SRS is actually trying to argue that this guy wasn't falsely accused because he wasn't convicted. You don't have to be convicted to be falsely ACCUSED. If he had been convicted he would have been falsely accused and convicted. Such human filth in SRS.

Your post history reveals that you are a troll so no one should interact with you. However, I will, if only to prove you wrong. Men can be raped and sexually assaulted by women. It happens, just as sabresfan4994 pointed out. Even the most ardent feminist will agree what women can & do rape men.

At this point she's about a month late on delivering her first video? I wonder how long until her supporters even start to turn against her?

As I've pointed out in other discussions, most of us have, in fact, been raped... According to most feminists, if you have sex with a person who has had a few drinks (i.e. drunk) they are unable to consent (no matter how enthusiastically they may actually be consenting) so you are committing rape. The other side of this is that if someone has sex with you while you are drunk then you have been raped. Of course, for most feminists this inability to consent only applies to women, not men.

You forgot my favorite part of rape propaganda & hypocrisy: All radical feminists believe that any woman who has had a few drinks is unable to give consent. So, anytime you have sex with a woman who might be the slightest bit drunk you are actually raping her. However, when the following exchange happens you see the hypocrisy: ME: "I've been drunk several times and had sex with sober women. Was I raped?" Radical feminist: "NO" Because they all believe that either men can't be raped or that men a…

The consent issue illustrates one of the biggest hypocrisies of modern, radical feminism because all radical feminists believe that any woman who has had a few drinks is unable to give consent. So, anytime you have sex with a woman you might be the slightest bit drunk you are actually raping her. At this exact moment I am arguing with someone who has accused me of being a serial rapist (because I've had consensual drunk sex) but denies that I was raped, even though I'm using their own logic to prove that I was.
/r/MensRights07/12/12 09:33 PM
2

You are 100% right. People (men & women) talk about how no one takes rape seriously yet at the same time everyone is shouting "rape" and trying to make consensual sex into rape to fit their causes. By identifying myself as the feminist definition of a rape victim I'm hoping I can get people to think twice about these ridiculous laws and situations.
/r/MensRights07/12/12 09:04 PM
1

Two more things: 1) I bet this gets downvoted to oblivion by feminists 2) I'm sort of sad for people who believe that you can't consent while drunk because they will never get to know the joy that is "fresh from the bar, sloppy, drunk sex"
/r/MensRights07/12/12 08:47 PM
3

Upon further reflection I think that feminists either: Actually don't think that men can be raped by women and/or they don't care or They know that "if you're drunk you can't consent" is bullshit and only use it when it fits their argument. I'm not sure which one is better or worse.

A certain Gawker gaming website posted a rather one-sided, praise filled article about Sarkeesian today. I won't link to the article but I will copy/paste the text of the email I sent to the author and his editor: *As someone interested in Kickstarter and the game industry I read with interest your article about Anita Sarkeesian and while I found it informative I do think that you left out some facts that are very important to the story, while continuing to show her detractors in a very negative…

Article about the movement in Sweden to "ban" gender in preschools and place "gender watchdogs" in all schools so that kids can be whoever they want. What? Seriously, this can't be real can it?

I can believe that.
/r/MensRights06/12/12 02:06 PM

I think that people are slowly starting to see the truth about Anita in /r/games. There seems to be a lot less downvoting there now and more people just saying "don't talk about her and she will fade into obscurity"
/r/MensRights06/12/12 06:08 AM

Someone in the main r/gaming thread tried to say that she used the extra money to hire assistants. My response was "I wonder which friends she "hired?"" Kickstarter just seems like the ultimate scam site, especially if you get enough people to give you small donations. No one is really going to pursue it if you don't deliver.
/r/MensRights06/12/12 05:44 AM
1

That's certainly one side of the argument. :) The other side is that you make the punishment so severe and so horrible that no one in their right mind would ever think of making a false accusation again.

But that doesn't change the fact that you can essentially still steal money via Kickstarter, right? They don't hold the money in trust, provide oversight, or try to collect from you if you don't meet your benchmarks. I could spend $100 creating a mock-up and a couple of hours coming up with a "business plan," submit it to kickstarter, and then take the money in run, right? There's no guarantee that for your money you'll ever get a finished product.

I wonder if she knows who Roberta Williams is? I wonder if she knows that Roberta was responsible for creating a whole genre of games and was head of one of the most influential and creative development houses? If you seriously want to address "sexism" in gaming have Roberta Williams (or even Jade Raymond) do it. They at least have experience in the industry.

Ok, think about this. She raised $160k. She mentions that she has 300 games. Even at $60 per game that's only $18K She already has hosting for her blog and since she already records videos she already has camera equipment but lets throw her a bone here and say she buys a nice camera and upgrades her hosting. We'll say another $10K for all of that. That's $28K. Where's the rest of the money going? Her salary? Seems like one hell of a scam to me.

