Thanks dude - I think alpha is a bit of a loose term for everyone to agree on, but I'm all about becoming a better man, glad you like it for that

Thanks man :) I don't know if there is a universal definition for being alpha (we've all got different wants/desires, and an alpha I think can be summed up as someone who satisfies all these) - but if you've got something out of this then awesome!

I will be doing a post similar to this on a weekly basis, doing my best to tackle the definition of alpha - I will be editing this post in the future, so please offer your well-informed influence :D

Do you believe you can do anything whatsoever to influence how others receive your presents or how desirable they find spending time with you? I am a firm believer that we have a strong control in how others see us, and by extension can influence others to like us. Your own experiences don't allow to state your opinion as the truth. and thats the truth, sorry :) Seriously though why are you posting me this, now? I don't practice pick-up right now as I'm busy with other areas, but I think a lot o…

well if you want to be alone with your own thoughts and devices..... then whats the issue? unless you don't want that then..... what is your discomfort (at which point you say something like you're unsatisfied/unhappy with current situation), to which I say why do you want what you're not happy with.

Only read the tl;dr, I'm sure the latter is heart-wrenching but its late. "antisocial" - if you are antisocial, then what why would you be posting this? Theres a difference between antisocial and poor-social skills, so lets immediately trim that fat "introvert" - Nothing wrong here whatsoever, however being an introvert means your comfort zones haven't been pushed, so start doing social things... push them, it gets easier... will forever always be a little bit of a challenge at times.... does ge…

There are and always will be an endless volume of AFC's However it isn't a very good idea to introduce (especially people you don't even know) to the Pick-up community. This isn't exactly the best kept secret - pick-up (or seddit for that manor) isn't a secret society where people only discover it through being introduced by someone. If these people are truly frustrated with their lives, then let them make the first step in the door - rather than grabbing them, placing them at the front of the d…

only read the TLDR Best advice to give: if you're interested in becoming less analytical (which is a beautiful thing to have), then you need to get out more - when you have so much "on" you won't have nearly the time/effort to analyze everything to death, so get more going on if you want to have more success with anything socailly - Read EVERYTHING in the sidebar, make notes - then read the top 100 all time seddit posts, ALL OF THEM, again take notes, then you'll recognise that you're passion fo…

I think height just gages who is more 'accessible' to approach, the 5'5 girls are may feel intimidated, but the girls who are 6'0+ are going to be checking you out, praying that mr.tall sees them fit to approach! On a side note mystery is 6'5, which is still abnormally tall and given he wears massive boots exaggerating his height, hes doing pretty well ;)

Sober Pros: More aware of reading the interaction -> more aware of how you want to esculate Have absolute control over what is happening -> shows you off as confident in a way alcohol can't Cons: Can come across as creepy if you're uncomfortable with the actual escalation/interaction If there isn't a natural flow which has to be there if you're flying sober, then it will disrupt the flow of the interaction Intoxicated Pros: Can influence you to push your comfort zone, which can lead to situation…

Well if you're calling someone out on being sweet, and they attempt to counter your statement with something... like sneaking the word 'seduce' in there (which isn't desperately 'sexual'), and that creeps you out?..... Well to be honest it sounds like your standards of 'sweetness' are simply too low if they're completely blown out and abandoned by a single response (not a remark, but a response to an otherwise poor statement; ie there is no substance behind telling someone there sweet, there is …

well this isn't a shit test, but you're right in thinking its not in your favour. "Oh you're so sweet" "I bet you say that to all the guys you're trying to seduce!" It does add a subtle layer of sexual intent (you're jokingly pointing out that she's trying to seduce you), she'll immediately try and cover herself ("NOO! I'm not trying to seduce you, I'm just saying you're really sweet"), to which you evidently do a sarcastic "Riiiiiight....." (then wink) (then laugh together), Boom!

well I think you're treating this as too big of a deal, so relax! A text can never be "forceful", it is however "impulsive"....... but.... so? Impulsive is good! In terms of your 'trial run', I'd say it'd be better to suggest what how you're going to catch up, "do you fancy going for a coffee/drink sometime this weekend?", its a very mild display of dominance, and the lessing back/forthing with texts = less flaking possibility

sorry to be that guy but /r/askseddit should be for questions, seddit is for exchanging and sharing ideas As to your question, I don't think approaching people to be friends with, should deviate from your regular approach. And if you're really struggling to find people to interact with you may have to resort to the bar/club scene
/r/seduction11/06/12 10:11 AM

I don't think that's entirely true, there is more than one way to check out a girl. Obviously you don't want to be gawping or starring at them, but I think if you meet the gaze of an attractive girl then you can immediately spark attraction, IF you go straight for her. Checking girls out shouldn't negatively affect how often you get checked out, but if it really is then I'd probably say change the way you 'check them out'.

