... You bought an R6 as your first bike?

I see a lot of guys advise being somewhat blunt and concise to get the number but my efforts in doing that get me ghosted. Something I need to then work on. With giving my number - I get it's a weak move because she didn't comply so I gave mine. Would there have been a better approach?

She messaged last. Old me would accept it and reply and try to pursue her and try to 'win her' but that is shit behaviour so. I don't care for this interaction but curious what more RP guys would have done.

I know I could have had the lay but I had a big morning of training and having a late night wasn't worth it. I would have thought dropping everything to go get laid would also come off as weak in her eyes? Like I had nothing else to do?

There was maybe 10-12 messages between us over the two or three days we talked. I've tried cutting out the bullshit and try to get the number in a few messages on other girls but I usually get left on read so I'm either doing something wrong or SMV not high enough

I know she did. I had a big morning of training and that was more important than a lay. I don't even care about the lay it's more I want to troubleshoot what I did to not get her number, that's what's bugging me

I spent the best parts of my teens and 20s in a constant weed haze. Wasted so much time doing nothing with my life. My social skills started turning to shit over the years. Best thing I did was quit, and fully commit to it. If you have an addictive personality avoid it. Do yourself a favour and be productive now.

I didn't even realise any of this. Gives me a lot to work with and improve. Thank you.

They did me a huge favour and charged me no where as much as a dealer would so I appreciate the fact they charged me little to nothing. I will let it go. Thanks.

They defs deserve payment and if they were upfront I wouldn't have cared. It's the way they did it that pissed me off.

For sure. I definitely feel weird about money talk. Something I know I need to address. I felt obligated to say yes - rightfully so, it was just the way it was brought up that irked me. Worst part is this dude is my best friend. 15 years. I want to bring it up but I know how easily he gets upset and defensive.

I've always offered to pay. I've always bought them a case of beer as a thank you when they've said not to worry about paying.

Reflecting back on this - It's balance I am lacking and something I must definitely work on. When it comes to my training I think of it in absolutes. All in or nothing which is not ideal in my type of sport. Thanks.

Class structure makes that difficult since I am cross training at two gyms atm due to my schedule and theirs. I've seen a massive improvement in my technical skill, cardio and cage work so am hesitant to pull back, but by Thursday I am so exhausted the rest of the week is a nightmare. No doubt something has to give.

MMA. 1-2 hours BJJ. 1-2 hours striking. And depending on the day roughly an hour on strength/conditioning.

My libido is low as fuck and this may be why. Thanks, I'll check it out.

Good point. By Thursday I am usually fucked and can hardly get through the day without a fucktonne of coffee.

Reps and sets you recommend? RPE would be good too.

Lifting twice a week. Cardio 2-3x a week. Technical/Skill work 6-7 days a week.

I do my lifting/cardio in the morning before work then my technical work at night. Your body will be fucked for a couple of weeks depending how often you train, intensity and what sport you do but you will adjust to it after awhile.

I had an online coach who helped me with my lifting and nutrition. Through working with him I learned about nutrition. I ended up taking a course to understand the mechanics of it which was cool but not all that useful. Imo the nitty gritty shit isn't that necessary to know, but a good start is learning about macros and micros. Learn how to track them if you want to fast track your progress. I use MFP to do this. Find a macro calculator online and use that as a base. IIFYM is a good resource.

Curious what side bar material do you think don't work anymore and why?

The shit my step dad would try and instil certain TRP philosophies (albeit unknown to him or I) when I was in my teens. I would push so hard against and our relationship was tricky - now I wish i listened to him when I was younger. Fortunately we have a great relationship now and despite some major BP tendencies he is one of the most Stoic men I know. TRP feels like the dad I never had.

Love the honestly man. My mate told me about TRP a few years back and when I checked the sub out there were so many brash, blunt comments but now I understand why - we're all big bitches and sometimes need a kick to the teeth to understand the gravity of it all. I have a fuck-tonne to learn, but the side bar + the books recommended + watching Rollo's TRP 101 have been godlike. My ambition, drive and desire to make something more of myself has gone up ten-fold because of TRP.

For starters - Emphasis on the women as the prize. The last thing OP needs to do is put women up on a pedestal, that's just setting himself up to be cuck'd. You have merit about setting boundaries and enjoying life, but you lost it when you said he has to prove to her he is worth it. He doesn't need to quality himself for her. If he believes he is the shit and is focused on his mission, she will want nothing more than to be with him.

Awesome mentality for a 17 y/o. I work in IT, a lot of others here have said coding is a good path, but be wary what language you decide to learn.

That said you need to check Your Frame. After re-reading my post I can see what you mean about my frame needing development. The concept of frame is still not 100% clear to me in a non-conversational context. Are you able to point me in the direction to some resources around this? ..to live in the moment; and better still; enjoy it. Dating, the thrill, anticipation and the excitement of meeting new people should be fun. If it’s not; work on your frame until it is. I really want to enjoy the in…

Thanks for the feedback. I don't think they'll harm me but I think my fear of them thinking something about me is my irrational fear. It sounds like I need to stop caring what one thinks of me

Same sitch with me. Things are slightly going back to normal but still very odd. I've been working on me - training, learning new shit, reading. Waiting for this to end so I can put what I've read into practise and start moulding myself.

You're paranoid about being ignorant, yet it sounds like you're just throwing a tantrum for the sake of going against your parents. Maybe reflect on what things they say that you disagree with and find comfort in knowing you can lead your own life and make all those decisions without being a prick to them.

Similar shit happened to me with an ex. But was with my best friend, literally this dude and I were best friends from the age of 7. When it happened I wanted nothing more than to hurt them in every and any possible way. Looking back, I'm glad I never did anything. It's fucking tiring being angry. Let it go homie. Don't ruin your future over some stinky minga who couldn't stay loyal.

Agreed. I smoked heavily from 13-20. I tried quitting so many times but the thought that was imprinted in my brain said it's way too hard to quit. Not sure what happened but I just found the drive to quit. Quitting bud on the other hand, has been a nightmare for me. Didn't want to quit but it was controlling my life. On day 3 now. Feeling fucking great.

Might be a defeatist attitude but I've given up on those apps - for the time being anyway. My matches are shit so it's a combination of shit photos, poor frame on my part. An overall sense that I still have a lot of shit I need to work on before my SMV is high enough to get decent results on dating apps. I also know I'm an awkward cunt when talking to women for the first time so another reason to fuck the apps off and work on my interpersonal skill first. Dunno if any of this applies to you eith…

Genuine question, I was watching one of Rollo's podcasts with Patrick on YouTube and PUAs came up. They mention of Mystery Method. My game is fucking aids. I read mystery method to get some pointers to not be such a weird cunt with women. Is that what SGM should be used for too? Seems the consensus is that these types of books are just rubbish if taken word for word, action for action. Haven't had the chance to try any of the stuff on women with still being in lockdown so I plan on giving it ano…
