It's hard to have an adult conversation about either. Men and woman both have common negative behaviors, that some, but not all take part of. I feel it's fine to be critical of what women do. But that means we shouldn't be shilling to throw out the whole damn gender.

There are dubious studies out there that claim that women do 300% of the domestic work while working full time and saving the world. There's such a thing as being technically correct while also being misleading. The famous 70 cents on the dollar claim thrown around about women getting paid less is correct in the sense that women make less than men. But they don't factor in hours worked, or the differences of relative compensation between jobs held by typical men and women. It won't matter to wom…

The birds and the bees, and supply and demand. I know the human population is roughly a 50-50 split, but I feel like technology makes it feel much much worse in terms of dating. You could be forgiven for thinking that men and women of equal value pair off, but that isn't what happens in practice. Using the infamous "x out of 10" scale, you'll see most of the "lower value" women just outright ignore "lower value" men. There's a YouTube channel called HoeMath that does a really good job visually r…

Everything is now about the liberal tenants of feminism, minority worship, and LGBbXYZQ_Qbears. This is why most modern incarnations of beloved franchises are all ruined. Dated a woman once who had this view. I am a creative, so I was telling her how I think it's a betrayal to the fans and the spirit of the IP to use it to grandstand for politics. She said that she thought the opposite. "If you have a platform: use it!" is what she told me. So there you have it. All your favorite entertainment i…

Then get off reddit and make friends with people without daddy issues. I'd bet that places like TwoX and FDS have appallingly low amounts of women who had had stable fathers growing up. Without a proper father figure, you end up going for the worst men possible, then whine about your experience with them. It creates a circle jerk feedback loop of negative sentiment towards men. And really, you never had a chance. When the welfare state stepped in and kicked men out of the family unit, it created…

It never stops with people like you. Zero accountability. You're not absolved of morality because someone else is willingly doing something nice for you. "This drug addict isn't a leech because the state is choosing to pay him welfare!" "My friend gave me the shirt off his back and he's freezing. Sure, he couldn't afford to, and I didn't really need it, but it's his fault for giving it to me." The example we discussed is also under other pressures. If she's his wife, and they have kids, it's sup…

So, Leech == diva? Nice euphemism you have there. Don't let a small thing like accountability affect how you see the world. Go off kween 💅

So? Him having a job isn't the point. He's using his resources, pulled from having a job, to pay her way. I don't have a man paying my way through life. If I did, I would owe him though. This woman sounds like she doesn't give anything remotely equal back to the working man.

It's not part of the narrative. Women are naturally compliant. They make better serfs. Better to rob men of their means so they can't resist. Then, give some of the spoils to women so that they can cheer for it. Tell everyone men are the problem and cut in women on the spoils. All this while holding zero accountability for women who partake. Boom, western society.

Just like my buddy's wife. She quit her church when they came out in support of the repeal of Row v Wade. It's the craziest thing to me. White, affluent, good neighborhood, good family, and 3 kids they had to try hard to have. She would likely never get an abortion. And yet she's ready to die on that hill like she aborts every other Tuesday. I don't get it.

Their oppression largely comes from the comparison of the same. Men who work low paying jobs are invisible unless they're crazy attractive and/or bad boy vibes. So the only men they "see" are doing amazing things, often without her. The average 5/10 female thinks she rates Christian Grey. That rejection they get from top/desirable men fuels this comparison further. So white men (because let's face it, feminist are liberals) become the literal devil because they're all Jeff Bezos or the asshole f…

I love how our entire legal system it predicted on "innocent until proven guilty" except for men in domestic relations court. You can be the most broke, borderline abusive POS with a drug dealer boyfriend and you still get custody over your stable provider man. But the man doesn't need custody, or his money, according to the domestic relations courts.

I think they're nepo babies. Most Hollywood big names are leftys. Their kids are coddled from cradle to graduation in the richest parts of multicultural California. They don't see any of the strife with people of other races, creeds, or religious because they're insulated with money. They can't understand the inherent mistrust that different races have for each other, nor can they fathom why people chafe under condescending female leadership. They just think we're a bunch of uneducated neanderth…

I think you put it beautifully. As much as we hate it, this is how things are. I think there's a certain comfort in admitting it. I think the best thing we can do is maintain a system where competition is as sportsmanlike as is possible. To me, this isn't about coddling men the same way we coddle women. It's about recognizing the pecking order and finding value in the position you inhabit. Not everybody can be the president, CEO, or the winner of the race. Society should exist to accommodate as …

If women are fully functional adults, then I assume they can make the proper arrangements to prevent pregnancy before letting every man in sight go in raw? It's your body, right? So take care of it.

If the woman decides to have a child without the father wanting to be involved, it sounds like she needs to come up with that money herself. This is the cultural world you wanted. Live in it.

We have decided as a society that sex is for fun. You wanted feminism, so that's what it is. If you want to clutch your pearls because a man had sex, then maybe you'd be more interested in a super conservative patriarchal society? I can think of a few places like that.

