"Ethnic" nose jobs are entering that "beyond the designed intent" territory in that, it's only recently that there's more thought and training around it. Most doctors come of out school only having been taught the standard based on white features and white beauty ideals. With that said, Beyonce has had at least one nose job, and it 'refined' her nose in a way that respected the natural shape of her nose. Of course that's unreasonable, but if that's not your knowledge base, you can't really claim…

But before and afters of what procedures? How recent, what city where they in? Plastic surgery being visible is often a choice by both the surgeon and patient. There's a whole sociological aspect to this, people go in knowing the results will be obvious and even wanting that. Like girls in Iran want whoville noses. The girls in LA want Kylie Jenner lips. The girls in Miami want that BBL diaper booty etc. Which is why even before and afters on surgeons own sites are not necessarily "best of" exam…

You're underestimating just how much good subtle work is done tbh, most celebs have had at least one procedure done. Marilyn Monroe had a nose job, chin implant and browlift in the 50s. Most obvious work that looks worse is bad/poorly done or seeking something too far outside the natural base. And nowadays a lot of work looks bad because it's filler vs actual tissue work.

This is so wildly out of touch with the real world. No where is a cute young girl like that a 3.5 "But she has a negative canthal tilt!" like the autism of it all

Yes, this is how most people chose friends and lovers. Familiarity breeds fondness. Relationships grow deeper with more interaction, people become more comfortable, interactions become more lively and enjoyable. Some people hit it off right away too. Instant besties, love at first sight is basically this. But most relationships will need some level of re-exposure to build. If you don't desire deeper social relationships or fear them, well that's a sign to 🌟 get assessed 🌟

That's a terrible strategy lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 08:37 PM

Consent is a legal concept. Not an emotion. The idea you can't have mixed feelings around a situation that was not illegal is pretty silly. People walk away from interactions feeling used all the time. If your fall back is only, 'well was it against the rules? If it wasn't why are you upset?' well...

You're acting like there's some sort of fixed number of approaches in the world and women need to "use up" to prevent bad behavior from men. When in reality, people can do whatever they want. Men in relationships still hit on women. Men still hit on women in relationships. The existing barriers of social norms do not stop unsolicited attention.

Passive to active is a spectrum, women making themselves available is somewhere in the middle. Men complain about women being unavailable all the time, and that is often a choice women are actively making. To be closed off and guarded, to not give pro-social signals to men.

Yes, it's completely normal to be in a committed relationship without it being 'serious' in the sense it's leading to marriage. That is not leading someone on. Leading someone on is lying when the topic of long-term commitment comes up. Men who are promising to propose "someday" are leading women on. If you want to get married, you need to "date with intention" and bring the matter up before you even start dating.

Now it's lifetime earnings? Nice move of the goalpost. As cited below, it's is not very small. And this is marriages from like mid 60s onwards IIRC. Where the older marriages would see lower incidence of equal or higher pay from wives. This number has gone up over time, as women have started to earn more. Not a random snapshot.

Olivia Rodrigo's new album got Best New Music from Pitchfork and has a 3.7 on RYM. Why are you putting her on the same level as 'dumb girl stuff' like Love Island? Hating everything popular is going to make you look like an unfun snob.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 07:26 AM

Data doesn't support that women as a class refuse to date men who earn less. The rate of income equality in relationships and women earning more are both going up over time. The women who do refuse are likely from a lower class who genuinely cannot afford to pair off with a man who earns too little to support a family (Doing so means poverty) Because men are more likely to be horny and desperate as you note, many women filter for effort as a measure of genuine interest. If you dislike having to …

There is no singular "weird behavior" here. What's weird is context dependent. It's the lack of ability to read that context and adapt/adopt new behavior that generally leads to someone bring labeled "weird" That's also not true. People are turned off by behavior.

Men's social skills have evaporated for no reason? Or women have gotten pickier with the enormous amount of options they have compared to 20 years ago? Women have always had options. And 20 years ago the young adults on the dating market were not iPad babies.

I don’t give a shit about volunteering at a dog shelter, for example, I’d rather donate money and work extra at my job instead of doing that. The issue is, if you meet a woman doing that she's likely going to care deeply about volunteering at the shelter. It's likely apart of her life, something she wishes she could do more of. You can put on a front, but she's going to expect that front from then on.

I studied because I love learning, I love lectures, I love taking classes. I would spend the rest of my life in school if I could. Who is getting a nose job just for fun? Who is getting lipo when they think they're already too skinny? There is simply a clear and direct relationship between elective cosmetic work and perceived flaws.

Self-improvement isn't insecure, that's an assumption on your part. See how you have to totally transform and misquote my statement to say this? Self improvement doesn't mean you're insecure, but elective cosmetic surgery does. You get surgery on the aspects of yourself you dislike and wish were different. You are not secure in your appearance and are willing to spend a large amount of money and go through pain to change it.

That's what the leading looksmaxxers do and promote. Gender transition involves hormones under medical supervision. Not listening to a 20 year old with the handle 67muscles on what to buy off some Chinese wholeseller to add to your stack. If you get cosmetic plastic surgery you are insecure. If you can't handle that being pointed out, don't do it. But it's a fact.

Dating is distinctly not under the purview of most 'liberal principles' by which I'm assuming you mean non-discrimination and inclusion. It is discriminatory by nature, and then selective even within that. Dating is not inclusive. Most people are neurotypical. I'm not deflecting, you just don't like reality. Everyone more masculine than you is not "hyper-masculine" and given you self ID as a 'femboy' that's basically all men. Most men are not hyper-masculine by definition. It's a state defined by going beyond typical expressions of masculinity. Having dating experience and a stable job by 30 is not a benchmark of "hyper-masculine." It's an expectation that most people, male or female are under because it's the norm.

I'd agree that that stuff is silly. It's more it comes down to the fact it's a social norm. Breaking it is uncomfortable. People seek reasons to account for that discomfort that's not just, breaking a social norm because that's not really accepted. But breaking a social norm is enough actually. What social norms people want to break does tell you something about them.

Again, would you jump off a bridge if everyone said it's gonna be so much fun? Someone else being a dumbass is not a get out of jail free card for you to act the same way. Hey, grow the baby in your body and 'abortion' can be part of your birth control tool kit too! Until then pro-lifers aren't the bed fellows you want given they're increasing anti-birth control and sure as hell aren't gonna be cool with "paper abortions" either (unless a good het christian couple gets the baby outright)
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 03:03 PM

Not deeply reflective enough to take on some of the burden of birth control. If everyone jumped off a bridge, would you jump too? Men have control of their reproductive future, they need to stop exporting the duty onto women. If you don't want a kid, see to it.

Introverts are not mentally challenged. Why are you using that as some sort of sympathy qualifier? What is he going to tell a judge, calling to schedule a vasectomy caused him too much phone anxiety? The only legitimate scenario is in the case of rape. Not wanting to use a condom or get a vasectomy isn't sympathetic let alone a legitimate reason to offload your parental duty to the tax payer.

It is interesting that hypergamy sometimes works this way, where it's not enough to just provide resources to some women; it's supposed to be "earned" This is not you being a rich kid. I don't get why "autism coaches" are not as much of a thing. Like, it barely seems like a thing at all. PUA were basically autistic life/dating coaches but they failed to understand/name that autism is behind a lot of issues their clients were dealing with.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 06:24 AM

aslong as its not a minor you can ask a person that atleast one time and it's perfectly legal.. You are going to get people fired lmao It is not okay to randomly proposition coworkers for sex. There are in fact, no protections for trying to get your dick wet, and you make yourself a liability.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 05:37 AM

Been sued before? And no, that's not how it works. A coworker outright asking me for sex would be demoralizing and humiliating. It would impact how I treat my other co-workers and potentially call into question what they think about me. It would be stressful and embarrassing to bring this up to my bosses. I probably wouldn't want to work with the co-worker again and that would have side effects job wise. I might want to leave my job. That is what would be taken into account in a sexual harassmen…

I don't think its the same thing. People who are super picky/neurotic are likely going to have "give someone a chance" as part of breaking out of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 05:13 AM

You know there are also laws about this right? Company policy can go further, but not stop before the law. In California a single instance is enough to constitute hostile work environment, and the employer has a responsibility to fix it. If I coworker did this to me I would report. If a client did this to me, I'm telling my boss.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 04:05 AM

This is not true. If my co-worker asked me outright for sex, it would be sexual harassment and my job could get into trouble if they did not address it after I report.

