You need to build a citadel in your mind. From here your strength is gathered and restored. From here you sally out to do battle with whatever else is going on. Here you allow the emotional storms to rage against the walls. More simply when she shows anger, you show happiness. When she shows pissiness, you show amusement. It's not just opposites but it is you showing virtue in the face of whatever else is going on. It's the difference between being angry and feeling anger. One is revenge the oth…

Ok. I had my ass kicked a little and righty so. Normally i am not the Drill Sergeant type here but since no one else is going to do it I will. First. WHAT. THE ACTUAL. FUCK. Am I really reading some of these responses from the veterans? Really? If man card wasn't such a gay term I'd be asking for them all to be turned in. Maybe even pink flair next to all the names. Dude listen. You wrote the biggest covert contract of them all and kept it. You took the pussy off the pedestal but not before you …

I am human what can I say. My cup filled up and I had a moment of weakness. Thanks for that.

Seneca as well. He said: Our anger invariably lasts longer than the damage done to us.” What fools we are, therefore, when we allow our tranquility to be disrupted by minor things. The thing we must not forget though is that the Stoics considered transgressions to be incidental or could be. What they never considered is that this was in a persons' nature. AWALT. This is way our anger is very much closer to revenge, or the desire for it. It's hard to cultivate a Stoic response and attitude when t…

Right. Ok. So indulge me a second. Is anger justified or not? We can't have it both ways. we can't say on one hand that anger is justified and then say get over it. Someone said that it hurts a man sense of justice. I'd could agree to this, because it fits our notion of the battlefield where justice was given out swiftly and fairly...well maybe not so fairly but it was swift and accurate. No equivocation. But is it justice or revenge we are looking for? It may be a small thing but justifying it …

Yes. This I understand. The hard part is when, after a time, the woman does not follow along. Sometimes leadership isn't the only solution. You can only lead so far. I haven't reached that point yet, but the process demands I consider it.

Again, the anger stage will get less intense, but it should not go away. hmmm.. interesting perspective. This bears thought.

I ask these things more as introspection. No need to answer. We each answer differently but I do this to challenge perceptions. No offense meant. I haven't quite figured out how to let this go yet. Maybe it's always there and you just learn to hide it. This is the state of things right now. It is not so terrible. You know this because you are already living through it. So why do so angry? Why let it control you?

Like others I spent a lot of time here. I practice martial arts heavily...and I mean like 3-4 hours a day. My focus is very self defense and rooted in old traditions...meaning the method of training. Now what I mean here is that there is a lot of introspection. I spend a fair amount of time considering my motivations, my demeanor,...and things like if I can break this man's arm so easily how then can I prevent the fight at all? Fact is you need to get passed the anger fast. Otherwise it'll remai…

You're aren't the first one, and you won't be the last. Get over it. Yeah. You're whining, you're angry. get over it. And I mean now. Some guys wallow or use it as an excuse. You are in control. Stop thinking about the past. It happened. It's over. Can't change it. Move forward. Look some guys get wrapped up into the idea that Alpha means running every situation. The best guy among all the guys, the biggest, the brightest. That's fine. You can live like that, but it isn't the iChing of being Alp…

Working on it. I am taking in huge amounts of protein. I was going to post the number but looking MyFitnessPal I just realized I don't now what the measurement that number is tracking. I am considering lowering some calories. It's about 2300 a day right now. 202 seems like an impossibility. I haven't been that weight since my cadet days and even then I was running 10 miles a day.

I'm going to be nicer. So you've actually stepped off the porch. Not had the epiphany. The difference here is that you still apologized for your sexuality. If she doesn't want it her problem. My wife says that I slap her ass, wink, and say "You're loss" then move on with something else. You're still way more concerned about getting affection from her. Women don't love men the way men expect. Internalize that now.

yep. There is A LOT more work to be done. I am told leaning out takes longer. I can drop the weight but it wouldn't be lean, just skinny.

agreed. Domination was easier for me to start with. But i need to make a point to change next time. After this session I think it will have impact. Thanks for pointing it out.

