Sure, I'll give you the parents and the morality points. I've been away from this sub for a while, and this thread was my first reminder of the level of deconstruction necessary for analyzing game. Sometimes sincerity has to play second fiddle to progress. I'm glad you genuinely liked those dogs - I just don't see that in your post. You frame it as a technique to hook and secure women and describe how you conditioned them, neither of which indicates real affection for any of the parties involved…

1 . So how do you game on the dancefloor? Take it down a notch - instead of trying to make out, or take someone home, just go to dance. Enjoy the music, the movement, the connection with the female body. For a bit of perspective, I'll take great dancing over mediocre sex any day. 2 . Today I danced with a group of girls and then one girl says 'you won't get lucky tonight' (lucky=laid). What the hell can I answer to that and why would she say such a thing? Maybe she was being bitchy, or maybe it …

Manipulating a simpler being in order to manipulate a more complex one. Clever; you must be very proud of yourself. edit: Sorry, I should be more civil. Sure, the technique may work, but if you see it as a technique in the first place you're probably not doing so hot in the sincerity department.

There's a chance that you go for it, she clicks, and bam you just hooked up on prom. More likely, you'll turn what could have been a fun night into an awkward one. You'll get plenty of chances with women, but you only get one prom. I say just have fun and don't worry about getting with her. I'll end up being friend-zoned You're already friend zoned. She knows you like her and said LGBF. That's more or less the definition. Dancing. Well now. Whatever you choose, we've gotta make sure you do it in…

I'm underage. Date spots? Bars : adults :: movies : teenagers. Being underage only restricts you from the "standard" adult date spot, analogous to movies for teenagers. In my opinion neither bars nor movies are particularly good choices. If I'm at a bar I want to be meeting and flirting with new people, not tied to one woman. And movies (in theaters) force you into 90+ minutes of minimal interaction. A little creativity goes a long way in impressing her and having a great time. Cook together. Go…

Flaky behavior has two possible causes: she's naturally flaky, or she's not attracted. In case of the latter, move on. If it's the former, just be persistent and keep initiating.

Fun stories, improved physique, new skills, vacation pictures - whatever comes out of an interesting, enjoyable, and productive summer will build far more attraction than a few messages. Anyway, you'll be back on campus before you know it.

Only you (and she) can decide whether the benefits of exchanging nudes outweigh the potential consequences. But first things first: why do you view nudes primarily as a tactic? Why not enjoy the experience for its own sake?

women are hornier than we originally thought Yes, but this is just half of it. The article also concludes that women have greater ability to control their sex drive, whereas men generally desire sex no matter what. Women are thus more able to adapt to the needs of the situation, including societal demands such as monogamy. (ninja edited)

Practicing the language gives you a great reason to suggest a meet up with the girls you meet. Just make sure they know it will be fun and not just a tutoring job.

You have the right idea - prolonged texting won't do you any good when you first meet someone. But when that someone becomes your girlfriend, you can loosen up a little!

/u/ireallylove me can make a move now, and, assuming the friend and boyfriend have a decent relationship, fail miserably. Or he can enjoy their friendship while improving his game with other women. When an opportunity with the friend does arise, he will be better equipped to capitalize on it. I learned the hard way that dating girls with boyfriends is not worth the trouble it causes down the road. But YMMV.

Don't worry about it. It's possible that the message showed up on her screen without her seeing it. Even if she did see it, you're not exactly a priority in her life until you start dating or hooking up.

Agreed. From personal experience, willingness to respect a girl's boundaries is a very attractive trait. More importantly, it's just part of being a decent person.

It seems to me that girls who like boys (not just the idea of one), and who know what they want, are always serial monogamists. They are never single for an extended period of time and always make it count with the guy they are with. Also a university student. I have observed the same thing, and that is my conclusion as well. The bad news is that, as you've seen, any one girl of this type will likely be in a relationship when you meet her. However, meet enough of them and some are bound to be si…

To an extent. Women still need to select who they would bang, and men who come across as more attractive/seductive/confident, etc. will still tend to be selected more. If it became as prevalent as Facebook itself, I think you would have a point. Thankfully I don't see that happening. edit: if it did become commonplace, and hookups became appointments selected by a facebook app, it would put those of us who are adept at seducing women in real life at an even greater advantage

