Verbal Abuse in MarriageNo I wasn't. In fact I probably became more that way AFTER this happened because I felt terrified of that ever happening to me again and felt like I needed to stand up for myself more. And then over time it turned into more stubbornness than just an unwillingness to put up with abusive bullshit. At the time (I was young and had little experience with dating), I felt like I had to be one of two extremes. The way I was with that ex, and risk being emotionally abused again, or a headstrong, constan… | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/07/14 06:57 PM

Verbal Abuse in MarriageI fully agree. I never said otherwise. | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/07/14 05:31 PM
Verbal Abuse in MarriageWell speaking from personal experience, you're wrong, and to basically imply that my being abused this way was my fault or that I was equally as guilty--neither of which are true at all--is a horrible thing to say to someone when YOU don't know the full story. If you have no personal experience in the matter then you have no way of knowing. | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/07/14 05:30 PM
Verbal Abuse in MarriageThere are plenty of men who are. I didn't say all or even most. I don't know why that's so hard to believe. | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/07/14 05:22 PM
Verbal Abuse in MarriageI agree. This really bothered me. The article itself has a good message but it basically just assumes that it's always both parties and that is simply untrue. | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/07/14 04:28 PM

New here, need some guidance.Good advice, thank you. I should've mentioned in my post that even when I'm not recovering from surgery, I'm in constant pain from chronic headaches. Just like you, medication may take the edge off (sometimes), but I'm pretty much always in horrible amounts of pain. My ADHD medication helps me power through it in order to get things done, but I haven't been able to take it because of the pregnancy. I'm very excited to get back on it though. It helps my moods and everything too. I have a much eas… | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/07/14 07:58 PM

New here, need some guidance.Thank you. Thank you very much. Sometimes it takes an outsider's perspective to understand even the simplest things haha | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/07/14 07:00 PM
New here, need some guidance.Yeah my husband and I used to love taking loooooong walks together at least once a week, especially in the spring and fall. We live in the south so during the summer, not so much (my husband is from up north and he hates our summer heat, especially since he works in it every day). But yeah I think when I'm able to, walking every day will be a great idea. And you're definitely right about the makeup thing, I haven't been doing that enough but when I do I feel a lot better. Thanks! | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/07/14 06:51 PM
New here, need some guidance. You're right, it's mostly aggression towards him. And most of it started after our problems began, I wasn't always like that. It's not as big of an issue now as it was in the past, we've both been doing a lot better, and I can't even remember the last time we fought so I guess that's good! | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/07/14 06:44 PM

New here, need some guidance.I actually got my tubes tied during my c section so I'm good on birth control lol. But yeah when my oldest son (he's 7) is in school I usually walk him to and from, it's a couple blocks away from our house. I enjoy walking anyway so that's a good idea. Except in the summer because I live in the south and it's miserably hot haha but I try to anyway. I got a jogging stroller for the new baby though and I'm excited to use it! | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/07/14 06:42 PM