EDIT: At this point I'm more interested in what you are doing outside of the bedroom. Reading? Lifting? Diet under control? Finances and earning potential? Hobbies outside of the home? I hate this part...it always comes off as bragging and usually draws the ire of "well she still aint into you". Ok so, I'm 6'4" 230. I was 220 after loosing 80 pounds, but weight has increase due to the serious increase in lifting. Been lifting for about 6 months. down to 13% BF and dropping, but weight is startin…

Women like to drag shit out. I don't know why but BPP says it's like a cat toying with prey. They love suffering. Cut it off. DOn't let her see it if you can't actually manage it. Instinctually she wants this to drag out. Suffering, so she's in a better position. Hel...maybe the Chad really doesn't want her but likes the bang. who the fuck knows, what's relevant is that you need to get out of that prey mindset. Maybe you go up on notch. She says one month you say she has a week. I don't know, bu…

I just re-read your backstory....15 days ago. So here we are on her timeline still. 15 days. This can't be fixed, repaired or even back on track in 15 days but you can start being more confident. Which is huge in getting out of her frame. Look..she is still dictating. IMO this is a huge indication that you are still solidly more concerned about her then you are about you and your son. I get the whole wanting a family for your kid. I get that I do. BUT there is something to be said that if this i…

Thanks. This is why I posted the PR in the first place. To make sure I am on the right track AND I don't go too far. Don't to scare the rabbit all that. I don't think I did. It wasn't porn sex by any means but for more....forceful and aggressive then the usual far. It's been a process. Slowly building up so she's used to the idea. They say don't have a plan going into sex but...you kind of have to have an outline if you are going into new territory. I even said things I want (though it never hap…

i read his and it's almost word for word my starting situation (minus the medical stuff). 4 months later and things have improved. Read the sidebar information. Start with No More Mr Nice Guy and keep going. I can't speak for the medical issues but keep doing what you are doing and your marriage will fail. Do what MRP says and you have a chance. If you don't bother with any of this, other relationships here after won't be better either because you have to fix the fundamental problem. You. Welcom…

You have one thing that most don't get. You know where you stand with her. Most don't find out until they are in the hospital ready for life or death surgery. You do you. You can't can't change her nor negotiate her desire. They say MRP doesn't always save the marriage but it saves the man. Keep on the path. You and your son will be better for it.

I have a tool. It's called a makiwara. I punch it 100 times a day with each fist. A makiwara is basically a wooden board with some padding. It's a okinawan tool for body conditioning. The thing is you can't go at it with the western mentality of no pain no gain. IF there is pain it hurts and you stall your training. Go slow, and over time as your bones and skin remodel and grow tougher you can hit harder and more often. But you have to have control. There is a lot to learn from the makiwara. It'…

So. You have a choice. Keep wringing your hands. Or roll up your sleeves. Which is it? What I don't understand...never understood is why a man would want to give it one more try with a woman that cheated on him. It should be the other way around. All you are doing is validating her cheating and actually encouraging her to do it again. I mean holy shit she threatens divorce, restricts sex, and yet is banging another dude? WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK! get your balls back by kicking her ass to the curb. O…

OK. I am not normally this blunt. I am tired. My frame is a bit weak. My trainer kicked my ass this morning...my personal lifts all increased 20-40% across the board but at some cost. Any case.....you talk too fucking much. Less talk. More work.

My humble apologies. I wasn't trying to figure anyone out. It was merely an illustration. A poor one if one understands Yin Yang theory, but I didn't want to get into an in-depth article about Yin/Yang. So I kept it simple. Again, my apologies.

I'll add a little more to this. More clarity as it were. I have learned that for women, trust isn't the same as it is for men. For women trust is either, you didn't do what I want/need you to do or you're not acting the way I want you to; in other words you are being erratic. So for them saying it they are using it as a weapon to strike at your heart. Because for a man trust means I know you will be by my side with sword in hand ready to take one for me if it is so necessary. So her saying she d…

The only way, I see, to gain true inner confidence is through adversity and rising to the challenge. Prove to myself I can do shit, that is part of what lifting is, is it not? This is too advanced for you. First I will go out on a limb and confess that I feel the single minded idea that lifting is the only way is misleading. DOn't get me wrong. You need to lift BUT if something is stopping you as in your case you can do calisthenics. It isn't as effective but it helps your mental attitude. Pushu…

Why do TRP posters often seem stuck in the anger phase? Some regard it as coming to the realization hat you have been lied to. OR that all you dreamed is possible...porn sex could be a thing. Personally I see it as a lack of balance. As I said TRP finds strength and comfort in reflecting woman's nature back at them. Fair is fair right? TO me this is imbalance and disrupts a persons nature. YET if you can give yourself completely over your Yang desires it can work but if you can't anger sets in b…
