I'm actually going to college next year. I'm speaking in regards to high school/grade school sports which is what this post is referring to

The values of hard work and determination, how to work on a team, how to push yourself, how to have confidence. Basically real world applicable skills. Yes I probably learned more FACTS in school, but I learned more SKILLS on the field

If the kid has a real reason to quit, he's is encouraging him to man up and speak up, if he is just being a whiny quitter, he is disciplining him. I wanted to quit football after a few years because I was a bitch, but my dad made me stick with it because I had no good reason to quit. I played another six years and don't regret a thing. If my dad had just let me quit the second I saw adversity, I wouldn't be here today, but if I had a valid reason to quit he would have listened

I learned more on the football field than I ever did in the classroom

I think fedoras need to be worn with a nice looking suit to look good, not with the typical neckbeard garb of a trench coat and fingerless glove

Thanks a lot, this is very thorough. A much different perspective on TRP that is much more catered to my style. I think other people would benefit from this as well (you think there are a few introverts on reddit?), and you might want to consider doing your own post.

This seriously rings true for me thanks. I am in high school and have constantly been avoiding the party scene, partly because of my introversion, and partly because I plan to go to college on an athletic scholarship and don't want to fuck that up. I would also describe myself as an anti-social asshole in general, but of course I have a few very close friends whom I can count on. It's nice to know there is a game strategy outside of banging party sluts all day. My question for you though, so you…

I remember watching an interview with Steve-O from jackass, and he said that when he was really fucked up on drugs, one day his buds led by Johnny Knoxville came and literally threw him in their trunk and took him to rehab. He said it definitely changed his life and he does not resent them at all for it. So I'm not advocating assault, but if he is truly your bro, you kinda have to force him into rehab. He will not hate you for it in the end, he will appreciate you more

Obviously this is fake. NO idiot walks around smiling at women, "oh hi I'm a redpill". Feminists think we do that, like every single one of us must announce it to the world, but that's not a thing. She is just making up a bs story to make MRA's and TRP look bad

I have a friend who is pretty attractive. Girls are always interested in him and try and talk to him, but the second he starts talking to them they run away like he has the plague. Haha I see what you mean, but in the end if you are looking for a relationship, I'd say fakers are a red flag just in the fact that they are sexual, and I have never seen a virgin with implants. But for a hookup, ain't nothing wrong with plastic titties to play with
/r/TRPOffTopic17/06/14 03:58 AM

Well I think you have to use good judgement. First off if my SO wanted them I'd say go ahead, but you are paying (no fucking way she'd have the cash). Second, you have to look at her reasoning. Have you been going to the gym recently and stated looking better? Then maybe she wants to be on your level again as she is afraid that you will leave her. Or is she suddenly wanting them out of the blue, because I think that would indicate she is planning on upgrading.
/r/TRPOffTopic17/06/14 03:52 AM

I personally prefer natural tits, but I don't look down on girls with implants. They are just trying to boost their SMV and I can't blame them for that, even if it only appeals to some people.

I'm young like 17, you sounded young that's why I asked, but either way you seem like you are looking for a chill chat space with more like-minded people that isn't as strict as TRP, which i think would be great. Yes perhaps there is a line between respect and admire. Another example is Hitler. How can you not respect his speaking skills and such, yet you will never admire his atrocities. But I also know that without dark triad tactics, neither man would have been as successful. Regardless of morality, I believe every young man should learn basic skills like asserting yourself, and sometimes just putting yourself first. I know I was taught to bend over backwards for everyone, and that didn't help me at a…

As a young man, yes, we are extremely lacking in positive male identity, and my generation isn't even getting the worst of it. Everyday I see just the fact of being a man demonized by modern society, and until I found this sub I just sort of accepted it. I'm lucky to have had a good father, but for the kids who don't, who the hell do they have to look up to? Every good male trait now has a stigma to it. Latching on to the post above me, Obama is loved by all when he is a weak president, while Pu…

Im going to guess that being with a man computes to women as a feminine trait. Being more feminine will lower your smv. Have you ever watched most lesbian porn? It's ultra-feminine, making it a turn on for men. While it may not always be true, lesbians compute to men as being more feminine as well. This just my theory.

I think it's just to help people get "unplugged". Anyone whose spent a fair amount of time on TRP won't need it, but I'm sure that new members would have their eyes opened by some real firsthand accounts of gender bias.

