I have a sister, it hasn't helped me.

Most women I know have a lot of options. Why would she go for someone who meets her standards, when she has someone who surpasses them in her dms. Anyway I don't know much of anything, all I know is what I've tried so far hasn't worked. I was under the impression I met most peoples standards but nowadays I'm not so sure anymore

Yeah that's true, however this isn't a 1 player game. If you lose to the competition you don't achieve anything. I don't compare myself to others, but the girls I approach sure do

I actually wish I had realised earlier that it is a competition and it is a race. I fell for the advice that you can just take it easy and wait for the right time. Falling behind has been really detrimental for me and is now making this really hard for me. Wish I was pushed to pursue all this ealier

I really have no idea how you extrapolate any of this. I just made fun of your awful phrasing, not everything is super deep.

Is saying "wtf" an expression of mad rage? News to me

Wtf are you talking about mate? I hope these things at least sound smart in your head.

What if no girls return the smile? I've gone up and talked to them anyway with no success. But I've never had someone smile back to me

There are no objective measures for good and bad. It's genuinely possible to be the best person in the world depending on your criteria

I find it harder to approach a girl in a hobby I'm doing (e.g. salsa) cause it feels like I'm there to dance salsa and I don't want to ruin that, also good chance I'll see them again.

Only way for me to adopt that mindset would be a fake till you make it mindset or pure delusion. I think I would make a good partner, but women seem to disagree.

I started salsa, I've been to 3 sessions, but it feels inappropriate for me flirt with them during the lesson or ask them what they're doing later. Guess I'm just wired wrong, will take a lot of effort to change. At least the lessons are fun

If this is supposed to make me feel bad, well done I suppose

I'll try that, thanks

Fair enough, its just something I struggled with before and managed recently so I though it was worth mentioning. Do you think its worth chatting to the girls in salsa while we practice or should I wait till the lesson is over? I know its sounds weird, but I don't want to chat and miss something lol, but then when the class is over it feels awkward to talk to them, since their dancing with someone else. (just how to the rotation system works)

Concerning the book interaction I wasn't attracted to her, I just wanted to see if I could chat to her. I also was genuinely curious about the book.

I dress well and workout, girls have only rejected me so far

That sounds really good! Anytime I go clubbing girls want nothing to do with me, even though I just go there to have fun with my friends and I really do enjoy myself. When I approach them, even if they were giving me eye contact earlier, they do their best to avoid me and look away from me.

Could be right, but it feels very demoralising. Like I'm flailing in the dark with no indication if what I'm doing is good or bad, or if I'm going about it the right way. Still I will persevere

I had small success off the bat. I might not have got what I wanted instantly, but I got indications I was making progress.

Not him, but I got confidence in other things by succeeding and proving my limiting beliefs are false. Since I've experienced no success with women, it's hard to feel confident

Have you asked her about it?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
