Im relatively young (24) and i can atleast gove some insight why In my time growing up, We had a lot of expectations forced on us, We were ignored in our health and pressured, While we saw how people would treat woman Especially in modern society, growing up i was constantly reminded im dangerous, considered a predator, considered weird. And now we are just called incels by many woman for not caring or having interest. It doesnt help that im autistic either.. Its very easy to become hateful beca…

Its pretty sad, but if a person wont admit they have or are a problem trying to help them often goes nowhere. Its a shitty scenario but not much you could do. Self feeding cycle really. And yeah, its pretty wild in the current age being LGBT. Kinda feels af if people go too far with their identity as a whole and push to make it their whole personality.

Its pretty relatable I find as a bisexual male myself, the moment im interested in or with a woman im no longer "One of them and disowned". Im a "traitor" Im not sure what your coworkers logic even is, it seems like she purposly seeks out potentially problematic men? Then has the audacity to say "Kill all men, only straight ones though!" Girl; if you want to find a good man you have stop being a toxic leech on society lmao

Agreed The age gap is wide, But she isnt a child. Its a bit weird but calling him a pedo is outrighr disingenous and shows their true nature

IMO they are lowering the standard of rape to the point actual victims regardless of sex are just going to be ignored, which is terrifying! Sexual harassment and Rape are both bad, But they arent the same crime...
/r/MensRights11/07/22 12:34 PM

Yeah its pretty scary, Alot of Men my age (Early 20s) are afraid to even approach woman in public out of fear of being accused of harassment... Its like living in a state of constant paranoia. Feeling like we have to walk on eggshells based on the notion it takes 1 accusation for our life to be ruined is anxiety inducing

Ironically, We have female omly gyms but no Male only People would be outraged at a "Male Only Gym" i bet
/r/MensRights11/07/22 12:18 PM

Doesn't that imply our value as men is far lower than that of a woman?
/r/MensRights11/07/22 12:05 PM

Woman (In the west anyway) are seemingly held on a untouchable pedastal where any criticism against them makes you the offender. It doesn't mattee how terrible their crime is, they will still get a lighter sentence and more accomidations People wont care to look at the health because the good old "Men are violent" rhetoric and a toxic view of us We are people too with health and feelings, We seem to suffer the most for our health yet noone cares until we snap...

Its a double standard and about "empowerment" I can understand in a case like GP/Doctors (Preffering same sex) but in a majority of professions i simply dont give a shit If someone is a professional, Does the job and is good at it i don't care what sex they are

I try my hardest to ignore social medias view of us Theres good people of all sexes out there, Just wish people actually took our issues as men seriously It seems to be the "it doesnt effect me so its not an issue" mentality

This hits pretty hard for me, and its difficult as im on the autism spectrum as im easily impacted by it Its gotten to the point where i have an unironic fear of intimacy with woman (only really men nowadays) due to constant mental manipulation i suffered Even if its "unintentional", its consistent. Any attempt to talk about how their actions were manipulative were quickly shut down with other manipulative tactics, or explaining how they are the victim I have even had them try to gaslight me con…

We have that alot in our schools here now with "gender self identification" despite not being a fully legal, a pretty poor system if you ask me as its easy to abuse it There have also been pushes to make laws around gender self id Its only getting worse as people are trying to push the boundaries of "self identification"

I wouldnt say thats a joke What is a joke is how easy it is to change gender and claim to be trans without dysphoria, which i have found to be a strange issue in many LGBT Circles i am part of and pushed away from because of it Im sure what they mean is the new "transgender" movement of people without dysphoria and mad identity politics, not the small minority of people who have diagnosable dysphoria
/r/MensRights15/02/22 10:51 AM

Yeah, from an equity stand point it makes sense Tbh, id be happy if they lowered male retirement to the same as female retirement rather than raise it for woman Benificial for men, while being "equal"
/r/MensRights15/02/22 10:01 AM

I wonder if the average life expectancy would equal out if woman took many of the same jobs men did? I imagine constant stressful working conditions and riskier jobs has something to do with ir

I think in part of having kids is what bothers me the most Some people outright have children to get benifits on welfare, its pretty sad but alot of people do it and its not unheard of Arguably alot of these parents arent even capable of caring for their kids and shouldnt have them in the first place
/r/MensRights15/02/22 09:54 AM

Its sad honestly thats how we have been raised to live Im trying my best to save up, invest and reach financial freedom as i get older, but its difficult as hell
/r/MensRights15/02/22 09:48 AM

