Why should he have to do any of those things? He shouldn't have to tell her which unit he lives in, show her his keys, or step outside so he can re enter the building. It's a common occurrence where I work. In a 2 week swing I will it at least 1. I don't usually have to go and finish them off, but when I do it's not something I enjoy. It's necessary, and the humane thing to do. I don't take pleasure in it by any means, but I also don't lose sleep over it. Shit happens.

Because the industry I work in wants to be seen as not being a boys club, there are incentives to hire more women. I can't really do anything about it. Almost all companies have at least 50% female staff. The majority may not be in technical roles, but the ones that are, are usually there because they are girls.

Australian Geologist here, I work a FIFO roster, 2 weeks on, 1 week off. I make way more money working FIFO, compared too if I wokred in an office.
