How do I come across as judging them as better? I don’t see them as better. I see them all as pretty near dead equal. In fact, out of all of them if I was picking my favorite it would definitely be one that I DID date. He alpha widowed the life out of me for two years after our split. So better, no. Different, only in that they seem to have higher standards and not like me. I can’t completely figure out why though.

Sexual Market Value. Glorified way of saying attractiveness to the opposite sex.

Well those things are true. All my exes are high SMV and I do get lots of male attention. But I also can’t get these guys I want. So you see why I’m confused. This is great advice, especially about the demeanor and attitude. I’m actively trying to work on this. Thank you very much!

It’s possible for sure. I truly have no clue whether it’s looks, personality, or a combo of both. I personally think I’m a 7 but that’s just me. I wouldn’t even know where to begin knowing if that’s actually true.
/r/RedPillWomen22/05/19 06:20 PM

I never said I was high SMV. It certainly doesn’t feel that way when I’m constantly having these problems. If anything I’m worried I have low SMV. I’m definitely not sure that my type is interested in me as a type. It doesn’t feel like it. My type could best be described as sigma.

I agree, thanks for the insight.

Okay.....not trying to be rude but how does this help me? I’m trying to figure out the problem with my IRL prospects.

I’m honestly trying to figure that out but can’t. My type could best be described as what’s commonly known in RP terms as a sigma.

Thanks for that tip, I’ll try to practice that!

I think you’re right :( Now that you mention it, this is something that my mom has mentioned to me quite a bit. And sometimes when I get in that “zone” I can sort of see people’s faces change into a more closed off zone. I will try to work on this, thanks!
/r/RedPillWomen21/05/19 04:34 AM

This is helpful in a sense but I actually find myself friend zoned extremely frequently. I would consider myself friends with all the guys I’m referencing but they go for other girls in our mutual circles and only see me platonically.
/r/RedPillWomen21/05/19 03:56 AM

You’re probably right. This is definitely true of me. I used to be very shy as a kid and was made fun of horribly for it so I think I have this subconscious idea that being quiet is a huge turnoff (although ironically I’m all about quiet guys) and try to overcompensate. I definitely think I should tone it down a bit. Thanks for the help!

They do, but the thing is, they all sorta do. I have a very specific type so almost all of their personalities are extremely similar. There are definitely some differences between the ones who go for me and the ones who don’t but they’re hard for me to put my finger on.

I’m wondering this also! I posted a couple weeks ago about being extremely outgoing to the point of rambling/not letting the other person talk when I get excited. I also have a definite tendency to try to act super show off? I guess you could call it? Around guys I like. I get LOUD and try to act like the life of the party in my conversations with whoever else is in the room, hoping it’ll catch his attention. I suppose this could feel obnoxious.

Well I don’t want women to have 100% of the right to choose so I don’t think we should have to bear 100% of the responsibility. I believe abortion should be illegal and I believe that if people of either gender are stupid enough to have a child they don’t intend to care for then they can either give up the child for adoption or they can be stuck with the responsibility. If you don’t like it, don’t conceive a kid.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/19 06:56 PM

Two people conceive, one person decides No. That child is half you. So you share half the responsibility. Therefore, abortions should be illegal. Agreed. All of those Mums made the conscious and considered decision to have said child. Yes, that’s why it’s scummy of them to abandon the child. But it’s also scummy of a dad.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/19 05:10 PM
1

Not the OP but it takes two people to conceive a child. Those two people should both have responsibility for the child. Period. Don’t want the responsibility? Use excellent birth control and don’t sleep with someone you wouldn’t be okay with the slim possibility of having a child with (unless you’re one of those people who doesn’t EVER want children, in which case get a vasectomy/hysterectomy so you don’t have to worry about it) Your gender is irrelevant, there are deadbeat moms too.

I’ve been there. I didn’t date for two and a half years after my breakup with the guy that led me to swallow the red pill. He had been my world for six years and I just didn’t and couldn’t want anyone besides him. It felt IMPOSSIBLE to ever move on from him, so I totally get the discouragement you must be feeling. The good news is it doesn’t have to last forever. As recently as December I thought I’d never be over him, nowadays he barely even crosses my mind. I’ll give you a couple things that h…

In that case he’s even more of a jerk. He sounds manipulative and predatory and you are much better off without him. You’re 19. You’re very young and will have plenty of opportunities to meet better guys. In a year he won’t even matter to you, I can almost guarantee it.

I will never understand this concept of e-dating. How can you (and why would you want to) build a solid relationship with a person you’ve never met? Realistically, I don’t blame him for seeking out someone else. He’s never even met you. Why should he put his life on hold for you? That said, he’s a jerk for cheating (and yes, if he’s made a commitment to be exclusive it is indeed cheating, whether he ever should have committed to exclusivity is a separate issue) and lying to you. You’d be better …

Why would you do this to someone? Seriously? Is this middle school?