Id be annoyed if my retirement age was raised, even if by a year. Although it is equal atleast Should have lowered it for men instead, Would have been both equal and a nice benifit. I doubt most men would complain about any earlier retirement
/r/MensRights15/02/22 09:46 AM
13

They do on average I imagine its because men generally work more in more dangerous and stressful environments, which would shorten your life a touch So its funny woman had a earlier retifement at all, it should have been equal as it is
/r/MensRights15/02/22 09:44 AM
1

Giga brain Forreal though, i wish all countries had am equal retirement age for sex But instead of raising it for woman, lower it for men to be the same as womans (I dont think i could see any guy complaining about earlier retirement!)
/r/MensRights15/02/22 08:55 AM

Id argue being stronger than your abuser makes the situation even worse aswell.. If you retaliate, they become the victim and you are done for If you talk about it they joke about it as "you are bigger/stronger than them" It may aswell be playing a losing game
/r/MensRights11/02/22 02:20 PM

I feel this pretty hard A huge majority of my harassment has been from woman alone (mental or physical) so it bothers me to see it always portrayed that the male is the aggressor. Its a problem that men are often portrayed this way My lssue I have is i have personally no way to retaliate without being the issue or speak up without people outright not believing me. It also doesnt help that i am autistic and easily coerced I imagine a 6'2 guy standing up against harassment from a much smaller woma…
/r/MensRights11/02/22 12:57 PM

The interesting part about that too is it proves that its not "only men" who are the abuser, despite the constant narratives While yes it is sad to see people abused, it atleast is against the usual narrative and might just open peoples eyes a bit
/r/MensRights11/02/22 12:50 PM

I gueas its kinda like "It benifits me so im not against it". Pretty silly but I've heard it a few times before, even if they dont ask for it, they wont reject it either Although, that mindset within itself is also problematic There always will be fields dominated by one or the other sex, quotas are just unneeded "fix" and devalue people
/r/MensRights11/02/22 12:38 PM
3

Im not gunna say theres an agenda, But yes this is a problem Theres a fraction of shelters here that accept men, and the ones that do most are not "male only" Given males make up anywhere between 30 -45% of victims, the fact that barley 3% of the spaces take men in the UK where i am is a shock
/r/MensRights11/02/22 10:21 AM

Except, i outright said the best solution is to remove it However By the definition of equality it is equality "the state of being equal, especially in status, rights, or opportunities"
/r/MensRights09/02/22 06:05 PM
1

Actually, its exactly equality by definition "the state of being equal, especially in status, rights, or opportunities." This isnt even in the guise of mens rights, its just when woman and men get equal treatment you find that its not all good Theres a lot of things like this where when given equality it causes people to protest it (Retirement age changes for example), because its not benificial lol Also doesnt mean its correct, id rather the draft gone entirely. But i doubt its gunna happen
/r/MensRights09/02/22 04:37 PM
4

My solution is to remove it, but i doubt it's gunna happen However, if people want equality they shouldnt complain when they now have to face the issues the other side faces. At the end of the day in the fight for equality people will have to be willing to take on the others issue
/r/MensRights09/02/22 03:58 PM
3

This isnt being petty, this is just what getting equality entails lol. You get equal treatment and rights, which means both sides equally now have to deal with the same shit Sucks dont it Either way id much rather they remove the draft as a whole, But if people want equality its discrimination to make it male only
/r/MensRights09/02/22 03:50 PM
3

Its also equality, if you want equal treatment, you can't complain when you get it Aint saying its good, But its equality Welcome to our life
/r/MensRights09/02/22 03:19 PM
3

Probably somethinf about not wanting people to feel left out.... However, when that can endager peoples lives i think being left out is the least of their concern
/r/MensRights09/02/22 12:58 PM

I think its fair to say not everyone can do every job and thats OK. Everyone is cut out for different things, no one person can do everything For example,Certain jobs should require certain physical requirements to be met, While this may make it harder for some people to get into, These requirements are pretty damn important
/r/MensRights09/02/22 12:11 PM
1

I don't think its inherently evil, rather people have lost its idea Started as a way for woman to get the opportunities men had, but nowdays im lost on it Still, its all about equality until that military draft comes along!
/r/MensRights09/02/22 12:08 PM
1

In the UK where i am it often feels like it Theres far less support for men in abusive situations for one (fuck all shelters actually), Men are expected to work more, Men are more likely to be in workplace accidents, men account for majoirty of suicides... Men also are much less likely to win custody in courts and serve longer prison sentences for the same crimes A woman legally can't rape a man by the definition of our outdated and crooked law as by our law requires a penis and forced penetrati…

I think sexual harassment imo is a few things -Unwanted sexual advances like physically groping someone or going out of your way to innapropratly "touch" someone -inappropriate sexual comments or remarks directed towards someone. Like verbal advances or directing sexual comments towards someone who does not want them

I understand why Whilst im all for the equal retirement age, this can and will effect alot of families. Which is why they want to compensate for it. Its more an idea of ensuring familys stay stable at this point.