The thing is, that is not my or any other woman's (or persons) problem. If you cannot read social signals well enough to where you can reliably make that call yourself, and you still insist on asking... you're responsible for whatever fall out it causes. There is no hack or cheat code here. The vast majority of the time this is going to be an unwanted interaction by women.

You go through the steps of a normal social interaction (for whatever environment you're in) In more environments, this is going to be a normal conversation. Where you can get to them know and their deal. And if someone does not want to talk to you? They do not want to talk to you about sex.

Hmm, here I see more of men asking for women to give them a chance then I do women advocating for it. A few here outright ask why women don't pity fuck. Who/what is feminism? How are you defining that? What does it mean for "feminism" to be quiet on this? Is the Go Red for Women campaign feminism? My understanding was Boys Over Flowers is the most popular 'harem' manga, ever. So popular that every live action iteration of it has made stars of its stars in multiple countries. I also know Ouran High and Yuri On Ice is very popular. I don't actually know any traditional harem anime/manga by name. That would be getting off topic but female fashion and grooming is more complex then just being "for men" and yet it still does exists within patriarchal society. What is seen as desirable in terms of "style" is mainly driven by women themselves. Men aren't why we tweezed our brows away in the 90s and then wanted them full and bushy in the 2010s. He's making money off the female desire to the same degree every hot man with a fanbase is. My point was I see a lot of female creators with purely friends "girl talk" vibes in their followers do the same sex shop sponsorships. Like a know a creator who is a virgin who gets them lol Just pointing out that's not unique to him, its just being able to show women watch. Ehh, I don't think that's really true. But TBF you're not paying. I don't think this is what OP is talking about. Passive enjoyment of random hot guys social media feeds you isn't the same thing as seeking even more content and paying for it. Men also have plenty of random hot women on social media. They still seek more.

If you read the average womens romantic novel, the man isn't just some idle pretty boy waiting for the woman to seduce him and be "used" Why do you think this alone would appeal to women? Attempts to present men to women as context-less as women are presented to men have failed. But there's a huge market for men to be objects of women's desire. Heated Rivalry made the stars top tending celebrities overnight, mainly off the frenzy of female fans. That's just the first real taste of the Boy Love (…

Far lower than what? Vaginal sex? No. The lifetime risk for cervical cancer without screening programs is very high, like above 5% far higher then the lifetime risk of HPV linked oral cancer in men (for which there is no screening) And again, many of those men are gay and bisexual. There is no conclusive research on the per-encounter risk of HPV, but most sexual active people have it. Blowjobs can pass HPV too bro lmao women shouldn't be doing that either. Gay men have higher rates of throat cancer, and they're not eating pussy. And 99% of cervical cancer is caused by PIV sex passing HPV. There is basically no other way the cervix develops cancer but an HPV infection.

But because he doesn't want to be the safe, lower-desire, less exciting option. Then you need to filter for passion in the relationship. Using sex acts as a proxy for measuring this is a sign you lack the ability, or doubt your ability, to gauge this independently. There's nothing wrong with filtering for passion and sexual compatibility in relationships. It just requires people to put on their big boy/big girl pants.

Drugs that induce uterine contractions/labor do not directly kill the fetus. That is why as your wikipedia link notes, misoprostol is used to induce labor (and actually save babies lives). In early term abortions, the fetus cannot maintain homeostasis or take in nutrients outside the uterus. That is why the fetus perishes, that is why it's an abortion. A 39 week old fetus is full term, it has a fully formed brain and lungs, it will not die outside the uterus for simply no longer being in the ute…

It's nonsensical to charge her for that and in the UK women have the right to home birth. (and women wanting magical natural homebirths kills many times more babies) Late term abortions are defined by inducing fetal demise in the uterus and you have to inject the medications into the fetus/amniotic fluid to do that. Right, we have plenty of primate studies that back this up. A lot of what men bemoan here is just, most women have a different hormone profile and behaving accordingly. Add in learned knowledge of our own limitations / the inherent physical and emotional risks of sex - and you overall get both the more passive nature and more cautious behavior.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/26 08:51 AM

I don't think the argument is its conscious, but more that we're more low-interest as a default. With that said, I personally have avoided dating and sex due to risk of pregnancy and other sexual concerns. What is actual monogamy in animals though? Social monogamy or genetic monogamy? Lots of bonded pairs are raising a bastard child lol And animals will also practice serial monogamy. There's been lots of famous gay penguins over the years. But only a few have mated for life, they have gay penguin break ups, and then they often get with females and have more chicks. So they're bi and serial monogamous.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/26 05:34 AM

Serial monogamy is just monogamy. People have always had multiple relationships over a lifetime. Even if you tried to do the mate from teenage years thing one of you would die.

If being a virgin and staying with one man for your entire life was natural, That's not what monogamy means.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 12:18 AM

I think it makes sense. A man's lift routine means nothing to me, but I know Ninja Warrior and that shit looks fun.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 12:06 AM

Messaging on dating apps is not approaching, no. And again, the guys I'm talking are the ones who act like approaching women, even just to make small talk, is in fact a crime and you're likely to end up with a rape charge or have your life ruined by tiktok. Lots of men here have anxiety disorders but somehow think they wouldn't as women.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 10:44 PM

My post is about fear/anxiety. If you fear women as a man, its funny to think you wouldn't fear men as a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 07:50 PM

Yeah... but they're typically not women who fear other people lol
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 06:14 PM

Most women don't use apps.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 06:04 PM

Who said anything about quiet girls?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 06:04 PM

Guys on here who are like: I will never approach a woman I could never justifying taking that risk, but if I was a woman I would have sex with strangers. Totally.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 06:36 AM

You guys are so rude and wonder why you're single lol
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/26 07:31 PM

We also can't call him out for his stereotypical double timing husband BS because he's non-binary now lol (Lindy notes it but uses he/him in her book and they only started this they/them whining because people aren't saying he's sooo cool and such a good husband)
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 11:36 AM

From people who read it, the fact she's fat and has crushing white guilt. Self hating white women anxiety disorder. She said people shouldn't be hating on them bc the gf is Iranian (ethnically) and Iran is getting bombed by Trump? And the husband wrote a snarky "free Palestine uwu" response when the reported asked him why he sent her that crazy rude email. So, that's the sort of people they all are.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 09:28 AM

Little sucker needs to read the eviction notice already. I hope you go into labor tonight! I also think sharing bdays is very cute.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 10:41 PM

Get vaccinated against HPV if you haven't been. Its infuriating that men aren't. Herpes and HPV totally changed how I view sex on a risk reward scale. I'm double vaccinated and low risk but still, lowkey freaks me out I could have it lurking.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 10:21 PM

That's what I'm saying. Now granted, neither women here are total hotties themselves. He's not dating up much. But he can get women, a lot of them. Which is supposed to be impossible because of "hoeflation" lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 09:46 PM

I'm not saying she's hot! But she's his third wife and he was dating two other women while married to her.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 09:42 PM

I don't recall her ever being one. She was a very normie pop culture/feminist writer. More up to date with Beyonce than her local jazz scene. And here she complains about it
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 09:41 PM

Aren't male musicians often one of the most attractive "hobbies" for men? He's a trumpeter. That is not an "attractive" instrument to play, unless you like, are a total jazz head. And yeah, I agree! That's why it's funny too. But this guy is not a catch in any sense. He has heaps of baggage, he's not hot, he's fat, he doesn't have money, he doesn't have status. He should be a "struggling" male but he's not.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 09:32 PM

Because she's very obese, not because he's good looking.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 08:40 PM

He is tall yes, but that's all he has going for him. And he has no status, he's a studio musician. Lindy makes the money. is 100% a liberal so it makes sense why she would be in favour of polyamory She was not! That's the whole point. She only came around to it after he guilt her into it.

