INVOLUNTARY Sexlessness in males has been linked to violence It was for most of history, but after technology, crime how gone down as much as sex for men. We have less murders, less war and less violence than ever, but also less sex, less fertility, less relationships, and less relationship satisfaction. No one expected that... social scientists predicted more crime if sexlessness grew, and yet we are seeing the opposite. Will this suddenly slap and revert in just a few years and prove you right…

in favor of watching porn 5 hours a day. Even worse porn addicts I know don't spend more than 2 hours in that shit, and indeed they spend less time in that than they would have to with a real woman.

If he convinces enough guys on reddit into become porn addicted losers who don't approach women, the field will open for him. Ummm... Supposing you were right, it really would make no difference if that was the case because it is not 1 to 1, women are sharing top men anyway, those men with women are not leaving women for porn. It literally would not affect women at all, and at best free women from desperate men that they would never fuck.

It also feeds women's ego we try to get them, I'm not doing that anymore.

...it is a terrible experience knowing that she actually hates you but only tolerates your presence because you pay her. Well, plenty of men hate their shitty job, so I do not care she does not like it. It is still consent.

Agreed, but it is sad those poor men are also being shamed for using porn or giving up on dating, as clearly some women want to profit of their desperation. Very sad.

Men going in a self-directed way (avoiding the ACRONYM) and the sudden and humongous decrease in marriage among 20 year olds is one major factor in creating young sexlessness. Is that a bad thing? It seems it is only bad because sex currently has status, but maybe culture will change.

Or woman would rather choose to be single than settle for lower guy. I think it is better for everyone that way. Women do not get to marry down and guys do not get delusional and resentful with you.

We know that, but wonder why they work overtime to look empathic.

I don't think women care so much about their male children when they grow up, though. It makes sense as in the past men would die in wars or be killed, so women found emotional ways to get over men dying fast, just as they ended up fucking enemy soldiers after they killed her husband hours before.

Ever wondered why in modern times every generation gets taller than the previous? You have a good point, but genetics is not enough to explain why we got so tall so fast. Nutrition is a better explanation. It is kind of disheartening that I could have been 6 feet now if a doctor found and treated my hypothyroidism before being a teen, or at least parents were concerned about height and got me checked, but not.

Fuck whoever you want, just don't delude yourself thinking women are somehow punishing men that treat them as trash, they aren't. Privileged people are blind to their privilege. Women only find it out their sexual privilege when they lose part of it at older age.

You mean to say because men watch porn they will no longer try to approach women ? No, I mean men who do not go out to get women because they have no hope for that anyway. At least they are not to the point to get desperate to ask out knowing they have no future with women.

Thinking of women as “available to fuck” or “not available to fuck” instead of as someone to get to know, spend time with, like the company of, be in a relationship with, ect, is not going to improve sexual or relationship chances. Agreed, but I'm talking about the market of sex. If there is no sex, no relationship is possible. Women have that as a blind spot as they have no issue getting men for sex, but many men do have issues getting women for ANYTHING. Men who think of women like this genera…

The more you watch the less motivated you are to go out and take and take a risk to get sex Is that a bad thing people do not need others to get stimulated anymore?

Don't.

It seems like there is an implication of using porn instead of being in a relationship or having any kind of interactions with human beings. That’s a major issue for whoever is using porn in that way. The issue is that there are not enough women sexually available for all men. On top of that, Women also are freer now to live on their own and provide for themselves, so they do not need men on this context. Best men are already taken or committed, and women do not like sex without attachments as m…

Porn destroys your ability to become sexually aroused by normal sexual stimuli. Not an issue for men that cannot get any real woman in the first place and have no hope for it. When you finally do get in bed with a woman, the situation is likely to be very different than what you’re used to, which can lead to some awkward situations and disappointment for both sexes. Sure, but that is a situation they can deal with later. They can at any time stop porn consumption and improve themselves if the wo…

tinder That's the kind of public it attracts. It is a fucking application, though women do not need any app to get plenty of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 03:30 PM

No, because I'm not inviting men to stop pursuing women in any way and clearly porn has not dissuaded men from trying to get sex. I'm saying some men have no hope with women and I'm glad they have an outlet for their lust, but sadly they are being shamed and hated for that.

