who has never dated or had a relationship. I hope there are some late bloomer people out there like me who want to settle down as well.

I'm currently unemployed so I need to hurry up and pick somewhere- can't afford to visit at the moment. I was thinking maybe pick somewhere now and then choose the city I settle down in later so I'm not wasting time being unemployed but it would also save a lot of time if I chose one now. Every time I go to do job applications I'm like "aaaahhhh which city" because I know I could get a job in any of them. I'm starting to think that. I have read the theory but ages ago, so I will check it out again. Well what I was saying is, you said that masculine men and feminine women would have settled down by now but I'm saying maybe some of them haven't because they are still out partying. Obviously they won't be doing it forever but at 28 it seems possible. You have completely misinterpreted what I have said there. I like red pill because some of it is based in science. Like how men are attracted to youth, fertility and femininity and women are attracted to dominance, status, masculinity etc. So I do believe in some of it. So when I posted here, people rightly understood that 28 is a very late age to be searching for a partner. Whereas when I posted in another sub a while back they said things like "age is just a number" which wasn't helpful. Its like people don't want to acknowledge reality when its unple…

I looked this up online and apparently with making big decisions we should pay attention to both our brains and our hearts/guts. Because our brains are logical obviously. But our heart/gut lets us know information our subconscious has picked up so maybe my subconscious is trying to tell me something I haven't conciously registered. But I don't know. I'd be open to staying in city 1 if I found someone there I think? So I wouldn't necessarily have to move the relationship. But I think I would find it more difficult to find someone there due to the lack of dating type activities to do. And more friendships leads to a better social life which leads to more dating options. So I'd have a wider pool of people to mix with in theory. Whereas in city 2 I might be closing myself off to opportunities by going straight there. Obviously the danger is that…