I have a lot of the same (male) buddies from Highschool. Almost all of them make great money, have cool hobbies, and are mostly great citizens. I love my wife, but she refuses to find a better job because she's comfortable with the one she has that barely pays anything. She switched to that from a high paying job. Now the financial burden is 100% on me, and if I encourage her to make more then I'm "being an asshole." Like, as a straight man I have very little chance of being with someone who mak…

The big thing is that men can be big, loud, and aggressive. It's an easy thing to target. When a big man pushes down a small woman it's obvious to take the side of the woman. The reputation damage to a man is a slow poison, but it's no less effective. A woman's accusation means legal trouble, possible incarceration, or ostracization. Losing your job and being unhirable is nearly a death sentence on it's own. Imagine losing your friends, the love of your family, and more because you get a false a…

This is true. Just take a short jaunt outside this subreddit, and it's women preempting their divorce and eventual child support windfall everywhere. Argue against it, and well, you're an incel/loser/mentally handicapped/bigot/misogynist/small dick/(and most bafflingly of all)gay. What's worrying is all these male feminists, posing as normal men, repping this nonsense. I just saw a thread where a woman got a birthday card she didn't like. She complained about "meNtAl LoAd" per the norm, and will…

It's a threat to them. The older women get, the more they wish they were young. This is because their youth was when they had power over others in the form of desire. It's every woman's worst nightmare to be replaced by the next wave of women. This is why our domestic relation laws are the way they are. Think about a man abandoning his wife for a younger hotter woman. The law punishes this. People scorn this. Now imagine the reverse...nobody bats an eye.

It's never popular, and it never will be. It simply gets to a point where it boils over. Average men are the cogs of society. We aren't loved, but we're necessary for everything to function. When we get fed up, that's when revolution occurs

This reminds me of an exchange I had in chemistry class. There was a girl there who was from the grade below me. She was an honors student, because she was in the class of a grade level above her own. She turns to me and asks "Hey, do you understand any of this?" "I'm not 100% sure, but I'm getting there." "Oh. Well maybe you can explain it to me. I have no idea." "Yeah, but aren't you an honors student?" "Oh you assume I'm smart. I'm not that smart. I just do really pretty poster board projects…

I've been there too, as a single dad. One of the great benefits of being in a relationship is being able to have a division of labor. But having a division of labor doesn't mean writing snarky comics because your husband left something up to you.

Thanks for the thoughtful response. I think it's an argument of degrees when we talk about who has it worse for what. We're all under the gun if you're not in the upper classes. It isn't my intent to say that women have nothing to fear. But, from what I've seen women have more access to safety nets, both socially and through state benefits. For example I have a relative who is a horrible drug addict and human being. She somehow finds her way through state funded "mommy-and-me" courses and couch …

The hardest thing? Society's perception and indifference to us. Probably the biggest mistake made by our cultural zeitgeist is that men are privileged. The issue here is that this idea is based off of the top 10% (or smaller) of men. Of all possible choices, being a top man is likely the best there is. If you can stay on top, of course. But as they say, it's lonely at the top. To be a "top male" you need to have had considerable luck in your birth and beyond. Height, looks, intelligence, and mos…

Two-and-a-half years ago after her divorce, the cybersecurity engineer embarked on a retreat to Scotland with Mia Banducci − an author and self-described "Spiritual Fairy Godmother," better known online as Mia Magik." We're peddlers of meat in an all vegan buffet. Sure, the meat may be the answer to everyone there, including the anemic vegan men, but it's easier for their world view to just hate us. Change is hard, so change must be bad. So in attempting to change the course of society, we are bad.

This. So much this. We're all here drawing imaginary lines based on dumb things like race and religion, meanwhile these guys are altering policy around their interests. Their money is like gravity; it puts laws in orbit of it. I doubt very much that a white billionaire gets upset when his daughter marries the son of a black billionaire. They're from the same caste and clan already: money.

One of my relatives is a drug addict; not one with a minor problem, but one that has all the devastating life effects they warn you about in high school. She never has a job, never has a car, and never has a place of her own. And yet, she seems to be able to get from place to place without providing any compensation to anybody. She's 39 now, with no career or savings under her belt, just some kids she's pushed out that she lost custody of. If she were a man, she'd be dead. I'm sure of it. Nobody…

On one hand, I think this sub attracts men who have been through the ringer with relationships. It's just an anecdotal observation -- it's what brought me here. There's a lot of truth on this sub, and it isn't widely known or accepted in other places. It's horrible to struggle in silence as many of us do. It's worse when the world at large denies that we do. Most men are invisible to most women. So they see women choosing to throw their lot in with guys who have red flags that are visible from 1…

Likely doing those activities from hand out programs paid for by male taxes, alimony, or child support. I wonder how many women would drop the "I don't need men, I'm fully independent" act if said act disqualified them from the handouts?
