That’s not “your family” though. This is where you and me disagree. And I agree we shouldn’t center our lives around one person

I think murder even in that case is wrong and evil but when you’re married and that happens it’s not just a move on and enjoy your life scenario...you’re entire life is tied to a person who betrayed in one of the worst ways possible, and knowing how courts are he’ll prob be in the hook for child support anyways. That’s where the issue lies. It’s one of those fucked up scrnarios

Hmm... Why so? I’m pretty sure stomach fat is the last fat to go.

So let me ask you this.... If hubby finds out - snaps and murders her and the kids...is he evil?

Yeah no when I have a flat stomach I’m not overweight. I’ll listen to my doctor over you.

That’s me but with weed ages 18-24.... That’s right if I invested that $300 per month into an S&P500 instead it would be close to 75k already.

No BMI is an indicator but it is absolutely not a measure of health. And no BMI does not adjust for muscle mass. You can literally google: BMI is a poor measure of health .gov or .edu and find a bunch of research as to why it should only be used as a general idea. BMI only used height and weight. That’s it. When I go to my doctor they say I’m fine based on blood tests etc but that I’m pushing the limit and should start worrying about my weight. When I was 215 pounds at 6 foot with my current bui…

This happened at my first job ever. A couple of the supervisors and me would go hiking every single Saturday no matter what for a couple years. Eventually some of the others complained to HR that they weren’t invited. Thing is...when people asked we said be here at 6am so we can hit the trail by 7am....guess what...every single person said that was too early. So the complaint was that we should do a noon hike to accommodate other people on our days off...yeah we all laughed and said no way parki…

BMI is the worst way to look at someone’s weight. It doesn’t account for muscle mass. I was an athlete growing up and continued working out in my early 20s.... Yes look at auschwitz pictures and that’s me at 170-180.
/r/MGTOW27/02/18 05:53 PM

Yup I see some posts of dudes saying they’re healthy and normal at like 170 pounds at 6 foot.... The whole time I’m in awe because at 190 my mother was packing me weeks supply of food because “you’re on the verge of dying of starvation eat eat eat”

I’m 6 foot at 235...mainly eating junk when I’m bored. Thing is I used to be really active so when I was 200 pounds about 3 years ago I looked like I was straight out of auschwitz.
/r/MGTOW26/02/18 08:06 PM

I’m fat. I have access to good quality food but my problem has always been I eat when I’m bored and I also overeat. I always eat until I’m full instead of when I’m no longer hungry. 235 pounds at 6 foot. The best way to describe me is I don’t look skinny but I also don’t look fat.

Yes. I agree with personal freedom. You can make fun of virgins al you want, and they can make fun of you all they want too. And there’s nothing wrong with either.

This. I really don’t understand why some people are so anti-MGTOW... they quite literally are getting butthurt because someone else chooses to live their life differently without hurting others...
/r/MGTOW25/02/18 08:13 PM

My best guess is mgtow is primarily men who’ve had long term relationships with the handful of those who never had a relationship but are smart to learn from others or catch on from observing and then a smaller handful who are incel.

I wouldn’t really call it painful... More of a “yeah that’s right but I will choose to have more ‘faith’ in this world”

Nope. Not worth. Even though my sister quite literally is the traditional housewife does everything around the house...not worth it still.

So I’m Russian and the whole suana into cold water gig is popular...but then I hear doctors etc saying how it’s not good for you because of the heart risk... Can you elaborate please? Do I need to actually research this? Taking cold showers is also beneficial for you. Like straight up ice cold shower 10 mins or whatever. I couldn’t get to cold off the bat I had to do room temp water then toward the end make it a little bit colder. Then everyday gradually start colder.

“I would run away from the problem” found the mgtow!!! But in all honesty those are some of the truest words spoken. Everyone breaks down and runs away from problems. Some more than others. Thank you for that.

