a couple things i find on accepting myself and my past once i learned TRP: - i didn't know better before so i cannot be mad at myself for my actions - now that i know, i can do better and make myself better. we do not wish to regret the past, nor shut the door on it. - don't worry about a year from now or two years from now. set goals for them, but focus on each day. Each day, are you getting a little bit better? Its a day at a time. if you work a little bit each day towards your goals, in a yea…

i injured my lower back in December and haven't deadlifted since. I also can't do the hack squat machine - it iritates it. I still do regular squats, but i dont go too heavy - i just do more reps. I know a buddy who is training to compete in a body building competition who has two herniated discs. He doesn't squat or deadlift and is in impeccable shape. Train with what works for you

I guess i said that wrong. I was eating enough to gain a little bit of weight, but it felt like a caloric deficit. Only ate 2-3 meals a day. I put on about 20 pounds from January to November. Since starting the diet i have put on another 10. When i did my first body fat test (calipers) in November here are my readings: 11/12/19: 149.9lbs with workout pants and long sleeve shirt 7pt Skinfold: 9.6% (14.3lbs FM)(134.7lbs FFM) Chest: 7.5 Ab: 14 Thigh: 12 Tri: 9 Scap: 10 Iliac: 12 Midax: 7 Here are m…

So i'm 23, started lifting at 22 at 125lbs in January of 2019. As of last week im at 154.6lbs. I was skinny fat. I lifted hard but saw minimal results because i was eating at a caloric deficit up until November 2019. I went and saw a nutriotionist. I am on a meal plan, 6 days a week, 6 meals a day. 3200 calories a day. I've seen an increase in mass in my chest, shoulders, arms, legs, while actually lowering body fat by one percent since the diet started. I eat around 2900 calories a day, give or…

Definitely. I have younger male cousins i'm trying to inspire by showing them how good my life is and how they can get a great life too but they have to put in the work. One day at a time, i get better and better.

This is definitely it. Good genetics, very social. In college i was social chair of my fraternity so i had good "status" but i didn't have a mission. Ever since i have developed my own mission, my confidence became more natural. It was ego before, now its confidence.

It’s been pretty simple. Go to kapre.com and look at online courses for your state. That’s the program I used. I currently work for a real estate company so the transition should be smooth once I’m licensed. The information isn’t tough to learn, it’s just a lot of memorization.

My body has adjusted to my schedule. This schedule didn’t happen overnight but added one thing at a time. I have my daily routine from sleep to gym to my meals etc all dialed in for what works for me.

I take creatine HCL instead of creatine monohydrate. HCL doesn't have the water retention and only requires 2 grams a day as it is more water soluable, by about 40x, than monohydrate. You wont get the size from HCL but the strength and recovery is definitely there. check out creatine HCL from Beyond RAW at GNC

recently thought about this myself. decided it isn't the N-count but the behavior the girl exhibits. I've seen myself a girl who went from slutty to very well put together. Great job, great father role model. If they can change their behavior before hitting the wall, the N-count does not matter in my opinion.

yeah man. everyone has peaks and valleys they go through. once you hit that peak, you're gonna walk through a valley before you hit that next peak. find what works for you and use it

i try to tell myself that theres no such thing as a bad day, only a bad hour. you can change or do something to make it better. also, every day comes to an end. the next day is different from before. I also put down my phone, laptop, television off, etc for 15 minutes a day at least and just meditate with myself and think about how i could be better tomorrow than today.

i like to think of it as a nice gesture. i saw the video and it seemed very genuine. What i'm unsure of is how this girl acts, and if she will use it for social media attention in the future. That being said, the kid with autism will have the time of his life and that is all that matters in my opinion. The girl will go on and have great experiences throughout life, while this boy will remember it for his entire life. I respect it personally.

thats really helpful to hear. it sounds like it makes your movements and everything more fluid and confident - physically and mentally. thats awesome to hear it has mentally helped you in severe ways. I hope that it helps me just to become stronger mentally. I appreciate you taking time to write that up. thanks man!

i appreciate this. to touch on a couple things, 1) how consistently have you practiced in the past year? a couple times a week or just every so often? 2) you mentioned joint pain. i have a very small partial lateral meniscus tear in my knee. With physical therapy, im hoping that yoga can compliment and help along side of the pt. can you elaborate on your joint pain and how it has helped?

its definitely a good stretching and relaxation supplement i've always thought. i haven't gotten fully into strength training yet - as stated in another comment. sleep schedule and very little gym knowledge keeps me away except for outdoor cardio.

ive done it in high school decently regularly as a supplement to my soccer conditioning and practices. but now as a sophomore in college, my back has been tight recently and ive been getting back into yoga.

my biggest problem with lifting is i have very little knowledge in the gym, and dont get up early enough to do so. I am working on getting up earlier and earlier, but being in college and going out on weekends kind of forces a shitty sleep cycle on myself. working on changing this and making better time management as well as trying to find a good gym routine that is easier for me to comprehend and lift by myself with.