Who is following this Lindy West saga lol Summary is white fat feminist writer marries less-fat but still fat mixed race man (who had been divorced twice and had two kids). A few years into their marriage he tells he needs to be poly because monogamy is like colonialism. She agrees under duress and sets rules, he breaks them and starts dating two women behind her back. They work it out and now they're both dating one of the women he was cheating with. She's thin. Lindy wrote a book about how won…

Most women are not so scared of men we cannot socialize with them and have male friends. Taking an internet meme more seriously then anything you can observe in real life is more indicative of your own issues than women as a whole.

Smoking is just an example, you're taking it too literally. There are behaviors/demeanor that are more widely selected against. We've had post here from men who can't speak to women. Looks can only get you so far if you can't converse. At any moment, a small minority of women are game for casual sex with a stranger while a much larger percent of men are. For women attraction is part of selection but so is "vibing" basically creating chemistry. If men have looks and this skill, then they'll do we…

Wouldn't that be the guy who brutally frame mogged him. Clav at least has a good haircut.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/26 02:49 AM
2

Let me put it this way, I don't like smokers. I find plenty of men who smoke attractive - but not dating them is a judgment thing. Not an attraction thing. Not taking home the cute guy who looks like he's about to faint from nerves doesn't mean you don't find him cute, but he's obviously not up to the task.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 10:17 PM
3

A man can be physically attractive... and his presence and behavior can be the turn off. Or what stops him from being a contender.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 10:08 PM
2

There's a difference between being cute and clueless and being actively off-putting. And we're talking about casual sex, not longer built connections.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 07:27 PM

Because most people have found themselves heavily attracted to people outside the realm of conventionally good looking. That's what a normal person means when they say looks don't matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 08:30 AM
2

Genuinely curious, what do you think is the line between beauty and attraction? What do you think it means when someone isn't attracted to these sort of people?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 06:46 AM
1

Of course. A man can be handsome but have such poor game on the social level that it doesn't matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 06:42 AM

I absolutely care about his past. Especially if he was an asshole to women. Idc how well he treats me now This goes way beyond sex, but totally. I don't want to be the "exception" in terms of getting respectful treatment, that's not being special. A high body count for men shows skills at attracting women but bad at keeping them Yeah, I think this too lol But also high risk taking behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/26 12:26 AM

The higher the bodycount goes less compatible I think we'd be. I simply don't think most men who have high body counts would be really match me and cool with my preferred dynamics for a sexual relationship. And this isn't hypocritical from how men here talk about high N count women because I don't desire to have lots of casual sex and multiple partners. And my idea of high scales with age. I wouldn't care if he was a virgin for the being the virgin part. I'd care if he had resentment towards wom…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/26 11:49 PM

That is the exact same cope fat acceptance types used. There is not a mass of fit people skewing the trend in BMI. And being overweight due to muscle can still have negative health impacts FTR. And it generally does not happen naturally esp creeping towards obese.

If you're immature, you're likely going to date immature people ¯\(ツ)/¯ having an issue with the gender of your partners healthcare provider is deeply immature. Bachelor/ette parties where the point is to binge drugs/alcohol and hire sex workers to "celebrate your last night single" (you're not single?) are often where cheating happens. I don't think people who are really in love and serious about getting married have them.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/26 06:15 AM

You do not have a right to be insecure on the biases of one male gyno being a criminal. You're insecure over the fear your (imaginary) female partner would be...assaulted? You're insecure over that?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/26 08:47 PM
36

Why are you putting things like having a therapist or doctor of the opposite sex with things like having work wives/husbands and wild bachelor/ette parties...? That is insanely controlling behavior. Insecurity is not attractive in anyone. I do not understand why men put up with women who freak out because they want to hang out with their sisters. I would never put up with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/26 08:43 PM

Often seen as a perk of such a style.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 09:05 PM

A lot of these arguments are men bemoaning that benevolent sexism isn't real. Hot women are supposed to be fair maidens who see whats in your heart and reward it with casual NSA sex, because "empathy" or something lmao They want sexual socialism. Or a sexual lottery. Something that will make them win with no effort.

if men had strict, measurable size requirements for women's breasts if the tightness of a woman's vagina... became gossip topic among men and "loose vagina" became a widely used slur, including mainstream media and movies. if the only body type considered widely attractive on women required a meticulous gym and dieting plan All of this is just reality. For women being more then average can make people take you less seriously, depending on the culture. There's a Victoria's Secret model whose also a programmer with a highly rated Stack account and a lot of people still doubt her abilities because she's beautiful. Being a very good looking but bland guy can basically be a hard limiting factor on ones career. You don't look every man enou…

Why is this suddenly about you personally? Isn't this about men who look like shit? This attitude isn't what's between and yes and a no. She's still not gonna say yes to a man she's not attracted to, she could take it as a compliment or this. She is above average in the face, she has a very balanced face with nice features, nice skin. What is above average to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/26 08:44 AM

Do you think it's okay for 10s to have this attitude? At what level does being toxic become okay? The whole idea of 'looks match' is what gives people the feeling they have a right to act like this. B: you can very easily tell if people don’t like you. Autistic people perhaps can't, and people with other anxieties/ocd issues will ruminated themselves into feeling like they can't. A big reason why I think most guys here are autistic/ocd/anxiety disorder.

Because unattractive people usually date each other? But you know the joke about poly people? It's never who you want to be polyamorous who's polyamorous If you think your partner is fuckable you shouldn't be shocked others do too. That's the bottom line. And yeah it's super messy as a rule basically. But clearly a lot of people who ask for this are not really analytical thinkers. Open/poly/ENM works for people who are truly into the lifestyles and that includes embracing their partners freedoms…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 08:09 AM

idk about more common but its certainly more common for them to think little wifey is going to stay home and knit and they're fuck hot chicks and become crybabies when she can bag and young hot chicks aren't like flies on shit with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 11:08 PM

Why would two people in an open relationship need to acknowledge anything about unattractive women? If you think your partner is unattractive why are you doing this "open" bullshit and not just leaving? People in open relationships can set the terms, but if you go into wanting to "win" the bodycount you need to call it something else. Competitive cheating maybe. Like you clearly wanted the green light to cheat and get one up on your partner, you didn't want to "open"
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 11:04 PM

Because both men and women ask to open relationships? There's a popular writer Lindy West, right now pushing her book about her husband sitting her down and telling her he "needed" to be poly. He then started dating/having sex with someone without telling her. Both men and women push this poly shit onto their mono partners lol
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 10:58 PM

I don't think open relationships work if you view it like a contest.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 10:04 PM

"Appreciation" isn't going to keep the lights on. You can like anything but if at the end of the day you're not ponying up some cash for an artform that has fixed high costs - it will wither away. No one would know who Chalamet was if he followed in his grandmother and mothers footsteps and became a dancer. That's what he was saying and he's correct.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 09:27 PM

There's isn't a gender aspect to this. Open relationships are trendy and appeal to people wanting their cake and eating it to. If someone asks you for an open relationship, just break up.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 09:09 PM

Fundraising isn't the point of a non-profit, and not all companies fundraising are non-profits. They have a model that should be bringing in enough revenue to cover costs but doesn't. More than half of ballet companies are in the red. That's fab but most people getting pissy about this don't
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 09:04 PM

