“Don’t shit where you eat” applies to college? Fuck no. College is the only time you’ll exclusively be around people of your own age and experience in your entire life. Sure it could lead to some awkward situations where you run into an ex in class, but why the fuck would you close this avenue off? Go to town, bro.

Had a date like this once. There was nothing you could have done to re-engage her after she started talking to the other guy without you coming off like a butthurt faggot, especially if it's the way you describe and she diverted so much of her attention to Bob. Don't bother texting her anything in response, just delete the number and never think about it again. also actually kind of think she acted out of millenial naivety Millennial Naivety is my new band name, thanks bro.

The whole "banging multiple women" and living hedonistically is a basically becoming a piece of shit. Getting married and raising a decent God-fearing family with values is actually where it's at. No one likes to acknowledge this, because that takes actual effort and it's easier to just post "enjoy the decline" in lieu of real content.

I miss Craig Ferguson mostly for his interviews. He set the gold standard on flirting with female guests and creating fun chemistry, and pumping up his male guests to make them seem cooler - the way a wingman would. I miss the improv anarchy of that show in general, actually.

When I see people talk about how they binge-watched a show. I work a 9-5 and have a few hobbies (lifting & woodworking) neither of which are that time-consuming and I still feel like I barely have any free time. So when I hear someone say "yeah, I binged the first season of WestWorld this weekend, it was so good!" I immediately assume they have nothing else of value going on in their lives.

What I loved most about that episode was the second she started going off on how hard fat girls have it and how "she can't change it" a steady stream of joggers and cyclists start passing by in the background. Louis was subtly calling her out.

PHUL is fucking awesome. Only downside is no built-in weight progression so unless you're diligent with pushing yourself and upping the weight you'll start spinning your wheels. The routine I originally switched to when I rehabbed myself off Starting Strength was 5/3/1 with the "boring but big" supplement. It was great. Built in weight progression, big volume, and 2 of the 4 days are dedicated to OHP & bench. It's much more boring than PHUL but seeing the numbers climb on OHP was so satisfying. …

Don't fucking do Starting Strength. The purpose of the program is to give you a base to become as strong as possible as fast as possible, with the idea of an aesthetic physique being completely discarded. It's purely about putting big numbers on core powerlifting lifts. The dietary advice given is also hilariously awful, although it's primarily meant for people in skelly mode that need to drastically up their calories. SS will get you extremely good at doing deadlifts & squats, and you'll look l…

I've noticed a lot of overlap in the NoFap and MGTOW communities on Reddit - in that both groups are comprised of weak-willed bitches that try and pretend their biological urges don't exist. There's nothing noble about mentally castrating yourself, just like there's nothing noble in willfully checking out of the game.

I've had a couple of people glance through my post history and bring up my TRP & The_Donald posts as a last-ditch effort to win when an argument isn't going their way. I just double down. "Ok? I also post to r/4chan and r/WallStreetBets, does that help your non-argument?" They always disappear after that.

Exactly. You have to let go of the idea of vengeance through one-upping. Just keep improving yourself and live your life - and if you hear through the grapevine that your ex is a fat druggie with no teeth and 3 kids, that's just a bonus.

The common advice is not to get married as the risks outweigh the rewards. The risks: Losing leverage in the relationship divorce proceedings and asset split overwhelmingly favoring the woman child custody overwhelmingly favoring the woman (first hand experience - my alcoholic mother with a documented history of fuck-ups got custody instead of my hard-working father, and it took multiple drinking-related incidents to get us taken away from her) The benefits: a handful of tax breaks being able to…

I for one am glad the community at large recognized the massive concern trolling from MGTOWs this summer and told them all to fuck off. I never post political stuff on my Facebook. In my opinion being super political on social media that has your real name attached is trashy as shit. Everyone is nice in Seattle, they won't piss you off, but no one wants to be your friend. Because everyone already has their own friend group. It's difficult to meet brand new people because social circles are the base of friendships here. This is my experience living in my hometown, a semi-large Midwestern city. Completely impossible to make new friends. Going out solo to the bars on a Saturday night is impossible as everyone is in tight-knit groups, and trying to talk or work your way in resul…

Red Pill just tries to dehumanize women so you can use basic psychologically manipulative techniques to trick them. It's not real. Fuck no. It's because Molyneux is an ancap nutjob that convinces vulnerable people to give him money and isolate themselves from their family and support systems. If you live in a densely populated area you don't have to spend money at all. There are plentiful PokeStops (where you get free supplies on a timed basis) so unless you get super into it you don't have to buy anything (yet, that will probably change in a few months.) But yeah, it sort of a waste of time. If I wasn't meeting people with it I wouldn't even bother.

