Women are just a luxury good, basically a plus to your life. They can join you on your way.

I remember that I will always be me. I will never be completely sure of myself no matter how much success I accrue. I have also stopped using trp success for validation (beta). By all means build yourself up, but don't let your ego cloud or fool you into believing that you will become an idealised version of yourself. When I am alone, I am still myself.

I feel like I am crumbling under the pressure to perform. How do you guys unwind and let go?

You've worked hard to get here , you put the hours in the gym , you took spent the money to further improve how you look , and your worked hard to get the job you have . The only person you are performing for or should have been performing for is you . Your perspective is ass backwards what the fuck do the women and people around you offer to you to make your life better? You're doing fantastic . I personally live by the mantra work hard play hard. When I am at work making money and focusing on my craft that's what I'm doing to the best of my ability, at home or when I'm having fun I am enjoying myself as much as I can in a safe and healthy manner. I think you owe yourself that you've worked hard , you've achieved a lot , enjoy it. I used to be significantly overweight too and I'm sure much like me you used to dream of being in the shoes you are now so instead of being scared of losing the work you've already done , take a deep breath , look up at the sky, look at all the tinder connections I'm sure your getting or random " heys" women send to your phone . Relish the mountain of recruiters who " just want a moment of your time" . You are doing great , you're not a fake , and you deserve the opportunity to enjoy this reality of a life you have created.

How can I find some kind of balance in my life?

It sounds like you are very work focused but what do your hobbies look like? Extra curricular activities can be huge for providing some additional satisfaction to your life. Not just having fun but having something you invest time and attention to outside of work ? Martial arts? Rock climbing ? public speaking , any interests of that ilk you've been curious about exploring ?

Do you have any advice for me OP?

I feel like we are very similar but I'm a year behind you. Mid 20's, 6'2", 330 lbs down from 450, just graduated in engineering. I'm terrified of my future and what will come of it. The skin surgery, the weight loss, my career, learning to interact with women after a lifetime of them ignoring me and having zero experience.

Some days I just want to die, but I've recognized this is my way of wanting to be a quitter and not deal with my problems. I've got a lot of work ahead of me. What advice or actions would you if told yourself when you were my weight?