Your post seems fine, What you said is true. There is a heavy Bias in court. It does just sound like convenient or purposeful ignorance on their side. That or flat out brainwashing.

Why would you need to apologize? Not sure where they got the idea that they are ignoring womans issues. You can acknowledge both Male and Female issues. If people want equality everyone needs to be represented and taken seriously. Of course however judging by how they act its clear they are pretty Sexist and the ones trying to dismiss or downplay Mens Issues
/r/MensRights20/11/19 07:48 PM

Unfortunately it seems common that happens in University's, Theres alot of "Extreme" mindsets and "PC" Culture Hopefully they'll realise how hypocritical they are being
/r/MensRights20/11/19 07:27 PM

The issue is, People tend to be very narrowminded and wont look at things from all sides. Alot of these people look at right wing extremists and Assume all people talking about Male Rights are just like them What they were doing was very much sexist and indeed was discrinination. If they want to delude themselves that much, you are probably better getting away from them people. Imagine the backlash if people were to Talk down apon International Womans Day. There is a huge double standard.

Not really, i think it just fulls under sex without consent can be classed as assault
/r/MensRights22/10/19 04:31 PM

As far as im aware, thats how alot of cases will class rape and sexual assault
/r/MensRights22/10/19 01:37 PM

Well yeah that's an obvious fact It's their own fault if people find out and feel betrayed
/r/MensRights07/10/19 08:16 PM

At that point is where it starts to get a bit strange It ain't exactly a problem since everyone has a preference, but most people who transitioned aren't going to tell you since you probably won't be able to tell
/r/MensRights07/10/19 07:12 PM
4

As a trans person myself, this makes me push myself further away from the trans community I don't get how entitled these people are. Some lesbians just don't want your dick. Its not transphobic for them not to sleep with them or like their "girldick". Its just outright insanity.

I think as people have said Willful ignorance Even with all the facts and statistics in the world, people will still believe what they want to believe rather than believing in something which has proof.

In my personal opinion Gender roles at times force people to be something they dont want to be and puts pressure on People to fill a certain role.
/r/MensRights30/09/19 01:40 PM

When it was first a thing, females didn't have the rights and it was a good cause to get woman on the same level as men In more modern times we need to have a more equalist movement to ensure no sides get benefits and no sides get disadvantages
/r/MensRights27/09/19 11:54 PM

In theory it should be In practice it falls flat on its face, atleast in modern times
/r/MensRights26/09/19 10:25 AM

Imo feminism has lost itself due to the shitty people that have come from it If someone calls me sexist for saying i don't believe in feminism, they are probably assuming i instantly mean "all women are trash and im sexist" I believe in egalitarianism over Feminism Egalitarianism is believing everyone is equal and deserves equal rights/oppurtunity.
/r/MensRights26/09/19 10:20 AM

All we need to be "Equal" is just Equal Opportunity and no Bias Still it'll be hard to get there but im sure in the future we could
/r/MensRights24/09/19 09:01 AM

Whilst she has a point that people who have been abused don't want to come foward, wbos fault is that? Thats the fault imo of false and unjust allegations being thrown out in public spaces.
/r/MensRights24/09/19 08:50 AM

Whilst its okay to have an opinion, she sounds like shes manipulating her way out of hearing anything she doesn't like Its pretty sad honestly

Michael jackson will always be a weird case Im on no ones side since what described sounds like classic grooming and manipulation. And some supposable "evidence" But on the other side, the contridictary holes make things hard to understand.

Pretty much Theres also a power dynamic at play too If the man decides to step up to her he's lost at that point. The issue i have which they dont get, abuse of anyone doesn't have to just be "Extreme Physical Or sexual violence", its a whole range of things.
/r/MensRights23/09/19 02:16 PM

I mean they aren't exactly forcing them to do anything Seems like the kid wants to do that Unless we didn't read the same article or something
/r/MensRights23/09/19 01:50 PM

I know its an old article but good lord them comments make my brain cells die She should have a much more severe punishment than what she got.
/r/MensRights23/09/19 01:13 PM

The sad thing is, even if you defend yourself it usually ends up with the male getting done instead of the female Unless you have Solid Evidence anyway
/r/MensRights22/09/19 10:11 AM
25

