Looks matter and that's fine. I just think some people need to realise how attractive they really are and change their standards accordingly. There are fat douchebag males who think they deserve a 10/10 girlfriend and they're an issue too but if we're being honest most of the time we unattractive and often overweight women thinking they deserve a Calvin Klein model.

I think thats a pretty good point. I have seen a few people say that feminism is a movement againt men which to some degree is true but also to some degree not as it isnt cookie cutter like that, especially since most women individually have different goals for feminism. However it isn't a good look for Feminism to see the feminist Instagram (currently at 6.5 million followers) spouting things such as 'As a girl I hope that I have as many rights as a gun' like we still live in the 1950s.

How much of this sub do you think is incel? My experience is that there are a small number but they're easy to spot and don't represent the majority of people and opinions on the sub. Would love to hear your and anyone elses experience though as i dont live in my mums basement and am not active on this sub 24/7

Wow, I never realised, many people have been taught that men are oppressers and abusers for a lifetime. Of course, thats partly due to the terrible men such as Ted Bundy and the medias wide spread coverage of it, but that's a very good point that I've never thought about before.

As a whole I don't see this place as a hate sub. Sure, there are a few incels but they arent supported. The main difference to me between this sub and say something like FDS is that the people here use facts, statistics and logic when making a point whereas on FDS you will more likely see people talking from feelings and using 'facts' with no data to back it up. This sub also does very well on letting people have some sort of free speech, whereas we see once again other actual hate subs silencin…

I couldn't think of what else you'd call shouting at someone from across the street multiple times but obviously that's not the only thing they said. I was looking for opinions on whether what they said, although seemingly minor to some people, was something to be upset about as I've seen on the news and on social media that doing such things isn't socially acceptable.

I get what you mean, but I feel you might be going abit extreme. I highly doubt the girls from my school would attempt to put me behind bars if I confronted them. Obviously, verbal confrontation gets you nowhere when you're the popular girl at school...

I wouldn't say they were calling me attractive, but I wouldn't say they were meant to be harmful comments. They were sort of... creepy? Like the sort of thing you'd hear a stereotypical middle aged man say to a young girl running past.