Second, because height is related to ethnicity, the researchers only included white couples in their findings. Third, they couldn’t be sure of causality. Setting aside metaphysical questions about love, the researchers found that height is correlated with education, and there’s evidence that people choose partners based on their education level. But there’s a bigger issue here — maybe you’ve already spotted it, John: Men tend to be taller than women anyway. Is it really so surprising that only 7…

/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 03:16 AM

What other scenario is applicable here? Whenever men bring up this "paper abortion" thing, the context is women lying about being on birth control or biting condoms. Most children are welcomed into the world by two parents. Things go south after, but there's no such thing as post-birth abortions.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 09:28 PM

This sub just has so much low IQ Every child has two parents, and if one or both abandons that child the state steps in. You're paying for Chad's children. Chad is the leech.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 09:02 PM

Again, we should all just pay for Chad's sperm deposits. That's legit your argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 08:52 PM

"baby trapping" is basically a male paranoia. Most children are born to couples, and have their fathers sign the birth certificate in the delivery room. You can have 50/50 and still owe child support if the child needs it. And 50/50 requires actually having the kids 50% of the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 08:51 PM

I don't hear women say this very often? I hear it most from service workers. Service workers are not asking for friendship from customers, just basic politeness. The problem with men who claim to want to be breaking "societal norms" is that they somehow equate being meek, passive, and not having a personality with "feminine" (which isn't the case), even though that's generally unattractive behavior to anyone who's not a predator. A good portion of the 'gender wars' is this, people who are lacking wanting others to step up and take care of them. A lot of people are seeking parental figures more than partners.

I said going bald young can be indicative of underlying hormonal issues. That if you went bald at 18 and think as a women you'd magically be problem free, you're probably mistaken because you'd probably have a female variant of hormonal issues. Early androgenetic alopecia is compared to PCOS, you can look it up. The reason being early androgenetic alopecia is indicative of insulin resistance and gonadal dysfunction. Androgenetic alopecia also does have the same lifestyle risk factors, including obesity. But overall my point was OP lists signs of hormonal issues as a man. In the USA, average height for men is about 5'9. Following normal distribution only around 8% of men are below 5'6 and only around 4% would be below 5'5. The average height for women (meaning, about half are shorter) is 5'4. Even most short guys are taller than most women, so "the taller than me" want is pretty benign. And most men also want a woman shorter than himself.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 08:20 PM

Most of the most mentioning height are not asking for a tall guy. Just taller then themselves. Which unless they're outside OPs stated range, is still gonna be a short man. Why does that still trigger you?

How is this arguing men should to do anything? The unfortunate reality is that in America most people are fat and out of shape. These people are still part of the sexual marketplace. If you want what most men here want, casual sex, where the supply and demand for men seeking women is already asymmetrical. If you shut out fat women you're shutting out like 60% of that already small number. Its just math. Still don't have to fuck the fat chick, no one cares you won't.

We know what happens in cultures that practice polygamy. There is generally a function to reduce competition from young men, the military, monasticism, castration/eunuchs etc. A recent example is the Lost boys of fundamentalist Mormon sects. Older men expel boys and younger men from the compounds to reduce competition for wives. Free mate choice does not produce this effect. Hypergamy is marrying up, which in cultures where it is a thing- men and women can do.

No one discusses their views on abortion before they fuck dude. Oops babies are almost never the result of lying, it's almost always the result of two dumb bitches lying together. Child support is about the child, not the woman. I don't care about the woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 04:25 PM

Now men just do everything women want. Be a man and advocate for your health and safety. Said the Republican senator to the women protesting the overturning of Roe v Wade. Condoms are as artificial as abortions. Both are awesome ways to prevent the natural consequences and purpose of sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 04:16 PM

What can she lie about re: condoms? I'm gonna have to learn how to break a condom. Didn't realize that was a thing that was the woman's fault. /r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 04:14 PM

tampers with the condom Your condom. Your penis. How can it be tampered with? Do you also think women bite holes in condoms? Again, "she lied" is just an excuse because men want to fuck raw. If you don't want a baby, the great news is that's totally within your control.

Unsuccessful men need to pay for Chad's children to balance their lack of reproductive success. It makes total sense.

Also, it is really telling that people always cite the most irresponsible men as proof why no men should have protection against being reproductively exploited. How is it a form of payment when one party think they've fallen in love mutually and are now ready to express that love and romantic attraction to each other? Sure, some women will have duty sex as a reward for paring off. but that will be very dry and boring. So neither like your so valued 'raw attraction' casual or newly in love sex.

I don't think that's an uncommon version of celeb crushing for autistic women/people. Which is why I added fandom. But I would still count it as a celebrity crush because it generally doesn't transfer when the characters get rebooted and a new actor takes over. A lot of what men do emotionally is about preventing blow-ups during courtship: choosing not to argue with her, letting things slide, absorbing accusations without defending themselves, and staying quiet to keep the peace. Failure to do so reliably provokes women and endangers the relationship Healthy relationships are not like this, whatsoever. If a man has to do this he is either lying about who he is or he's dating a toxic crazy woman. Or both. Either way, it's his choice to put the continuat…

This is something really important for female sexuality as a lot of women admit in various discussions online. So I'd say it's kind of balanced - men getting their physical desires met and women having their mental desires fulfilled. Yes, it is an important aspect of sexuality for most women, but that doesn't mean it's a complete experience for most either. Using the same logic you used, we could say that "sub" women are also seeking sexual submission from "dom" men since they want to be the center of focus and attention in the scene. I'd say that'd be a completely fair characterization if the what the 'sub' woman is seeking is mainly about her wants and her pleasure. Even to the degree most of what she wants done is stuff the man cannot physically derive pleasure from. I don't think it ends up like that too often just because male and female sexua…

BDSM/Femdom doesn't really challenge gender norms. Finding breaking social norms sexy isn't the same thing as challenging them. If anything, it makes sense women seeking men for this want an ideal of masculine men, because the power play is between gendered dynamics. From what I've seen people who actually challenge gender norms generally don't seek a gendered thing like femdom. They'd go to a more queer thing.

No, my thing is you're painting this as a rigid social norm men are simply preforming and not something they're doing of their own desires. Because right, men aren't mind readers and so - most men approach women because they want to, women's behavior is totally irreverent. And this is a two way street. Men can talk to anyone they'd like in public and women can have whatever reaction they want. Shoot your shot sure, don't be a whiner when you piss some people off.

I'm not as concerned with pregnancy as I am with HPV and herpes when it comes to casual sex. More partners = greater risk of the later, not fully mitigated by protection. Which is lower without intercourse. I do think more women would be game for casual sex if there wasn't the perception that it has to involve intercourse.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/26 08:54 PM

Short guys are always hanging out with men way taller.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/26 04:14 AM

Is it, or is real life sex not like porn?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 04:26 PM

Being porn brained isn't about how much sex you have, but your expectations around it.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 04:24 PM

Why are you labeling yourself hypersexual? Having a high libido isn't being hypersexual.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 10:27 PM

You're just arguing my point from another angle. Young people settle in many circles where pairing off young is the expected thing to do. They have kids because its expected. They stay together because it's expected. And attractive is not the same as attraction. Two attractive people can have weak romantic and sexual attraction for various reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 10:20 PM

Single mothers who never had the commitment of the father is generally a lower class thing. The lower classes in general have declining rates of "settling down" at all i.e. marrying.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 10:10 PM

One based in reality. I don't think men need to like random vag pics to be straight, but way way way more men than women would like that. Certain aspects of human sexuality are just 95% male.