Mgtow aren’t woman hating xyz. When you read stuff that goes “wow he hates woman” it sounds that way. What I mean is if you just look at the words it absolutely does seem like woman hate. But you can’t ignore the context. It’s like let’s say a woman got beat the fuck up and raped by a man. And he got away with it. Now imagine her post “fucking men price of shit I hope they die aaaahhhh” she’s not hating men. It’s her justifiable anger and it’s how she’s coping with the moment. In those times of …

It’s ok. I know what it’s like. I had an MS13 girl who for some reason fell hard for me to the point she would stalk to me at my job, come in and ask for me and be all nice and giggly when I had days off. I never did anything she just thought I was really handsome and went hardcore predator mode when she got a job at the call center I worked at. Yup pretty much. There are religious folk who love those conversations though. For me it was explained as a metaphor that God will not genocide if there is even 1 righteous person among that group. Either way I don’t view the Bible as literal stories but more of an allegory. Most biblical scholars agree that the Bible isn’t all literal but the difference in beliefs comes from which is allegory which isn’t. Idk. This just made me think of who are we to talk morality. Like we see God killing a bun…

I had a different experience that made me want to respond to yours. My childhood friend was always fuck woman fuck bitches called every woman a whore. I had the same experience. I still believe in God but mainly because there were a few people including some in my family who loved to question things. One question that screwed everyone up was, “how do you know Satan didn’t write the Bible? I mean if I was Satan that’s exactly what I would do.”

I personally worked full time from 18 to my mid 20s and did 1-2 classes per quarter and took it slow. I just have 2 years left and can have enough in my bank to pay for it in cash. Plus no student loans on the prior 2 years.

One of my sisters has been a RN at the big hospital for a decade and she complains about no men in nursing. She says how stupid it is to have 2-3 woman try to lift some fat patient and move them when a man can do it themselves. “Just hire male nurses damnit, idc if they are paid more, they’re making our jobs more difficult with that equality bs”

Idk...all the big companies like amazon, Microsoft, Expedia, Boeing don’t even look at your resume if don’t have a degree. Also i think engineering is one of the few you need a degree for regardless of how well you’ve learned it yourself. I think a college degree is bullsgit but it’s the bullshit that opens doors.

My problem with trades is how damaging it is to your body. Actually I quit my residential electrician job because I was being paid 10/hr and had to drive 1-2 hours each way in my own car (unpaid) this made my hourly wage drop. Otherwise the job itself wasn’t bad. And after becoming a journeyman the pay was 22/hr. No thanks. I make that without a college degree in an office.

I personally do a bank. The general rule is to keep anywhere from 6 months to 2 years of living expenses in a checking account (or savings) that you can access the same day. Some people put it in a safe or something. It’s really called an emergency fund because unexpected shit happens. But it’s in your best interest to save up a fund that will cover like a year of expenses if you had 0 income.
/r/MGTOW16/02/18 05:47 PM

Saving is super important. And finding out ways t generate income yourself is also just as important. I’m about to lose my daytime job because we lost a client who was 70% of our income. I’m actually looking forward to it. I have about 3 years of living expenses saved just for this occasion and on top of that I can really break even by the income I generate myself through eBay reselling. Strongly encourage to look into financial independence sub

So I started going to the gym at 6am (wake up at 5:30) and I’ve been going 5x a week. I’ve had crazy on and off stints but so far this ha seven the most successful. /r/MGTOW16/02/18 04:54 PM

So what do you think so far of MGTOW? Like aside from that bullshit rage where we diss and talk shit about woman. Like the actual reasoning behind it when you see the more serious threads or comments.
/r/MGTOW15/02/18 06:26 PM
2

It’s funny because exactly the same issues we talk about on mgtow is what my sister brought up regarding why men suck. In her mind AWALT applies to both men and women.
/r/MGTOW15/02/18 06:24 PM
12

Sometimes the raw way is best. Especially with family. But then again I’ve never sugar coated stuff since I was a kid so my family is aware. 17 on a school night ...“Son it’s 10pm where are you going?” To smoke some weed. “Whaaat!!!???” To smoke some weed I’ll be back by midnight. Only about a decade later I found out my parents have always liked that about me. That I wouldn’t pretend or lie.