As far as your second answer, let's make the scenario an alpha men who wants to start a family. Perhaps he has just as many options as his wife, but not to be biased, I could see him having less tendency to compromise the good thing he has going for him, whereas a woman can throw away everything for her feels. Just a few things to add in addition, the author states that because women win arguments they must be smarter. This couldn't be more false. Look at leaders like Hitler, whose emotional speeches inspired a genocide. Women use emotion, rather than logic, and when the audience is as feminized as our society, emotion will win over logic. And also, everything that this author claims is a problem in the MRA movement, is actually a much bigger problem in e feminism movement. They prey on insecure betas…

Blood theology sounds badass, but it won't catch on. WE are not the ones who require religion, we have reason and logic to guide us. If we were to build a religion, we would have to be the patriarchs who lead the women and betas. This means that the religion would have to be something very relatable that wouldn't pass over their heads with such science-oriented language. But the magic man in the sky idea has gotten overused, we'd need a different approach to a deity.

Everything here is completely true. We need religion to structure society, despite logical fallacy.

Yes, religion is the blind following of rhetoric, which is why society needs it. You think during the height of Christianity, any of the popes believed in Jesus? They understood that everyone followed blindly and they could exploit that, but IT HELD SOCIETY TOGETHER. Women remained chaste, and men settled down with traditional patriarchal families. Even if you don't see benefits in doctrine, you pretend to follow it because it kept everyone in line, but happy. Collapse of religion is part of the…

I know it seems like women should be the go-to for emotional advice, but this is bullshit. Try venting to any girl you know about an issue and you'll either get, "wow that sucks" and no actual advice, or she will make it about HER and say "well this other thing similar (spoiler: it won't be similar at all) happened to ME and its so much worse feel bad for me" If you want to do any kind of venting or get advice, talk to your bros. I have no problem with different lifestyles, but these people think that if simply call yourself a man or woman, that somehow makes you a man or woman? Penis=man, vagina=woman. If you have both that's pretty awesome too but rare. The moral is, If an apple prefers to be called an orange it's still an apple at the end of the day. And if all the unhappy apples got together and made a movement to recognize their orangeneness, that would be pretty insane.

Exactly I mean the best way to get people to hate feminists is to let them listen to feminists. People who have never been to SRS or tumblrinaction think feminism is good since it's for "equality". The second they realize it's the opposite they come here.
/r/TheRedPill30/05/14 12:48 PM

And in that case it's still skewed against men, leaving feminist arguments very invalid.
/r/TheRedPill30/05/14 12:28 PM
1

Regardless of evolutionary psychology, you can't really argue that (most) women are not attracted to a strong dominant and masculine man, because they are. If a woman wants an effeminate man, it will be to provide either money, or with your argument, care for the children. She will grow bored of being the dominant one and will cheat on him, taking us back to the original comment
/r/TheRedPill30/05/14 04:03 AM
1

Which would be true, if feminism was an actual equality movement, which it is not. Equality would mean that everyone could have the opportunity to be what they want and not be shamed or judged, but feminism wants to make it so only WOMEN will be free from shaming and judging, and you can bet that they will still expect men to be the protector and provider, because that's what women are wired to desire.
/r/TheRedPill30/05/14 02:02 AM
1

I'm not saying that I do, but why would a hypergamous woman want a feminine man? And most men seem to dislike them as well. I have no problem with people pursuing what they want but that's not going to change society's perception of those that do.

"Successful" is not synonymous with "oppressor". I don't see anything wrong with working your way from the bottom to the top and reaping the benefits, I believe that is good. Well environment is definitely a huge aspect, and I'm not exactly saying boys are "born alpha", but I think that every boy is born with at least some alpha tendencies, and in many cases they are suppressed rather than nurtured by the environment.

There should be more people like us around here instead of these ridiculously nihilistic perspectives. Yes, I can see that our society is going to shit and AWALT and things like that, but seriously were supposed to be men. We are the ones who should prepare for this coming failure and rebuild afterwards. So many MGTOW types say they would never bring a family into this world. I agree with this. Looking back, I was definitely born TRP but then after being poured all these BP ideas from the media and school I started to believe that being masculine was somehow wrong. I think I read something here that explained it well. Games like COD and LOL literally fuck up your reward system with the "one more match" mentality and the fact that they never really end. To be honest I think a main part of it is just being man enough to be able to say no to daddy's little girl. So many girls I know, their dad's let them do so much shit, and I know they can't be that stupid, so they must just be weak. "Hey dad can I go to a party at this boy's house?" I agree that soon people will have to realize that this current culture does not work. We will have nothing but MGTOWs, unhappy betas, and single mothers on our hands. There will have to be a rebirth of religion. And I am young right now, but when I am a father I am not letting my daughter turn into a whore on my watch. I remember an old linked redditlog where a father said he would pay for his daughters tuition only if she never had sex in college. I will definitely be using this same strategy …
/r/TheRedPill12/05/14 03:47 PM

This is the problem. If every single man went MGTOW for a day, we could probably end world hunger and land a base on mars. But even we did do that, there will always be that one beta that doesn't and fucks up the whole thing. For every single rational male out there, there is a brainwashed bluepill that will allow the system to proceed downward as it has.
/r/TheRedPill12/05/14 03:33 PM

Well see, you have to rephrase the question. Jack was the best PIRATE because he was self-serving and fucked everyone else over for his own gain, but Barbossa was the best leader/captain. Turner was a BP bitch. You have to ask whom they would most like to be the first mate of instead.

