So not a shave but a really short buzz? Because wearing a ring around your head will never look good.

Read the title, went straight to amazon and ordered it. I've read your first two books in a span of days and they were an eye opener for me. You may "just be connecting dots" but those dots have helped thousands of us. Thank you for your work.

I recently read that shaving your head is the "you can't fire me, I quit!" response to balding.

I think the only women suitable for wing women are the women who already like you but don't really care at all about relationships. If she enjoys dancing with you, touching you, giving you small kisses and just loves teasing and having fun with you. It will automatically signal to every other girl around that you are in demand. If she enjoys pretending to be jealous or even warns other girls not to get involved with you before disappearing for a couple of minutes - perfect.

Same applies to beauty standards imho. Women blame men for stickfigure anorexic catwalk models but take a look at the porn actresses. You have the petite (but not starved) girls and then you have the sheer amounts of curvy women with huge breasts and mile wide asses. Porn sells only what the people want, it was molded by human preference, not the other way around.

my life is pretty boring right now, I have no problem admitting that and I know that I will have to work on that. I recently moved cities, new job, no social circle right now. So most of what I do is work, lift, sleep and work on personal side projects (sort of like a monk mode by happenstance). I don't plan to continue this though. Yeah lifting makes me feel good, no shame in that.

At 6'4'' I've lost about 175 lbs over the last 2 years. When I started out I did so to look better. By the end of it my only goal was to feel better. When I was done I was a skinnyfat lump of loose skin. I've started lifting to look better and had my first removal of excess skin, also to look better. Now I lift to feel better and I am planning the second (and last) operation for excess skin removal to feel better. Lift for yourself. I don't lift to become a strong confident men. Instead I alread…

Made that mistake last week. I tried to shift the focus on her and came off as a dull guy who has nothing to offer. She grew cold and gave me the "friend of mine is just coming into town tonight"-excuse. Completely my fault. I am reading Models right now and should have taken the advice about being vulnerable more seriously. Every failure is a learning experience.

I don't take your post as an insult, not at all. My post is also not asking how to steal the GF of a friend. I am telling you my train of thought because it makes me highly uncomfortable that I am even thinking that way. I literally say in the post that I do not intend to take any action in that regard. I should have been more clear and ask: What is the root of this thought and how can I get past it? I seriously do not want to ruin a friendship for a girl.

I quit weed as it makes me dull and lazy. I did my fair share of LSD in the past and it helped me tremendously with personal development. These days I play with microdosing (taking so little that you are not actually tripping - only minor changes occur like a higher mental focus). I am still very much addicted to porn/jerking off and I am still looking for a way to quit.

men shit-testing me was the thing I found most weird. I knew that I had to expect it with women but the first time it happened with men I got seriously confused. It makes sense if you think about it. If men are seeing you as potential AMOG then they will obviously test if you have the balls to lead the pack. Can't blame them for acting in the best interest of the group.

I like how your list goes on and on about being super useful survival stuff and then out of nowhere comes "play an instrument" and then goes right back into survival mode. Also: preppers often don't seem to keen on physical fitness, your body is your first line of defense and being in superb shape is going to increase your chances of survival tremendously.

I know that what you are going through is tough and at times it might feel "unfair" or "dis-proportionally harder" than what your peers have to get trough. This might sound like shitty advice, but no matter how you feel about it, it won't change the situation. Imagine being stuck in a traffic jam that is moving slowly ahead. It does not matter whether you are yelling at the steering wheel or roll down the window and listen to some music. The traffic jam will move the same speed either way. I rea…

Except for lifting I don't have any real hobbies right now, maybe that's the problem. I don't actually do anything just for the sake of having fun with it, everything always serves the purpose of giving me an advantage of sorts. I guess it time to turn the focus on that part of my life. Thanks.

Seeing how much shit is build with motion sensors in them (like those bath towel dispensers that always don't react) I wouldn't be all that comfortable claiming that the machine was broken or if I am just to "stupid" to use it.
/r/TheRedPill24/06/17 06:20 AM

Don't judge a book by its cover/title is also what applies to the situation of OP. He only saw that she was hot and didn't know how to operate a broken water cooler and decided that she is stupid.

