I do think there's a severe lack of positive male and female role models in society these days. As it is society that is creating this lack, we cannot look to society. Or the system. There is absolutely NO way, that ANY teacher should be sleeping with ANY student of highschool age or less. (16/18) Even if in some countries such ages are on the cusp of age of consent. It sounds like in your friends situation he may of been dealing with a Narc and is suffering as much as he is in part to being narc discarded. Potentially further triggered by unresolved childhood trauma. And yes there can be double standards with this more favouring the gentler sex.
