I'd like to present a different argument. Whilst I'm against circumcision, there are religions and beliefs which impose circumcision. Banning circumcision could compromise the integrity of the procedure via a lack of health and hygiene, not to mention unqualified "doctors". This is because parents will still get their boys circumcised... there is a demand and therefore there will be a supply mechanism. Much like how making abortions illegal jeopardises women's health.

I can only answer from my opinion on it. I'm assuming it's really painful and it can give rise to complications, if not done properly. I'm against it. The only two reasons I'd accept would be a medical condition or very bad hygiene standards in the environment you're going to raise your son. Personally I believe circumcision was indoctrinated through religion as it's a lot simpler to explain to uneducated masses that some "god" will smite them rather than teach them medicine... We're a lot more educated now as a planet and it's time to review a lot of these rules.
