Debatably not under the same parameters as other "intelligences"
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 08:36 PM
3

I wouldn't call that being emotionally intelligent. And what does dealing with things better even mean?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 08:31 PM
1

Emotional intelligence is another debate in itself. I'll make a post about that later
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 08:29 PM
1

It's because I have doubts about whether emotional intelligence is really a thing or just empathy or having personality. I won't say it's perfect, but (regular) intelligence is at least quantifiable
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 08:26 PM
1

It's at least debatable

Lol makes sense to me

Oh so less anger vs more anger? Ok that's reasonable

Men have a greater capacity for violence. Women's violence is easily suppressed. Not sure if that's why women are less violent or it's just that women prefer other emotions.

This here. This right here makes sense

They're doing that for the man they want. He's arguing men have to put work in just to get anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/20 04:00 PM
2

Women don't want a bum guy. If he's broke, ugly, and no body likes him, he's unattractive to women. Men will however take a bum girl. AWALT. You want concrete examples of what traits men and women possess that would hurt a marriage? Is that what you're asking me?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/20 03:25 PM
2

Example: Women are attracted to men w/ looks, money, and status. How much each one is valued varies of course, but the point is men care more about looks primarily. Women care more about resources (roughly looks, money, status). I used "support" and you still reduce my argument to that lol. Could the reasons women divorce men be fueled by the nature of BOTH genders? Again, not solely, but play a significant role. One that is significant enough worth debating lol. Edit: wording
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/20 03:13 PM
2

AWALT isn't a single trait. It's an acknowledgement of many traits distinct to women. Men and women think and behave differently. Divorcing men doesn't prove AWALT. There's a particular trait/instinct(s) in women that supports why women divorce men in greater numbers. Equivocally, there are trait/instinct(s) in men that make them so divorce-able lol

I agree, think it'd make an interesting dissertation to compile all this data and make ALL those arguments. If only someone just put it in writing already... Gimme like a week to draft something up.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/20 01:57 PM
5

It supports theories like AWALT etc
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/20 12:25 PM
3

What? I'm saying the standards determining what a slut is took the effort of both genders. SOME women talk badly about other women and SOME men talk badly about other women. The fuck does my post history have anything to do this?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/20 01:14 PM

The reason why the red pill is debatable is for the controversial stuff that you mention. That's the "see the world for what is" core of the red pill. That's the stuff people have a hard time accepting. The good advice stuff is conveniently an effective approach to living this red pill world. It's all the debating that led to all these varied definitions of AWALT, Alpha, and frame. A lot of red- leaning posters here all have an idea of what these are, but it may still vary in exceptional cases. …
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 06:18 PM

He was almost there. It's the controversial stuff that even motivates OP 's post. There's just more he left out (or conflated)

The Wolf of Wall Street is made for men. The Matrix is made for men. Fight Club is made for men. Those other movies may be made for a different audience of men. But I'd argue that's a fairly new audience.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 01:48 PM

I mean there are "RP" movies and shows. They're just way less popular. I'd blame women for that lol

mainly guys who have no resources(no money/no status/no game) The thing is on and I keep finding evidence that goes against this maxim. For instance, I recently met a club promoter, a skinny average looking guy who is getting laid every weekend simply because girls find his job cool. Because OP doesn't find his job cool lol

The fact that women's attractiveness lowers as she ages beyond 30 is a cope?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/20 06:34 PM
1

I'm not sure it isn't tbh. I think not being ok with it is a more recent cultural shift. There have been and still are societies where having multiple wives was normal. Heck, even in the olden days, some men had concubines. OG plate spinners lol
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/20 12:59 PM
1

If only that's all women wanted
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/20 01:25 PM
1

And you don't think that could be a result of some woman's bad signalling? Even the "soft" examples were vague. Saying hi is an IOI? That to me is a bad signal. What's the incentive to assume a girl is interested?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/20 07:15 PM

Lol use this comment as a symbolic second upvote sir
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/20 07:12 PM

So basically what I read here, women can misread signals, but men can't?

A woman has pretty much decided whether she likes you within the first few minutes. Can you change her mind? Yes but it’s usually a waste of time and you could have spent that time improving yourself or doing some other fun activity. Why should I prioritize my desires over hers? If she has the liberty to send signals when interested, I should be able to approach when interested. If she's not interested she has the liberty to make it known as well. This is just further positioning women in the dr…

I don't think that's the point. Turtles are amazing too given their skillset/attributes. I think the point is, at the end of the day, we are animals and we're bound to have animal-esque tendencies. I'd argue we're the BEST species, but to nature, we're no more special than a turtle.

/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/20 03:08 PM

Hmmm good point.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/20 02:31 PM

Biological imperative is a good term. Sure any one person may not need sex, but it's instrumentally the thing that keeps our species going. It's an inmate drive. I think it's more surprising women don't feel the drive as opposed to men's "obsession" with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/20 12:20 PM
1

"Objectively." Arrd you got it lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/20 03:46 PM
3

It's not an overestimation (of themselves) if they rate women higher too. And for the sake of argument, their estimation matters just as much as women's self-estimation. That was a key point in OP post, both of these values matter The disparity between the two genders in self-perceived attractiveness is a matter of self esteem not anyone's ability to accurately appraise attractiveness. Which you said yourself was (and really is) subjective.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/20 03:10 PM
2

Did you just get from "men overestimate themselves" to "men's estimations are irrelevant"? What's even the argument here anymore lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/20 02:29 PM
2

I always felt bad for women that feel this way about sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/20 12:22 PM

Came here to say this. "Renewed sexual interest" doesn't mean a transfer (or at least permanent) of sexual interest. Once I get sick of this new girl, I'll be thinking about what my old girl is up to lol

Same. I think it was just the nature of being a man that helped formed the ideals I had and then I discovered redpill and the "manosphere." Finding theredpill for me was just affirmation w/ bonus material and a cheat sheet.