The only thing more insufferable than a radical feminist is a white knight. They all fit the same mold - pasty, overweight, nerdy, young, white dudes who fawn over feminists, gay, and trans people without any pause to reflect on logic. They blindly follow whatever the feminist says because they secretly hope it's going to get them laid. They have no self respect or backbone of their own.

/r/MensRights05/12/12 10:05 PM

That I know of, Kickstarter doesn't really have rules about that. It's sort of "donate at your own risk." I seem to remember a couple of kickstarter projects that turned into vaporware and they did nothing. Granted, that was awhile ago. Things may have changed by now.

I think the biggest issue with feminism today is that they believe in the myth of the patriarchy. None of them are willing to move on from the dogma of the 50s and 60s when men did dominate society. It's simply not that way anymore. I'd have a lot more respect for feminists if they would just admit to the myth of the patriarchy.
/r/MensRights05/12/12 09:36 PM

Pretty much always true. This just isn't the case with women, it's the case with any group who thinks that they are being oppressed. At one point they probably were the "victim" but when that changes they sill claim victimhood because that's the only thing they know. Sadly we have feminists from the 60s (when women were "victims" on occasion) teaching feminists of today to be the victim as well.

I really can't wait for this to explode in her face. Aside from trying to make a profit from being a "victim" she's the face of everything that is wrong with kickstarter. You give someone money with no guarantee that they are actually going to produce what they say they are going to produce. Two other points: 1) I've done some game reviewing in the past for amateur (i.e. sites run by one or two people) game sites. I thought Susan Rice was an incompetent joke before this but this article only reinforces that opinion. That's all I'll say on the subject of politics since I know we have members from all political parties here. On the subject of the article, it's simple fear mongering that continues to paint all men as rapists, which is what feminist extreminsts want people to think. In this case the fear is based on the image of a bunch of sex-crazed men running around raping anything and everything. Even if …

I think you've just described 90% of every bad romantic comedy I've ever seen. :) I'm always surprised that feminists don't discourage these movies more than they do because the movies certainly don't glorify the type of "strong" woman that most feminists want glorified. As I said in the other thread that posts the whole video, the video does nothing but help our cause. Every single protester comes across as batshit crazy and possibly violent while the people going to the speech are calm and well spoken. I do agree that this woman looks like she'd be capable of killing or at least injuring someone. No, there probably wouldn't be any legal penalty, unless someone saw the crazy woman doing this to the car. You could report the incident to the police and they might arrest her but I doubt that she'd ever be convicted. She could argue that she told any number of people about the cheating and that any one of them could have done it. From a defense perspective her taking men home on a regular basis would establish a pattern of behavior and lead to reasonable doubt that a rape occurred. In a situation where the alleged victim didn't report the rape right away there may be no physical evidence left. It's then the alleged victims word against the defendant's word and reasonable doubt that a crime was actually committed becomes very important. You're exactly right about the laws existing so that prosecutors can be lazy. They are just one more example of how in the US justice system you are really guilty until proven innocent these days, regardless of the crime. Also, there's a distinct difference between "victim blaming" and presenting evidence relevant to the case. Saying "She's a slut, she asked for it" is victim blaming. Saying "She has a history of slutty behavior and random one night stands, maybe there's reasonable doubt that th…

Polygraph? No, that would be insulting to the alleged victim. I've had crazy women on twitter tell me that women who are raped shouldn't have to "endure" a rape kit. It's at that point that I give up any hope of logic.

I think maybe what you were getting at is that at the start of the story he mentioned that he pursued her and even though he initially wanted the sex he's later defining it as "statutory rape." The old adage being "you can't rape the willing." It wasn't "rape" at the time but for legal purposes and for purposes of the custody hearing it is "rape."

I agree and my scenario, thought up while getting coffee this morning & thinking about that poor guy in VA that was falsely convicted of rape, might not be the best example. I guess my thought is that, in many cases, rape accusations turn into a he said/she said case. For whatever reason the alleged victim didn't report the rape right away, there was no rape kit done, etc... At that point there may not be physical evidence of rape and prior history DOES become a factor. We all know that the pros…

The idea behind this type of punishment is to deter people from making false accusations in the first place. We need to push for this type of punishment for false accusers. The sad part about this is that his false accuser will get a slap on the wrist punishment compared to what this poor man had to endure. Aside from a complete and total public shaming her punishment should be as follows: reimburse her victim for all of his legal fees he hasn't been able to work for 4.5 years. She should have to reimburse him for all lost wages She should have to reimburse the state for all of it's legal costs in prosecuting an innocent man She should have to reimburse the state f…

I respect your opinion 100% and certainly respect your consistency. I don't think legally surrender of parenthood (and financial support) automatically dooms a child to a decent life. I think it just puts the responsibility on the mother as the primary caregiver and equals the playing field a bit for men.
/r/MensRights28/11/12 01:18 AM

I think it's perfectly OK to abandon a child before it is born if you've made it very clear to the mother that you don't want the child.