My father tells me differently. He tells me most men go through this phase of never wanting to be married and then they get whipped and do. Being married brings in a bunch of other problems. The Bible says if you can live without committing sexual sins then don’t get married to avoid a life full of misery.
/r/MGTOW15/02/18 06:09 PM

I mean you’re right. But that “honeymoon phase” is a real thing too and it does always fade.
/r/MGTOW15/02/18 04:45 PM
3

Lol I’ll give this a look. It’s just a weird a concept because I choose to wake up at 5am every day and go to the gym. I struggled and forced myself hard a lot to do this. That’s why it’s hard to say “oh that was done because of my hormones” or whatever because I know how much I had to force myself to do it. It’s also a dangerous concept because it means removing personal accountability.
/r/MGTOW15/02/18 01:57 PM

Fucking godlike creating bullshit out of thin air. Inventing their own problems. Defying all reason because emotions. I guess...men can do that too. Shit. Woman can get ovarian cancer. Men can’t. Checkmate atheists.
/r/MGTOW15/02/18 01:19 AM

By just “loving and caring” yeah no everyone loves and cares for different things. That’s why conflicts happen and also why life is beautiful because we’re all different. Except women. AWALT.

I think to put it simply the whole we don’t have free will because molecules is the how it works, but we do have free will because we have a choice in how we conduct our lives is the why. Wether we have free will or not, it’s still done through chemical reactions in our body. I don’t buy the argument of no free will. It sounds like a lame excuse to not take accountability for the shitty things we do in life.
/r/MGTOW15/02/18 12:14 AM
0

No I just don’t buy it. This is like saying the guy who just shot up a school in Florida didn’t choose to do that. It was chosen for him by his chemicals. I think all of you who are arguing that there’s no such thing as free will are half wrong. There are things that we simply cannot control, and then there are things that we absolutely do have a choice on. Your argument is basically because we weren’t chosen to be born then everything else we can choose is just false because the life itself was…

I respect your view but it amuses and saddens me that people believe they don’t act on their own volition and free will. To be more specific we humans have and do not have free will. Obviously being born, having to eat, sleep, our biological urges aren’t free will because they were kindve chosen or instilled in us. But now when you go past biological urges like...morality, work ethic, idk...learning a language, getting a degree, going to work etc that’s all based on free will. Maybe you can argu…

I’m just grateful I have family who are true to themselves and put family over anyone else. But let’s be honest, if we saw a woman or man or child or animal getting violently abused by anyone...almost everyone in this sub would do something about.

We’ve bounced back between 2 separate comments and basically your problem is with it Being considered a sport. So you would be right. A sport is something involving physical exertion which something like a piano or competitive games do not do. What would call it instead of esports? Ecompetitions? I mean you’re right but it doesn’t have the same ring to it as esports. Kind of like football is not football should be....arm ball or whatever.
/r/MGTOW09/02/18 11:00 PM

Ahh so you’re problem is the “sport.” Aspect. Kindve like competitive piano or what have you is not a sport. Got it.
/r/MGTOW09/02/18 09:42 PM

I’ve played competitive sports and esports is not a shocker to me. There are people who are crazy good at competitive games that have millions of players. Idk if you just don’t like the word “sport” but a lot of video games have very vibrant competitive scenes. Dota2, LoL, CSGO, SC2 all have world championships that net the winning player(s) like a million usd in cash. It’s really not a joke.
/r/MGTOW09/02/18 09:40 PM
2

I agree with you. Equal opportunity but not equal outcome. There’s a reason men and woman compete in different leagues...esports is one of those where woman actually can compete with a man. But that’s a man.

