My boyfriend has said I’m hands down the most attractive woman he’s dated. I think it’s kind of annoying. I am conventionally pretty - but I would way rather be the smartest girl he’s dated, or the woman he’s been the most in love with. How do I tell him this? I’m so not impressed by that complement.

I am a therapist for my profession lol. I stray so far away from men with significant mental issues. I can’t do that on and off work.

YES! I typically earn as much or a little less than the lawyers I’ve dated. Doctors earn more than me but it’s just dumb. I would never treat someone like shit just because I’m in high demand (and I am, professionally and personally). I treat people the way the treat me.

Never will I ever rely on a man financially. Even if I end up marrying wealthy I’m keeping my career no matter what. You can’t ever trust them fully. Even if they’re HVM, they could change. My career won’t leave 😶

So crazy. Thank you for sharing this. Really opened my eyes. Definitely a complex. I’m a therapist and do very well for myself financially. Don’t need these hoodlums lol 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Amazing. Will definitely be using this to filter. I think I’ve been too general when asking about profession.

I’ve noticed this too - except the forties part. I’m 26- so I’ve been dating 28-35 years old. It’s been such shit 😂💁🏻‍♀️

I appreciate it. I never want to generalize but I’ve noticed a pattern in these two professions. I don’t think any of the ones I’ve dated, except one (I’ve gone out with four), were in big law. They all seemed “entitled” to sex and didn’t want relationships, I bounced. I guess that’s the pattern I noticed.

It’s weird because the profession from my angle at least seems to require some type of sympathy and emotional intelligence (but they’ve got NONE of that). You’re dealing with sick, dying people. It’s hard work. It’s a lot of school. Do you feel most do it for the prestige of it? Money? Status? It’s just shocking to me. I expected that doctors would be better than lawyers (because do the type of work they do) but it’s almost been worse 😂

Literally had the same exact experience with most recent guy (doc) I dated. I wonder what it is.... they feel entitled to sex. Maybe it’s pickmes who reinforce this behavior. It’s sad they’re incapable of emotion or something.

So good to know I’m not alone in feeling the same way! It’s interesting that it’s all to impress others and status/ money. Makes me realize maybe why the god complex is there 🙄

It’s literally only been the docs and lawyers I’ve dated that feel SO entitled just because of their careers. It’s so surprising.... like, your career doesn’t make you a worthwhile man. I need someone who has got their shit together as much as I do - but 🤷🏻‍♀️

Dated a Stanford lawyer who told me divorce is wrong 🙏🏼 gotta run from these dudes 🏃‍♀️

I think it’s their god complex and that other women bend over for them and give in. I’ve never even had a one night stand lol. So they’re surprised when I tell them to fuck off.

He was sweet - I had to cut it off because I wasn’t super attracted and he just had some “off” qualities, not LVM, just not my type. Him and the most recent guy I’ve dated were WORLDS apart tho. It’s such a god complex. Literally - all the docs and lawyers just wanted to sleep with me 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s crazy because I’m low key so much happier in my little studio, with my bomb ass career, and awesome friends. If someone isn’t adding to that then there is LITERALLY no point. I’ve become a queen at cutting men off.

Idk. I get approached in public, or called out in public pretty frequently (once a week or every other week). Usually it’s a creepy LVM who just wants to sleep with me 😂🙏🏼🤷🏻‍♀️ also - I dress very conservative.

This is why I’m not even scared to be single forever. Men drain the shit out of you and you get NOTHING in return. Unless I find someone that is VERY HV, no. I’m so content on my own 💁🏻‍♀️

It’s creepy to me when guys are this picky. I’m an Italian immigrant living in America. A lot of guys find that attractive for some reason. I had a guy who was really obsessive tell me he always wanted to marry a European girl. Run. Where you’re from should NOT matter.

I don’t think it has anything to do with me. I’ve cut so many guys off. Most recently yesterday 😂

Because men suck at vulnerability and prefer not to be in relationships lol. I follow FDS to a T. I’ve been in three long term relationships all over three years - but, I recently started using OLD as a new single woman. It’s a mess out there 😂✌️

Idk. I am an Italian immigrant in the USA. Italian men appear very romantic but Italy is a country with HIGH domestic violence and men killing women...

Omg yes!!!!! So may guys are looking for “I don’t know” or “something casual” but want kids some day. I just swipe no on them...

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