Theres also a major double standard People say "Lol you could have defended yourself" But in the case of if its a woman doing it to a man, you defend yourself and somehow end up worse off because they can say you assaulted them
/r/MensRights20/09/19 03:34 PM
1

That sounds pretty shit, although it seems to be getting common here for Female criminals To make it worse, one of our most notirous pedophiles got off a life sentence after 10 years She was released a few days ago I don't want to sound sexist but here in England there is a heavy Bias when it comes to female prison times, if they even imprison them at all.
/r/MensRights20/09/19 03:03 PM
1

Having criticism isnt anti man or woman Everyone should have an equal sentence regardless of gender And people shifting blame never helps anyone. Its a real issue that needs to be spoken about and its best to look at all angles

It's sad I said to a friend of mine people would just laugh at me if i said i was the target of sexual harassment in the past just because of my "Imposing Height" I say that because it comes from my own experience, people don't care.

Its his money at the end of the day and he can do what he wants with it Cheating to me shows that a person is a liar and can't be trusted, i wouldnt trust a cheater unless they had a real excuse for it. I wouldn't give them special treatment just because they are my own child.

You don't exactly need a fancy tuition to get a decent job and education these days
/r/MensRights20/09/19 10:34 AM

I mean more in the sense of being an ass and cheating on someone Its his money after all and i wouldnt exactly be too happy if i found out my Daughter cheated on her boyfriend and expects nothing from it
/r/MensRights20/09/19 10:21 AM

To most of us, getting high classed paid tuition is a privilege and not a right To me, id imagine hes paying for her to get education, not to sleep around. Her actions have consequences and she needs to start becoming self reliant

Not to be too well rude, but alot of languages still don't have gender terms So yeah the idea of Gender labels is a language and social construct Although Sex isnt a construct and is a biological trait which has grounds in physical reality
/r/MensRights20/09/19 09:21 AM

Unfortunately this only is worsening in the uk, Looser sentences are being handed out and reoffending woman are getting less jail time

/r/MensRights17/09/19 04:39 PM

Pretty much People in them select areas are essentialy brainwashed and people who speak out are silenced Of course alot of western activists just like to ignore them and pretend that they aren't there.
/r/MensRights17/09/19 04:33 PM
2

Middle east is a broad term, but in some areas there unfortunately its part of their culture, although it doesn't make it right. Mainly places like islam, Afghan and Arabic areas The way woman in some places there are often treated like literal objects and forced into alot of things is pretty terrible. We shouldn't support it and we should tr to oppose it Its a place that ironically needs a female rights movement to get Woman and Men on an equal spot
/r/MensRights17/09/19 04:29 PM
3

Sadly true Most people don't have an issue with women working in engineering. But by lowering the standard, people will assume that the Female engineers are lower in "quality"
/r/MensRights17/09/19 02:04 PM

Remember, its okay to treat men like sexual objects! /s
/r/MensRights17/09/19 01:47 PM

From what i can tell they are raising them as gender neutral, instead of letting them make a choice when they get to an age of being able to comprehend it
/r/MensRights17/09/19 01:45 PM
3

Sadly im aware of that I find it ironically more sexist for both sides as it treats woman like they arent equal and for men increases their standards
/r/MensRights17/09/19 11:29 AM
3

I personally feel as if we shouldn't force people into job roles either Alot of companies actively want more woman in fields ,like in engineering, but at the end of they day if people don't want that role then thats upto them.
/r/MensRights17/09/19 11:22 AM
4

If people look at the statistics correctly (which many don't) the gap only exists based on averages More Men do higher paid degrees which overall comes out that the average for men is higher. Whilst gender discrimination does exist, you can still legally ruin a company for pay discrimination in most places.
/r/MensRights17/09/19 11:09 AM
10

That seems a bit insane People can conciously make the decision to identify as what they want, but forcing it onto your own children is a step too far
/r/MensRights17/09/19 11:01 AM

Whilst testostorone causes more aggresive behaviours this is a bit misleading On the contrary depression can manifest in miltiple ways, one of them being more aggresive and reckless behaviour.
/r/MensRights17/09/19 09:15 AM

Abuse is abuse and it doesn't make you a weaker person for it happening I think the aad reality is, Abuse in ot of places isn't believed when it happens to a male. Men can't get abused apparently
/r/MensRights15/09/19 10:51 AM

In my personal opinion Modern day Feninist activists often end up creating issues that arent there, Especially in the west Also In places where feminism is severely needed they are also ignored by the people who supposably are fighting for their equality too
/r/MensRights15/09/19 10:44 AM

It's unfortunate but not uncommon. It happens alot on more political centred subs lmao Im not afraid to admit im trans myself, although i don't want to have people like them ruin my own image
/r/MensRights09/09/19 03:44 PM
1

I love how they are doing this to help the issue of not enough females in engineering This doesn't help the probelm at all and only creates more discrimination overall Females on average just don't take engineering degrees as often as males. Its their own conscious choice to do that. We don't need to "push" them into the field if they don't want to do it.