/r/TheRedPill23/06/17 06:30 PM

yep, pretty much the definition of the anger phase. You can tell when you read stuff like "all girls are sluts / dumb / egoistic / devoid of feelings / greedy / etc". I read Models by Mark Manson and he has some pages dedicated to getting over this kind of thinking about women. The book really helped me at that stage. It is also not really about picking up women, but the "Models" refers to being a male role model (because society is currently lacking male role models).
/r/TheRedPill23/06/17 05:30 PM

The reason for the confirmation bias is that TRP tends to attract men who are above average intelligence to genius level intelligence. you've got to be kidding right? At least write that this is your opinion and don't write it out as some pseudo fact... A more detailed explanation to help him understand why he's come to this thought or feeling so that he is able to better himself. Well my explanation was that he was actively searching for females to be dumb so he can put them down and feel less …

I would lie if I said that I never spend waaaay to much time standing around a machine not knowing how to operate it... maybe I am just hot.
/r/TheRedPill22/06/17 05:31 PM

Confirmation bias is when you have an opinion on something (like hot girls must be stupid - because most likely you are bitter how easy they have it in the sexual market place). Next whenever you see a something happening that confirms your opinion you mark it down as "I knew it" but every time something happens that disproves your opinion you don't really notice because the back of your mind is searching to confirm your original opinion, not question it. So basically you walk through life only …
/r/TheRedPill22/06/17 05:30 PM

I've seen plenty of men just as stupid. Your story seems like confirmation bias to me, you might be projecting this onto her to have an excuse for not being into her. Just remember all those times when you did something stupid (like trying to push a door that clearly said pull). Get over it and focus on yourself instead of others.

None of us are making it out alive. I've been thinking this exact thought exactly. I started talking more to older people and asked them what advice they would give me. Seriously do this. Every old person around you used to be just like you at some point, take advantage of that and ask them shit. Especially the men that grew up before feminism.
/r/askTRP16/05/17 05:53 PM

hamstering usually refers to the rationalizing of information that women practice in order to paint themselves as victims or any process of trying to excuse shitty behavior on her part (usually by DEER - defer, excuse, evade, rationalize). By mental illness I don't mean genetic illnesses like schizophrenia. Depression, borderline personality disorder, bipolar etc can be triggered by circumstances. A person can also have a latent tendency for mental illness but under stable life conditions the si…

Single mothers usually have a harder life than maried ones, besides I think they are often looked down on in Asian cultures, which surely adds to the stress. It doesn't matter why they have a higher rate of metal illnesses (hamstering), the fact remains that they do.
/r/askTRP11/05/17 07:45 PM

Single motherhood is actually more likely to turn you into a psycho. Single [...] mothers are not man-haters by definitions, nor are they sluts. no one said that this was their definition, but it sure was what you've heard.

most are unless she husband actually was a great guy and died leaving her alone. In most cases she fucked around and got pregnant, the guy ditched because this was not part of the deal. The girls hits the wall at full speed once she realizes that most guys won't touch her after having the child (no one wants to be responsible for child support). The funny thing is that this gets upvoted but if I took the same pose with the same written sign I wouldn't receive >5k upvotes. The very fact that her opinion is "worth more" because she is female is the idiotic part. Don't get me wrong, I like seeing a woman interested in mens right, but the expected reddit reaction is part of the problem.
/r/MensRights08/05/17 03:45 PM

Very interesting idea. Sometimes it seems that trp tries to paint women as intentionally evil when all they are doing is behaving the nature programmed them to behave. Comparing the loss in interest women experience after ensuring commitment is very fitting to the loss of interest men experience after ensuring "procreation". Thank you for this idea.

Being a bad boy has nothing to do with being bad. Most men these days have been trained from day one to do just about anything for a women without question in hopes of getting some. A man that treat women like a human and not some deity is in contrast bad. All the guys that behave and wag their tails for the slightest piece of female attention are the good boys (say it out loud in the condescending tone that you say it about dogs: "good boy"). I am very fond of Tomassis (I think it was him) idea in his first book. It went along the lines of TRP (or the manosphere in general if you will) being the meta masculinity with thousands of men forming a hive mind the world has never seen before. For the last 50 years, there was a vacuum when it came to teaching boys how to be men. Gathering of men where shamed for being sexist and all male conversation was infiltrated and forced to be female friendly under the doctrine of equality. With the ri…

Since boys are no longer taught how to become man, being a man is a quality in high demand these days. People think that TRP is the masculine version of alchemy by promising to turn worthless beta ore combined with words and wisdom into precious alpha metal. Since people forgot that all man used to be boys and had to become man at some point, TRP is viewed as some sort of dark magic for showing the way. Especially women "feel cheated" because they just want a man to be a man and they don't want …
/r/TheRedPill17/04/17 02:58 PM

Women don't want to know how a man becomes a man, she just wants him to be one. Women think that we either are men or not, the fact that you have to become a man escapes their understanding. This is because a women is a women simply because she was born female, that is all she had to do to become a women, so in her mind it is the same for men. So turning a beta into an alpha is not an option for her, she does not know how to "make a man" out of a beta. The base requirement for women is that they…

