I guess thats it- it was chance for them to redeem themselves and just be a better human towards me. All I got over the past month is empty apologies and no change.

Yes, that's the plan-- I don't think I'll ever unblock him now. Is it weird I feel guilty for blocking him out of the blue?

Yes, it is my first serious breakup, and it took a toll on me because of some really harsh comments he said( commented on my weight after gaining 5lb during the first half of the pandemic). He def is an NVM -- I think I'm still hyper-fixated on proving to him that I am/was worth it and was the best thing that's ever happened to him. Even though I don't want him back, I think it's just deeper-rooted issues alongside a bruised ego. You're right- I talk to myself but then end up overanalyzing and…

Yes, it sucks rn and probably will for a while as it doesn't go away overnight. But I promise you'll feel better than before in no time. Take care.

Hey, I broke up with my ex-bf of 6 months because he cheated on me in early September. I was told he fell out of love and was bored hence the cheating. Till date, doesn't make sense - but I know how hard it is. I was devastated, I lost 15 pounds, would basically sleep and cry all day. We went back and forth for 2 months until 2 weeks ago when I officially ended things because it was getting too much. Yes, I still feel blindsided and heartbroken but I am not as heartbroken and it doesn't consume …

Just don't blame yourself for it and yes, it made space for someone better who can actually communicate rather than just leaving at the first sight of something out of the blue. Also, never regret what you said and did at the moment because in that specific time, that's exactly how you were feeling and it was validated bc that's how you felt. Tbh, good luck to him for finding someone without insecurities lmao.. bc everyone comes with their own baggage. Also, try reading the book "Attached"- it r…

Idk how useful this comment will be but I know when I feel something is up- I tend to act of character. If you were respectful of his boundaries and showed him that you trusted him by doing what you mentioned above- that should be enough for the span of four months. Hence, when you felt he was acting slightly shady then you said what you said. How he behaved is kinda uncalled for because the comment wasn't that big of a deal and could've been handled with just a slight reassurance tbh. So rn, yo…

Hey, I went through something similar in July 2020. Where my ex stated that I gained quarantine weight (it was only 5 pounds) and he wasn't as sexually attracted to me anymore. I made the mistake of not dumping him than staying with him for another few months. During that convo, he started bawling and saying he was a shit boyfriend etc. Which now I REALIZE is manipulation lmao. BUT learning from my scenario I'd recommend, just dump him- he crossed one boundary and knows it, he will continue to c…

Hey, I went through something very similar a few months ago (24 years old on this end). Here it was a few months, and mine was about a few weeks of turning around completely. Tbh, you don't deserve this; I learnt it the hard way that one shouldn't be begging for basic human decency and respect. It really does not take that long to say, "Hey, I'm a bit busy or hey, my mental health isn't the best rn." Hence, why you should stop the torture on yourself and wonder what is going wrong or why he's di…

Idk, if this is me being too nice or still having some sort of soft corner cause feelings don't disappear that easily. I just sat here wondering the what if's - like what if he was trying his best but I guess his best was not what I wanted. Thats why i feel guilty that maybe lowkey I was the toxic one..

I was told the end of July 2020, that my 5-10 pound weight gain during quarantine had him feeling less physically attracted to me.. But said he loved me for my personality. Well everything changed Aug 2020, and he went on dating apps because he was "bored" and claimed it was bc he fell out of love. Idk how one falls out love within 3 weeks of saying he loves me a lot more.. LMAO.

Yeah, that I blocked him. Idk if its me being too nice but I hate breaking relationships! I really tried but again, you cant give someone more you if they didn't appreciate the first time?

I blocked and deleted him and even shut down his ideas of the future. I just don't know how to stop sulking over this and like detach myself which is hard on its own.

I just don't understand like he came back and then started being distant a week into being "friends" when I had a feeling he was talking to other women (I'm like 99% sure there's someone else or multiple women). I just don't understand how someone can treat anyone like this? I just want to stop being jealous tbh. It's been only a week since proper no contact but still. He's also blocked and deleted on all platforms.

It's a shitty feeling, I never wanna feel this way again. So I guess, I'll believe he was talking to other women as his replies started to get delayed again etc.

I thought I knew but I feel now when I get hella anxious, I get it in my stomach? IDK, I'm just so confused, I guess if I suddenly get this rush of anxiety it has to stem from my gut that something is wrong. The slow, sinking feeling was pretty high and then started to calm down but was still subtly there at the end of the day. SO IDK?

How do you distinguish gut feeling and anxiety? I just realized both happen in the same place for me (stomach is in knots/butterflies) and I feel physically sick.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