Any S&P500 mutual fund or ETF are the actual investments (stocks) Roth IRA or traditional Roth are the account types like a checking/savings account. Use vanguard, fidelity or Charles scwab. I use vanguard personally. They also have target date funds that are known as the “lazy way” but either way it’s good. Also watch some Dave Ramsey just go iTunes his name and click on some 3-5 min videos that are close to topics you want Also the financial independence sub is a very good one.

A 4K monitor? I’ve been meaning to get one they’re like 400 bucks on amazon. Should I? I’ve been using the same 720p monitor for maybe 4 years now and it has a thin red line in the middle. And a 2nd monitor is some cheap 70 dollar one I got on eBay

I am most definitely a mothers boy. But I’m also a huge introvert/social outcast by choice. It’s really that no feminist woman would ever even be half the woman my mother was. My dad really lucked out. But now thinking of it, my mom very rarely asks me to do anything. I will for sure support my parents when they cannot anymore. I will be more than glad to especially with what they’ve done for me.

So I’m on the bottom end of income earners but I have a 60% savings rate. I don’t have a mortgage, or any loans period. That’s what’s funny about the whole ordeal. I recently talked with my brother about finances and investing. He’s 40 I’m 26. So tbh this whole rape thing has me furious because it devalues what happened to actual victims of rape. I mean think of how such a low blow that actually is. Imagine you were overpowered and tied down by another person and have them fuck you until your vagina bleeds. Then a person who wanted sex but regretted it later claims they experienced the same trauma...

I’m not an atheist but I’m not religious. I’ve gone and practiced several of them. I just realized religion is 1000s of years of teaching human nature. You can pretty much find a way to handle a human interaction based on any of the stories in any religion. Most are pretty similar in the point they’re trying to make. Religion is like the first books that told humans an underlying value system. And they survive for 1000s of years. They are not perfect, but definitely a foundation.

Focusing on mental health and physical health. Even going back to focusing on spirituality. That realization occurred to me at an early age with friends. Basically we spend all this time together, bond over struggles and then overnight it’s as if you don’t know me. I also once thought sex is the most important thing. And then I had sex...hundreds of times with 2 long term girlfriends. I am Russian. Here’s my advice with Russian. Learn the alphabet. Russian is extremely easy to read and write because it’s phonetic. If you learn the sound of the letters and just sound them out you are pretty much reading the words correctly every time. The issue comes with memorizing what the words mean and the different verb tenses. But you’re going to have an English accent and no one will care that you say “I do rides motorcycles on off days” because we’ll all understand. Even the people who…

But when she tells me if her bf is with her ONLY because of her looks and I reply “well are you with him because he’s the CEO and owner of a 50 mil a year company? Yeah she shuts up. I remember when she was in her late 20s saying things like “I’ll settle with any guy idc if he doesn’t have a lot of money just as long as he doesn’t treat me like crap” and then smiling with a little twinkle in her ey…

I put every single penny I spend in an excel sheet and break it down into categories. I file them away yearly. For 2017 I spent $2.99 on movies. For 2016 if I recall correctly was around $200... I bet you can guess which year I had a girlfriend and which year I started my mgtow journey.

Depends. I think 41 states you can secretly record without any consequence. I’m part of the 9 that you cannot. A loophole for a brick and mortar store for example is to have clear visible signs stating “this property is under surveillance” that’s how stores are able to get away with it. Ever go to a Wal Mart or something and see those signs? Usually on every light post in the parking lot? That’s why. This obviously changes when you’re in a meeting at Starbucks or some conference room in which ca…

Yes and no. So retirement accounts like 401ks exist because the US government wants to encourage people to invest in their future. The accounts that specifically cannot be taken out until retirement have tax benefits that far outweigh using a regular money market account. If I were you I would speak to a professional but my general idea has been to do both. Max out both 401k (IRA and then Traditional) then the remainder you put into a money market fund.