Seriously though I have become noticeably more cynical as I've been reading TRP and I once asked my LTR what she thought the purpose of life was. I agree with you and CptdefB here, but I think the problem with everyone is is that does it matter whether the nature of women is a social or biological construct? Either way it's what we currently have to deal with whether innate or ultimately changeable. And regarding monogamy, once again does it matter if it is natural to our biology or not? It is the only logical way to structure society. The population is too high for children to be raised in a community, so the family unit has taken over t…

I guess the problem is that he IS an accomplished author and could be using his time to support something lesser known than commonly accepted knowledge like "you should not assault women". This is the same thing as rape culture. You're not going to stop domestic violence by telling men to stop it, just like how telling a rapist not to rape won't do anything. Scalzi is falling into the same kinda of feminist BS instead of looking for realistic and effectual solutions to more devastating issues. He would rather blame men as a whole for the behaviors of a few. I don't beat women and telling me not to anyway isn't going to make me feel better or worse about that. He is simply wasting …

You are right. I think the worst statistic was how high the number of people who said they would cheat if they wouldn't get caught was. That's a problem that laws won't fix and is more telling of general character.

Sorry my bad I did mean France. It's funny because here in the states Clinton got impeached for his affair, yet France's leader openly has an affair and everyone seems cool with it.

I know you can't link outside of the red pill, but is it a rule that you can't link from inside the sub itself?

Very interesting and true quote; I have never heard that one before. I feel alone sometimes that girls only want to talk about celebrity gossip, guys only want to talk about the most recent sporting event, and here I am reading about social science with no one to share it with.

Obviously this person's first language is not English, if you couldn't tell from reading the post, so of course the writing won't be perfect. And this might be common knowledge around here but he is learning it on his own terms and giving a good real world experience.

I thought being an asshole wasn't literally "being an asshole" and putting people done for your own entertainment, but rather being an asshole as in not putting up with other's bullshit and asserting yourself. Making fun of a dude getting screwed over seems kinda petty without any real benefit to you. I would instead be the strong stoic and maybe the guy would come to me looking for advice on not being a beta. Or he'll just deny reality and I carry on with my life.

Seriously, the total lack of empathy in this story is unbelievable. She does not give a single shit about this poor guy's mental state or happiness, she's just afraid her money is going to run away.

Shit, I saw this movie last year before I found redpill and it makes so much more sense now. Really captures the pain of finding reality.

Idk maybe but isn't it the point of reddit that through voting quality can speak for itself?

The mods should let posts be tagged with humor, we need to laugh more

There is some famous phrase "the more things change the more they stay the same" and it definitely holds true. people and society change, but when you look underneath were are acting with the same impulses and instincts, just under different circumstances. Even a man going from BP to RP has the same motivation. He wants the girl. Despite his attitudes and methods he has the same human drive inside himself.

And I personally agree with that stance right there, but it is clearly not for everyone. Even for the biggest alpha a relationship will take patience, and despite everything, eventually you will have to compromise on something. So that's why many or most guys here chose the plate route. It's all about being open to others ideas, the fights start when everyone says "only my opinion is right". Believe what you want you want but understand other points of view.

Trust me we all have had beta moments in our lives, its probably why most of us end up here.

Men go their own way. its essentially the idea that women don't gave the capacity to love the way you want to be loved, and sex isn't worth the effort it takes and/or sex isn't necessary for you to feel good and be happy, so a man should just focus on himself and limit his experiences with women to solely those in the professional sense. I personally don't agree with it, but I can see where people who support it come from.

part of bashing beta behavior and mindset is to help reinforce the redpill. I'm new to this and coming out of my old beta habits, and believe it or not it actually helps me to keep from ever wanting to go back when I constantly hear beta horror stories and watch as they crumble under their own ignorance. As far as the "banging as many women as possible" thats all up to you. From redpill you can understand woman and which women you want to associate yourself with and who you don't. You may learn …

God damn despite all the emotional garbage going on in some of these comments I think that is the most beta story here.

I think the people down voting you have not read your whole post. It makes sense for men to solipsistic, especially in high school like I am right now. You can make it easy for awhile if you are a beta in the right crowd. But it is definitely the alphas who can be confident on their own that are more successful in everything.
