Item 2 is massive financial exposure for you and will deeply impact your ability to procure new financing. This can set you back years financially by being forced to rent long term. Also you will be absolutely tied to her ability and willingness to pay the loan- if she defaults YOUR credit will be racked.

Nope- not dr Phil. Just a person who managed an ugly divorce and has highly- ridiculously highly- successful adult children who lived through the nightmare. I suffered infidelity- but i cared enough for my kids well being to shield them from the ugliness. And i was smart enough to look beyond my own selfish emotional needs and to look out for them.

Nope- not a grandma yet. But if the grandma is telling you that, she is absolutely correct. You have profoundly damaged your children by putting them in the middle. I’m sorry your wife cheated on you- that’s awful. However- your kids absolutely should not be fodder in your war against your wife. Good luck to you and your family.

No I actually didn’t cheat, but I do know 100% the children, even pseudo-adult children —-and by the way 16 and 18 are not adults —- but in any case —- the adult children are absolutely extremely and profoundly damaged by the knowledge that has been parted by them. Both parents here suck but the dad putting the kids in the position of having to be in the middle of the situation and hearing about their mom‘s infidelity does those children no favors whatsoever. 100% no doubt about it those kids ar…

Unfortunate that you have traumatized your kids by allowing them to have access to that information. You’ve won in the short term but your kids will be paying for that trauma for a lifetime. Kudos to you for spreading your own hurt and hate for your wife onto your kids. Start saving for therapy for them now- they’re going to need it.

It would be embarrassing for your kids for this to come out in the community. I would keep it to myself. Once you open that door you can’t undo it.

Honestly - you shouldn’t have sex if the person you’re with is impaired. I know this sounds ridiculous but it’s true.

Wait - your mom lives with you? Are you sure you can’t salvage the marriage by getting your mom onto her own two feet? I mean- any mother or mother in law living in a home is going to put a lot of stress on a family.

I personally know someone- a former sheriff and general bad ass- who suffered a severe stroke- a literal life altering stroke that permanently damaged him neurologically to the point he no longer works- from a chokehold. Being choked can irreparably damage you. Stay safe out there sisters- gratifying a man’s desire to abuse you as ‘play’ can turn very ugly.

The last one is comedy GOLD. 5’6 and 290 pounds? That guy should work on being able to find his dick underneath those hefty folds of flubber before he tries to rope in another woman. What a clown. A fat, obese clown but a clown nonetheless.

I have successfully raised two kids and they are grown and super motivated and high achievers. I will absolutely not be investing my precious time and energy into helping raise or parent any other children. I will also not even consider dating a man who has grown children- unless they are mentally, physically and financially healthy. I will not be paying for anyone to send their kids to college, or rehab, or helping them buy a home. Hard NO.

100% . I would absolutely never even consider dating a man with minor children and would only consider dating one with adult children if they were all mentally well, employed, and unlikely to be a burden to me. I’m not sending anyone else’s kids to college or rehab. Hard FUCKING NO

Yes. Seriously wish someone would have told me about this issue from pregnancy and I’m happy to share this with my sisters out there. Hemorrhoids are awful - fucking AWFUL- and they are 100% caused by pregnancy in my case. My only remedy is surgery and even surgery doesn’t solve the issue. Once you get them… you’re just pretty much fucked. Buyer beware.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/01/22 07:22 AM

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it’s true. I’m literally in decent shape, have excellent medical care and plenty of money and access to deal with health issue. Hemorrhoids are fucking REAL and debilitating. Seriously- google this shit before your agree to get pregnant. It’s a gift that isn’t a gift and goes on and on and ON.

Can we just throw in there for good measure the horrible hemorrhoids pregnancy causes? Horrible. And long fucking lasting. Once you get them from pregnancy you will literally have flares of hemorrhoids for the rest of your life unless you get surgery to remove them.

Having a partner like this makes life very, very difficult. I raised two kids with a partner like this (and worse- frankly) who would constantly berate me and call me lazy. He also would makes jokes about burying me in a shallow grave where noeone would ever find me. It slowly- but surely- escalates into more severe abuse and trauma. This will NOT get better for her. I’m saddened by how porn has created men who just can’t get off unless they’re hurting a woman. Porn escalates and escalates and the term porn sick (learned here) is very true.

I’m a woman and agree 100% with the advice to hire a lawyer and advocate for yourself. You may eventually want to get remarried or date and the crushing responsibility of financially providing for another human- forever until they die- will absolutely eventually crush you. Don’t do it. Don’t commit to it, hire a reputable attorney who specializes in divorce, and take their advice.