Boyfriends and husbands can become addicts. Just like alcoholics didn't start off as alcoholics. Maybe, but it is unlikely to affect you anyway, as men are so horny that porn is not enough to kill their drive for sex, so it is a win win... they get satisfied more and you keep getting sex and husband. Dudes like that have no life. They're not pursuing anything except their next big nut. Agreed, but that is a choice like any other. Some people decide to become priests or nuns and never have sex. S…

Your whole assesment seems to not be "the pros vs cons of porn" but more like "the pros vs cons of men watching porn while abstaining from interacting with women". Agreed, it was not the best title.

I think that the issue for many women is when a guy becomes porn obsessed and the guy lets it affect the relationship or the bedroom. Agreed, but those are couple issues. If he does not watch porn then he will be sexually frustrated and angry, which may be even worse.

I mean, it is not like porn will make your teeth to fall or kill your liver. Por addictions is not the worst of addiction and it can be socially tolerated, if it happens.

Porn is what teaches men who watch it to prefer porn images over real sex and real women, and encourages them to try to act out porn in real life Just pick other men? I mean, women have plenty of options. I'm not saying porn will improve social skills of men, but make men with bad social skills top bothering women as much; see it as a filter. Do you really believe men today feel more entitled to sex more than in the past? I doubt it, women in the past were like property, prizes for warriors and …

How are men becoming more socially adept by watching porn? Sorry, I did not explain myself better. I mean that men that are sexually adept and want to have sex with real women are more likely to go out instead of rotting themselves watching porn, so women get the benefit of those men being filtered (at least to some extend). Sex workers may experience stigma, but so do men who do disgusting jobs and such. It is part of life, they shall not care about that that much.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 02:24 PM

I don’t think that the number of men who are only into porn and aren’t eventually trying to attract actual women is that high. So glad it affects women even less than initially assumed? I mean, sure, some men want to do with real women what they watch on porn, but just let them watch porn and give them the vanilla sex and everyone is happy.

Also, women were okay with men using prostitutes? By choice? Really? Or were they just forced to swallow a shit sandwich because they didn’t have rights? No idea about the morality behind that, just pointing out horny is horny. Porn makes men less sexually frustrated, really? That’s interesting and news to me. I can’t say that it does the same for me because I still be feenin for the peen, but maybe that’s just me. If it does not make them less horny (although I believe it does) then porn is les…

You’re saying men will want sex less frequently with a partner if they use porn to satisfy their libido? No, they will get the same sex anyway as on average women want less sex than men anyway. Porn will just make them less sexually frustrated, like an equalizer. In the past it was prostitution and married women had no issue with men going to prostitutes, but today that changed, so porn may help a little.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 02:01 PM

I’m pretty sure guys who watch porn still pursue women IRL and still watch it while in relationships. Porn was never a replacement for relationships/sex with women. I guess it depends on the guy. Some guys just want a quick fix to their libido, others do want genuine relationships, women, or some other shit like that. Regardless, it is a net benefit for women for men to at least release part of that libido instead of those men being full sexually frustrated bothering women.

Ummm, do you really get anything from awkward and mentally ill men trying to date you? Except for a 2 second ego boost, that kind of men pursuing you will disgust you at best and scare you at worse. Most men in relationships also watch porn anyway, so it is not like those men are socially retarded in any way, on the contrary, they got the best of porn and the best of society. I really doubt the issues you point out in those men have anything to do with porn. If you are not empathic to those men,…

There is nothing lamer than a sexually desperate man looking for sex and relationships after failing at them. Giving up is a genuine, valid and mentally healthy way to handle such case.

I do not care as much, but the status it provides indeed is important for me and for life quality. If I could get married and have little sex but have children and just watch porn, that is OK for me.

If she values marriage and fertility, yes, she will have to marry down in most cases as there are not enough men her age that earn more than her and also want to marry her. If she likes being alone and family is not a priority, she may accept the possibility of dying alone and spend her money on wine or something.

I think women seem to appreciate men to be disagreeable in the sense they are free minds and have their own opinions. Charisma seems to be more favored for women. I think charisma/disagreeableness are those pairs of traits that may be good or bad depending on the person and how it relates to other traits, so I guess that is why it is not included.