The problem with platforms like these is that they can ruin people on the basis of a small accusations. Accusations should be taken seriously and investigated rather than circlejerked on twitter
/r/MensRights06/09/19 06:54 AM
2

Whilst they were good outcomes, the unfortunate reality is people are now believing any accusation without any evidence The main concern is, when people believe without evidence it can easily ruin peoples lives. Its hard to get evidence, but without it no one can ever be sure of the truth. We live in an age of Guilty until proven innocent. I feel as if i can no longer flat out believe accusations any more, especially with some more notable false ones A good example would be some of the things th…

Personally i think you are confusing Transgenders qith Transsexuals The Transgender community is the reason for the declassification, ironically enough many transgenders see transsexual as offensive and oppressing. Im not sure It sounds like you are in denial of the fact trans people exist and are real, many of which are probably more successful than either of us ever will be. And well, the condition isnt anything political, infact its been known since atleast the 1930s and studied. Unless of course our current SJWS transported to the 30s now? People seem to think its new for some ungodly reason, but unsurprisingly its not. And alot of them studies you reffer too are made by bigots and dumbasses. Not real …
/r/MensRights03/09/19 06:53 AM

Unless you have the actual medical knowledge to deny it, you cant. The condition in itself is real and medically recognized. At this point its down to your own ignorance and denial of actual fact. Some research even attempts to study brain patterns of trans patients. The notable thing that is found is that many trans paitients brain patterns are more similar to that of the sex they identity as, rather their birth sex Transabled however has no real evidence aside from just "I am transabled"

Expertise and sense to know that it is infact actually real and not a product of insanity Dysphoria is the ilness itself. However it doesnt make them people less valid, more infact makes them more valid since there is a real condition behind it. However if we look deeper there is a key difference between trandgender and transexual. One is based on biological sexes and the other, more "Gender Labels"

I did address that already If someone lies about it, the person who lied should take responsibility over it

There isn't because ots not true Men Express themselves differently. Maybe its the way society expects men to not show emotion, but that usually translates to not showing their emotional connection to their friends in traditional ways

Im aware it still has its original meaning However it is easy to use maliciously and the fact people seem to believe any accusation with the hashtag is an issue. Its Guilty until proven innocent now. The creator herself deems her own movement as unrecognisable and it has lost its way

Well theres alot more to it than you realise Transexualism or Transgenderism in itself isnt an illness Transexualism especially isnt a choice. People usually become transexual as they suffer from gender dysphoria. Considering its medically diagnosed, im sure doctors have more common sense than most conservatives do Which if you don't know, GD pretty damn serious if left unchecked and can cause a plethera of mental health issues and suicidal ideologies

Thats actually far from the truth The creator herself believes her own movement is now unrecognizable from what it once should have been She made it for anyone, but now its been warped into what we have today

Id say that responsibility is the fault of both parties If you have sex knowing theres no protection or contraceptives involved, thats on the both of you However if someone lies about contraception to impregnate or get pregnant then they should be responsible and the other party shouldn't be

Its sad too, the MeToo movements creator seems nice enough It was meant to be a platform for anyone to express experiences, instead it got turnt into somewhat of a weapon and now many boys are on edge and uneasy around woman

The way i see it noone should be free from discrimination If someone asks your height you should be able to ask a similar thing back, its a sad double standard

I always find it a bit silly Sure if someones blackout drunk then duh But if both parties are a bit drunk but are still fully aware of their actions and both consent why is it rape, and why is it usually the man who gets charged?

Isnt that ironically kinda discriminating against both men and woman For men it means they have to try harder to get a role For woman it's like saying "Try less because you are weak and unequal"

Personally i see toxic masculinity as a shitty excuse to just hate on men in most cases Yes there are some toxic males, although there are also some toxic females Doesn't mean everyone is

I personally believe you can be What feminism stood for was woman having equal rights as men, although in recent times certain people have ruined that And supporting mens rights means you also want to bring light to male issues which is respectable So yes you can do both Everybody should be equal and have an opportunity to be heard.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
