I’m not ready for divorce but what choice do I have?Go for therapy. For yourself and marriage counselling if you haven’t tried. Kids are the one who suffers the most when two people decides to part ways. If it helps great, but it needs two people to make things right and make things work. If she is up for couple counselling great. If not I would still encourage you to seek professional help. All the best. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/06/24 06:20 PM
Broken and confusedYup. The one thing I learned is that it’s not going to change what they did to you. As long as you know that you gave your 100% and you did not mess around. That’s all it matters. I sleep well at night now. I was in a bad space few months back. The whole uncertainty of how things will be, how my child is going to accept. At one point I was willing to neglect all her doing, but then I looked back and all I could see is the pattern. That’s what she has done in past and she got away with it. So it … | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/01/24 07:44 PM
Broken and confusedI am myself going through the situation. Marriage of 9 years and 4 year old child. Just like any other married couple, we would fight and argue. Out of nowhere she created such a mess which was not acceptable to me. She ask for divorce, at first I was really trying to keep the family together. But then I gave up and accepted the fact that the marriage won’t work. I am not even interested in why she did it and if she is cheating. I know that I gave my best in the marriage and still it didn’t work… | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/01/24 07:28 PM
Broken and confusedThat’s just sad and unfortunate. But in life sometimes there are no answers. The only advice I would give to you is to stay strong. Try not to dwell in the whole mess and do not forget yourself. It’s a tough time and people often loose themselves in such situations. It’s not easy to let go, but the time will heal everything. Make a plan on how you are going to live your life, it doesn’t have to be 5 year plan. Just start a plan, it could be small as when you going to live if you both selling you… | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/01/24 07:13 PM

Advise for full custodyAgree 100%. I have speak to her so many times that our relationship as husband and wife is over the moment she crossed the line. All I want from her is to spend time with our daughter, look after her and make her priority. She has stayed out when our daughter was sick at home. Every time she has a new reason or excuse. I am just tired. All I want is that my child gets the love and care from both parents. And at the moment she is not getting from her mother. | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/01/24 02:33 AM

Advise for full custodySame with my wife. She is acting like a teenager. I am not trying to justify that i am the best husband. But never in our 9 years of marriage I have curse at her. We use to have arguments where we won’t speak for week or so. But things weren’t this bad. Her attitude towards the family and house has completely changed. | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/01/24 02:24 AM
Advise for full custodyThank you. I did ask her on what she said about the full custody. It seems to me that she is just messing around. She thought I would never agree to get separated due to being really attached to my daughter. And I am sure all parents are attached to their children. But now she change her mind and wants everything 50-50( house and child). | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/01/24 02:22 AM
