I see a lot of posts about the feeling of not taking the chance is worse than actually taking it, so I decided to implement that mentality earlier today at the gym.

As I was finishing up my workout, I notice a cutie using resistance bands to work out. I walked up to her and I asked her what they were for and she was talking about how they were used for glutes and hamstrings. I wasn't interested in asking her out though so I kept things platonic and ended with a "pleasure meeting you."

I'm honestly pretty proud of myself and I appreciate the community on here for providing the needed push for me to face my approach anxietu and just talk to chicks whether you're interested or not.

Next time, I will work on elongating the conversation and closing, but for now I just wanna express my gratitude for this sub. Y'all are the best

Edit: Thank you all for the incredible support and feedback. I know as far as seduction goes I didn't exactly close right there and then, but I'm really proud I took the first step in talking to women outside of my friend group. She'll remember me the next time I go in and we can strike up a convo from there.
