end all federal interstate economic regulation and labor law end all labor law labor law you dumb shit
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/18 05:07 AM
4

those are hypothetical single mothers you are talking about with hypothetical children, I am speaking of actual single mothers with actual children alive now Admit it: you want children to stave, that is the end result of what you want no matter how you slice it. Even if your plan is a 100% a success, it will result in an entire generation of current living children starving.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/18 05:03 AM
5

there are children who are the children of single mothers they rely on government assistance for food you want to take away government assistance without government assistance they will not have food without food, they will starve if you take away food from someone, you are responsible for their starvation IE: you want children to stave
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/18 04:57 AM
7

but you are the one who is starving children, you are the one who actively is taking away benefits to single moms: to stave their children

I think socialism is the only exception to this, it had the most success back in the day when people just handed out fliers and manifestos to you in person :(

Sure, those kind of ideas have been around - but not always that rigorously nor in such a framework nor this detailed. Are... are you shitting me? The entirely of traditional religions had entire codes and conducts about men and women ought to act and how, and the consequences, spiritual and actual, or not following them. There is a fucking reason why so many terps these days are folding back into religion, it holds all of these fucking ideas! stop being blind

'red pill' esque thoughts have always been around, in many senses, this kind of shit was the entire fucking reason feminism formed against in the first place my dad told me half of the shit you see on the red pill sub when I was 6, this isn't some hidden secrete information
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/18 11:19 PM

From a leftists perspective, socialism is the 'red pill.' Before it, they are simply lost in the merry-go-round of liberalism, either social or market. Things like increased income inequality, poverty, and even the rise of right-populism like what we saw with Trump are simply confounding to the eyes of a liberal, while socialism can explain all of these phenomena and why the current systems attempts to solve them fail so spectacularly. In many senses, socialism is kinda the 'economic' red pill, …

This isn't convincing me. This would me like if I took quotes from MGTOW about how women are literally poison and that's the essence of the red pill.

/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/18 01:48 PM

The eastern block was a good foundational model. I suggest you watch: Do Communists Have Better Sex? Long story short, in East Germany, women were quickly given rights after the war and were pushed into the work force. However, this didn't stress women out as maternal labor is a thing acknowledged under Marxist Feminism. So the government would basically have free child care services. A woman was free to fuck as many men as she wants, and still maintain her job and go to school. As this went on,…

A lot of the men here would blindly think they would be perfectly ok with women having constant sexual advances on them. That's nice in theory, until some random dude takes a picture of you across the street, or stops their car in the middle of your walk on the road to ask you out, or on the bus asks you to sit with them and cuddle. (these are all things that have happened to me, and I don't even look that much like a woman most of the time)

Recall however that this was at a time where it was also illegal to be gay in most western countries also, in America and the UK, gays were imprisoned and actually experienced medical experimentation on them, trying to cure them of gayness. Its likely that if those countries were to continue, they would have evolved on the gay issue. Cuba use to imprison gays, but since then Castro apologized for his actions, and said that he propped up a cult of toxic masculinity, and now its perfectly fine to …

while I might agree with that sentiment now, that was not true a year ago, and before when the movie was being produced you are correct however that the MRA movement is being absorbed by red pill shit, its actually one of the reasons I jumped from it a few years ago
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/18 03:54 PM

I still find it strange that this movie is called 'the red pill movie' that from everything I can glean from it, its just an MRA movie.

I am actually rather chill in day to day life. Its actually ironic, I value truth, and am generally happy, but my partner values happiness, and as a result is very unhappy because of what they view is the truth of the world.

And because of that, the rest of the world will always try to twist your mind, or twist your arm - to force you, by deception or by threat of imprisonment, to accomplish their goals instead of your own. Learn to recognize when this is happening, and take back control of your life so you can do the things that YOU want to do. And that's when I became a tranny.

There is an inherent human bias to allow the most radical voices to steer the conversation and because their voices are the loudest, they often give disproportional thought to their advice. Why hasn't socialist dominated discourse in the left then. For some strange reason people think 'sjws' are some fringe radicals, when if anything they are just very loud social liberals.

While I think she is right on many points, she comes at it from a flawed perspective, and as a result often slides into liberal individualism, which is a shame because a lot of her foundational criticisms of modern feminism as true, post-modernism fucking blows, but she neither agrees with the second wave either, note her criticism of the notion of patriarchy.