My dude, I didn't even know Qunora got freaky like that. Are you sure you find that disgusting if you're going that far to seek it out?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 09:54 PM

The idea that people who play the field and marry later are the ones who "settle" just doesn't match with what I really see in a more liberal area. When slutty people settle down they tend to be really into their partners (that doesn't mean it will last) The most common form of settling I see is from people who got together young, weren't careful, and got married because of a baby. They let life drag them whichever way it wanted, and end up rather unsatisfied by it all.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 09:51 PM

I'd never say all women who have FWB are hotter then the men. Plenty of FWB situations are between equally mid looking looksmatchs for one thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 09:25 PM

Not so. I think you just like men more than women.

Or do most women really find average men as sexually unappealing as straight men find gay men? Yes. I have zero sexual interest in men I'm not attracted to. There is no baseline feeling of "well at least he's the sex/gender I prefer" there. It's not 1:1 to straight men and gay men because part of the reaction to gay men is based in cultural homophobia. Which is also why men think we're saying we're disgusted by men we're not attracted to when we use this example.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 07:50 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 06:44 PM

Not personally, but I don't often watch his work. Might be different if I did. He's a good example why men's understanding of female attraction here is so off. He's not perfect handsome Squidward looking, but that gives character. It makes him real and tangible. Add in his talent and charisma, and that's fertile ground for attraction.

I genuinely don't know because my N count is too low to draw any conclusions from. I've never dealt with one that made me want to pull out the measuring tape. All I know is too big for me wouldn't be that big. Women's anatomy is different enough that the ideal is not gonna just come down to length, but also circumference, shape, curve.

Like, I said, it leaked down as social media trends do. But also, men do not have a good eye for this stuff. Plenty of natural and "clean" girls have had the same work done. Just to different desired results.

No. The women who pushed this idea are the sort to have had work done to achieve a hyperfeminine appearance men like. Boob jobs, BBL, lipo, laser hair removals all over, hair extensions, a wardrobe full of sexy clothing etc. You want a shallow and materialistic women, you have to pay the price. It might have leaked down to to the normie girls who don't put in the upkeep, but that's where it's from.

Most people are not going to understand how they were coddled. Simply being allowed to say rude stuff when young is being coddled in a way that's going to really hurt your ability to socialize when you grow up. Parents/caregivers not pushing you out of comfort zone is coddling. Parents/caregivers not allowing you to feel and understand the consequences of your actions is coddling. Autistic people can get a double whammy because most parent and caregivers wouldn't even know where to begin doing t…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/26 08:28 PM

Autistic men are not really coddled, but autistic boys can be. Which sets them up for failure when the coddling goes away in adulthood.

Single men/people are free to pursue sex. People in relationships, given monogamy is expected in most, are not. Thus sex is generally considered a reasonable expectation in a relationship to a degree.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 10:28 PM

Which is the same source for all the "single mothers are the scorn of the Earth and no one wants them" post here. It's a handicap for both men and women, but also doesn't stop most of them from being more successful in dating than most men here.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 09:48 PM

Oh wow, what a source. Popular dating app Zoosk Just like men and single mothers, most single and childless women are not gonna be eager to hop on that baggage train unless a cart is filled with gold.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 09:27 PM

Lots of CF people are happy being the best aunts and uncles, blood or other, they can be. They just don't want to have their own kids. People who have kids... have kids. And I said older kids, not adult children. Because men with teenagers think that somehow counts at "no kids."
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 09:11 PM

The sweet independent 24 year old can become the strung out 28 year old needing to move back in basically overnight. Plenty of people crash out and parental love being what it is, will try to fix it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 08:57 PM

Having a poor relationship with a parent does often nuke the desire to have kids. I knew by like 11/12 that I didn't want children and it was because I have an emotionally abusive mother. Edit: I'm not actually childfree lmao I'd be opening to adopting if I'm ever rich enough too. But that doesn't change the fact that being a single father is a negative in dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 08:55 PM

It makes perfect sense. People are parents for life. Having to deal with adult children without having the bonding experience of raising is not something most people like.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 08:39 PM

It's very amusing that if you go to the Childfree sub and look up dating, the #1 complaint is from CF women who report that all the interest they get is from single dads. That men think that because they only have the kids part time, or because the kids are older, or because they don't want any more kids, they count as "no kids" Edit and yeah the funny part here is the men. not the women. as is the idea that only men have to deal with single parents not understanding their kid actually does limi…

I can understand how it can feel like a cosmic 'punishment' to connect with someone only to discover you're fundamentally incompatible. But if you want a child, it was gonna come up sooner or later. But I'm talking about men who like fat women, not settling for them. So why would her income matter more than other women? Men keep saying over and over they just don't care about our income or inner lives, they just want a someone they're attracted too.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/26 07:23 PM

No, but it is in favor of men who like fat chicks. And isn't that what you guys want? Supply and demand to favor men.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/26 06:49 PM

Right. The idea that Chad's have to resort to having sex with unattractive women and that women lose control of ourselves for Chad will never compute. If a fit good looking guy has to take what he can get, then he's not actually a magical pussy slayer.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/26 06:46 PM

That's their problem though. As a woman I really don't care if a delusional fat women ends up with no man, her life her choice. And there is niche for fat women with fitter or skinny men. So sometimes its just a matter of holding out for one.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/26 06:37 PM

Then what's the issue with them sleeping with fat women? You can't get mad at women accepting freely given attraction. You guys need to pick between "poor men. forced! to fuck the fat chick" and "actually, fat women are attractive" because if even you guys here with all the hang ups can admit that, then it's pretty obvious why normie gym bro Noah would fuck and date a fat woman.

"I want him to be at least taller than me" = I want to feel this difference, and then have a great equal respectful dynamic from there. What are you implying with this sentence? That equality is when men and women are the exact same height? That it's odd women expect equality if they date a taller man? Men claim they just want women to be reasonable about height, and women who want "at least" taller are being more than reasonable. Most men are taller then women.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/26 01:44 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/26 01:40 AM

I don't see why Lillard, Cumberbatch and Crooks all can't sit at the Sid looking table. Lillard is a handsome guy, but he's not a pretty boy. He was cast as the archetypal punk kid for a reason. He's a character actor. Pretty white boys in the 90s were like Ryan Phillippe and Paul Walker.

Most of them don't know anything about feminism and just think its equals something women did/said. Most women are not feminist.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/26 12:31 AM

Women can be porn brained too, but that's not what you posted. And it'd be silly to act like men and women experience porn addiction at the same rates. Do men having bad relationship experiences with women actually make them not want to have sex with women? Relationship, sure. But sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/26 09:46 PM

It's very funny because in the medieval period in europe, people thought women were sex crazed.

Okay? What I'm saying is, I don't think there's ever been any majority of men loudly demanding their unattraction to Sabrina Carpenter be validated. As an artist she appeals more to women, but she's a cute little plucky blonde in lingerie.

I don't believe "men" don't find Sabrina Carpenter attractive lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/26 08:47 PM

Why do you have to link to a video? Your answer to that question is: engage sexually with men, centering their pleasure, even if women don't really want to do anything with them. Just say that. Why do you want women to watch your porn? Porn has no relevance to a dating issue in this context, because dating issue here implies trouble getting that first date/1st base.

Breast reconstruction after mastectomy restores a missing organ that’s directly tied to bodily integrity and social functioning. It does not restore an organ because breasts are not organs. The only reason its covered is TBF because society likes its women with tits. Save the tatas. Breast implants are also like, a nothing add on after cancer treatment costs. Esp if they can be placed during the mastectomy.