Based on personal experience, I now treat cafeterias as off-limits. I've tried both direct and longer-term social circle game in dining halls. Every single one was either an instant rejection or faded into an uncomfortable acquaintance. It's a shame, because I see quite a few attractive women there every day. But there is some truth to the principle, "don't shit where you eat." Especially if you're at a small college, you don't want to become known as that guy who hits on girls in the cafeteria.…

I read What Every BODY is Saying a couple weeks ago. It's a very quick, easy read. A handy compilation of details that, while not jaw-dropping, tend to go unnoticed or be taken for granted by most people. I also read a little Eckhart Tolle several months ago. I think it was A New Earth, but not sure. It didn't inspire or interest me. Perhaps this is because I had already been exposed to a similar message from other sources. Regardless, this seems to be the minority opinion of Tolle on seddit, an…

A five minute search reveals only one scientific paper discussing "option limitation." It finds that, given several easily-comparable, equally attractive options, the removal of one such option results in decreased satisfaction during the decision-making process. However, this effect is not observed when the options do not share easily-comparable characteristics - i.e., when you compare apples to oranges. This is a different concept from the "option limitation" discussed in the OP. It seems the …

Thank you for clarifying something I've been struggling with for the last few months: knowing what I want and conveying it. I tend to give off a boyfriend vibe to girls I'm only interested in hooking up with, and that can complicate what ought to be a straightforward situation. This, plus my relative newness to seduction, means that I would probably create some problems by having sex with a good friend. Your relationship with your good friends gives me something to aspire to. On a side note, I t…

First bit of advice, if she's asking that, you're not being bold enough. Agreed. However, Of course it's a date! She's not stupid. That assumption only works if you're doing a good job conveying intent. In this case, the girl is legitimately confused as to what salexius has in mind. A direct response is necessary. Otherwise, she might think she's "hanging out" with a new gay friend. Thankfully that only happened to me once ;)

Why would you disable an AMOG on your side? I routinely go out with a close friend who's a natural, AMOG, and life of the party. He gets more attention than I do, but whenever we interact we make each other look better. Strong allies may overshadow you, but they're still valuable. On the other hand... is he your friend? Because if he's putting you down in front of other people, that sounds like a negative relationship. In that case, you might want to reconsider your involvement with him in socia…

Salsa. By god, salsa. Okay, not for a masquerade ball, but it's the single best dance to know for social purposes. It's a sexy dance, there's a ton of resources on youtube, and it's more applicable to parties than the other latin dances. And if there are any latin dance clubs in your location, it opens up a whole new world for your nightlife.

Forget reading about confidence. Just practice. In general, the group members will always wonder why you're talking to them. It's inherently awkward. Could have been due to either, or maybe a mix of both. Don't aspire to be an asshole, okay? The world has enough, and it's not a very fulfilling way to be. That said, we all need to step out of our comfort zones once in a while. At younger ages, sometimes that means being edgier than we're used to. So when you act like a jerk, you're really looking at two things: her reaction to your behavior, and yours. Do you feel guilty now? Confident? Insecure? Assertive? Obviously these girls were "warm," and being in a frat and an athlete doesn't hurt either. But the whole thing is such a great example of what social proof looks like at its highest level. I find it difficult to socialize so extensively (due to time, not disposition), so this serves as good motivation.

They're certainly not the same thing, but many people in Western culture see the two as correlated: those with strong identities experience the strongest realities. While this may be true, keep in mind that it works for the good and the bad. "Strong" can be a bit misleading. A clear, honest conception of who you are and who you want to be will light the way to becoming your ideal self. On the flip side, a deep-rooted, stubborn, or unrealistic identity can block that path entirely. Therefore I wo…

Women aside, this is good for your life in general. You learn to stop worrying and just act. You save energy from heating, and presumably time and water by taking faster showers. Edit: I'm not just saying this - I've been taking cold showers for about a year now. Glad to see it posted.

Great work and self-reflection. You've recorded a lot of life lessons for such a young guy. Not that I'm much older, but it's really amazing how recent events that seem so significant, like a first kiss, end up meaning everything and nothing in the grand scheme of things. I hope that in a few years you'll look back from the Mountaintop of Seduction to that first kiss. You'll smile, knowing how many more adventures were in store.