/r/MensRights27/11/12 04:05 PM

I think you're probably right and obviously full residential custody is the best possible situation. My fundamental problem with child support is while it's "child" support there is no real way of tracking that the money is actually spent on the child. I also think that you're right about child support laws changing in the near future
/r/MensRights27/11/12 03:43 PM
4

Ideally both but I'd assume that full residential custody isn't always practical due to geographic constraints and/or education concerns (which are important). Equal power to decide how a child is raised should be a given in custody cases but I realize that sadly, it often isn't. Point being, if both parents have equal custody the child will get everything he/she needs to thrive without the need for child support.

This woman sounds like a nutcase and a truly horrible person. As such, feminists will flock around her and make her into a hero. Sadly, what you experienced isn't all that uncommon. Whenever I post anything on twitter about Men's Rights I always get one or two people who's only response is "you're a rapist," "you're a rape apologist," or "men's right's supports rape." At first I tried to calmly and logically reason with these people (men & women) to explain what men's rights are really about but…
/r/MensRights27/11/12 02:54 PM

In my mind, child support is never needed. If you give both parents equal custody rights the child should get everything they need. The problem is that men often get shafted with regards to custody and still need to pay child support.

I'm sorry but once again, since you aren't using a "real" account I refuse to have any sort of discussion with you. I find it disrespectful that you won't use your real account. I'm going to assume that steadfast refusal probably means that you are, in fact, some plant or troll and I will not engage in this line of discussion any further.

To be perfectly honest, before today I had not really given the idea of circumcision much thought. I am circumcised so to me it was always "normal." However, upon giving it some thought, you're right, it's a barbaric practice and I wish that I had had some say in the matter. That being said, I'm not going to hate my parents because they had me circumcised nor am I going to go through the rest of my life wishing things were different or feeling somewhat less whole. intensely_human is right - if I…

That's a great idea in theory but in practice it's kind of a buzzkill for the relationship. :) When I start to seriously date someone I make it very clear that I don't want children under any circumstances. It's only fair that the woman know pretty much right from the start. I make sure that I am responsible for my own birth control, which, because I'm a man, means buying and always using condoms, even if the woman is on the pill
/r/MensRights27/11/12 07:29 AM

I would assume that a lot of opposition to the idea would come in the form of "best interest of the child" and I guess my question to you is, Why should I put the interest of a child I didn't want above my own? Why should I be forced to sacrifice my life and my financial stability to support a child I didn't want in the first place? In the long run that child's life isn't going to be any better or worse because someone who isn't an active part of their life sends their mother a check every month…

I think ultimately it should be the woman's right to decide if she wants to have the child or not. However, in cases where the father doesn't want the child the woman should realize that she's going to be 100% financially responsible for the kid.
/r/MensRights27/11/12 07:18 AM

I agree with the need for more reasonable custody/child support laws. However, what about men who don't want custody or to have anything to do with the kid? Why should they be forced to financially support a child they would have aborted if given the choice?

I've never come out as pro-circumcision. I've said very bluntly that it's not really an issue that I have a great amount of interest in. However, I do understand and sympathize with people who are anti-circumcision. Being circumcised has never really been an issue for me because I've never known any different. However, when put in a position to think about the issue I DO wish that I had had a choice in the matter. I wish that my parents hadn't made that decision for me. As for AvfM, I'm not acti…

The same could be said about women and sex. However, if a woman is sexually irresponsible she can have an abortion to rid herself of the problem. A man should have the same opportunity. Why should anyone, male or female, be burdened with a child they don't want?

Ahh... I'm a guy who is circumcised. I'm fine with my personal situation and in general I don't get involved in the circumcision debate. I'm neither pro- or anti- and I've heard both sides of the argument. My horror at this was that a baby had to die, not only because of the circumcision but because of the horrible conditions it was performed under. For those that are wondering, if I had a child I wouldn't want them to be circumcised.
/r/MensRights26/11/12 11:14 PM

Fucking savages. I'm not even talking about the circumcision aspect of this either. I'm fine with the practice of circumcision. I'm talking about the lack of sterile environment, proper tools and a medical professional treating the baby. I mean, what the fuck? It's your fucking baby. It's fine if you want to have it circumcised but at least let a doctor (or hell, even a nurse or nurses assistant would be better than a midwife) do it.