Sex work is inherently problematic work. Like any work under the capitalist system, it is exploitative, however, this exploitation is much worse because you yourself are the commodity. There is a reason prostitution was banned in the eastern block.

The problem is that a lot of the left has abandoned the class struggle, and as a result only seeing progress through the lens of neo-liberal activism. Pretty much the goal of a lot of leftists these days is to get more black / women / gay / trans / disabled ceos in power.

Selected quotes from the communist teacher I know who is married to a gender studies professor today: I can't stand liberals today and their identity politics, its really just post-modernism gone amuck. I actually agree with this post outside of the women part. Capitalism uses the labor of women also like this, though its even more fucked up because there isn't a financial return for them. Women do hours and hours of emotional and maternal labor every week, and they never get paid for it at all.

Third wave feminism is a liberal post-modern ideology that distracts from not only actual women's issues, but the class struggle. I subscribe to the theory that feminism as we currently know it is a CIA construction to weaken the radical left.

Offhand I know that Dr. Richard Wolff has sources on the economic inequalities of the familial incomes of white vs black people in America. His Patriarchal notions however are based on research from the 80s So I can only offer white privilege. Interested? Or should I not waste the next 45 minutes getting the proper sources?

The later. Sex isn't too important for me, I mainly want someone to cuddle when it gets dark. That said, being with an asexual... they are too filled with anxiety to even have a proper sexless relationship with.

4 years old Think about this: We now have statistics about school yard bullies. And you know what? The kids who bullied you, are probably better off than you are now. Why? Because they reason they bullied you was because they had some slight social edge, maybe they had more playtime friends, or their parents made them play T-ball, or they just came from a more well off family. They simply were kids who had a better grasp of social interaction at that age and could run in circles around you. Fast…

As I said, when I talk to non-binary people as another transgender person, they talk about their various gender dysphoria aspects, like maybe they hate having the rough skin of a man, or maybe they hate not being able to grow a beard. This is all usual transgender stuff, but its usually much lighter than the dysphoria that your usual transsexual feels. When they talk to the outside however, its easier to fall on gender stereotypes as cis people get that more, also if we talk about we hate our ha…

/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/18 12:57 AM

Being asked to call someone they pronouns isn't like pretending that they are an alien dragon, Jesus Christ. Its like how priests want to be called a special name they got ordained by, I think religion is a bunch of nonsense, but I would never go out of my way to find a priest's old name. There is a certain basic respect there when you talk to people by the names they go by.

Assuming we're on the same page for what we mean by "gender-neutral person" Nope, we are not. I'd be curious to other research for this as there can be a lot of areas where this isn't representative. Like for example if there is a subsection of women who are REALLY into this and will judge a 5/10 man as 10/10 if he makes a lot of money. Also, this is kind of just a mere statistical result, this doesn't say literally anything about the average woman you pull off the street outside of her higher potential to have this attraction.

The exact economic system of Star Trek is a tricky one to pin down. There is still a class system, but it is one of the military vs civilian, where the military holds all the power. Star Trek is a post-scarcity civilization also, as literally anything can be made by replicators. Are you fine with financially supporting these kids otherwise? If not, pretty much this is just an argument to make children starve, in which case. Fuck. You.

All theses employment self help things are really trying hard on the whole "pull yourself by your own bootstraps" narrative, so that instead of questioning the shitty situation you are in and challenging it, you simply think you can just try even harder and then, maybe someday, things will get better for you personally. It has the added bonus of people working harder for the same pay also, its a win-win for capitalists.

I think there's a definitive difference between thinking you are correct on an affirmative point for radicals, vs thinking you are correct in not having affirmative points for centrists. While radicals think we are right about statements in reality, centrists merely think they are right in contrast to opposing sides, not having affirmative beliefs themselves sometimes.

Not red pill, but evolutionary psychology has its place to answer, as best we can, problems with how humans developed over the course of our evolution both physically and psychologically. For example, without evolutionary psychology, we are pretty much left in the dark about the following question: why to female humans always have inflated boobs and instead of a month of heat, have periods. Out closest evolutionary cousins, Chimpanzees, have a period of heat instead of periods and their females …

I can't remember the name, but feminists do have a useful understanding of this trope, its like the 'ideal female proto-type narrative,' or something like that, women's role in media is limited, as its men who do the more interesting things, so then they are in their own stories, the stories are kind of bleh.