What you're saying is, men play women's jealousies off each other, and women use a perception of being in high demand to screen men.* I think that's a near- universally-accepted generalization inside and outside the seduction community. Asking what other tactics or strategies we use is basically asking for a summary of this subreddit. *The myth of the alpha male is that he's able to do both. Note that myth does not necessarily imply false.

People do all sorts of social activities at frat parties: dancing, beer pong, drinking, talking, hooking up. But those interactions seldom lead to lasting relationships (unless one is involved in Greek life). Despite all the "socialization," you don't really get to know anybody. I've had far more success with friends and women at house parties than I have at frat parties. You have to attribute some of this to my personality, but I think the venue does make a difference.

Assuming you weren't 100% congruent when you said it, that response will have a very negative response. First off, you're lucky to have friends who are willing to take the initiative and candidly speak their minds. Nobody can begin to study seduction without pushing boundaries. We venture into odd situations, confront new people, and adapt new ways of speaking and acting. In doing so, we free ourselves from our personal limitations and societal expectations. We become bolder men. Sometimes, we become too bold. But therein lies the other half of the experience: not only do we do things we otherwise…

I wish I could teach you how to adapt my enthusiasm, but I really don't know how. I do know that our mindsets feed off themselves: low begets low and high begets high. Our minds are at the mercy of our social surroundings, our biological operations, and whatever chemicals are getting pumped into our e…

Join whatever clubs you want. You won't meet as many girls in CS club as you would in a frat, but you'll just have to make up for it in other ways. Value isn't determined by what you do; it's conveyed by how you do it. A micro-example: telling a girl you're in comp sci club sheepishly, expecting her to think it's uncool, vs. saying it with pride and passion. It so happens that some activities are more likely to make you a more confident, interesting individual than others (think traveling extens…

Plain graphic-free tees are fine IMO. With a good fitting tee, classy jeans, and slick sneakers, you'll have clean look that's better than 85% of the stuff college kids wear. Careful with khakis, though. Almost every pair of khakis I see around campus is too baggy, and the khaki + tee combo can look fratty. edit: I shop at some pretty expensive stores, and $10 Target tees are the best I've found anywhere. But I agree with just_me_in_a_tree, if you have the money it would be good to invest in som…

If it wasn't obvious, I'm not in a fraternity. I'm solidly against most of the greek system at my school, but we have a very polarized situation. Freshman and sophomore year, it's definitely good to know a couple frat friends who can get you into parties. Or during rush you can just pretend you're interested in pledging.

Every college scene is different, but I'll tell you what worked for me. Freshman year, I was at the bottom of the party chain. I depended on my other freshman friends, who depended on their older friends, who depended on other friends, to hear about parties. We had our share of frat parties, clubbing, and house / apartment parties. But while most of my friends just hanged out with whomever they went with, I went to meet people. Not to make best friends, mind you, just have a good time with cool …

Stick in there until the bitter END. Someone's been watching Tyler Durden. I love it, great words to keep in mind when doing a set. I feel like you come on very strong but you don't give anything back. Maybe you were so focused on making her qualify herself to you that you didn't tell her enough about yourself? Anyway, I read about something called the two-thirds rule: for every three things she does for you, you do two for her. For example, complement her twice, and then don't do it again until…

It's because my whole life I have looked for a love that felt like a movie. Same here. I went though some extremely melancholy periods when I realized I couldn't have those emotions. I dealt with it by developing a determination to make my life MORE interesting than movies, and by becoming fiercely independent and cynical. The "true love" I envision is incredibly unlikely to happen, but I practice seduction to maximize the chances that I find the right girl. I know this doesn't directly answer y…

College is a different beast, though. If it's clear that it's a one night stand, there's really no need to reach out to her afterwards. I'd suggest only texting if OP is interested in seeing her again. Also, a lot of my friends see calling as a big deal - they're surprised when I call instead of text. So I think a call has the potential to be very statement-making or very awkward depending on the situation.

This happened to me the other day. After I finished eating, I went up to her (she was with three friends) and said "Is it just me, or have we made eye contact like three times?" Be honest, and communicate. So far I've just been telling them I understand and that I would let them know if I have sex with another girl. "I understand" is good. But there's absolutely no reason to let them know when you have sex with someone else. They should assume that you are, and if that's a problem, then they can find someone else. Keep up the good work, and stick to what YOU want - not what other people want out of you.