Highly achievable. That’s basically any STEM degree or a Nurse or something similar in the medical field. If any of you want that similar pay you gotta go to school for that and take it seriously.
/r/MGTOW03/01/18 12:31 AM

Oh I have one. I’ve been maxing it every year. Make sure you do a Roth IRA because you get tax free interest on it. Then you max out your traditional up to a company match. Then the rest you open up a non-retirement fund. Please keep in mind that retirement funds cannot be cashed out until the federal retirement age without a big penalty. The full retirement age right now it’s 67. I advise you to listen to Dave Ramsey. You may not like his style or his religious views he sometimes throws in, but…

May I ask how much? I’m also 26 right and with similar numbers as OP and my goal is also 45. I’m thinking anywhere from 1-2 mil is fine to then live off interest. I don’t need to pay rent. But I will have to take care of my parents. I don’t need more than 10-15k a year for everything. That number fluctuates based on how much mindless spending I do. I’m assuming for every 500k invested is about 40k a year on returns. I know that medical debt is what drains retirement.

I went MGTOW in late November of 2016. I stopped doing all drugs and focused on being frugal. I was able to save 50% of my income not including the huge returns on my mutual funds and even bigger returns on crypto. I also started 2 companies and failed one, the other netted me some decent profit. Regardless of what you think politically, if you’re in the USA starting a business under Trump is the perfect time.

Am I the only one here who thinks that a good thing? There’s a lot of people on this planet. All these scientists are looking so hard for a solution to food production, energy, climate change, etc. well the #1 solution is for a huge chunk of the population to disappear. Genocide, population control, negative birth rates doesn’t matter. But the solution seems clear to me. Less people is a good thing. The method to achieve it will determine our morality.

The truth is no one can prove God and no one can disprove God. Comparing it to a leprechaun or fairy gets the point across I guess, but it is a dishonest or manipulative analogy. The climate change debate is not if it’s happening but how much are humans contributing vs the natural cycle of the Earth and how can we feasibly control it.

Honestly you’re just arguing for the sake of arguing and you’re completely bypassing what I’m saying. You’re close minded in trying to prove that somehow I’m close minded. All I’m saying is...until there is new evidence, there’s no point in debating something with the exact same evidence that’s been debunked hundreds if not thousands of times by hundreds if not thousands of different scientists. It’s rather ironic really. The honest debate on climate change isn’t if it’s real or not....it’s how much are humans actually contributing to it and feasible ways to solve it. Also, I’m not a Christian but from what I understand the first and only 2 laws God gave humans before humans fucked up were: do not eat from the forbidden fruit (knowledge of Good and Evil) and to take care of the Earth.

I think we’ve been thought as men that there’s a fine line between taking care of oneself and being feminist. Or rather what “taking care of” implies. Working out and eating healthy vs tanning and shaving yourself. Both are “taking care of yourself” but one is purely for health and the other is to appeal to the opposite sex, or same sex if you will.

There's actually a huge difference in the thought process of poor people, middle class, and wealthy people. Lots of research done on the attitudes people have on money too. Very basic: Poor people spend money on things they don't need even when they need that money for necessities. Such as alcohol, ciggarettes, getting nails done, etc instead of food. Middle class people tend to spend their money on depreciating things, and even on expensive toys that they really aren't into. Vacations, cars, mo…

To be honest, even being with really attractive women gets old quick. It's a nice little confidence booster and a show and tell thing to your peer group...but that's just being shallow. Most woman just bring misery to your life if you strip out the sex part of it, and remember sex is like less than 1% of what occurs in a relationship. The mind-fucked part is that she believes I treated her wrong... The truth is the actual money part isn't the issue, but the thing it signifies. You know when someone doesn't pay you back for like...$100...you don't get mad at the money, you get mad that this person valued $100 more than the relationship. That's basically how it was for me.

What you are describing is a defense mechanism that's not so commonly used. Please note that every human does this and it's not a bad thing. But specifically the one where you use negativity to fuel something productive or positive is a very healthy way to redirect negative thoughts and emotions. I actually go to a psychologist so I have some insight on this. He also brought up how if you think of anything in the past and if you have an emotional response to that, then you are not over that thin…

I think it's the same in poorer countries too, just on a different level. Like women will still have the same AWALT nature, but just a milder version of it. It's almost like western culture makes their poisonous leaves bloom, whereas in poorer countries they just don't have the opportunity to do so.