The "gender affirming care" stuff for plastic surgery is stupid. It's always cosmetic plastic surgery, on a trans person on a cis person. The state should therefore fund hair transplants for all men who have advanced past the Norwood 2 stage. But this is exactly why - even if accept your argument - it shouldn't be covered by public dollars. Hair transplants are an art. When do it, what stage what age, what technique to use, where to place the hairs and how many. All that impacts cost. The fact m…

No, the NHS will not cover breast implants for having 'tiny' boobs, it can cover it if you have no breasts, which is a totally different thing. From the NHS website breast enlargement (implants) – if you have very uneven breasts or no breasts, and it's causing significant psychological distress NHS also covers male breast reductions which are also about cosmetic/desiring a normal appearance. male breast reduction – if you've had a condition called gynaecomastia for a long time, other treatments …

That's the 15-49 number. It's because of grown men knocking up teenager girls. Among older adults ending their childbearing years: Among women and men aged 40–49 in 2015–2019, 84.3% of women had given birth and 76.5% of men had fathered a child. That's about a 7% difference, almost basically dead on and likely under capturing the number of men who have fathered a child since that's not always something he's aware of.

Not wanting to date a trans person is transphobia, but it’s not a serious transgression of rights, although it does come from a place of bigotry and discrimination. Being trans isn't an immutable characteristic, by definition. People who transition are undergoing treatment to alter their immutable characteristics to match how they want to look and be perceived by the world. It's not just a choice but a series of choices. And in terms of sexuality, that is immutable but having sex with someone of…

When surveyed the percent of women who report no sex within the last year bounces around from 10-30 percent and is higher among single women. A good portion of women do not have sex when single.

There's a market for casual sex, you do well in that market. But it doesn't give you any insight to the market of people not seeking causal sex. When women say they're fine single, you can't assume they're part of the casual market you participate in.

I expect compatibility, neither of us should find the other laborious to be with. And let's be real, there's basically nothing women want in terms of sex that you can't easily find a man who somehow desires it more than you. It's apples to oranges.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/25 04:40 AM

I think the idea is, pretty people are shallow. It's not that looks matter more in love, but that, your average conventionally pretty/hot person might value the social capital of dating each other more than finding 'love' And within that, its not contradictory. Esp if you think that most aspects of being attractive, being thin/in shape, hairless, blonde/hair plugged, botox etc. are not natural but active steps one must take.

The word on the street is, it tanks your own ranking first of all. Because the more people you like who don't like you back - the worse the app views you. And two, women view it as spam. Spam pushes uses away from platforms. Dating apps are partly as sucky as they are for men because the number of active men so severely out numbers of the number of active women. It'd be in men's favor to not act like spam and keep the women on.

Occasional drugs were just one noted thing they do. And it's true. Drugs are illegal and risky and many many people have done them. Including the majority of cool status having people. Most people are not in gangs or doing sex work.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/25 09:42 PM

This is why we need sex education. People are extremely bad at taking medication, any medication! Failure rate for typical use for the pill is 5-10% Much better odds than nature gives you, but that's extremely high. There's no way to parse that out from lying. If someone is on the mini and misses their window, they can ovulate and boom, baby. Tricking someone into becoming a parent is evil to them, but esp the kid. But most people are just stupid and ignorant.

Half of the problem with a social disability is that because of your social disability you can't actually accurately assess a situation. The slimness one needs for abs is more attractive than how defined the abs are. Women liking abs is our version of don't be fat. Looking like a pack of hotdogs isn't gonna net you more points with most women than just having a slim waist.

Also, sometimes, when a guy labels the other guy as a bad boy, it's cognitive dissonance: The guy who has what you want must be bad and I must be good. That kind of thing. I'd also add, sometimes men who are assholes to certain types of men, aren't that way to other people. In-group vs out-group behaviors. Harry Potter is a good example of this. James bullied Snape terribly. He was truly cruel to him. But James was very kind to Lily later on. Snape became a wizard Nazi, and James became a resist…

But the "games" here are still romance, just different paths for it. Men are playing the "date strangers" game. Women are more likely to play the "date acquaintances/friends" game. I've only ever dated classmates, co-members, or co-workers (in non-formal work environments). while they actively continue to be affected by the consequences of their choices and continue to blaming all men for it Where am I blaming all men? This is an early playground lesson we all have to learn, not everyone is gonna wanna play your game. Men want to play dodgeball, women want to play foursquare. Just because men put in a lot of effort getting all the balls together and clearing a space to play, it doesn't mean women have to stop playing foursquare. It doesn't mean men did more of the work for everyone. They did more work for their game. Here's the thing, men here always say that. But I've never stopped getting hit on/cold approac…

Your advice is not wrong per se but it is still heavily rooted in basically "women can do no wrong and have to spend no effort, men you have to do everything, spend all the time and effort and investment, while women will put in no effort, as well as reserve the right to turn you down and possibly mock you while they're at it". It's rooted in the fact that it's men asking how to ask out women. How to ask out women who are strangers to them. As is well established at this point, women just don't …

As a woman not on the apps, the thought of being on them genuinely scares me. I have friends, women and men, who have been stalked by people from the apps. I have friends who went on dates with persons from the apps, and ended up in scary situations where they felt forced to play along for safety. I could handle the gross comments and pics. I'm tough like that, but the idea that people in my area could see my pic and then see me at my job seriously freaks me out. The women on the apps are not as…

She was shooting her shot. This is a classic scenario many movies and tv shows have depicted. She likely already had decided she was going to talk to those men, and you trying to start a conversation with her was gonna impede those plans. In 10 seconds she didn't "assess your value" she likely wasn't thinking much of you at all. That can feel bad to be on the other end of, but its really not about you.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/25 03:52 AM

No, but I was one for longer than most are. I also have known other women, and if they weren't waiting for (perfectly valid mind you) religious reasons, it was due to mental/emotional stuff. Judge all you want, but plenty of older virgins are sex positive ¯\(ツ)/¯

There are a small percent of women like that. The chance they'd be turned on by your judgement of others starting their adulthood at a normal time, while not being a religious conservative, would be low. Because people who stay virgins that long (and aren't asexual) either are religious conservatives/raised as religious conservatives or have mental stuff going on. Very few are just perfectly happy people who just haven't found the perfect person. The ones who have mental stuff going on - for wom…

/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/25 10:12 AM
2

Point out where I was speaking of myself. But you know for a fact a woman's presence is worth paying for and men do it all the time. Don't play dumb. Again, women often are not super into the idea of a date, and you're not going to change their minds with insults.

If a woman is with you on a date, she has already "done" something. She's with you, on a date. You got what you wanted. She obliged your request for her time. Men pay because normally they're the ones asking a woman out. Not uncommonly, the woman took some persuasion to say yes. Paying is part of making a yes more attractive, as she won't be out money if she agrees. With that said, be smart about who you ask out and you can get 50/50. A woman done up to the 9s prob wants you to pay, she knows wh…

/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 06:33 AM

That just means you're sample isn't a representative one, because it's not like all short men are fit. And if you know these guys you can ask them what body type they like. I'm just stating the reality, if most of your dating pool is fat, that's not gonna change. Because it's so tied to location.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 06:26 AM

California is shorter than other states because of our higher diversity. The higher income areas have plenty of shorter men. If you don't like the dating pool where you live, really the only option is to leave it. Be it for weight, religion, income etc. Women can lose weight and so can men, but neither are doing so. Both sexes are just getting fatter.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 06:06 AM

Correct, which is what I'm saying. If you live in an area that are above average obesity rates, you'll see more of that in the dating pool. Shorter people are more prone to obesity too.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 05:53 AM

Other guys here say all they see are men dating 'down' by dating fat chicks. I think a lot you just live in fat areas. I very rarely see a couple that is fat/skinny, no matter height. But my state and area isn't highly obese.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 05:24 AM

If all the tall guys and all the short guys y'all know are dating fat chicks, you just live in a fat area bro.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 05:15 AM

I mean in these online spaces, where it is commonly discussed. I've asked posters here what they expect out of the apps given the extreme gender imbalance, and how the math just doesn't work out. I normally don't get a response after that. Soon they'll pop up again complaining about women on the apps. Obviously, the apps themselves are not going to let the secret slip to normal users. But people here do know the apps hiding this reality and want to bait you into spending money.