Finding a man who enhances your life is really really difficult. Like, the odds are slim to none and slim left town. I’m sorry to have to report this but it is sadly my experience. I’ve learned to enjoy a fabulous vibrator, have great girlfriends, and have my own hobbies. There is no room for a soul sucking man child who will inevitably cause me emotional harm, if not physical. It was absolutely devastating to me, to my family, to HIS family, to her family and to our community. It was really, really horrific. My sons were 9 and 12, and she was like a stepmom to them. They all lived together, my ex husband and she had purchased a house together, and my sons spent about 35% of their time at my ex husband new home. My husband - after we divorced - bought a house with his affair partner. When SHE decided to leave, he couldn’t deal with it, and stalked her, strangled her to death, and buried her in a shallow grave. She left a daughter orphaned as a result. Disclaimer- i am a woman. But i do think the advice resonates with men too- booze is not going to help. Alcohol and alcoholism can fuck up your life in every which way- sometimes permanently. Seek counseling and be kind to yourself. Exercise, meditate, read, go to AA... i can 100% guarantee you that you will look back on this time and be thankful that you were able to exit out of this toxic relationship. Peace to you.

I disagree but we can agree to disagree. I have raised incredibly kind, successful, hardworking and stable kids- they are adults now and I seriosuly couldnt be prouder. What worked for us was trying as best as I could to shield them from their nigthmare father. They figured out eventually who he was and who they could rely on. Your kids should have never heard about the dirty details of your divorce. 100% agree.... and the changes in behavior will take multiple generations for men to accept and internalize the work in the home they need to commit to. We still have women both bringing home the bacon, and cooking it up. And cleaning up after.

Well.... you do you .... but any woman you are paying to have a sex with you is pretty much revolted and forced to do so because of either being trafficked or horrific life circumstances. You are absolutely taking advantage of women living in poverty if you engage in this. Have a great time on vacation whatever you decide to do.

You hired a lawyer and probably should listen to her advice. Good luck

I wish you peace and love. You may never get the apology you are owed and it may be a good idea to accept this. Get your education paid for if possible and use his behavior as an example of the type of person you do NOT want to be married to.

I didn’t say anything about money- when I reference the work needed,, I’m talking more about developing an emotional intelligence that would attract a good woman. And jeez, what’s up with the repeated references to cats and wine? I don’t have cats and I don’t drink.

Hello- a couple of things - I am actually very attractive from an empirical perspective- I am however tall at 5’9. I do think that other women having it ‘easier’ is pretty misleading. You pay one way or another, and I chose to pay by building my own business and making a career. A woman who is stay at home and beholden to her husband to -hopefully- provide financially for her and her kids pays another way. I am fine with how I’ve chosen to live. I’m also in my forties now, and you’re totally rig…

Lol. I’m no princess.... nor am I sour. It’s really not about somebody being good enough for me, it’s about finding somebody that has compatible traits that work in my life. I’ve found that bringing a dude into my life just isn’t worth the risk/reward. No bad feelings about it. Good luck and I hope you find what you’re looking for.

Pretty funny, thanks for the laugh. Like I said, no animals for me, and I don’t drink booze. You’re right, I do have a friend group of very capable hardworking and kind women who seem to have always had my back.... I’m very lucky to have found such a great group of friends. I feel for men in this time of history, it seems some men yearn for a pre feminist time, things sure were easier back when men didn’t have to compete with 50% of the population....the bar was set much lower. I would say that …

Lol. Love it, thanks for posting. No, I don’t need accolades from anyone, I just find the perspective and opinions interesting. I appreciate hearing how men think and gaining validation as to why dating isn’t interesting to me. We are very, very different and understanding the male mindset is valuable for me. I have male friends, I just came back from a long run with a great guy and I love talking with him. But it’s both disheartening and empowering to know what he’s REALLY thinking... and more …

LOL. That is tacitly untrue, I have never had an issue with available and interesting men displaying an interest in spending more time with me. I selected to be very successful and do the work it takes to build a business precisely because I did not want to be beholden to any man's control over me. Thank you for sharing your thoughts... your perspective is precisely why I have 0 interest in dating...if your perspective is how the majority of men feel I will very happily stay single and find my o…

LOL Henry. No cats or animals for me to get to take care of! I took care of a man child for many years and can't tell you how wonderful it is to be rid of that burden. Life is pretty awesome as a single woman with a successful life. Taking care of another needy man isn't in my future, nor is taking care of any hairy animals. It is a wonderful time to be alive and a wonderful time to be a woman. Never in history have women had the choice to NOT have to pander to a man to be supported......and wha…

Reading these remarks, as a driven and super capable woman, I am so happy I am highly successful and will never need to depend on any man to care for or support me. There is an incredible amount of rage against women out there in the world and I am SO thankful to have this forum to see the real and genuine perspective so many men have about women. Ill go back to cold calling for business now......

Lol. No.... I am very, very successful. Going on welfare is never going to be an issue for me. Part of what drives me to be so productive with my time and business is the insistence that I will never need to depend on a man to support me. It’s a very powerful and happy place to be.

Thank you, but truthfully I’ve removed myself completely from the dating pool. I have literally no interest and the hatred of women I seem to find in a variety of places just confirms it for me. Reading online about ‘diminishing returns’ of women as they age or any of the other nonsense I seem to keep coming across sourced from the opposite gender just keeps affirming for me where I need to be - which is removed from the dating pool. I’ll find my own happily ever after by myself. There’s not muc…