You're not wrong...but I also don't see it as a bad thing.

My experience is with both men and women who act like this, but A LOT more women. Like for every 10 women, there is probably 1 maybe 2 men who acted like bullies or backstabbers. Most those men came from single moms if that has anything to say to you.

I've actually gone to several gay clubs and your experience is spot on with mine. Gay men hit on me, I tell them sorry I'm straight but I don't mind dancing along side you, etc. Gay men start telling other men who are eyeing me that I'm straight and then 10 mins later they find the straight or bi girls and direct them towards me? When I've gone to straight nightclubs...it's just horrible. Bitchy women, you ask for a dance they say, "ew no." Then you reply, "shut the fuck up bitch and dance." And…

That's actually one of the worst types of hypocrisy for me personally. But I'm not just talking about women using men for violence...But really it's woman shaming men into not doing the "dirty" work. What I mean by dirty work is something to do with risking reputation. Like men are supposed to take the role of a "bad cop" whereas women tend to take the role of a "good cop."

It's quite hard for me to understand this because of my mother. My mother grew up dirt poor in Soviet Russia and she is the opposite of lazy and weak. She literally wakes up at 6 a.m every morning (since I can remember) to make the best damn breakfast for the entire family, then she spends all day taking care of her grandchildren while their parents are at work. Then she cleans up and does housework until she goes to bed around 10 p.m. She raised a family of 5, had food always ready, she still s…

Yup it's no joke. The idea is physical pain is served as a scapegoat for emotional pain. Self harm is temporary, but damn worth it. But you know what's even better? Being in control of your own mind. It's the idea that a man is greater when he conquers himself than he who conquers a city. It's the idea that no one actually makes us angry or sad or happy, it's really how we choose to respond to the situation. We really can only control ourselves, and with that comes the fact that we define our se…

Yes it's naive and yes it's stupid. I actually spoke with my psychologist about this who is an 80 year old man and has been in the field for over 50 years. He said contrary to popular belief, suicide is not selfish. It's actually one of the ultimate forms of a selfless act. You can look at it from a defeatist attitude, but the goal is to channel that same energy into something positive/productive. Suicide takes a lot of willpower, and if applied to something else it brings exponential results.

I understand it's not a joke. The problem with AWALT for me is kind of those super simple but profound truths in life. It's so simple that it just can't be true...

I've actually extended this idea to everyone. I don't trust people with anything I'm not afraid to lose. It's unfortunate but I've been burned by both sexes.

Thank you for your guidance. I actually did skip most of the female nature part of The Red Pill and mainly focused on the topics about self improvement. However, the parts I did read about the nature of women (in addition to the 150 ish Sandman videos I've listened to) are already things I've realized from personal experience. I think the hardest part for me is not the idea that the perfect woman doesn't exist...the difficult part is seeing a really attractive woman and avoiding temptation. When…

Hey man, I just wanted to let you know that I feel like an ungrateful person because my experience happened in my late teens to early twenties. I feel like I have no right to speak on this when there are men who have lived almost their entire lives only to be betrayed. Thank you for being part of this community.

You know...I know you probably meant it as a joke but she truly did like black men. It's funny looking back on it the times she went to hang out with her "brothers" which were popular black men who I knew were man whores. The most difficult part about MGTOW is the piece: AWALT. I mean...it's been obvious to me for quite some time but I just didn't want to believe it. I couldn't stomach it. It's as if I was betraying a part of me by accepting the fact that all women are really in it for themselve…

Most definitely. The money part doesn't even matter. The 5 years of wasted time and effort is what stings, but it could've been 10+ years...

That's actually what has always boggled me. The people who are the best to work with are straight talk, no bullshit. They are called grumpy or something negative because they don't put up with bullshit and almost always call someone out on it.
