OYS report #12 Sex During sex (a week ago) a condom nearly slipped off. It didn't but it was quite close. Since then wife is quite stressed out. She did suck me off twice last week but she is getting really annoyed when I initiate. I assume things will be back to normal after her next shark week - expected to start next week. I had a vasectomy a few weeks ago. Condoms are a temporary solution. Obviously I should have been more careful. This never happened to me before. Lifting / Diet After a lot…

I read through your linked post. Twice. I also stumpled over this post https://www.reddit.com/r/askMRP/comments/4fe7pk/how_to_handle_a_wife_that_is_always_sick_andor/?st=jdncq3j4&sh=a077aa4b I guess I have had at least some codependency issues in my past. I always felt attracted to damaged women. I do however believe that I did not make the mistake of marrying one and also that I've solved most if not all of my codependency issues in the last years. Comparing the post you linked and the multiple…

OYS report #11 Sex My wife confided in me, that she has a new years resolution to fuck me twice a week except for shark week. I responded playfully, mentioned that I can easily fuck her more than two times and that she should feel free to suck me off in shark week. I did definitely not request this from her or hinted at that. She seems to be committed though. Last week she was sick from Monday to Saturday. On Sunday she surprised me after I took a shower with a blow job in the bathroom kneeing o…

OYS report #10 Lifting In week 2 of "The year one challenge" by Michael Matthews. Things are going good. I had to skip a workout on Monday, but I'll be sure to have the planned three workouts by the end of the week. Diet Last week: 82,5 kg 181,8 lbs (measured on a single day, no average) 7-day average: 82,7 kg 182.3 lbs Goal not reached. Got a bit off the diet plan. Not excessive but as Michael says there is little room for error to stay within the limits. Goal is to loose 0.25 - 0.5 kg (0.55 - …

OYS report #9 I don't know why I haven't started earlier. But I've been tracking my wifes period with one of those apps for two cycles now. It's amazing what you learn about your wife if you do that and how little she knows about herself. If you haven't tried doing this: Start now. Lifting In week 1 of "The year one challenge" by Michael Matthews. Things are going good. Diet Last week: 83,3 kg 183,6 lbs Currently starting to track daily for a 7 day average. Will report back next week. Things are…

OYS report #8 In September some stuff happened that got me side tracked. Then I got an injury due to which I needed to reduce the heavy lifting. I should have dealt with it better. But I'm back. While I lost some muscles I at least increased the leading and my frame. Lifting I read "bigger leaner stronger". I tied a lot of open ends together for me. I'm going to start following "The year one challenge" by Michael Matthews to the letter starting tomorrow. I'll keep you updated on how it progresse…

Thanks a lot for the post. I always had trouble labelling the difference between bubble and rubber people. Being able to have a label just gave me a major breakthrough.

Usually it's one, max. two days where I leave that early. I don't want to give her hamster reasons to sleep on the coach. I guess as I progress I should break through this fear. But I'm not there yet. Yes the little things are great! @social life: I don't have a good reason. Just a lack of focus. I really focused on being a great dad for the last weeks. In one of the next weeks I need to make this a priority. I have a feeling that great progress can be made at my current stage if I increase my s…

OYS report #7 Lifting On track. Diet Tuesday: 80.1 kg / 176.6 lbs - (-1 kg / -2.2 lbs from last week) 7 day average: 80.8 kg / 178.1 lbs Mist last weeks goal for Tuesday by 0.6 kg / 1.3 lbs. Getting below the magic 80 kg is proving quite hard. Goal for Tuesday in two weeks: Do not gain more than 2 kg during a one week holiday trip. I need to continue focusing on keeping my diet clean and ensuring that I don't eat too little. The food I eat the day after usually outweights any weight losses due t…

OYS report #6 Lifting On track. Diet 81.1 kg / 178.8 lbs - goal: get down to 79,5 kg / 175.3 lbs by next week Missed last weeks goal by 0,4 lbs. I'm going to switch to 7 day average after next week to have a better metric. On track for most of the week. Then suddenly gained 1 kg / 2.2 lbs in one day. I'm not yet weighting my food. I guess I should really start doing that so I have more data points to understand why my weight is changing the way it does. Sex Ok. 1 time, not very enthusiastic on h…

Ah, that's a good point. Guess I need to lift more until I reach that stage.

I haven't come across the shit tests from the other wife. Maybe I haven't noticed them as such. I'll be sure to look out for them! Thanks! Yes, her contacting my wife does indeed happen and complicates stuff. Like when I text logistic information and she continues the conversation with my wife as if my wife had texted her first. I guess this will improve as I continue to take the lead. Thanks for a very interesting perspective man.

Thanks. Interesting perspective. I did not see it that way at all. I'll be sure to remember it.

Great speech. Thanks for posting. I'll be making our bed every single morning from now on unless my wife is still asleep when I leave the house. I was already making the bed every evening and sometimes in the morning. While this was an improvement I see the failure in my actions. Thank you!

OYS report #5 Missed two OYS weeks. Lifting On track. Diet 82,3 kg / 181 lbs - goal loose 1,5 kg / 3 lbs by next week. While I was on track the last couple of weeks I still didn't loose any additional weight which I lost easily before. I'm going on a cut for the next 2,5 weeks. I'd really like to loose at least 3 kg by then. Wife is starting to talk about loosing weight herself. She is quite slim, but did gain a little around the belly in the last months. It would be great if she chooses to foll…

OYS report #4 Focus last week: have fun on my trip regardless of the moods of my wife - check (it was awesome) get up at 5 am and a have a small workout at home every weekday - check hit the gym 3x/week - check complete my todo list for shortterm home projects - failed (90 % complete, but failed is failed) initiate whenever I feel like it - check Lifting On track. Diet On track. Still need a good list of what to eat with receipts so I'll have less excuses. Sex Great. Three times last week (Tuesd…

OYS report #3 Lifting Missed once and no good excuse. Diet Nearly on track. I'll focus on preparing myself a good list of what to eat with receipts so I'll have less excuses. Sex Good. Two great times last week (Tuesday - Monday). I was not very motivated to initiate a couple of weeks ago. This has totally changed again. Not all initiations lead to sex (only very few do), but this is good, this way I can work on not minding the rejections (which is already working quite good). Frame Improving. W…

Missed 2 OYS. Planning not to do that again. Lifting I'm back on track. 3x a week at the gym. I'll getting up half an hour earlier (5 am) starting tomorrow to have a small workout each day at home to build some discipline (and muscles). I really liked to 100 pushups from Men of March (but stopped doing them). Diet Slacked off a bit. I did some major renovation and just felt like I needed enough carbs. No weight gain but no weight loss either. Back on track since two days now. Sex Bad at the end …

Hi, reposting thanks to the input from /u/Persaeus, I was quite late to the last OYS thread. this is my first OYS post. Read: NMMNG, MMSLP, WISNIFG, Rational Male, TMAP Reading: Practical Female Psychology Married, 34, 2 kids, 178 lbs. I've been lurking for a few months with good results, but would like to take this now to the next level and therefore will write an OYS post every week from now on. Lifting: Good progress, but I've slacked off for the last two weeks. I'm returning to my 3x / week …