You are being hyperbolic. Lets compare the transgender disorder to something like being bipolar, which has similar issues like a high suicide rate and the need for mediation to function properly. Lots of people have bipolarism, and its not a thing that's shames, nor something to be inspired to be. I wouldn't have an issue if kids were read a book about how its ok to be bipolar.

I was made to take a small business management class in high school, I know very well how small businesses operate. However, it still is middle class people who have the credit to take out such loans at all. It is much harder for the lower class people to get that much in loans because of bad credit + they don't have a lot of disposable income like I said. It honestly sounds like a sob story of a couple of bougies who lost their proletarian oppressing establishment, and then were horribly cursed to do the kind of labor that the average person does, I have no sympathy.

the beauty of the capitalist system is that you are totally free> and encouraged to do things like that. if you think you know a better way of running a burger chain, then by all means you should go out and start doing it. you going to give me the money to start it? no? otherwise, shut the fuck up about your nonsense

Most of my labor I do goes directly in the pocket of my managers and the establishment. I work at Burger King part time, if I make 2 burgers, that's the cost of my work for that entire hour. I will easily make 40 burgers an hour. Where is that money going? In the hands of stock holders. The fucking 10 bucks off my paycheck in taxes is a joke in contrast.

Sexual Liberation in the western world is simply a creation of a post-birth control world where one misplaced fuck could ruin a woman's life forever before. Women's labor still isn't valued, and their lives and bodies are still commodities for capitalism to exploit. In contrast, in the eastern block women, before birth control, didn't have to worry about pregnancy, the state would take care of any child rearing costs and women's labor was highly valued. The eastern block ended up having twice as…

This comment seems unbecoming of a purple flair. Prettty much all "purple pillers" are just red pill lites. I mean, just look at this sub, do you REALLY see a parity between red pill and feminist talking points? Fuck no. Take out the dozens or two feminists and allies on this sub, and its indistinguishable from the main red pill sub. Even a lot of "blue pillers" here are merely naïve lib-fems, who are one step from being red pilled like what happened to Laci Green.

Red Pillers creates the Blue Pill. Feminism wouldn't even be a concept if it wasn't for enforced misogyny. But jumping to modern times, the concept of the "blue pill" is one from the red pill imagination.

The means of productions are still very much in the hands of the elite, the only thing that has changed is that they learned that if they don't have a welfare state that it hurts worker productivity and their profits / revolves from hungry people. The welfare state helps preserve capitalism by smoothing out the contradictions of capitalism. Early capitalism was arguably much more free and open than the world we live in now is, with nearly every aspects of live being commodified.

Under capitalism, sex cannot merely be sex. Capitalism loves to enclose to open commons, and that's exactly what we are seeing with sexual dynamics. No longer is sex merely an act with intimacy, but also a status symbol with value on you. This works in tandem with modern dating culture, because if everything is yipping at one another competitively sexually. This fetishism benefits corporations, most directly with dating app companies, but it spills over into other aspects of life as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/17 01:59 PM

This has more to do with sexual commodification that has happened under capitalism than anything. We didn't see this kind of behavior in the eastern block which had state atheism.

There are two senses of definition, the linguist sense, and the mathematical sense. Linguistically, a point is of course a unit with no length, however, mathematically this is circular, as length is defined in terms of points. However, the person, /u/abaxeron you are responding to is also wrong because points are not axioms, they are actually primitive mathematical notions with no precise d…

I don't think we've seen its peak yet. Most of the people who subscribe to it are rather young and haven't had real influence yet. I say in 5 years, expect it to be far more in the mainstream, and as a result diluted quite a bit. You know the red pill will be a dead man walking when you see a buzzfeed article talking about their rationalizations for fucking red pill men / red pill feminists. This will also be about the time when conservatism, at least in America, will be the firm establishment f…

the girls scouts on its inception was a rather sexist organization made to teach women 'how to be a wife,' and the hold overs of that are still present in how it is organized this doesn't have to be the natural order either, one can simply make a co-ed scouting space, the Soviets actually did this successfully with the Young Pioneers which still exists today

I feel like you want to solve this problem in an ideal world, when in actuality, such scouting organizations in America are an extreme rarity outside of girl, boy, and venture scouts (and that is limited to college students). The practical reality is that if you want to be part of a outdoorsman scout organization, the boy scouts are likely the only group within a reasonable range of you. I think this actually shows the flaw with a lot of conservative thinking now that I am thinking about it.