Thanks man, although I think there is something to be said with the 'alpha talk' (I interpret alpha as pretty much the persona you want to be), its a hard one to talk about as its different to so many people. BUT there are some universal traits, I'll be delicate about it in my next post ;)

Yeah by the time I got to 'sexual intent' I kind of slowed down, so sorry for not going into detail on much. Well 'man up and do it' isn't really great advice as you already know that (whether you care to admit or not) ;) Kino can't really be forced, as its HAS to be a NATURAL process within the interaction. Maybe to start easing into this 'natural frame', I'd recommend start by greeting acquaintances with a handshake and friends with a hug, if thats not too out of your comfort zone. Sometime ne…

I've found that through non-sexual relationships with women that there is a lot to still 'bond' with, ie I have a different kind of fun with female friends, than say guy friends I'm not saying that I'm not sexually attracted to these people (and who's to say there not to me?), but there are benefits socially with having female friends - I think you've inspired me to make a post on it sometime next week :)
/r/seduction10/06/12 10:42 AM

absolutely, I'd rather offer guidelines than specific instructions with seduction - I'll probably do a post about defining an alpha or atleast some qualities relevant to not "giving a fuck" ;)

maybe his "point" is after 3-4 weeks, pretty much if OP faps when 'forcing' it, maybe he should wait until he doesn't need to force it (which, yes, maybe beyond the horizon but I think 3-4 weeks is still a short period to give up on)

Sounds a little abstract, but seriously try visiting /r/NoFap From my own experiences once you've lasted a week your body WILL become more excitable and you won't even need to consider 'effort' to become sexual or attempt that frame when opening a set

I've only read your first sentence, so I'm sorry if this isn't applicable - Girls are people, I'm a very high-value person (or thats how I see myself), so I'm gonna go start a conversation with these girls, either they realise my awesomeness and things go well.... or there the kind of girls who aren't getting to know as they clearly prefer there own company to others As you get better you move more girls into the group worth getting to know BECAUSE you become more worth knowing/conversing with

Read the HELL out of everything in the sidebar, cherry-pick the ideas you like, put them into practice Too make an incredible long description, short: ALPHA = Confident, Happy, well-groomed, Polite, Fearless, Living in the moment without the depression of the past or the anxiety of the future seriously though its in your interest to read like everything the mods have put there, its all gold
/r/seduction04/05/12 08:05 PM

Why does everyone think I'm gay? to answer your own question and thats because I'm scared of talking to girls If people ask if your gay, the ALPHA thing to do is to go all camp and say "oh you can't be serious darling!", you'll share a laugh and they get the message that you're not (as opposed to a "no I'm not gay, I wish you'd guys would leave me alone and stop asking me" kind of repsonse)
/r/seduction04/05/12 07:54 PM

ahh no worries, well some of the stuff IS to do with manipulating, but alot of it is to do with being able to evoke interest in the other party (not necessarily manipulating), but being a dad may shift your gaze about your daughter ;)
/r/seduction04/05/12 07:48 PM
2

well not everything works (or is) for everyone, like you said, the genius stuff is great (for you), but it may even repulse others. I'm sure your upbringing has given you specific values which WILL differ to some of the content on here If you really wanna get your "dick blown", then kill the part of you which is "analytical", if you have the time to analyse everything you do then you're clearly not doing enough ;)

Ok, for now lets scrap the term 'neediness' - maybe replace with a nice word like DESIRE - I'm not overly educated on psychology, but I think everything comes down to a desire (or need), there is even a need to not come across as needy? There are lots of people who don't look up into 'seducing' women and just do it there way, and it works for a lot of people! But with the whole network here, there are some people who do 'need' better skills to pick-up girls, but there are many who just want to s…

I'm not a parent (far from it) anyway I just wanted to comment about "daughters how not to fall for it" I think you're misunderstanding the whole concept of what 'seddit' stands for, GOOD pua's always leave people better off than before the initial encounter, ie if a pua is 'opening' your daughter, then thats probably a good/better thing than compared to someone who knows the average amount about interacting. Just wanted to say, what WE as a community do is NOT a bad thing (or something to tell …

Its scary to think this world is growing exponentially, I can't really see/imagine seduction being a mainstream thing in our society. I suspect game will be a craze for the 90% interested, mass-self-improvement just doesn't sound like it could happen

I like to send a text within the 24 hours of closing, personally anyway - I'll normally send a text saying the obligatory "nice meeting you" (or similar message), BUT I'll also tag on to the end of it something like "also I think you might have my wallet xD" - obviously she won't but it'll kinda encourage her to reply essentially saying she doesn't have it, THEN I'll reply saying essentially "Ah no worries I found it in the microwave?! so how was you're night?" Now she's already 1 text into the …

Maybe you're leaving it too long from close to text? Or maybe you're not building enough attraction/comfort on the first initial encounter - I think this is a universal problem across seduction, I think the only way to reduce the 'flake' rate is to just improve your form/appeal on the initial encounter Maybe consider checking out some text-game posts as well

For people who you want to re-connect with, if its been a while (like a couple months atleast) then I'd send them a text saying something like: "saw 2 ducks in the park fighting over a piece of bread, made me think of you x" If she is interested she'll respond with whatever, and then you can the pointless discussion in a jokey way relevant to her reply, and from there ask her how shes been, blah blah blah fancy getting a drink or whatever? - I can't take credit for this 'idea' but I've used succ…

