I had braces as an adult (so my info is not outdated) and my orthodontist specifically said to use spinning brushes (like Oral B) rather than oscillating brushes (like Sonicare). The spinning motion is better for the gums; apparently the sawing back-and-forth of the oscillating brushes can cause/aggravate gum recession.

Same. My ex washed my wool sweater in hot water and dried it to a bone. When I complained that it was Barbie-sized, he flipped his shit on me and said it was completely my fault for putting it in the hamper. He decided that only clothing that could be washed "however" belonged in the hamper. (So, any article of clothing whose care required any modicum of thought couldn't go in there.) I ended up having to hide dirty clothes so he wouldn't ruin them.

Very interesting point about single-motherhood. My experience as a childfree woman is that single fathers hide their parental status, then throw their kids at me like ballistic missiles as soon as possible. I cannot tell you how many first or second dates I went on that were set up to be family outings with the guy's brood in tow. I learned to stop accepting date ideas that were "family friendly" like zoos, fairs, and festivals because it was so often a trap. My picture could have been on a WANT…