NO. I'm sorry, but this is NOT good advice. A self-actualized man NEVER makes a major life change such as moving out for the sole purpose of pursuing one potential relationship with one particular woman. First off, be careful about dating within your dorm. If things go bad, you'll be dealing with many an awkward encounter in the hall, and word gets around. Anywhere, here's my analysis. She's not asking you out. Minimum possibility: she's just being social and friendly. Maximum: she's interested in you. The truth probably falls somewhere in between, but it's a good sign in any case. tl;dr: Hookup culture allows young, ambitious women to focus on their careers. Wealthy undergrads, Ivy-league bankers and HBO shows hardly provide a fair representation of the U.S. female population as a whole. Still, it's an interesting look at that slice of culture. Long story short, sex is older than human history. Some people still can't get over it, and they freak out when others in their culture do.

Good point. Reddit's ranking algorithm wouldn't be very compatible with that structure. We're nearing the point where I would support the creation of a "seduction techniques and theory" subreddit with strict posting rules and invite-only membership. Of course, that's an extreme last resort.
/r/seduction31/07/12 03:55 PM

All good points. The question is, how to implement it? One objection: for people who want to make a lifestyle out of pickup A bit extreme. Change it to "for people who want to make pickup a part of their lifestyle," and I'm all in. The self-improvement part is tricky, too. Overall self-improvement is such a critical factor in getting better with women. Perhaps we should have two sister subreddits, one for seduction techniques and one for self-improvement as it relates to seduction.

Here's the problem with flair. Dedicated contributors are going to keep posting (mostly) good advice whether or not they have flair. She pays for what she gets, and I pay for what I get.* I ask her to go somewhere that clearly will require spending money. She agrees. Fellow college student here. Also male. Also confident and attractive. Also not anxious/nervous. I'd like some advice on other interesting/natural things to converse about while we're walking to her classroom/destination. I'd really encourage you to avoid planning topics of conversation ahead of time. Girls can smell that from a mile away, and it won't help you improve in the long run. Just make observations (you've read David Wygant, you know what I'm talking about), be yourself, and let the co…

Going off the limited information here, I would guess that your problem is not due to your intelligence alone. It's how you present your intelligence that makes a difference. Could you elaborate on your style style of speech? I'd imagine your delivery is direct, articulate, and rapid, like a well-aimed assault rifle.

[this ended up being longer than I expected. Looking over it, it reads more like a primer for new students - but the hell if i'm deleting it at this point. She was throwing you a chance to make a move the entire night. Talking is great; it lets you connect on a personal level and build comfort. But don't talk and cuddle yourself into the friendzone. Yes, that's one approach. That's exactly what this guy did (this is the same post I linked to in another comment in this thread), and I think you'd agree with him. "Letting her get away with it" is a beta thing to do, but it's also what alphas do - for a different reason. Betas do it because they cede control to women. I do it because there are plenty of women out there who won't flake on me, and those who do simply aren't worth any more of my time. Likewise, I think not letting her get away wit…

numbers game. You have to assume a certain percentage of women will flake, so more approaches -> more who don't flake. Seddit is particularly fond of the "Sorry, I'm booked later / I've made other plans" approach. Basically conveying that your time is valuable and that there are other people in your life. From a psychological point of view, it's kind of a combo of the scarcity principle and social proof. Refuse to accept the flake. And finally, I'd add - momentum. Strike the iron while it is hot…

I'd say they're shit tests, in a way. Obviously push-pull and your typical method of turning shit tests is the way to go... most of the time. It gets to a point, though, where the girl just wants to see a straight-up answer. Some directness. Sincerity. I think your best bet is to keep doing what you've been doing for 90-95% of the time, but be able to recognize that 5% of moments where you're better off calling it like you see it ("only one way to find out").

