For real there is a lot of “wifey” merch out there. Lots of women wear it. If you like the idea, go for it!

RP is not just for married women

Not a wife

I’ve got butternut squash soup in the crockpot, already prepped all my veggies and proteins for the week including salmon and chicken.

Minor things turn into major things if they’re not addressed. So many people don’t talk to their S/O and then come to Reddit when the problem is out of control. Therapy isn’t a bad answer but yes, people should try to resolve things together if they can.

Is this the same guy who your first date was nine days ago? And you asked about not being ready for sex only four days ago on this sub? I wonder if you moved too fast and now you regret it and are feeling insecure so you’ve come here to have us help you feel better.

Sounds like there’s some other issue at play, because if your Captain wants to do something for you, for your marriage, and openly shares that with you, why would your mind jump to the potential for resentment in the future?

What does he want to do? Have you talked about it with your husband?

Then if you’re already married and were both saving for a party, your finances are already combined and it should be paid for out of both of your own bank account, no family contributions expected. You’re essentially throwing yourselves a party.

Tradition is that’s the bride’s family pays for everything, no? The groom’s family pays for the rehearsal dinner. Wait. Your post history suggests you’re already married? https://www.reddit.com/r/adultery/comments/e3ayk9/is_quitting_my_job_and_leaving_the_country_a/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

I’m curious too. OP tell us about your post history to help us understand where you’re coming from because it’s super confusing

I’m not daffodil but I surmise that they did not intend for you to literally name each man in this post. They meant for you to realize you were generalizing by saying “men”. You could have written instead that there have been some instances where you’ve noticed a store clerk and coworkers behaving in a way you disagree with instead of generalizing the behavior to them all.

It sounds like your long term goals aren’t in alignment, sorry to say. If it’s important to you to be married I would find someone who wants to.

So since your cheat days are the problem, stop having cheat days. Discipline will get you everywhere in life.

Find a style mentor, a woman who’s look you appreciate. Tell her, and ask her for help. I did this once many years ago and it changed the way I dressed.

My boyfriend is a homebody so he doesn’t go out. Me: tonight I’m catching up on “me” time, watching my trashy tv with my kitty in my lap, in pjs, after going shopping casually after work.

Thanks. I am a mother but plan to remain single my whole life. So my home is made and I care for it very well but didn’t know if you thought that being married is the only way to validate my feminine contributions to my home?

Do you need to be a wife in order to be feminine? I guess I’m an outlier in that I don’t desire to be married but still am feminine, thrive by doing feminine things, etc.

Tell that to the ten pounds I gained from entering menopause with absolutely no calories above daily needs and consistent exercise (gain over the past 6 months) Surprise you also get a beard.

I don’t think it’s immature to be realistic and consider all that you’re thinking about. You have to be true to you. Do what makes you happy.

I read this with interest as I’m a single parent and find everything IRL is heavily traditional and nuclear. I agree though that much of television promotes nontraditional families and I’m not a fan of it (since much of it is anti-male)

What do you want the outcome to be? Of any discussion? Ask yourself that and the answer about how to start it/say it will come to you. TBH I read your post history and I think you need to get out of this relationship. For the primary reason that he’s controlling/abusive but also because he’s probably cheating on you. I’m sorry.

This is funny-I’ve sent each of my boyfriends or husbands to therapy-they would never go on their own. I credit myself with saving the lives of hundreds (kidding)

You decide if you can live like this because it’s not going to change-you either accept it or you don’t. That’s the only advice I have.

Yes. Yes. And yes. It seems like ALL the men I get into relationships with are emotionally unavailable. It always ends badly. That being said, my current BF of a year is that way also. He regularly pulls away, gets distant, ignores me, is very insecure. When I call him on it he returns, usually makes me feel less insecure myself about what he’s doing, and starts showing up in the relationship again. It happens almost like PMS. He doesn’t think therapy will help him and he has a horrible relation…
/r/RedPillWomen28/12/18 03:06 PM

You should always talk to them. Tell him what you told us. Give him an opportunity to hear you, respond, and then act. If any of what he says or does doesn’t line up with what you want, then you move on.
