Those are international conventions, so not a single chapel where everyone knows each other. And I'm very shy, often the only member of the chapel I actually I’m a member. People don't like me at first glance. In fact, I have very few male friends. We've gotten to know each other over the years. This is even more true with girls. I've only ever been approached for hookups, I've never received any interest in a serious relationship by any girl. In fact, I live with the fear of not being perceived…

Sometimes they are in a group but distracted because they are not participating in the conversation, or just passing by, etc.

Yes. Actually irl I got feedbacks way more often by underage girls. 18-22 more on dating apps. Older girls do not likes me often. But it seems awkward to me to do the first move when the age gap is big.

Same age as you. Got more approaches from girls between 18 and 22 than above.

Not every girl likes me, that's for sure. But there's no shortage of girls who like me. I've even been a model. And I'm not in a particularly good-looking environment. It's a super-minority religious group where I know everyone on a national level. Aesthetically I have no competition, unless I'm not the type for one girl at all.

It's a religious niche, where I'm objectively the most attractive. And I am in general. The biggest paradox in my life is that, if I'd started being sexually active the first time I was approached, I'd probably have a body count in the hundreds and hundreds. Because I'm not short of matches on dating apps either, etc. But when it comes to wanting something serious, one word is enough to get ghosted. And online I could still understand it, but in person? If it takes that little to reject me, desp…

I've never approached someone coldly, and I don't know if I ever will. But being part of a minority religion, where the only ways to get to know each other are at international conferences, I fear it will be the only way.

Similar age, same situation. I hope God rewards my sacrifices in the end. I was a model, and I literally had to send my ID to several dating sites because I was banned for being perceived as a catfish. No one wants to date me seriously online, and in person I'm perceived as weird. And I have to see teenagers, ugly ones, half my age having relationships.

But I can't just go and meet her "accidentally" in her small town. She will really thinks I'm crazy. Yes, I don't want to keep her as my only opportunity, but she's the best actually. There are conventions where I can meet people, but I have trouble meeting people in just one day. Too many people all at once, possibly in groups where they already know each other. Difficult terrain even for very bold guys. We'd interacted much more continuously with her, and she seems like a simple and good girl.

If I could, I'd chat about this and that and then ask her out straight away. But circumstances don't allow that. I have to wait a long time and at that point we will be in two different countries

She's currently in another city in the same country and will continue doing so for a year. After that, she'll return to her hometown. But unless we know each other better and there's no clear interest on her part, it's a bit premature to think about moving…

Second issue: whenever I've met someone on dating apps who wanted something serious, they've always perceived me the wrong way. If I show attention, they tell I’m doing lovebombing. If I don't, I don't seem interested enough. If I'm completely honest, I'm seen as something broken because they don’t find justifiable that I haven’t done anything yet.
/r/seduction30/03/26 09:48 AM

There's another factor. I'm telling you this because I was a model. I still get attention, just like I did at school. Even from pretty girls, with a 10+ years age gap. The problem is that the girls who make the first move tend to be promiscuous. The few girls I’ve been on a date have made sexual advances on me on the first date. I'm completely unwilling to do anything before marriage. And I want someone who's equally oriented. Those who are this way don't show their interest too obviously. Somet…

Actually, the opposite. If she has kids with me, we have to make things work. And for her, good luck finding someone else like me if she has kids.

If we can date when she's free from this commitment, we'll have a maximum of four months of dating before proposing. My mental health matters too. And that would already be almost two years since we first spoke. Considering we won't be able to see each other for almost a year…

I wrote it, there are rules. I don't decide them. If we can't speak explicitly, let alone go out alone or even physically escalate. Honestly, my only problem is that I believe in "Out of sight, out of mind." To be honest, I don't even think I have much competition. But the fear remains, and I'd like to keep the presence alive.

We're not at the stage where we can talk about projects right away. I think she likes me. More than anything, I'd like to let her know that I'm interested too and that I'm willing to wait to get to know her better. But these are not things I can say openly, unless I talk to her privately. I don't know what formula to use so that she understands but without others understanding too much

I can't ask for her number, nor to go out right now. I want to respect these rules and not cause her any problems. However, I would like a slightly more explicit form of confirmation and some kind of contact, even if I have to wait.

