Thanks for the advice. There are two houses, one in my name only which my parents live in with about 40% left on the mortgage. However, I think under U.K. Law, even if it's my name only, she is able to claim half despite never paying a penny towards it. The second house is worth a lot more but has about 75% of the mortgage left to pay and is in joint names.