This is why I'm left cold when the men's problem on dating apps are brought up. I feel bad for men who are unaware of this reality and think the problem is unique to them - but many men are aware of this and still chose to put all their eggs in the OLD basket. Even if every single woman on the apps got into a relationship with a man from the apps - the ideal outcome - there would still be hoards of level over men. Because women just don't use the apps.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/25 06:22 PM

Well, yes and no. I think for shy people, the feeling that people dislike you is real when the reach outs for connections stop. But I'm presenting the other side of that. That despite my reach outs he still isn't super comfortable.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/25 09:37 AM

Making someone shy is actually a huge high.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/25 09:30 AM

Well, my point wasn't that it was a turn on or turn off, but that it legit makes it quite difficult to get to know someone. To get a proper read on them. Shy people see people pull away and feel unliked, but being on the receiving end of shyness can also feel like someone doesn't really like you. With this guy, even though he's displaying what I call friendly shyness, I've still had to mull it over. To see if I'm just bugging him by trying to interact with him. It makes me second guess my own so…

Here's its often claimed that women "hate" shy men, but like, I personally don't. But shyness does makes it very difficult to get to know people. Current example, I have a what I assume is a shy coworker. I don't see him often due to our hours and that our tasks differ so we don't work together much. While I've forced him to talk to me a few times and I gauge him as friendly, I can see he doesn't see me as someone he can just talk to. Which means I know nothing about him. And we've worked togeth…

/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 07:25 PM

Attraction is needed for good sex most of the time, yeah but its only like 10% of the act itself. It might get better but there's also a reason the last girl he got to agree didn't stick around lol She might feel bad about that and want to try being slutty lol
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 12:39 PM

It's really a wild demand in planned encounters for hetero stuff. (not that its wise for gay stuff but PrEP gives a false sense of security) The reason a lot of hook ups lack it is substance use. He's her second? No offense but in that case I doubt it was even good lol she's just telling herself that most likely. It sounds like she doesn't want a high n count and is gonna just stick with this guy now that she gave it up. Lots of smart people end up at the clinic.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 12:11 PM

You're kinda burring the lead that this guy is having trouble finding a woman to go along with his rawdog thing. That means most women are actually staying away from him. Your ex sounds like she lacks enough experience to safely and wisely do casual sex/dating. And she wasn't rewarded with anything special for it, she's getting not great sex with extra clean up.

Ambition isn't tied to just work. Ambition can be in hobbies or something. Right. I don't think they realize what they're implying when they say this. You have no ambition? You're content in a passive nothing existence? I know people like that and they're not fun to be around and lead weights to whomever they rope into supporting them. Ambitious does not mean ruthless moneymaker, but it means you have a purpose for life.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 07:36 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 07:23 PM

Progressive people are normally ambitious though. CF people don't want the burden of children weighing them down, why would they want an adult child?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 07:21 PM

If men marry down most times why not the opposite Because men want women more than women want men. Ambitious women are not to blame for that.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 06:48 PM

But that's not the topic. The topic is why childfree women should like non-ambitious men
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 06:45 PM

Some men will unironically offer poverty as bait and wonder why they have no fish biting.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 06:14 PM

But I don't want to have to do that, I don't think you understand that. I've had friends who have been stalked from just messaging on apps. (and the wording there is because the stalkers haven't been limited to just men). I just do not want to deal with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 06:57 PM

Mind you, the scenario here is I barely know the guy but I have enough infatuation with him to want to get to know him. If instead of trying to get to know him and feel things out, I go straight to asking him out - I think that often signals way way more than I'd want it to. They'll think they can marry a guy like me just because I let them have sex with me. I've known plenty of child free/sex pos/non-monogamous fat chicks. There's plenty that will fuck NSA. So unless you lie to get in bed with women, you're writing a little fantasy in your head that you'll ruin them
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 06:26 AM

thinking you're going to give them unrealistic expectations is ego. its even funnier given you're actually attracted to them, so whats even unrealistic about it? you really think you're the first fit chubby chaser? lol and come on, do you also stop your self from going after short women? they're the worse with the height stuff. are you sure you just don't want to catch feelings for one of these women you're attracted to?

I think dating apps are probably the worse use-case to the determine chronic "online" ness of anyone. As they're really not super time sucks unless you pay and fixate to an unhealthy level (you run of likes pretty quit no?) Internet/ screen use as well as hobbies is pretty gendered. That's why both sexes can have screentime that's more or less the same and exist in pretty separate worlds. Trying to get laid isn't a crime and not really why women don't like apps. Women are on the apps trying to get laid too (much smaller mind you). Plenty of happy relationships come from hooks ups. The issue is men who lie about it or have no tact when doing so, which is not all.

they really don't need to stay on the app for long to get their fix. This doesn't account for the reported stats we have on the apps. So if in one month 80% of all users who check the app even once are male, and only 20% are female... how are you drawing that 'women' are addicted? You guys are thoroughly broken what the concept of average means in debate but the idea here is that, the average man any guy picked at random, can't handle casual sex culture and still maintain his ability to "pair bond" with an eventually life partner. An above average man in this context would be someone who can have lots of casual sex but has a basic emotional connection with each of them and can still fall deeply in love and commit.

Well, it doesn't. Not for most women. Meeting a guy I find attractive and am drawn too - makes me shy and a bit giddy. I just get aware of myself and my behavior and don't want to look foolish in front of him. There is no instant desire to jump his bones. Meeting any ol' objectively attractive guy, a Chad so to speak, doesn't do anything for me.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/25 02:15 PM

No. People go out (or go on the internet) with the intent to hook up. Men and women. They look for something that passes the minimum threshold. And often people will use substances to lower that even.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/25 01:53 PM

Over a fake story written by a man? These stories are always so silly. This guy waited for a year, knew his gf wasn't a virgin, told his sister they waited a year and she wasn't a virgin, suddenly discovered she had a ONS, told his sister and she's saying he needs to end it? There's a lot of social norms being broken here. Two non-virgins waiting abnormally long for sex without reason rooted in religion/trauma/or marriage being the end goal. Another thing I wanna bring up is the stories of very sexually inhibited women (perhaps traumatized) finding an awesome male partner Right. The partnership and mutual interest comes first. People are willing to help people they care about and have an interest in. By definition inhabited women do not lead with their sexual desire. They are getting lucky that this time, the guy actually cares about them. Plenty of women have had multiple partners who didn't care at all about if they were enjoying …

Assigning these words to how you "feel" about a person instead of plainly what they look like is stupid at best and willfully complicating communication at worst. It's just how many women work. That's not gonna please black and white thinkers, but it's how it is. I don't think Timothée Chalamet is attractive at all. I like him as an actor, feel nothing for his face. I don't think he's hot. /r/PurplePillDebate15/11/25 04:49 AM

It's less trying to attract men, then straight women don't often have a trigger to question (heteronormative) beauty standards. Thus women will adhere to them even if they're not looking for a man. Modern feminists claim their fixation on men’s height and fitness is a payback to the standards we ‘imposed’ on them in the past. Modern feminist claim nothing of the sort. It's contradictory because putting a lot of effort into ones looks does demand a high amount of energy and resources. On the apps. But LBR most 5'10 to 5'11 men are listing themselves are 6 foot and most women cannot tell. So the 6 foot rule is really more or less equal to a hard and fast weight rule. But IRL 5'9 is more then playable height wise. Even heightcel agree that the effect starts to kick in around 5'7
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/25 12:11 AM

The funny thing is, I'm actually against the height inflation thing, and I think weight is a more valid and practical reason to not date someone. But if I applied that to dating, I'd be cutting out way more men. Making a weight rule cuts far out more of the population then a height rule. 50% of men in the US are 5'9 or taller, but somewhere around 60-75% are overweight or obese (depending on age)

I don't think it's attractiveness induced exactly, its' just something you'll see reported again and again. And clashes with the idea here that only hot normie people have sex lives, or are the 'keepers' of everyone's sex lives.

