She's pretty shy when we go out, and she's asked me to take the lead with it

I appreciate that, man, but I promise that at best I'm average. I brushed up on Men's fashion and grooming before anything really and made sure to do any other research. But basically, forming good habits and not trying to be someone you're not is the underlying message I'm trying to get at - besides taking good pictures for dating apps

Anyone can look good if they take good photos. Most girls know this, but not a lot of guys do. If you read the post, you'd get that good pics aren't as important good habits, but they do help on dating apps.

It's not that it's the wrong thing to say, it's just that you have so many different better options when it comes to a question like that. By saying she's the first, you are being sincere and it may resonate differently with different women. However, if you allow yourself to play around with the question rather than answering it directly, you build a game between you and her right off the bat. Personally, I would err on the side of being more playful.

Even if she doesn't respond, you just built thicker skin. Congrats, man.

What if they have a boyfriend and they keep looking my way? Stay away or establish a platonic friendship

It does. I will apply this to my next approach. Thanks a ton!

Totally, dude! Trying to say hi to someone new everyday. I'm lucky enough to live walking distance to the gym so I'm there everyday. Should be easy enough.

Hell yeah, dude! Every time I get butterflies in my stomach, I see it as a cue to approach instead of a cue to back off. It's slowly dying down after every new person I meet.

Definitely what I was thinking too. It's easier after you cross that threshold.

Go out, find other chicks bro. Unfortunately, she was a loss but there are billions of other 10s waiting to meet you and date you. Don't waste your time with someone who isn't interested in you. Become a high value man (pursue your endeavors first and if women become a part of it, cool) The goal isn't to fuck women and manipulate their emotions into bringing them back to sleep with you; that's highly needy behavior and a lose-lose for both of you. Take some time to meditate, work out, cry even d…

At this day in age, its almost impossible to be ignorant. It really takes a special breed of snowflakes to be misinformed or not informed at all and then to form their opinions later.

I'm confused. Her raising me to be a man wouldn't make ME happy? I disagree. In fact, I'm rather glad she did. I also do not see how that would be advantageous to her so much as it would be to me -- for what are all these other hoes to her? After all, I'm her most cherished creation. I see it as a rather selfless act and am thankful for her doing so. She does so because she is my mother and if ANYTHING, it is her duty to raise me as the mother she chose to be than I'd argue as far as to say she …

As OP states, we are here to help and will guide you toward going your own way. But understand this sub isn't about hating women at all. It's about growing our MASCULINE selves.
/r/MGTOW18/01/19 12:40 PM
4

I'm sorry for what happened and appreciate you honesty. That fucking sucks hard. Anger is a completely valid emotion to feel and can often be translated into misogyny in cases like this. Happy you moved on and have gone your own way, brother. We're here for you.
/r/MGTOW18/01/19 12:36 PM

Appreciate your attempt to understand the community. You're more than welcome to slide by whenever you want. MGTOW is a community that isn't about hating women so much as it is finding value in ourselves as men and straying away from the meta of modern relationships. A lot of immature people on this sub who don't understand how to deal with opposing opinions will call you a slur of things, but pay no attention to their pathetic asses. You went out of the way to come and understand more and I bel…

If you watch the video in its entirety, he does provide some good points.
/r/MGTOW18/01/19 12:19 PM
2

No. In fact, I didn't call anyone who merely hated women an incel. I called incels "filthy women-despising incels" for that is what they are. I am aware that misogyny is a form of coping with past and horrendous experiences with the opposite gender on this subreddit. But when it is misdirected and purposeless, it is a futile projection of one's own inner issues that need to be worked on -- in which case it's not the woman's fault. What results then is one who pertains to the "incel" category.
/r/MGTOW18/01/19 12:09 PM
5

Thank you for understanding. If new mods are ever needed, I'd be more than happy to apply as well haha. However, I think that silencing the incel refugee's -- as we'll call them -- voices will do more harm than good. Censoring out their voices will only make them come back twice as hard. I believe it necessary to notice these post and do as you said, but also explain why it is not MGTOW so that our lost brothers can learn.
/r/MGTOW18/01/19 11:46 AM
2

I don't see how that is a blanket insult to people on this subreddit who happen to be severely misogynistic as I refer to a specific subclass of people in this community. Plus, I don't believe the idea is to be an incel on MGTOW. But you are more than obliged to voice your thoughts on that as this is their last refuge.
/r/MGTOW18/01/19 11:39 AM

I'm not advocating against venting. In fact, I mention that we should continue to share shit that pisses off so we all may learn from it. But do so and don't dwell on it. GYOW
/r/MGTOW18/01/19 10:33 AM

I get your point and it sucks for the men on here that have to constantly experience the pain day in and day out through divorce and alimony. But that does not give the right to nullify anybody else's beliefs because they simply don't agree to see it the way they see it. By all means, they have a right to voice those experiences so that we may learn and empathize with them. And please do, seriously! We need personal accounts so that we may learn ourselves. What I don't advocate nor agree with is…

Other than that, if you feel like it's the right thing to do, go for it and you have my full support. Better to live and learn and be a spokesperson for our community than to bottle it up. Who knows where the podcast could lead to in the future? Might even be the Ben Shapiro of this community lol
/r/MGTOW18/01/19 07:55 AM

Make sure to preach about MGTOW and not blatant misogyny if you're going to do so. There is a difference.

Likewise, bro! Take it easy
/r/MGTOW17/01/19 11:46 AM

Totally agree with you there. I used to be like that as well, but in a more cultural way. I would avoid listening to rap, hiphop, and other, and newer, genres of music that continue to emerge and was so self-indulged in listening to 50s and 60s (and even classical) music even though it did not pertain to my generation. It led me to have a distaste in anybody who listened to the aforementioned genres at school or anywhere I went and eventually led to me developing a snobby, "fart-sniffy" attitude…