I don't think anyone one article can stand alone as being the single most important - i.e. without the other information from other articles, it is arguably useless (unless if it covers the absolute universal fundamentals) Honestly read the absolute shit out of Everything from the sidebar - then it'll be easier to isolate articles on specifics rather than the ambiguous "important"

If you go out with the solid aim to have fun, you will likely have fun and get results If you go out with the solid aim to get closes, you will likely not have fun and by extension may even lower your results Its all about getting into that frame of mind (for me anyway), and I achieved this through making a point of having a good time, and then opening sets - for me as still a bit of a beginner anyway

If this is just been on the off-occasion then its probably just a bad spell of girls. I think a successful opener should offer plenty of opportunities to move on to the next topic of conversation, which should Directly link into the next topic and so on, a heavily abridged example of topic after topic: P: Hey do you guys know what time this place shuts? I wouldn't let a reply like that phase me, its better to read the text as: "I had a great time meeting you, lets hang out some time" - I'd probably say shes skeptical about doing things with guys shes just met over the weekend, so shes 'building her own comfort' by labelling you two collectively as "friends" - I'd just respond with a suggestion to do something (don't call it a date, but if its just you two then it is heavily implied), and if she FZ's you in person after 'hanging out' then..... s…

I've been to a "silent disco" and thought it was pretty ideal to game - if the headsets have different channels then you can pretty much rave the night away, like seriously be that guy who's dancing WAY over the top seeing as how a lot of people will be nervously admiring the novelty of the whole event, make eye contact (big cheesey grin), mosey on over - also its easy to have a conversation as you can both turn the music off and hear each other speak, however you're unlikely to address full set…

I think observational openers (where you go in and talk about something happening now in the environment) which it sounds like what you did talking about twilight - I don't think "specific topics" are the best idea for opening as more often than not its just a bit out of context. I've found just going up to someone and saying hi, and then making a remark about something going on there and then is a strong way to ensure entertaining but consistent conversation

So you're problem is that you want to avoid making women fall in love with you? well if this really is the problem, maybe earlier on you should establish more 'sexual intent' showing that you're interested in them physically (as well as emotionally) tofutofu did a post on it rescently - that way you're going to come across as more 'casual' relationship rather than them seeing you as the next, "the one".

Style, thanks for introducing me into the world of pick-up - could you suggest a few lesser known openers which you have found successful, many thanks :D

If I'm absolutely exhausted (either I've got home after a night out at 5am or I've been up cramming for a deadline) but I need to function during the day in a public place, I'll excuse myself, find a public restroom and essentially wash my face/forearms/neck just to act as a kick-start Although if I'm at the point where I'm physically struggling to maintain a conversation I just simply say "fuck it" and right the day off and try to rest up to be on topform for tomorrow

Well congrats on getting the first date - I've forgotten where I read it but theres a concept that if you successfully provide 2 of the 3 there'll provide the other: -Comfort -Attraction -Seduction You build comfort from not being a douchebag, you create a friendship which simultaneously builds trust. She's already accepted your date so you should have no problem making her feel secure You build attraction by coming across as a guy who 'adds value' (I don't like the term adding value, but it mea…

When I go out with friends who are in-relationships they generally tell me off for going off by myself as apposed to just staying with them not interacting with other people - Seriously don't worry about it, they are content with what they have and don't like the idea of losing your company. There hardly gonna open some sets or start a conversation with new people so they want to cling on to the mates there out with. What I normally end up doing is telling them I'm off to sarge or walk around or…

I discovered seddit about a month ago and after a month I really have noticed an improvement on myself with seduction and overall being a better person. The anecdote about putting yourself in situations where you expect to fail but succeed and learn something you didn't expect, I really like that idea. I still really don't know much about pick-up but I've got alot of mistakes to discover and try for myself in the hope of finding methods which work for me. Thanks for the post, enjoyed it

"o lordy what have I gotten myself into...." = your meeting up with a HB and taking her to a formal gathering which she didn't have to attend with you -first off relax, you took a risk asking her and its payed off, understand this is a good thing! -drive her there, don't lunch before hand, if you really wanna do something do it afterwards, atleast then you'll have more to talk about if your intimidated by this girl theres no such thing as a "fake-alpha thing", accept the fact you were (and can b…

-stay friends, espescially if there not in your social circle -get to know there social circles/ arrange to meet up with her and her friends on a night out or something -instant opportunity with a +3/4 set, and they know you're a 'legit' friend - Also if you're sarging with a group of girls, you've gone up atleast 1.5 points on your scale! -if it doesn't happen you've made some new friends reset the whole processs!

Something I 'accidently' discovered, if you really are fun/brave enough to try - get an apple and tie a hole through it with some string (will take a few mins), and go out with a freaking apple tied around your neck as a medalion! Bare in my haters gonna hate it probably won't grab girls attention but if your talking to them, THEIR gonna ask - pretty much say you lost a bet or you get some fruit energy from its juices (anything which makes you come across as fun) wait for it if you're showing it…