I have three siblings (1 brother, 2 sisters). Having sisters makes it easier to take girls of the pedestal, you grew up with girls around and you just know that they are human like you and me. It also teaches you to hold frame better against females. I had a very hard time with my older sister accepting me when I grew up. She tried everything available to humans to shit test the ever living crap out of my frame when I was in my early to mid twenties. Only lately she accepted the fact that I am a…

shave your head, grow a beard, bulk up and then cut to get a sixpack. Blaming your baldness also seems like an easy way out because it is out of your control. Adopt a stoic view of life (you can't change that you are bald, so stop worrying about it and focus that time and energy into improving your life otherwise). As for the hobbies, I don't pursue any specific thing. So there is nothing that you do? This is worse than being bald, instead of focusing on your head you should focus what is inside…

My style of manliness is not discipline and self control. to each their own, but people will only see you as childish. Dominance in my vocabulary is being unashamedly selfish and yelling at people if they don't do what I want. It is the opposite of self controll, it is uncontrolled anger if things don't go my way. Don't do the same thing he did just to show him how shitty it is. You want self respect? Then you should be the bigger man. Think of the kind of man you want to be and act accordingly. I am sot of working on a society model pet theory. The train of thought is that humanity lived as a tribe for thousands of years and evolved to behave like a tribe. Due to big cities and the internet we are currently moving back to tribal times. When you think of very ancient "tribes" like groups of monkeys, you see that they have ONE lead male that fertilizes ALL females while the other male monkeys take care of hunting, gathering, protection etc. I think that our current society is "evolving" …

On TRP we focus on traditional male values in a world that promotes that men should be aimless, lazy, dumb and unhealthy. The same society promotes that women should be aimless, lazy, dumb, superficial, greedy and promiscuous. As a man who aims for those traditional values, I look for a women that represents the female counterpart of those values. Your typical club slut usually has no value beyond being pump and dump.

After losing 175 lbs, I've had my excess skin removal surgery (lower body lift all around tummy tuck + thigh lift) this week. They removed almost 4,5 lbs of skin tissue and I am currently learning to walk again.

I just read meditations and I find most of it very insightful and relevant to life as a rp man. Some things I don't see eye to eye with. That doesn't mater though, just like women there is no ONE philosophy out there.

I think on some level "fake it till you make it" still applies. Everything in life takes practice, even confidence. You don't wake up one morning and bam you are now confident! Being confident also means testing thing. This testing phase is what you would call fake confidence. Just like a person who is learning to walk, swim, drive, sing, draw is "fake" walking, swimming, driving, singing and drawing. It seems "fake" because they literally don't know what they are doing... yet. Don't focus on wh…

Obviously the shorts weren't meant for business. Regarding the pants material you already gave yourself the answer. You may have fewer options but this does not hinder your ability to "dress well". You would also have to wash all your clothes no matter the style so that is an empty statement.
/r/TheRedPill11/03/17 08:15 AM

yeah, I guess you are right. There is no way to dress decently in warm climates... Get yourself some lose swim trunks and a tapout t-shirt and you should be golden...

they are often hyped on minimalist blogs and the likes. They are trying to paint the picture that dressing in jeans and gray tees is saving you the time you need to be successful and or do outstanding things. This obviously ignores the fact that wool trousers and white dress shirt would be just as easy and look way better.

My guess is that the guy hates you because you are taking all the right steps that he didn't take. He wants you to give up to confirm that him giving up was the right thing to do. If you don't give up it indirectly shows that he made a wrong choice and people don't like cognitive dissonance. I am not entirely sure why the chick hates you, might be an outlet for her to feel superior. Might be some kind of shit test to see if you are really that tough and determined. Doesn't matter, set boundaries…

This right here. 1 on 1 fighting is a high stress situation. Over time your mind will become tough and stress resistant. The result is an amazing level of confidence in day to day life because your mind is used to way higher levels of stress. And once you get into a stressful situation (like talking up that hb10 or giving a presentation in front of company board of managers) your mind will be used to stressful situations and you will be able to keep a level headed mind and not have your percepti…

check out the subreddit r/thexeffect if you want to change habits. It helped me with various small habit changes. Each individual habit might be small on its own (eat right, work out, read for 30 minutes, meditate, talk to a stranger, no porn, brush teeth, etc....) but the sum of them will slowly turn you into this unbelievable man. Personal advice: try to start by doing two cards at the same time. That might sound easy going but if you keep that system up it will result in about 14 habit change…