This has to do more with response time than content, but... as a bad texter myself... don't worry about it. If it's not urgent, I'll take hours, even days to respond to a text. Nothing against the people I'm talking to; it's just how my mind works. The in-person experience is what really counts. I believe non face-to-face interaction should be kept to a minimum - just enough to keep you in her thoughts, and perhaps even less than that. Keep it flirty. I actually liked the writing style. It's almost hypnotic. And identifying your types is a fun, guilty pleasure. Besides that, the book is useless. Does more harm than good. The manipulator/victim frame is downright nasty. None of the concepts are validated by anything besides his carefully-selected anecdotes, and even if they were, they would be impractical to implement. Rock on, knight. Nice stinger there (not sarcasm). Wish it wasn't used on me, but that's a punch I can appreciate. Please don't misconstrue my argument as sexist. It's not. You and I agree that women have every right to make their own decisions. This is a question of age. Am I okay with 21 and 31 year olds dating? Of course. 15 and 31? Not too young for any age, to be honest. Therefore, it's okay for an 81 year old man to date an 18 y/o girl. That's a mighty bold claim to make. Edit: or for an 81 year old woman to date an 18 y/o boy. My concern is age, not gender. But let's not dwell on that point. I think the issue boils down to whether both parties have the maturity to maintain a healthy relationship despite the differences in life experiences, outlook, and current situation that would arise due to the age gap. This is a nice idea. I won't be writing a FR soon, so might as well share some thoughts here. Going out to bars/parties/clubs presents good opportunities, but being social in everyday life - constantly talking and making new connections - is what makes the real difference. I get too one-track-minded about seduction when inebriated. On all occasions, must push-pull more. Girls are hesitant to kiss in front of their friends - especially when no one else is. Plan logistics accordingly.

It makes no sense to abandon traditional "I hope she likes me" seduction. "Pussy screening" (I hate that term) may get you laid more, but seduction remains an invaluable social skill. So this post doesn't completely kill the paradigms of inner game or manipulation/influence/seduction. Still - it has some really, really big implications for mentality when actively picking up women. Kino kino kino. Agree 100%. The phone trick and sex conversations are good ideas, provided that the OP can pull them off without causing her discomfort or annoyance. But I guess that applies to most techniques, and seeing what you can get away with is part of the learning experience. But negging? Really? There's no doubt that drastic physical change affects how others perceive you. As far as seduction goes, though, it's tough to see where it fits in. Especially because women tend to value personality over appearance. As far as instant turn-off or interest, you'd only see that at the very far (jacked) end of the physique spectrum. Most of us aren't at that point. I'm curious, how has working out hurt your inner game?

Silence is only awkward if you think it is. In a ride that long, I would be more surprised if silence didn't eventually fall over the conversation. Like a campfire, there's nothing wrong with reviving the conversation or letting it die down as you see fit. There was a pretty cool post that discussed this the other day. The gist of it is, silence can be a good opportunity.

It is not a penis that satisfies a woman but a MAN. And he satisfies not as a physical body but as IMAGE, which meets more or less some criteria... Do you want to force a husband to wash clothes, to clean floors or to look after the baby, etc? Did high-ranking males in primeval herd do such a contemptible job? If you succeed in this (but this is unlikely if he was not inclined to it by himself) your mind probably will be satisfied for some time. However, your primeval "ego" will immediately reco…

Live every moment with purpose. If what you're doing at any given moment is not helping you or somebody else live a more fulfilling life, it's not worth your time. You'll find that many activities are unavoidable but don't fit the bill - like doing laundry. Either find a way not to do them, or find a way to squeeze fulfillment out of them. See if you can fold a shirt with your eyes closed. Strike up a conversation with the person washing clothes next to you. Think of the laborer who made your je…

Good luck, man. I don't have an answer to offer you, but I would like to say thanks for raising the issue of sexual health. As someone progressing quickly from zero game to ladies' man, I have in the back of my mind the quiet, yet startling, concern that the same thing may happen to me. Sexual health ought to be discussed more often in Seddit, and I'm glad someone finally brought it up. I'm sorry it had to be under these circumstances.

