So, here's the story. I'm your standard ugly nerd who always got rejected. I really tried my best, i put myself out there, i was socialising, i wasn't complaining to anyone when things didn't work out. I did it for years and still was the social outcast. Then during my second year of college one chick convinced me to open up about my issues. I kept refusing but she insisted. So i told her everything and hopes for some advice. First she told me that there is nothing to sorry about, i'm an awesome guy and will find someone eventually and started making up stories about how those rejections weren't actually rejections (that girl who unmatched me before a set up tinder date actually must have had an error on her app for example). And i insisted that i've been rejected a lot and that me being an "awesome guy" clearly isn't enough and i really need advice on how to self improve. And she just started mocking me for being a "whiny bitch" or other insults like that, telling me that it's not that big of a deal and i should just fucking get over it and focus on hobbies and eventually started diagnosing me with a billion personality disorders and yelling at me to get therapy (she also mocked me when i actually got it because it was supposed be CBT while the insurance company signed me up for psychoanalysis). And the end i just felt even more like trash than before.

And i've seen the same attitude plenty of times, both in real life and the internet. I would say that people don't care, but they do. They just don't care about actually helping guys out. Instead they put a lot of effort into convincing guys that it's all in their heads, nothing ever happened and everything will be alright. Or just mocking and bullying them if they show any negativity. They'll post their articles about how lonely guys are the prime recruiting pool for the alt-right, Jordan Peterson or whatever and will say how they need to instill us with left wing values to stop the from being radicalised while doing Jack-Shit to actually help them with their problems