If you eat fast food for every meal, you gain weight. I am not saying that fast food is healthy, but thinking that you gain weight by eating it all the time is a subjective reality. The objective reality is that eating at a caloric surplus (no matter the food) will make you gain weight. if you jump out of an airplane without a parachute, you die. That highly depends on the position of the airplane. Hitting the ground with high speed and no security measures kills you, not jumping off of anything…

not gonna happen. you won't change the system, just recognize the direction that society is taking and take advantage of it. There is nothing else you can do.

might be the stereotypes about lesbians and gays taking the other genders attributes influencing that perception.
/r/TheRedPill27/02/17 07:55 PM

It would make sense for women to get all their emotional needs met by a women and then have a chad for ovulation time ready to take care of business.
/r/TheRedPill27/02/17 06:17 PM

Interesting take. How come lesbians are often so butch on the other hand? For lipstick lesbians the ratio seems the other way around.

good question. I think every compliment after that first one should be earned by her. but by opening your entire interaction by stating that you think she is hot makes sure that your intentions are crystal clear. There is no way for her to pretend that you just wanted to be friends or casually chat with her. She knows that you think she is hot and she knows what this entire interaction is about.

Yes, they will! Any woman whose body doesn't ressemble chewbacca is going to expect a dinner date or she won't bother with the guy, not unless he looks like one of the jonas brothers in shirtless display. no they don't. Why do you think so many girls fall for unsuccessful musicians, artists or small drug dealers with no prospects? Women might care about money on some level, but beyond that they are looking for fun. Many women lead a boring basic bitch life and being treated to a dull conversatio…

Thanks, but I think I fall short of pook who wrote about this phenomenon at length in the book of pook. I highly recommend reading it. The general idea is that the focus in dating shouldn't be on the girl, but the focus needs to be on yourself. You should strive for the life that you want and that you enjoy having. Girls will notice when a guy is happy and satisfied with his life, if he is comfortable with who he is and if he enjoys doing the things he does. When you bend over backwards for a da…

Because in society men are judged by what they do, women are judged by who they are women are judged by who they are what they look like
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/16 06:14 AM

Because you have the advantage of not being judged 100 % on your looks. It does not matter how skilled, funny, nice, loving, whatever a women is, she will always be judged on what she looks like more than anything else. Men are also judged by looks but on a completely different level. Men are most defined by who they are and what they do. Both genders are biologically programmed into this behavior. Men are looking for a vessel that will give them good offspring (waist/hip ratio and physical fitn…

Well the problem is that you are stuck in the "ritual mindset". Most girls won't expect a dinner date right off the bat or anything even close to that. A stroll in the part is free and nice, going to a farmers market and picking up some stuff and later cooking it together is fun and engaging. Dates don't have to be fancy candlelight dinners. Think about it this way: if you don't like going on fancy dinner dates and paying for them, why are you even going in the first place? Because the date is i…

It's the sheer pain that comes from it that makes me puss out. at least you are upfront about being a pussy. My advice is keep the shower head moving, don't just stand there and let it blast the same chest spot for 2 minutes, move it all over your body.

Every single morning and I didn't touch the warm valve for 5 weeks. Seriously, every single morning I take a short breath and then turn on the water. I huff for about 30 seconds and then it gets better. When I get out of the shower I am so incredibly awake and I feel like a god damn warrior. Somehow that feeling kinda stays with me for the rest of the day. This is highly anecdotal but I noticed a drop in stress, higher willpower and it becomes easier to just break out of your comfort zone.

The only reason I needed was to train myself to get out of my comfort zone. Every single morning I am reminded of the fact that I have the willpower and discipline it takes to not chicken out.

Maybe I'm just a pussy! Germany at - 6 °C reporting in. Started taking cold showers 5 weeks ago and have not skipped a single day. Can confirm that you are indeed a pussy. Cold showers will not kill you, they will never be fully comfortable and they will always take willpower to push through. For those reasons the cold shower is amazing. They will wash that pussy out of you, one shower at a time.

gay men dating is basically playing poker with open hands compared to the heterosexual dating word where everyone is wearing sunglasses and scarfs as not to show their hand.

It actually proves nothing of that sort. The BP indoctrination could very much happen (I am not saying or trying to prove that it does, just defusing invalid arguments), it only takes affect with heterosexual boys because the homosexual ones don't care for girls so the indoctrination never shows. Gay men actually care very much for what women think and love being praised by them as well.

they never had to be taught. Unlike a heterosexual male who wants a female and can not understand what a female thinks and wants because he himself is male, he has to rely on outside information of what a female wants -> hence the indoctrination. The homosexual on the other end literally is attracted to himself. He knows exactly what he is looking for in a mate and he knows what his mate is looking for in him because they are one and the same (don't twist my words here, of course there is still …