Read Strauss' autobiography "The Rules of the Game". One of the most illuminating aspects of the book was how dysfunctional all the figureheads of PUA were. Mystery (the man initially portrayed as being the most in control and the most alpha) had multiple nervous breakdowns over the course of the book and got terminal oneitis several times. Lifting is of course the #1 to correcting the muscle imbalances that lead to bad posture in the first place, but here are some tips in the meantime. Stand in a neutral stance, then push yourself up on your tiptoes. Your chest will naturally go up and your back will straighten. Take note of how your upper body is now positioned, and keep it in that position as you lower yourself back to your feet. This is how your posture should be all the time. Another tip. Stand in a neutral stance, then focus …

Big thing to do is stand with a neutral stance, and push yourself up on your tiptoes. Your chest will naturally go up and your back will straighten. Take note of how your chest and back are positioned, and focus on keeping them in that position as your lower yourself back to your feet. That's how your posture should be all the time. Another thing to do is stand with a neutral stance and force your heels inward. Your glutes will tighten and your back will straighten.

It can, but you have to be actively working on yourself and putting yourself out there as well. I've been in situations pre-RP where I should have been slaying it, but because I wasn't actively trying to improve myself I was spinning my wheels. Get your nutrition straight. To paraphrase the bodybuilder Ronnie Coleman: everybody wants to be an alpha, but nobody wants to actually improve themselves. There are no real quick tips, other than stop jerking off and get your diet right. Start hitting the gym using a program like 5/3/1 if you're a total noob. Form videos for the lifts are plentiful on YouTube. Never pay for fitness advice or programs online, all that info is freely available. To echo what the other dude said, there is no real "RP" way of reacting. But you basically reacted correctly. You didn't get worked up, threaten anyone or give them a reaction they might have been looking for. This is a shitty answer compared to what you want to hear, but it's the right answer: you have to want it for yourself. You can't pin your hopes on that at the end of this you'll be getting all the pussy and all the professional success. There's no guarantee you'll be successful at the end of this. There is no real "end" of this process. But by improving yourself mentally through education and physically through lifting, you have a 100% better chance of being successful than if you just sat ther…

Interesting that transgender is so high up on the ladies list, they must include male-to-female trans and other not born female profiles in the results. In my opinion, that means the data is tainted right out of the gate. I have an OKC profile that I haven't updated in months but still get visitors to. I've noticed an upkick in trans and gay dudes visiting my profile and sending messages, despite the profile specifically saying I'm not into either.

Apple cider vinegar is also the cure for warts, no joke. Had a wart the size of a pencil eraser on my hand since I was 16, nothing could get rid of it. No one is going to watch her in a mainstream romantic comedy (where she's pining after a hot guy) after knowing she's gay. Which I find strange. John Oliver has said multiple times that HBO told him during his transition to the network that he can say anything he wants without worrying corporate. Based on what he's done on his show, it seems to be true.

It's a well documented phenomenon that a career woman (has to be in control/responsible all the time at work) with more money than the male partner typically likes the man to be head of the household. It's like she wants a break from being dominant and just wants to be submissive for a while. Not always, but more than you think.

I strongly advise against Starting Strength for the average guy looking to get into lifting. It's a program for powerlifters, and it's dirty little secret is that you'll get rock solid legs and lower back, and a shitty underdeveloped everything else. If you're a bro that just wants to look good with your shirt off (90% of people), Starting Strength is NOT for you.

I've noticed that as more men have realized how bullshit "just be yourself" is, girls have pivoted and hamstered it into something else. "What we mean by 'just be yourself' is to be 'the best version of yourself'." What the fuck is that even supposed to mean? They don't even know themselves, but it makes them feel better I guess.

A good friend of mine that has a bit of a following online (he's a funny online writer) once made a post criticizing how much effort and money is spent on breast cancer, while there is nary a peep about the other more deadly forms of cancer. His nonsmoking mother had died of lung cancer the year before, which is what prompted the post. Lung cancer has 3x the annual deaths compared to breast cancer. Cultural shit, on both men and women. Work and work-related social obligations taking up a majority of time for many people, leaving little to no time for relationships/children. Having children is apparently career suicide for women in Japan, women with children become discriminated against and have a hard time being hired again.