good, girl scouts blow the organizations usually don't last longer than elementary school, and what they usually do is arts and crafts and rarely go camping if a girl wants to be a real "outdoors-woman" girl scouts is a shitty option

You are correct in your understanding of infinite, but not of how exactly we can use it here. Consider that we have 1 minute of time to do this all in. Then we can fuck a woman after 30 second, then 15 second later another, and another 7.5 seconds later, ect. Basically we are constructing the summation 1/2+1/4+1/8+... this will converge to the desired 1 minute of infinite woman fucking. However, for most of this fucking, its literally instantaneous and probably not even worth it. The problem get…

Well each type of feminism has different strengths and pitfalls. For example, if she is a liberal feminist, she is a capitalist just like you, so you can't place her as a radical strawman. However, this means that she will likely have an insufficient explanation of a wage gap, and will likely fall into the Hilary Clinton mindset of "we need more women ceos." However, if you meet a Marxist feminist, she will likely have a very good hold of the wage gap and your usual responses to it will not be v…

Marxist Feminists agree with you on some of the economic realities of how the wage gap actually works, instead of liberal feminists who ignore those issues. Radical Feminists share many conservative views about sex, just through a different lens.

I think that most women want to be with or even fuck their gay best friends. Hanging around these women who have BGFs, they get awfully personal with them, even on a physical level. I think that is this was before the gay rights era, I think you would end up seeing most of such women marrying those BGFs. I think its actually a reason why gay people men exist in the population: they attract a certain kind of woman.

There is no "women are children" in the blue pill. Women experience damaging female socialization because of patriarchy that infantilizes them, and makes them struggle in being independent adults. I've actually seen this go all the way to a few radfems saying that they weren't raised with a proper framing of logic, and thus now-a-days put a high emphasis on it to break that socialization.

My politics of my teenage years was comflicted and contradictory. I thought of myself as a liberal, even though I liked Stalin and also thought of myself as a communist, but I wasn't actually a communist as I thought that the state should control corporations and control them, which isn't communism as all, its Corporatism... which is like the foundation of Fascism lol.

Well, do you think a worker in the Soviet Union was oppressed if they weren't paid the full value of their labour, and the state took some surplus value for its own uses? The Soviet Union is a complicated situation to say the least, I have seen some anarchists call it effectively "state capitalism." I don't think that workers' co-operatives or state ownership of the means of production will magically get rid of our inborn tribalism (and thus things like racism), the common religious idea of a ho…

By a marxist analysis of the economics of this, I would say that immediately one prostitution group would can more profit, and soon all others would follow to compete in the literal sexual marketplace. However, when everyone does it, the rate of profit will fall, ultimately devaluing prostitution to a lower level than it was before, and it will be sold as a cheaper commodity.

Ignoring the problem of allowing anyone to go into poverty as a "punishment" it has been statistically shown the poverty harm the well being of developing children, from their nutrition, to their psychology. I would never want to subject a child to that in some sort of twisted notion of punishment to the mother.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/17 01:25 AM

Often times a single person's income in the capitalist system isn't enough to support a child. Without the father's child support, its very possible many single mothers would just go into poverty.

There is no difference between a laborer born on one side of the border vs another, the only meaningful difference isn't between the nations, but between the classes who oppress all laborers in all nations. Unless you want to reach back into 100 years ago, you would be hard pressed to find Catholics going to a Muslim's back yard, setting up camp, and saying its there's now, and that's not an exaggeration of what the Jewish people are doing with the Arab settlements. Plus, the Israeli government actively financially supports this behavior. How is this anything else but small scale imperialism? consider that so did the callous companies during the industrial era that worked their workers to the bone in order to reap the highest profits (the owners/managers profited while men, women and children ended up with black lungs from the mines etc) Karl Marx actually does talk about the stresses of the bourgeois by the nature of their class also, its a perfectly fine to acknowledge the issues of the class which is doing the oppressing.

No, I remember reading an article by a linguist a few years ago who was picking about the centuries old notion that Finnish people are Mongolians, and the DNA evidence doesn't back it up, and the linguistic connection is only superficial, and they aren't as strongly connected as it appears. So basically, even by nationalist racist standard, they aren't Mongolians.

