As for relationships, sex, etc., I have ideas that sound quite strange to many.
Because I have always had my own form of religiosity that did not conform to the dominant one here.
And only recently did I discover that Mormons currently believe almost exactly the same things. So much so, that they were very surprised that I already believed 90% of the doctrine. The fact is, I went there partly because I was hoping to meet someone who thought like me, but there are practically no young people there (I don’t live in the US). The few, in other cities, are less hardline than I am, etc.
The fact that this church supports almost all of my ideas (if not all, interpreting old doctrines literally) can help me a lot. Because I think it would sound much stranger if I talked like a cult leader (without actual followers) with a girl.
The doctrines I strongly support are the law of chastity, because I consider sex to be something that can only be achieved with an eternal commitment, and eternal marriage, because I want someone who wants to be with me not just for this life, but also for the afterlife. And you certainly treat a relationship destined for eternity better. Statistically is in fact the religion with fewer divorces rates.
I could support some other slightly stranger ones, but I want to focus on these two.
I think there are girls who have this desire to have someone faithful to be with forever.
At the same time, the dominant culture goes against this. Hookup culture is widespread, with people marrying late or not at all.
I'm honestly starving for affection more than sex.
I could “benefit” a lot from the hookup culture, but I don't want to. Consider that I'm a model, yesterday I went out with a friend in the city and he got triggered because a lot of girls were looking at me.
I notice that new converts tend to be very lonely people. They accept the doctrine easily. And actually the target is good, because I want someone really into me.
But they find relatively few. In the end, it's a lottery to stop people on the street or wait to be contacted via ads. I'm also generally introverted. I showed up one day in church when I was in the mood, but on the street on a random day, I don't think.
But I think there are potentially a lot of these types of people. Practically 90% of Reddit and Telegram users probably don't have a social life.
Some apps like Yubo or Badoo are full of girls with nonexistent social lives. But how do you blend seduction with “missionary work”?
And in what other contexts could I look?