There is just such a weird disconnect here between the reality that most people that have super freaky sex lives, are not conventionally attractive. Your looksmatched nerd couple goes to BDSM parties. Your 3(00lb) chick with a 4.5 dude are poly. Your 55 year old, seen better days, neighbors are swingers. The trans guy you know who doesn't pass has plenty of willing blue haired bullnose ring chicks at the ready. Trailer trash who are missing teeth get up to all sorts nasty stuff. The secret to ha…

I didn't say it makes them invalid, but it makes them unusable to me and many others. The apps give low barrier stalkers much more to work with than IRL approaches. People would wouldn't go to the length to stalk someone they met IRL have a much simpler path online. They have your name, area you live in, and your pictures and whatever else you freely give. Are they free of mixed signals and judgement? The biggest issue with apps is mismatched desires. Many people on them do not want romantic con…

What do you mean by valid. Should we shame or fine couples who meet IRL? Should we all be compelled to join dating apps? If so, which one? All of them? Online dating is perfectly valid, but for many people, it's as uncomfortable and scary as IRL dating is to you. I personally, have zero desire to use a dating app and the idea gives me anxiety. There's also been cases of women (and some men) being stalked by people they rejected on the apps. Either by swiping no, or talking and rejecting. So this…

Why would most people sexualize, a lack of feeling? People desire physical sensations, not a lack of them. The basic idea, that more means more feeling, is simple and fairly logical. Men and women do this - lets not even touch the topic of gay men. Who do you think runs Bad Dragon. And as for women, women don't know much about dick size! Many women who claim they love a big dick, have a past boyfriend as a reference point. If he was 5.5 inches but told her he was 7 - that's what she thinks she c…

I'm disappointed the 'full frontal' is a dick print! If anything, this is proof most women don't know what a big dick is.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 03:07 AM

It's not lol assuming he's a shower. The thrill is that it's really his penis, and the women already like him. It's the same as when an actress shows her boobs, even if they're not zomg huge.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 06:21 PM

Man who are attracted to men still display male attraction. News at 11.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 08:54 PM

Look at it this way: a tall, slim, blonde with blue eyes and legs for days will generally be seen as conventionally attractive. Perhaps even model like. People around her and herself will imagine her "league" is probably some fit tall guy with a chiseled face. No doubt about it here. Now meet her opposite: a short curvy girl with thunder thighs and bamby brown eyes. Despite not having the proportions of a model no one thinks her "league" is a short stocky man. Her female friends will say that sh…

On dating apps, which is allegedly now the number 1 way people meet, the proportional difference is in my opinion fucking absurd. Meeting online doesn't mean meeting on an app. Women do not use dating apps at nearly the same frequency as men. The reality you're likely looking at is: There are far fewer real female profiles, those users spend less time on the apps when active, and ultimately are more likely to cease use totally or cycle through use with long periods of not checking. You write fro…

The answer is culture. People desires for their appearance is shaped by culture, having a nice body is culture capital. Showing it off is signaling worth. Fashion is signaling. Finding new options for showing off the body and what wares you can afford are both currency. But with that said, are that many women really dressing provocatively, or is it just hot outside? Are they dressing provocatively, or do they just have large breasts/butts? Is it provocative or is it normal but fetished? At a cer…

It's like 70% women and 2/3 of the men there are gay.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/25 07:48 PM

That level of shallowness is flat out inconceivable to guys. Some1 has been on Grindr with a gay friend. And this is a little funny in a thread that has a guy bemoans about fatties everyday.

I have said on here that I prefer "feminine men", but got comments such as "oh yeah?? bet you wouldn't like a man with child-bearing hips and like.. BREASTS! That's what feminine means!" and my protests that to most people "feminine man" is more akin to "sensitive twink" fell on deaf ears. It's actually wild. The idea of a looksmatch goes out the window.

You don't see any irony is using Christine Chubbick as an example? In the same post where you maintain that all women can get sex/relationships when they want? Chubbick had deep emotional and metal issues, which was the barrier between her and romance. She could not see this and fixated on the lack of romance verse the issues that were underlying. If she had help for her mental health and stopped being so self-negative, she would have likely found both romance and the ability to be happy without…

I noticed that it seems like she looks more masculine and in her time 70’s, men were really into more confident and feminine women. No, she was seen as beautiful. She was an on-air personality. She was very self-negative and it made it difficult for people to connect with her.

I'm morbidly obese. It'll take way longer than 1-2 years for me to get in shape. And even if I did somehow get a hot woman, she won't stay hot forever. She'll age, she'll gain weight. Bro.

Men had no problems approaching women in real life despite high rejection rates until women came on the Internet to call every guy who approached them Schrödinger’s Rapist or call guys who so much as looked at them eye rapists. Dating apps are the "safe" option to approach women until they make it unambiguously clear that they want a return to normal. Excuses. These men admit they don't even know women in IRL. Autistic/anxiety ridden men who grew up gaming and thus have no social skill did not g…

For a group who are allegedly eager to pair up and start families women refuse to approach, refuse to initiate sex, refuse to propose, preferring to play mind games and give ultimatums then act shocked when men don't want to deal with that headache. Just like the men here who are desperate for a gf but refuse to do more then have a profile on a dating app! Wants don't always guide behavior. Yeah the average male is more concerned with getting into a relationship at all especially with a sane wom…

Unless you're stupid, you're not having kids unless you the stability needed to raise them. That typically means having a partner/getting married. You have to go pretty far up income before there's a notable increase to having 3 kids per family. People are not having that many kids because of limited resources to devote to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 09:10 PM

Staying with a man for years and still not getting that ring is not betabuxing very good. If people didn't want kids, fertility treatments and surrogacy wouldn't be in such high demand. People want kids, they're just delaying to the point having more than 1 or 2 is difficult.

The issue with a lot of gender wars stuff, is it demands you exist in opposite day land. Where it's overwhelmingly men who are eager to pair up and start families. When that's just not reality. I've never had a male friend antsy and depressed because their partner hadn't proposed/giving a signal they want to be proposed to. I've never had a male friend heartbroken because the put down an ultimatum and their partner left rather than commit to marriage and children. take r/Waiting_To_Wed its basic…

We're overpopulated and about to have our livable space reduced, as well as an upheaval in our ability to feed ourselves. Zero reason to worry about a decline in population rn, its one area were we're letting the steam out. Marriage is linked to good outcomes for kids yes, but marriage is also increasingly a habit of the middle and upper class. Stable people marry, and can stably raise their kids. What other functions do you mean? Like, elder care? Because I'll tell you what, few things damper m…

But why tho? The only real answer is the birthrate but, in many ways population decline is a good thing and coupling no longer reliably leads to children. DINK is the ideal relationship model for many. You're never going to force attraction or affection. Cultures that do arranged marriage know whatever comes from those unions is only rarely as great as a self chosen love. The is only creating more spaces for it to spark organically.

Mr. Collins. A marriage of necessity is just that. You also have Lydia and Wickham, who are in a loveless marriage by the end because Wickham needs money and gets browbeaten into accepting Lydia for it.

Pride and Prejudice's plot is based on the economic necessity of marriage for women, and there's a character that is rich but so poorly socialized and obnoxious, that no woman wants him. He is settled for by an aging woman.

You can't get a voice job like you can a boob job. And tenors have deep voices too! Plenty of tenors have dark tones with depth. That's really what people mean when they say deep. A lot of men people think are baritones, are tenors! Actual men with low voices tend to shock people. As for singers today, Giveon is an actual baritone.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/25 02:14 PM

Humanity is dominated by tenors, like 80% of men are tenors. R&B singers often sing nasal which makes their voice sound higher, because the nasal placement helps with doing runs, gives it a little edge. Some singers today are too nasal tho!