Cultural Marxism certainly exists theoretically, but it doesn't look theoretically anything like the meme, and in practice is much different. a good video on the subject summary: how the right uses the term cultural Marxism is either a literal nazi conspiracy or a complete misunderstanding of the Frankfurt School. The only real marxist 'cultural marxist' is Gramsci who wanted to create a model to distroy the capitalist cultural false consciousness to get a cultural class consciousness, however, …

Its more that your personal experience doesn't map to the world of mathematics in general, as you said, you are on an engineering track, not a lot of women there either. Having gone to actual mathematics conferences which aren't trying to cater to CS students, the difference is stark, its a really nice distribution of men and women. You just think there aren't a lot of women in math because of the cross pollination between CS and math, and that CS is a sausage fest. A lot of these women are aimi…

Actually the google manifesto makes 90% sense from a Marxist Feminist perspective, it really only looses that when it goes into how this inequality is innate to men and women, and how this is a problem of somehow the left wing, and not how this is emblematic of capitalism in general.

I've seen the answer in feminist circles that women are effectively socialized to think that such relationships are ok, and if they are having issues, than that's their fault and not the issue of the asshole guy. They are almost like trained since being a kid to think that its their job as women to support and aid people diligently, no matter what, against their own self interest. Liberal feminism just plays into the whole capitalist mindset that one can choose to be whatever they want, even if it makes no sense, and in tandem of course with such liberalism, being a fundamentally capitalist ideology, is the de-valuation of women's maternal labor, and instead focusing on effectively propaganda trying to convince women to aim to be ceos of companies and shit.

and hope to do for it, what was done to the Old Testament tribes You mean have a global super power come in, point at the Muslims, tell them to get the fuck out of the middle east, and disperse them throughout the world?

feminism is about the Patriarchy, the whole lib-fem thing about defining feminism as the 'belief that everyone is equal,' is a bunch of shit

the orgasms aren't connected to an erection
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/17 10:48 PM

I'm transgender, that's the how and why. Multiple orgasms are perfectly possible by males, the issue is that testosterone creates a chemical which prevents additional orgasms, if that is dismantled, multiple orgasms can occur.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/17 10:47 PM

You can have better organism if you drop the testosterone, then you as a male can have multiple orgasms. I can personally confirm this.

I feel like social media has exagerated the traits of what people already had. For those who had a narcissistic streak, not they are all into Instagram and shit, for those who don't, they receive absolutely no attention.

Well... yeah. At the end of the day feminism is about women not wanting to deal with bullshit, push even red pill women enough and they'll start saying some rather feministy things... wait, does that mean one can neg a woman into feminism 🤔

I just don't understand the mindset of a trans person. Its about body discomfort, my male body doesn't feel right to me. Its not something I can rationalize away. Imagine if you were forced to wear uncomfortable shoes all the time, maybe they are too small or stiff, whatever. Now, what you want to do is take off your shoes, think of what you would think of some little twerp telling you, "why do you want your shoes off? You should simply be happy with the shoes you have." That's effectively what …

/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/17 03:37 AM

They deny that transgenderism is a real thing, and try to pin it down on a variety of other factors. My lived experience of my own life begs to differ from the rationalizations they give for my gender dysphoria.

TRP is high logic TERFs are more logical than your average red piller. I can't tell you how many times I have seen a terp resort to relativism and make doubts on if you can make truth statements at all, or are some nonsense reason that falls flat when you apply to anything else. The worst TERFs do is poisoning the well and occasionally a continuum fallacy, they don't attempt to chop down the tide of discourse by questioning the existence of facts. Let me put it this way, at least twice on this s…

Decreasing population rarely happen Its new among humans, among animals in general however, boom and bust cycles are commonplace. Its a welcome development IMO, because before now people were exponentially increasing in population, and we can't sustain that.

no You have to understand the analogous structures of the penis and clitoris, in utero they were the same structure. So for even the most... liberal (?) female circumcision, they cut off the entire exterior clit. That part of the clit is the equivalent of someone cutting off the head of your penis, not just the foreskin. Now there are SOME male circumcisions which are on that level of body horror, but they are extremely uncommon.

This is actually a very valid point. On a material level, what is different from sex work and working at lets say a construction site? In both cases you and your labor is being used. The difference is really on the psychological level. One puts a lot more emotionally into sex than one does when they work at a construction site. People already feel a great amount of ambiguity and anguish from their regular jobs, and that's not a job which involves the emotional roller coaster that is sex. The onl…