I'm not linguistically out. All the numerical evaluations and language remain part of how I express myself linguistically. I've just realized that no matter how much I improve my appearance or my wallet, no one will want me for anything serious.

It looked more like an escort agency than a modeling agency. I don't know how common it is, but I'm afraid it's the norm in these environments. In my country, there was a similar big scandal recently about a popular TV show, regarding auditions.

We’re all cluster B if we are obsessed with looks, being appreciated and with such a fear of abandonment

Actually, I'm not even in that way. I have a strange personality in this regard too. I tend to be very quiet, even shy about making eye contact. But I don't let anyone walk all over me, either. If someone dares to push me around, I'll fight back in the most extreme way. I absolutely don't want a dominant to lead me. I don't want someone who changes me, I want someone who is very understanding and empathetic.

It's very variable, in my opinion. This happens when you know there's already mutual interest. In some cases, they were girls I met on dating apps, in others in person, but I had agreed to go out with them. And they were more experienced girls, not church girls. I say this also because with these girls of the church, at other times, we've had awkward silences. The only one who always says hello to me is engaged. I know one girl likes me, I don't know who, because someone told me one of them call…

It’s literally a church, so on religion I hope we agree… I've never had a girlfriend, but the rare times I've gone out with someone or made video calls, it's never been a problem. Because the girls have talked nonstop the whole time, and I've often just nodded without even listening. But there are those who are shy, who perhaps are wife material for this very reason, and who want a man who can carry on the conversation

Unless some unseen gigachad comes along, I look better than everyone else and I'm probably wealthier too. But I don't even want to get there by bragging, and honestly, I'd rather have someone who likes me in general than someone who chooses me based on what I bring to the table. This is also why I find it difficult to get to know a person like this. Honestly, I need a girl who's either okay with me the way I am and who tends to be emotionally dependent. In that case, it could work for both of us…

If they're the ones I already met, at least aesthetically speaking, there's little competition. There's one guy who has potential because he's not bad and very easygoing, but he's also a foreigner, so his look is a bit unique. And there is another one, but he is much older than the others. I'm afraid a lot more people might come. If I can avoid looking like a total madman (which I am), I'm sure I could find someone who likes me. Moreover, various dynamics scare me. I have low standards myself. I…

This is how I ended up having no experience at all. Because I've never met anyone interested in a relationship, but only in hookups. So knowing that someone might have seriously liked me but never shown any signal drives me crazy.

Not very easy to import wife from a first world country. Literally many of my dating attempt failed due to 3/4 hours of distance, in a context where she did not wanted to relocate

I’m actually getting less than others. And yes, if I look better than others, if I have a better lifestyle and if I want something serious, I should deserve more than others

When the dating pool is so limited... I'm currently hanging out with a group of young single adults. I only like one of them (she's model-level), while the others are really below average. But seriously to the point where I'd be repulsed, because they have that kind of unattractiveness that suggests some form of disease. And on dating apps, living in a small town, distance has always ruined everything…

But the point isn't "I should go to an escort because it's cheaper," but rather "Why can't I find a long-term partner?" In the short term, I could get by much more easily. I get likes on dating apps, and I get approached in person on occasion. But my long-term attempts have always been a disaster. Even when the girl made the first move. They were certainly not serious enough, but statistically, it can't always go badly.

My standards are like a roller coaster. If a 7-8/10 tells me she likes me, I raise them; if things go badly, they plummet. In general, I'm not just interested in a trophy wife. If I feel comfortable with her, that's enough for me. I just need to like her subjectively.

I don't want to go to an escort. The comparison came to mind because I think that literally escorts are less expensive than the lifestyle, if I were to convert it into net costs, which I can offer. And I am quite decent, so better than the average customer of an escort. I forgot to mention that I have also been to almost 40 countries and that I go out to eat every week. For the record, I'm a virgin and I've never kissed anyone. I'd like someone who will stay with me forever and wants the same li…

I can't date anyone unless I know they want someone to be with forever. Cheating? Technically, they've never even kissed. If she were that loyal, she'd be a saint. Worse than me, I'm not the one saying that. They took group photos of us side by side. And they made a lot of jokes about how I mog everyone (yes, they used that word). And some friends, outsiders, who know I like this girl laughed a lot about it because they said I greatly overestimate her.