TL;DR: Females are constantly choosing new traits to be attracted to, while males constantly try to keep up with developing these traits. Males get stuck carrying lots of "baggage" that is no longer attractive. How it works: Let's say in a population of birds, males have small feathers. Females wish that males had big feathers. Males that by chance are born with bigger feathers have better success mating. This causes females to reproduce sub-optimally, since they're sacrificing other standards b…

In what way? Here's my reasoning: A man practicing radical honesty approaches a woman. In a parallel reality, the same man does not use radical honesty, but instead uses a direct game approach on the same woman. Don't you think both resulting conversations would look very similar?
/r/seduction30/12/11 04:48 AM

More from Zarathustra on women: Is it not better to fall into the hands of a murderer than into the dreams of a lusty woman? The true man wants two things: danger and play. For that reason he wants woman, as the most dangerous plaything. One should speak about women only to men. Are you visiting women? Do not forget your whip! You are young and desire marriage and children. But I ask you: are you a man who ought to desire a child? Are you the victor, the self-conqueror, the ruler of your senses,…

I think Blanton devised Radical Honesty partly as a way to pick up women. It's a brilliant strategy. The antithesis of mind games. Transparent mating. In other words, direct game.

nice FR, keep up the good work. I find that most girls will give out their numbers fairly readily. #-close is more of a necessary step than an achievement in and of itself. So if you don't plan on staying in touch with her, it's probably pointless. If you can't bring yourself to listen to her, you probably want to find another girl. I guess if you're only interested physically then it doesn't matter, but that's not how I care to operate.

Actually, salsa would be perfect for you. If your school has any form of ballroom or latin dance club or team, joining it might be the best decision you make this year. It won't teach you to club dance, but you'll learn how to move your body. In the space of a year I've gone from clueless to king of the dance floor. And girls absolutely love guys who latin dance.

Haha in your case I think you're okay. The age difference gets less important the older you get, and quite a few of my undergrad friends are dating grad students. I think undergrads going after high schoolers is a bit strange, though.

I now dub thee PUA_Sex_Wizard. I prefer to focus on how to improve from here, but I guess appreciating this year's accomplishments wouldn't hurt. After years of adusting my personality based on an ever-changing conception of my "ideal self," I've finally gained a steady sense of who I want to be. Get there early. More time = more sets = more options and more practice. 4 hours may be a bit extreme, but to each their own. keep doing one after another all night until you find someone you're doing well with Maybe it's just the way I'm reading this, but I think it you could mix and mingle a little, even after finding someone you get along well with. Keeps your options open and shows her you're perfectly capable with any woman, not just her.

I'm assuming you've read up on inner game and approach anxiety already. I'll try to find specific topics that might be more helpful for you, personally. Here's my two cents: DO NOT use alcohol as "liquid confidence." First of all, there's the whole issue where it becomes a reliance, and you don't want to go down that road. As it relates to game, drinking could go either way. Sometimes it loosens people up, lets them go crazy and be the life of the party. Or, it can eliminate their composure, mak…

I have an issue with getting completely turned off if I don't find the person interesting. Hahaha dude, I'd be worried if you didn't have this going on. It's not a problem, it's a sign that you're a normal human being who wants to make an emotional connection with women. If you don't believe this fits with the PUA style, check out Mark Manson's IAMA.

Hey man, we all have moments of ennui. I guess mine haven't lasted as long as yours, but here's my little pep talk. I might be making a few assumptions here, so I'd appreciate any helpful elaboration. The world is a fascinating place filled with interesting people. What you're experiencing is purely a matter of 1) perspective and 2) failing to tap into people's inner selves. Sure, there are plenty of women who don't have much going on in the interest / personality / intelligence department. But …

If you intentionally mirror their body language, it demonstrates your interest, but it also removes one of your tools for gauging theirs. I should add that mirroring applies to gestures and such, but not composure. You wouldn't slouch just because the person you're talking to is. A few more basics: chest out, shoulders back, abs tight, chin up. Not to the point that you look ridiculous, but they work wonders when incorporated naturally into your stance.

I would hope Seddit is classier than this sensationalism makes men out to be. I'll admit, I'm a little disturbed by how some Sedditors objectify women as sexual conquests. However, I'd also like to believe that this population of misguided men comprises just a small minority of the community. I think the majority of Sedditors know better. The reason communities like Seddit exist is so real men can help each other learn how to handle women. We look to each other because mainstream media, includin…

Do it. I'm new, but I can say this with 100% confidence. Direct day game is pickup in its purest, most raw form. Since you have no good reason to be approaching a person (unlike when at a bar or social setting), you're learning to operate at your most vulnerable state. Not only will the lessons you learn apply directly to your night game, they'll also strengthen you as a person. It helps you the same way conditioning helps athletes.
