I’d be careful about this idea. Personally, I’ve tried to approach girls and I basically remember each failure in excruciating detail. The more attracted I was to the girl the more I recall to the point of perfect sensory recall. Things like their faces, voices, smells, names, what they were wearing, how I felt and much more almost are all vividly remembered. Not only that, but the embarassing or painful memories often come into my mind suddenly and randomly almost like PTSD. To anyone who may b…

In addition to what Super_Solver said about the halo effect, smiling and laughter are signs of submission. Obviously, people submit to better looking people more often all else being equal thus the inequity you see when people react to jokes is to be expected.

Yea, you must be attractive. Girls never give me the look or any positive signals really. I'm working on it though. Lost 40 lbs already and plan on losing 30 more and putting on muscle. Maybe then I'll have those opportunities. Thanks for sharing.

Sounds like you're doing good for yourself. Good job.

That's really great stuff. Being self directed is extremely important. I'm also curious, if you'll indulge me a follow up question, what practical changes have emerged in your life? Have you been more successful with your career and finances? Getting laid more? Have more friends? In other words what has happened outside of your internal change?

How have others areas of your life changed now that you fulfilled your goal of becoming a solider and gained the skills and perspective associated with it?

There's been a few girls I've fucked that I've said probably less than 10 words to, and one of them was one of the best sex I've ever had. I've never had that sort of experience. Not sure what it would even look like. I'm interested to hear the story. I feel like sex should be more about acting upon that primitive instinct that is raw physical attraction, and relying on conversation in order to prime yourself into that attraction seems unnecessary and rooted in insecurity to me. Conversation has…

I know if I'm physically attracted to someone instantly. Just because I'm physically attracted to someone doesn't mean I'd fuck them though.

What you're saying about reality mostly makes sense, but doesn't do anything to help someone who is hamstering nor does it help identify hamstering. It's just saying hamstering will feel real to the person who is doing it which I think most people who come here would recognize is obviously true. The part that's missing that I think is relevant is that there are definitely internal and external signs when someone is hamstering. I'm a very introspective person so I constantly challenge my beliefs …

Why do you think it's hamstering? What outside of the conclusion that you think is beta makes you believe it's not genuine?

When I'm talking about this I mean after spending 5-10 hours with actually substantive conversation with the person. Then I feel comfortable. It seems like you are drawing from conclusions from the beta male archetype that can never make a move cause he thinks things have to be magical. I am not like that.

You're fearful of being judged based on your performance. Whether that's performance in the pick up itself (being funny, dominant) or doing the dead (sex). Naive guys think that if you just 'get to know' the girl well enough first, then you negate that pressure and she's not going to judge you in the way she might a guy who picked her up in a bar one night. You're relying almost on a friendship to cushion the blow. I'm certainly not fearless when it comes to women. In fact, I suffer from social …

What if, as the guy, you're not comfortable having sex within that timeframe and prefer to get to know someone a bit more even if it's for a fling? Does that mean you're at an inherent disadvantage?

I don't believe it's so straight forward, but I agree in person is more important than text overall.

That actually isn't up for debate. You have to approach them yourself. Period. So do you think I'm making up that I've done that before? Cause I don't see how that response follows at all unless you think I'm just trying to avoid approaching.

He's given 0 constructive feedback just insults. It's like a teacher whose response to a student coming for extra help is "BE SMARTER! SOLVE THE PROBLEM STUP111D!!" It's completely worthless and deserves no thanks. As for the balls to approach thing, I said in the OP I've approached before and the same thing has happened. Do you think the only thing that was wrong was not going up to her? Cause I think this story has some potential for me to improve my text game even if I'm not sure how.

I thought saying "let's go out this week" was basically equal to "when are you free this week." As for the falling into her frame via actually answering the question, I gave that a good amt of thought before I responded. The conclusion I came to was that my response, although it logically answers the question and doesn't fall into typical anti-shit test response categories, that it was aloof enough to count. I'm basically saying "I didn't do it cause I didn't feel like it" which from my perspect…

I've done that before and it's basically the same outcome and conversation flow once it reaches text. I've just decided to start post questions like this now and I figured this is a good one with since it isolates the text part rather well. Do you have anything specific constructive criticism about the texts?

It's not effective game, I'm well aware. I thought one ambiguous comment based on what she first told me would give a flavor of my personality and have her kind of wondering who it was and thus spark some emotion related to directly interacting with me as opposed to a straightforward "Hey this is x." Is that sort of "Idk who this is emotion" universally bad to spark via text?

I'm not interested in your rudeness and insults. Just constructive feedback if you have any. In particular, why is the last text cringey? I can't tell by myself.

One of the most insightful comments I've ever read here. Something about the way you phrased all these ideas I've heard before really fucking clicked. Thanks for this one.

Push/Pull should be a lifestyle. What does that mean exactly? I can't imagine in any sense how push/pull can be anything but a technique.

I try to read the studies behind claims, but there seems to always be a paywall or, at minimum, a password wall blocking my way. Do you have any good free resources or tactics for accessing studies?

While I'd like "real" friends right now I just want people I can spend time with. I'd like to have people to say go to the movies with or try out a new place to eat. I've been working on hobbies. I've just picked up photography so that I can try and make more friends among other things. I just got into it, but I can give it a shot. I also like all sorts of games and there are game clubs I can join, but I'm not sure if that's the best use of my time or the best way to get to know interesting peop…

Aren't all women indirect/covert?
/r/TheRedPill22/11/17 06:24 PM

It's not people changing at all. It's women having X (nAWALT in this case) and Y (AWALT) characteristics in them at the same time and circumstance being the arbiter for what you see at a given time. The illusion BP men buy into is not that X exists, but more so that X was/is the only reality. The illusion that the post talks about women falling into is not believing in Y because they've never experienced it or, if extended, by continuously rationalizing their displays of Y as PURELY circumstanti…