If the game was rigged against women women would change it. You are not going to seat your ass in an uncomfortable They opened the sex market and now want to prevent old men for dating younger, so indeed they control a part of market but the other part will do what they want and women whining will not change that.

Police hated being held accountable so they acted like whiny little bitches and refused to do their job rather than allow any hint of reform or change. Likewise, men are acting like whiny little bitches in your scenario because they're not getting their dicks wet. So? They can, and they will, and let the society rotten. they have that power and so I'm glad they do. It is quite ironic women talk about "whiny" men given they are so emotional and complain so much about even letting the toilet tap o…

Harems are the best chance women will have to get access to top men with many resources. Many women today have no issue sharing those men or looking away if they "cheat", so in practice those harems exist. If hypergamy gets more extreme and women need also resources and more chances with those men, they will want some stability and that requires a centralized space to share with other women, just as in the past. Men will not be paying them apartments, and women will not fuck men without some exc…

This issue reminds me of slavery... I'm not trying to change the subject, just illustrate a point: Europeans in Middle Ages rejected slavery, so they approved it elsewhere, in America. Then America banned slavery, so they moved it to Latin America and Asia. Today it stays in Asia from where we get all our cheap shit. Maybe monogamy falling will be like shifting to no slavery at all. Maybe civilization is not possible with some oppression just as Western wealth was never possible without some for…

There is still the rule of law. Guns still exist. Law only works if people find it legitimate. If most men feel left out, they will not respect it and even feel morally compelled to reject it. Guns, meanwhile, can be owned by both Chads and normal men, so I do not know how the game will move but not only chads will have the guns. A small example is today how some cities became more crime oriented after the police was shamed as racist and evil. Sure, that was not the intention, yet that caused su…

Maybe. But we are assuming things that a lot of young women now want proven. They say 'why should we care about the reproduction and continuation of the species? Agreed, maybe wanting to reproduce is a stretch. Regardless, women clearly value relationships more and only few of them are open to share men, even knowing most of them will be on disadvantage and top men will not have any reason to stay with them only. Will they also accept that as they accepted not having children? I doubt it, but ag…

If their needs are met, and resources are in abundance, why would women care if they’re in a harem? More spread of those “chores” they hate, child care, etc. Sure, if they have no problem living as a replaceable wife. I guess the tradeoff of high value men is the fact you are just another one. Monogamy and exclusivity is old boomer stuff. It’s unnatural and a lot of people don’t want it. That is a dangerous argument. Sexual violence may as well be natural, so can be social classes that make mast…

Why can't women who are not able to monogamously land the men they desire simply opt out altogether? I doubt it would happen, as it did not happen in periods of high levels of hypergamy. Regardless, I admit I have no idea how technology will affect these odds. Maybe women can be as selective as they fucking want and everything will be fine for them once society adapts to the women's new hardline that they will never, ever, fuck men they don't find attractive again. I find it amusing women hate videogames and porn and other "nerdy" activities so much, as those men would literally have nothing to lose if they were not distracted by those things. The downside for women is that those men will not put much effort in them either, just enough to get laid and easily give up as they can get an orgasm using only images on a screen. The downside for men is... well, they will not know their full potential, but honestly there is not much point to use your potential in …

No but inversely just because we are humans doesn't mean we are excluded from the natural order of things. Human intelligence and capacity to create moral and legal systems is also part of the species' nature. Sure, you can default to biology, but I doubt women will like to be part of a harem and be treated as property as those animals do, yet who knows... maybe women do want that but they deny it because social conditioning? No idea.

Yes but often those species of mammals the female does all the work of rising the youth. I doubt those feminists would like those top men to treat women as most male mammals treat their females, as disposable property. In humans and birds, monogamy is more common because it takes effort of both parents to care for the egg / kid. Civilization is also made on the premise of a baseline of fairness, justice and distribution. Otherwise it makes no difference to contribute to it and rather make it fal…

I find it funny some women using evolution as an excuse to justify hypergamy, as often in nature males are very violent to women and when few men had all sexual partners most women were treated as disposable, specially as you get older. Civilization is made of men's surplus and hope for them to make a family. If they are not having that, they will just contribute even less or spend it all on themselves, instead helping society. Another issue is genetics. Imagine two or three generations for now,…
