Jesus, listen to yourself talk. Men have feelings, it's not that hard to understand. And, people with mental issues are likely to be up and down (or love/hate or whatever). He doesn't know what he wants clearly and neither of you seem functional enough to be happy together so I would drop him. Sometimes men find it hard to just have casual sex especially with an ex, I really don't understand what is confusing about that. It doesn't mean he "doesn't love sex" he just doesn't want meaningless sex …

I'm not doubting this is the case a lot of the time. I'm just saying I'm positive there are virgins who have gotten away with this lie and if I was in that situation I would trust in my ability to lie rather than hope that she isn't turned off by the truth. I think you're overestimating your abilities a bit. Maybe some guys are obvious virgins but surely some people know how to lie effectively. Telling the truth just seems like a good way to continue being a virgin at that point. If awkwardness is gonna ruin your chances, just let that happen no need to stoke the flames of rejection
