Can someone tell me how is it possible that many people still believe in the gender-based pay gap?
I was looking for a job last month and in every single job offer, they have asked - what are your salary expectations? I have talked with my friend, who is a recruiter for a different company and she said that budget for salaries is rather fluid usually, you can go up to 20% plus or minus from the average, depending on which amount you ask for.
Also how can anybody know that they earn less than their male counterpart when it is usually against the rules to talk about you salary to other colleagues?
What I get from this is that you're a crybaby that's bad at following rules, would I pay you more? no ofc.
