The money issue is very bad. I cant afford what the court has ordered. I am losing money every day. Just to pay her basics puts me under for the month. The house the cars all the bills just as if I was living there. Only difference is that I owe her max child support on top and I have to afford where I live. They just threw a whole new adult to pay for and support that I cant afford.

Thank you so much. It was hard to type and offer but I agree. I know if I was offered someone to talk to I would jump at the chance. It feels scary and uncomfortable, but I wish someone would offer it to me. Im sad and alone and scared.

Man, your story gives me a little hope in all this. I’m in a very similar situation, long marriage 17 years, wife refuses to work, she did work during Covid and now she’s sitting in the marital home with the kids while I pay for everything (mortgage, bills, cars, even extra child support on top). She even made a last-minute allegation of “violence” that was supposedly from six months before she filed for divorce, but only called it in after serving me the papers. Now, temporary orders have me ou…

Thats a GREAT question. At that time I didnt yet. It was about 2 weeks after I was served my divorce decree, we went to mediation and I had no idea what was going on (my fault) but ended up paying a lot more than I can afford. (I was told many times that the MSA was VERY temporary) now I am stuck losing thousands a month and I have no where to get the money.

Thank you. That's disturbing. Is there anyway I can prevent this. I have agreed to sign and move forward. I cannot take this any longer. I just want it to stop. Truly at this point I just want to be left alone. Do I have anything I can do to make this all stop.

Unfortunatly I signed a very one sided MSA that I am living under. I pay the house she is living in (Martail Home) and all the bills by paying her Full Child support 2760. I pay for the cars, the insurance, everyhting. She does not work. She is able to work. I am paying 100% of everything including her lawyer. How much longer can this keep going? I cannot afford this.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post and for any advice you can offer. I’m really struggling to keep up financially and emotionally with everything that’s happening right now. What I need most is practical, step-by-step guidance on how to survive this, especially when it comes to: How to protect myself financially while the divorce is still ongoing What immediate steps I can take to stop the financial bleeding (budgeting, legal actions, etc.) How to deal with the court expecting me to p…
