You can't control it, so it doesn't matter. So don't think about it.

"Handicaps" like this are great. While they make you slightly less attractive, they also give you an opportunity to show your confidence by shooting down anybody who tries to make fun of you for it.

I know how you feel, I am not missing any teeth, (one fake from a rugby accident though), but I am too self conscious to smile because I know that young me fucked up with my teeth by not taking care of them, and now they're discoloured.

I mean, anyone who told you physical appearance didn't matter is lying, and since you are missing a bunch of teeth, it probably doesn't make you more attractive.

But having said that, let me give you some more food for thought. Whether or not it's a handicap, especially whether or not you realize it, doesn't change anything. The girls you didn't approach aren't going to come find you once you get your mouth fixed. You simply don't have anything to lose by approaching a girl, ever (unless you live in a tiny town where you can literally exhaust your resources). So don't worry about it. And think about it this way - if you can pick up a girl while missing half your teeth, think of what you can do when you finish your procedure.

trust me, you have no handicap. About 6 months ago i had bite jumpers pushing my jaw forward into a better alignment with the rest of the skull. I thought I could never get a girl with these two metal poles and braces on, back after going to a party i still managed to make out with a few girls not one of them seem to cared about it.

I'm a snuser and it goes everywhere in my mouth. Usually people don't react but maybe that's because they are afraid to say anything.

Attitude is everything. Use it. Make fun of it i.e. "I was hoping these would've been out by the fifth grade.." "I've come to love braces. I might just leave them in when my smile is amazing.."

Or own it i.e. " I felt like treating myself so I bought a new smile.." or "I've always been self conscious about my jaw. So I did something about it. You ever had that feeling?"

Pick-up IS about appearance but like any good magician; your looks can always be deceiving if you know the right tricks!

Yeah I have the same problem.. I've been on a boy fast for 2 1/2 years during the "best time of my life" aka college and it fucking sucks. I'm so done with this. I feel so ugly and I feel like no one deserves to have an ugly POS with braces as their girlfriend.

It's your mentality that is the handicap, not the actual work.

The more you see yourself as unattractive, the more you push away possible girls who might be interested in you.

No matter how good you look or not, it is mostly your attitude and perception about yourself, that will either attract or push them away.

This is apart of your life, share it with those you like and care for.