Unplanned pregnancies can be prevented in theory, but there's always the irresponsibility factor which lies on both men and women. Not to mention people of both genders lying or sabotaging protection. But I agree LPS would vastly improve the lives of children. However, in order for to to be truly fair to the child we need to give single parents a safety net so that they don't have to rely on child support from the other parent who at this point can just be considered a sperm or egg donor. I'm ta…

/r/MensRights26/11/12 08:48 PM

Exactly. However, current laws take away the majority of choice from fathers in this situation. People can argue that both sexes have the power to control pregnancy through birth control and they do to a certain extent. However, women have (and should have) ultimate and final control. We just need to change the law so that men have a bit more control when it comes to their own personal and monetary freedoms. Do people really think that making a man financially responsible for a child he doesn't …

Part of this problem relates to how the justice system treats those accused. In this country you really are "guilty until proven innocent." They set high bails and have no problem plastering your mugshot all over the place. People see this and think "GUILTY." This is why I think there should be harsh penalties for false accusers in rape & domestic situations. Since it's often a he said/she said situation you better be damn sure before you accuse anyone. Domestic Violence & Rape prevention advoca…

This is a horrible story and I feel bad for you. It never should have happened. I was the victim of emotional abuse by my soon to be ex-wife. After we separated she did everything in her power to threaten me and label me a stalker. She even had me arrested on false charges. Even now, after I've been found innocent and cleared of all charges people don't believe me. They take her side. Laws surrounding child support are just insane. Forget the passport stuff. Look at the line that says "you might go to jail." So, you're a man or woman who is behind on their child support. The court obviously wants you to pay that child support so what do they do? They send you to jail. Because we all know that you can make tons of money to pay child support IN JAIL. :) You can't earn money while you are there and most likely you're going to lose any job that you had before you went to jail. No doubt there are plenty of bad doctors out there that bully their patients into (or out of) procedures. I went through this a few years ago with a friend of mine who was having gall bladder issues. Doctors at the hospital wouldn't remove it because she wasn't exhibiting "classic" symptoms so they subjected her to test after test. They eventually released her saying the problem was "gas." A week later she found a doc to remove her gall bladder and hasn't had any issues since then. The issue her…

This has to be a joke. I'm sure that some people are mistreated while giving birth just like some people are mistreated in the hospital when they are sick. However, as other Redditors have said, giving birth is not generally a nice experience and the doctor (male or female) is going to do whatever needed to deliver the baby. I was always under the impression that during childbirth medical care of the baby came first, followed by medical care/treatment of the mother. Maybe this isn't how it shoul…

Getting this back on track, a couple of points: 1) She had a peace bond against the guy, which I assume is the Canadian version of a restraining order. In many states in the USA you can have someone arrested for violating a restraining order without actually involving the cops. You can go down to the courthouse, fill out a complaint, and a judge (or magistrate, etc...) will sign an arrest warrant. I'm assuming the same is probably true in Canada. This practice is horrible because it allows peopl…

I'll also state that in addition to having to deal with my crazy ex, I now have to deal with unbalanced people on twitter. Every single time I tweet something about #mensrights I get called a rapist. I don't know that I'd go that far but I do think you're right in some respect. I think it's less about the actual act these days and more about power. Either the power the rapist has over the victim or the power someone has over someone they have accused of rape.

I think it's because women have been taught that rape is the absolute worst thing that can happen to them so they have a violent, emotional response to anything having to do with rape. Their response to anything "rape" is almost Pavlovian. I think women have also (wrongly) been taught that when they say they were raped (and/or a victim of domestic abuse) that they should be automatically believed. They feel like just the act of accusing someone should be enough to prove guilt. How dare someone q…

My thought was that if 12 out of 46 led to an arrest then the other 34 cases were either false reporting or there wasn't enough evidence to support the charge of rape. That's logical and it doesn't mean that rape didn't happen just that there wasn't evidence. This graphic is trying to make it seem like there's some huge conspiracy making sure that only a small % of reported rapes actually lead to conviction, which isn't the case. By looking at the chart you'd think that the police didn't take ra…

I've dated many a "feminist" and I've supported them 100% but they were logical. The type of behavior you see on twitter and tumblr happens when you get a bunch of like minded people all validating each other's crazy ideas. Any and all counter arguments are immediately dismissed and so the crazy just grows and grows. Example: Nazi's in Germany, pre-WWII

Total dick move. I'm not sure I'd do it again but who knows. It's not like women don't do it all the time too. I find it funny that a lot of the people who have been attacking me on twitter actively state that they "hate men" either on their profiles or in other tweets. Even funnier is the fact that everyone seems to be OK with that. I guess it's OK to hate men.

I think it depends on the situation. If a person is attacked on the street by a stranger it's pretty obvious. In other situations it's really one person's word against another's which is scary as hell, both in cases where rape actually happened and when it didn't

It's the internet equivalent of giving a protester the finger as you drive by them in your car. What I don't like is when people keep insisting that my words label me as a rapist.