A lot of people will say yes but I don’t think so. You can’t choose your family and some people genuinely come from painful backgrounds through no fault of their own. I’m so sorry you’ve had to go through those things and that your relationship with your mother is poor. Having parents with issues with substance abuse and domestic violence is certainly not your fault. Objectively, I’d consider family baggage on that level to be a yellow flag. Definitely not something to write someone off for, but…

Which is extremely ironic because none of these guys would want a woman who is smelly, obese, and a rabid feminist, no matter how loyal she is. Rules for thee and not for me. Also, I totally agree with you about the intel migration. I honestly wish their subs hadn’t been shut down because while I’ve never been a fan of TRP’s pump and dump attitude, at least they’ve always been known for their dedication to self improvement, which I very much respect. The incel mindset is so incompatible with the…

There.are.three.billion.men.in.this.world. Why on earth are you with this one? You treated him despicably by cheating and he’s treating you despicably by trying to have this weird one way open relationship. Neither of you seems to have each other’s best interests at heart at all. Cut your losses and get out. If he likes this girl so much he can date her, and you can find someone who will treat you with respect. But be a woman who deserves respect. Don’t cheat. Plain and simple.

Honestly I think age ranges for dating are unnecessary. My SO is a year older than me but it just happened to work out that way. I’ve never had a set age range. Give me (about to be 25) a mature 21 year old with his life in order over a 30 year old man child any day. And on the flip side, give me a 50 year old guy who is still in shape and still has a zest for life over a 28 year old who hates women and posts on some of these Reddit incel forums any day. The only argument I genuinely see for set…

I met my boyfriend on OkCupid! As a reference point since I’m not well known around here by this name, I used to be a very well known contributor to this sub under a different name until deleting that account two months or so ago. Before I left I posted a question about meeting guys without online dating because I was so turned off by the idea. OP and a number of others recommended I didn’t rule it out and between their encouragement and the encouragement of some IRL friends I decided to give it…

Christianity, so claiming the title (personal relationship with Christ) is huge. But I agree about playing mum. He and I have talked about it. This is basically what I’ve decided on. He says he’s more than willing to talk religious things with them. So I see it as unlikely to be an issue. If we mostly avoid the subject, and he talks about things if they ask him, I don’t think anyone has to be the wiser.

Thank you for this insight! I appreciate the perspective. This is exactly what I’m sure their concern would be based in. But I want them to see that isn’t true. I’m not settling for him. He treats me worlds better than my previous boyfriends who WERE members of my religion, who my family hated for how they treated me. He’s a wonderful man and I want them to see that. But I can totally see how it would look to them like I’m changing a major part of myself just to be with him. That’s sort of my ow…

I’m with you all the way. The first two waves of feminism were useful and helpful. I’m very political so I like being able to vote. I’m very ambitious and I like that I’ve been able to fulfill my career dreams and travel dreams without being seen as a lesser woman. I don’t want to sound haughty, but like you, I have a higher than average IQ and am glad I’m not seen as inferior to any man simply on the basis of gender. All those things are great. This third wave is horrific. It’s throwing the bab…

Girl I feel you. I’m so sorry that happened to your mom, and by extension you. I struggle the same way, though I never experienced it with my own parents. I’ve had five aunts cheated on and I saw the way it broke them. It really does a number on you, especially when you read some of these subs on reddit (looking at you TRP) that make it sound like every man is a cheater. But it’s important to remind yourself that just is not true. Yes, everyone is capable of cheating. But that doesn’t mean every…

I crashed and burned at STFUing this week. My man has been under a TON of stress and pressure lately and ended up cancelling/rearranging plans twice this week. Both times I just wanted to let it go because I know the stress he’s under and he’s been AMAZING at making a huge effort to make time for me and always plans the sweetest dates. Unfortunately I ended up opening my big mouth and complaining and we got in fights and I could tell I made him feel awful, which was so not my goal because he’s r…

He said it first. After only five weeks. He accidentally blurted it out in the middle of a conversation. But said it several more times with more confidence over the next couple days. I said it back three days later.

It shouldn’t. If you genuinely believe in certain things it shouldn’t matter where you live. I’ve lived in several of the most left wing cities in my country for my entire life. It may make it harder for you to date/find friends with similar values but even that isn’t impossible. You just have to know where to look.

I’m so sorry to hear about your mom :( that’s exactly what I’m afraid of having happen. I just can’t believe someone would do that to their own kid. I’m not JW but have definitely heard it can be similar! My background could best be described as fundamentalist baptist actually.

Right, you bring up a good point and I’ve seen similar things happen. I should clarify (I didn’t in the OP for the sake of keeping it short) he does respect the tenets of my religion as a general framework for his life and uses them as a guidepost. Which is how I am too. The only difference between me and him is I claim the title, and he doesn’t but says he’s inspired by it. My family on the other hand is very deep into the religion and follows it to the letter.

Don’t wear more makeup than you need. Don’t get fat. Avoid smoking and excessive alcohol. Moisturize. Moisturize. Moisturize. I’m barely younger than you so I’m starting to pay attention to these things too. These are what I’ve garnered from my mom who will be sixty this year and is taken for 45 as a rule. Part of it is truly genetic. She has only a patch of grey hair at almost sixty and didn’t go through menopause until 50 plus so I know that’s part of it. But there’s also a lot to be said for …

See, in theory I totally agree. And if it was a few friends or extended family it would be one thing. But we’re talking about my parents, my siblings, and my best friends. I’ve always had a very close relationship with my family. And even though I don’t agree with them on some things, I don’t want to lose them. :(
/r/RedPillWomen21/01/19 03:48 PM

That’s my thinking honestly. I would want to hope they would care about me more than that. But unfortunately I know these types of circles of this religion well enough to know.

This is kind of a vague question. Do you mean just have males as friends as opposed to dating them? Or just have males as friends as opposed to females? And can you explain a little more of what being insecure has to do with it?
/r/RedPillWomen14/01/19 01:56 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
