This is the legit the gayest most autistic subreddit on this website and every day I ask myself while I’m still subscribed and I think the answer is that I like to hate

Fair points but it would be the third date and frankly, since when is a movie some high investment activity? For decades that’s been many people’s go to first date.

Men and women need each other and should love and treasure and respect one another. I hate to see the cynicism and hatred on either side! Reddit seems to breed a lot of it unfortunately. Edit: This post got me permanently banned from femaledatingstrategy (not that I ever posted there). How ironic! That sub, along with the redpill, is responsible for much gender division.

We live in a weird time where femininity in women is being displaced by masculinity and masculinity in men is being displaced by nothing good.

I don't really get this personally. You're approaching someone because you want something from them. You don't go around giving random people value, and if you do, weird coincidence that they're all good looking women.
/r/seduction18/03/19 08:41 PM

What if I get bored if it's all sexual tension and no talk?

I kind of agree with this when it comes to texting. I don't understand how someone can be too busy to send a message.

I've had that feeling too but she is one hell of a force right now, so I'm not going to question or undermine her credibility or momentum based on a feeling. If she is effective at advancing rational principles, which she is, then I don't necessarily care if she's cashing in on a market.

Of course, but deciding you're not interested in pursuing someone isn't the same as ghosting. There are responsible and mature ways to do the former. The latter can be extremely hurtful, confusing and in some (rare) cases traumatizing. I knew a girl whose first sexual partner ghosted her for months and it really messed with her head. Not to sound like a white knight, but barring legal issues, from a purely biological standpoint sex is way more risky and vulnerable for the woman for obvious reaso…

Good idea, Bill. Let's force a bunch of women to be scientists against their will... or fire enough male scientists to make it even.

This is some relativistic nonsense. Might not be your preferred parenting style? Yes, this is ABUSE. You do not treat human beings this way. Here are your own words with a few adjustments: "The context is very clear - Husband wants to tape something, has announced that he is taping something. In the space of about a minute, the wife gets in frame twice, and is making a large mess offstage. She gets hollered at, spanked, and made to clean up the mess. This is not abuse. It might not be your prefe…

Yeah... not like the lady seems particularly trustworthy, but it's scary that she says she's done it before.

Of course I am! Just wouldn't want to date most of them.

Sounds like confirmation bias. I'm guessing most successful people aren't good looking. Unless you're attracted to them because they're successful, that is... But good looking people have this sort of distortion field around them, especially good looking women. People (re)act differently to them and hold them to different standards. The result of this is that they don't often hear the truth. Or, they may hear the truth about their beauty so often that they can no longer believe it. Or they will …

I don't think you should use the language of "deserves" when it comes to something like this. I don't feel as if no girl "deserves" to be with a guy with braces, I just feel understanding if no girl would be attracted to me during this period of time. Calling yourself a POS is a value judgment that doesn't have anything to do with how you look.

Yeah, I've been self conscious of my jaw my entire life. I have a small/weak jaw and it really blows my self confidence. Can't wait to have that all behind me!

I haven't read the article or anything so I'm just pulling this out of my ass, but this conclusion smells of confusing correlation with causation.

A lot of it, sure... but most of modern psychology is testable and falsifiable. Evolutionary psychology is just guesswork. Granted, a lot of the explanations they offer make sense, but explanations come cheap in understanding the natural world. I don't think it's helpful for us to invest much in these explanations or put them forth as if we knew they were the case. We're not justified in doing so.

This doesn't seem like it would be very effective. Most of these people haven't used the app in a while. What are the odds that we'll like each other if that's the case?
